Hello and happy day to all of you, and welcome to a new blog post with a step-by-step tutorial on how I made a mini Hello Kitty ballerina plushie, made with recycled materials. Today I'm back to show you how I made a mini Hello Kitty plushie, but this time it's personalized because it's a gift I was asked to make.
Today I'm back with you to show you how I made a mini Hello Kitty plushie, but this time it's personalized because it's a gift I was asked to make. Of course, I already had all the materials ready and was eager to start. These mini plushies are so cute because all the details are tiny, giving them an adorable touch. Sewing them makes them a little tricky because of the small details, but seeing the finished product shows me that they were made with a lot of care. Also, the materials are few because, being mini, it doesn't require much fabric, thread, or time. So, I invite you to follow along step by step and see the final result.

Paso 1/Step 1
I started by marking the Hello Kitty shape on the white fabric, I marked the complete shape with a pencil and the area where the eyes and nose go.

Paso 2/Step 2
Then I moved on to making the eyes with black thread. I marked that part with a pencil so that they would look as similar as possible. Then I started with a stitch in the middle and then sewed over that stitch until I formed the eye. I did the same with the other eye and the nose with yellow thread, I also sewed it in the same way.

Paso 3/Step 3
Next, I continued sewing the tutu part. I started by sewing the top part of the shirt with purple fabric, using buttonhole stitching. Then I sewed the tutu part.

Paso 4/Step 4
After sewing the details, like the eyes, nose, and tutu, I could now sew the two parts of the plushie together. I also used buttonhole stitching, and as I was sewing, I added the stuffing, which is made up of very small pieces of cut-out material that act as filling. As I sewed, I added the stuffing until I finished sewing. I did this step because if I sewed everything first and then added the stuffing, the stuffing wouldn't reach the ears and arms.

Paso 5/Step 5
Finally, I added a bow detail in the middle of the tutu, and the bow on the corner of the ear, which is the iconic bow that Hello Kitty has always had. And that's how it was finished.
