Monochrome Monday a few recent edits

Good Morning, I hope you all had a good weekend

Starting the week as I usually do with a few Monochrome edits of photos, but today I thought I needed to take a break from choosing historic buildings for my mono edits, which I have tended to do a lot recently.

I do feel the historic buildings here are so suitable for mono edits to give a timeless feel, but I have been sharing so many posts and photos of historic buildings that I thought you might like something different.

Starting with this houseboat I saw on a walk a couple of weeks ago, or perhaps more, I met up with someone who had contacted me to come on a Podcast for a local artists index, and we met first and went for a walk in the area near where he lived, an area I had not walked before.

We had a good walk talked a lot and I saw some sights I had not seen before, including this houseboat with the clouds; I thought it was a good fit for a Mono edit.

Now, about the podcast, I will try to make a long story short.

After this walk he seemed a nice guy and I agreed to do the podcast, which surprised me, as I am naturaly shy and initially I was going to turn it down, we meet one other time for him to ask a few questions and take down notes, and did the podcast a couple of weeks ago, and instead of just audio they actuallt did it as video. I was nervous, but I think it went OK, and I will probably share a link to it, when they edit and post it.

And a shot of the Palmer Island Light. OK this I guess counts as a historic building, but I slipped it in :)

and to finish of a view from on top o the Elm Street Parking garage it was kinfd of misty that morning and I thought this worked well in MONO

    I think parking garage photos are really underrated. They sometimes give you some of the best views in towns like yours. We have one near where I live and it is a similar effect. Nice shots!
