🇪🇸 ~ ¡Feliz Caturday a todos! 💗 Espero todos en casa se encuentren muy bien; mis mininos en casa están excelente, salvo un pequeño incidente que tuvimos esta semana, cuando mi pequeño terrorista Apolo le ha dado un zarpazo en la cara al pobre Enki, el gordo pacifico del grupo, y le ha lastimado un ojito.
Afortunadamente siempre tengo lágrimas artificiales sin esteroides en la caja de primeros auxilios y con eso pudo sanar bien en aproximadamente 3 días, no hizo falta antibióticos.
También ayer fue un día de ir al doctor, aunque no mis gatos, sino Nina, la gatita de mi vecina, que lamentablemente presentó un sangrado importante en la orina desde la noche del jueves.
En el próximo Caturday voy a compartir esa experiencia, creo que mi amiga es un muy buen ejemplo de cuidadora porque no espero mucho para llevar a Nina al doctor; y también conocí un nuevo centro Veterinario en mi ciudad que me impresiono muchísimo porque son especialistas en gatos, y es justo lo que estaba buscando desde que pasé de ser "una persona de perros" a convertirme en "la señora de los gatos" de mi familia 🐈 😂 🐈⬛

🇺🇸 ~ Happy Caturday, everyone! 💗 I hope everyone at home is doing great; my kitties at home are doing great, except for a little incident we had this week, when my little terrorist Apolo swiped poor Enki—the peaceful chubby one of the group—in the face and hurt his little eye.
Fortunately, I always keep steroid-free artificial tears in the first-aid kit, and thanks to that, it healed well in about three days—no antibiotics were needed.
Yesterday was also a day for a doctor’s visit—not for my cats, though, but for Nina, my neighbor’s kitten, who unfortunately had been experiencing significant blood in her urine since Thursday night.
On the next Caturday, I’ll share that experience—I think my friend is a great example of a responsible pet owner because she didn’t wait long to take Nina to the vet; and I also discovered a new veterinary clinic in my city that really impressed me because they specialize in cats—and that’s exactly what I’ve been looking for ever since I went from being a “dog person” to becoming my family’s “cat lady” 🐈 😂 🐈⬛

Este 2026 es un año especial, hablando de nuestra familia gatuna, porque Diana cumple 13 años de haber llegado a la vida de mi bbf @pigritia que encontró a esta hermosura cuando tenia solo unos días de nacida, dentro de un apartamento que tenía algún tiempo sin habitar.
La madre de Diana entro en este lugar por una ventana y dio a luz, pero un día ella desapareció con todos los hermanos de Diana, y quedó ella solita en el lugar. Creemos que Diana y @pigritia estaban destinadas la una a la otra, porque un tiempo antes de eso la mascota anterior de mi amiga había fallecido, y dejo un desconsuelo muy grande en el corazón de todos los que lo conocimos (era un conejo gigante muy hermoso, de pelo gris).
Así Diana fue una gatita rescatada, y hoy tiene una vida pacífica, siendo hija única en su casa y por ende reina de su reino; tiene una personalidad peculiar, caprichosa, cariñosa a su manera, algo distante pero agradecida, parece una persona pequeña, y es bastante lista cuando quiere conseguir algo de la cocina (tenemos una gran anécdota donde se ha robado unos filetes de pescado que la mamá de mi amiga dejó marinando).
ENGLISH VERSION
This year, 2026, is a special one for our feline family, because it marks 13 years since Diana came into the life of my best friend @pigritia who found this little beauty when she was just a few days old, inside an apartment that had been vacant for some time.
Diana’s mother had entered the apartment through a window and given birth there, but one day she disappeared along with all of Diana’s siblings, leaving Diana all alone. We believe Diana and @pigritia were meant for each other, because some time before that, my friend’s previous pet had passed away, leaving a deep sense of grief in the hearts of all of us who knew him (he was a very beautiful giant rabbit with gray fur).
So Diana was a rescued kitten, and today she leads a peaceful life as the only pet in her home—and thus the queen of her kingdom; she has a quirky, capricious personality—affectionate in her own way, somewhat aloof but grateful; she seems like a little person, and she’s quite clever when she wants to get something from the kitchen (we have a great story about how she stole some fish fillets that my friend’s mom had left marinating).

Diana en persona tiene un pelaje y rostro impresionante, muy bella, varias veces le han preguntado a mi amiga si es un gato de raza o importado, pero no, o quien sabe, quizá sus padres fueron gatos o descendientes de gatos de una época donde en el país la gente traía razas de gatos y perros llamativas por un tema de estatus y gusto por la exuberancia.
En Venezuela a los gatos y perros de razas mezcladas les decimos "criollitos" con cariño, son animalitos muy resistentes a las enfermedades, saludables y longevos de personalidad muy apegada a sus dueños.
Se dice que los criollitos son los mas agradecidos cuando es das una casa, y yo creo que es verdad, tanto para gatos como perros.
Diana creo que luce hermosa con sus +10 años de vida y se que estará con nosotros muchos años mas, porque su familia siempre ha sido muy atenta de ella y se han asegurado que nada le falte.
Diana herself has a stunning coat and face—she’s absolutely beautiful. My friend has been asked several times if she’s a purebred or imported cat, but she isn’t. Or who knows—maybe her parents were cats or descendants of cats from a time when people in this country brought in striking breeds of cats and dogs as a status symbol and out of a taste for extravagance.
In Venezuela, we affectionately call mixed-breed cats and dogs “criollitos”; they’re animals that are very resistant to disease, healthy, and long-lived, with personalities that are very attached to their owners.
It’s said that criollitos are the most grateful when you give them a home, and I think that’s true—for both cats and dogs.
I think Diana looks beautiful at over 10 years old, and I know she’ll be with us for many more years to come, because her family has always taken great care of her and made sure she has everything she needs.
