There are places in my hometown that I remember from my childhood—places that have been there, I believe, even before I was born—that are like part of the city’s heritage. Thanks to certain people and businesses, they’ve been carefully maintained so that they can still stand today.
They can also serve as symbols of the city, just like the Luminous Fountain.
I think it’s the only one, and it’s always been in the same spot. It’s located where several main roads intersect—it’s a landmark that’s hard to miss, especially for people who’ve lived in the city.
During the day, I pass by it many times on public transportation, since we go right next to it. Sometimes I see it filled with water, other times it’s empty—maybe because there’s no water in the city sometimes, but it could also be that they’re regulating it to prevent it from overflowing.
I don’t know about the lighting during the day, but I do know about it at night—it’s a shame I haven’t been able to pass by there at night yet to take pictures.
But I took these with my Samsung Galaxy A12 cell phone.
