En esta ocasión les comento a mis queridos amigos de los 5 para las cuatro @laloretoyya, @gorayii, @josecarrerag, @jauregui98 y @roadstories, la película "Yes Day" recientemente estrenada y protagonizada por Edgar Ramírez y Jennifer Garner y que pude ver gracias a la plataforma de streaming Netflix.
Esta es una comedia muy divertida y fresca, pero con un mensaje profundo que nos da cuenta, precisamente, de las vicisitudes que se viven en el seno de una familia y de las formas de solucionar los altibajos de la manera más sana y amorosa.
Carlos Y Allison son los papás de Katie, la hija adolescente, Nando, podríamos llamarlo el científico curioso, y la pequeña Ellie. Al principio, vemos toda la dinámica "caótica" que se presenta en todos los hogares: la hora de ir al colegio, los desayunos, las responsabilidades de los padres, en fin, la rutina propia de una casa normal.
On this occasion, I comment to my dear friends of the 5 for the four @laloretoyya, @gorayii, @josecarrerag, @jauregui98 and @roadstories, the movie "Yes Day" recently released and starring Edgar Ramirez and Jennifer Garner and that I could see thanks to the streaming platform Netflix.
This is a very funny and fresh comedy, but with a deep message that tells us, precisely, of the vicissitudes that are lived within a family and the ways to solve the ups and downs in the most healthy and loving way.
Carlos and Allison are the parents of Katie, the teenage daughter, Nando, we could call him the curious scientist, and little Ellie. At the beginning, we see all the "chaotic" dynamics that are present in every home: school time, breakfast, parental responsibilities, in short, the routine of a normal home.
Vemos también que entre los padres, como en la vida real, siempre hay uno que se inclina hacia el lado de la autoridad y el otro es más flexible o condescendiente con los hijos. En este caso, el papel del que regula o pone disciplina recae en Allison, la mamá y esto trae como consecuencia que los hijos la consideren una "dictadora". En un momento de reflexión entre Carlos y Allison, en el que revisan sus roles como padres, aparece el Sr. Deacon, un empleado de la escuela que les recomienda ofrecer los hijos, el día del Hoy sí.
Es así como se lo plantean a los niños, haciendo un trato para que se porten de acuerdo a los principios familiares, para que mantengan buenas calificaciones y para que colaboren en el hogar, a fin de que se ganen ese día en el que les dirán sí a todo lo que quieran, siempre y cuando sea algo razonable.
We also see that among the parents, as in real life, there is always one who leans towards the side of authority and the other is more flexible or condescending towards the children. In this case, the role of the regulator or disciplinarian falls on Allison, the mother, and this results in the children considering her a "dictator". In a moment of reflection between Carlos and Allison, in which they review their roles as parents, Mr. Deacon appears, a school employee who recommends them to offer the children the day of the Today Yes..
This is how they present it to the children, making a deal for them to behave according to family principles, to maintain good grades and to collaborate at home, so that they earn that day in which they will say yes to everything they want, as long as it is something reasonable.
Entre las partes del trato está la petición de Katie de ir a un concierto con sus amigas y no como quiere Allison que sea con ella porque sabe de los riesgos que puede correr su hijita en un evento como ese.
Pues bien, los chicos se ganan su día del Hoy sí y comienza la acción. La familia se sumerge en la planificación que han hecho los hijos y viven una parte del día lleno de diversión, competencia y emociones hasta que se interrumpe por un incidente entre Allison y Katie.
A partir de aquí todo se sale de control, pero no contaré más para no hacer spoiler y dejar que ustedes vivan la película y la disfruten. Al final la reconciliación y la comprensión atenúan los problemas de la familia y se abre la posibilidad de hacer mejor las cosas.
Definitivamente, como padres tenemos una gran responsabilidad, un compromiso enorme como guías, como formadores, siempre bajo el respeto, la comprensión y la disciplina con amor. Esta es una de las frases que como madre siempre me repetía y me repito todavía porque es válida para los sobrinos también, disciplina con amor, de esta manera, es posible llevar una relación familiar respetuosa y feliz.
Among the parts of the deal is Katie's request to go to a concert with her friends and not as Allison wants it to be with her because she knows the risks her little girl might take at such an event.
Well, the kids earn their Today Yes day and the action begins. The family dives into the planning the kids have done and experience a fun-filled, competitive and exciting part of the day until it is interrupted by an incident between Allison and Katie.
From here everything spirals out of control, but I won't tell more so as not to make spoilers and let you live the movie and enjoy it. In the end reconciliation and understanding mitigates the family's problems and opens up the possibility of making things better.
Definitely, as parents we have a great responsibility, a huge commitment as guides, as trainers, always under respect, understanding and discipline with love. This is one of the phrases that as a mother I always repeated to myself and I still repeat to myself because it is valid for the nephews and nieces as well, discipline with love, in this way, it is possible to have a respectful and happy family relationship.
Me gustó mucho la película, la vi con mi esposo y mi hija, pasamos un rato agradable, compartiendo un momento de risas y diversión, este es otro género que nos gusta disfrutar juntos.
Si quieren olvidarse un rato del virus y de todo lo que vivimos en nuestro día a día, les cuento que esta es una buena película para desconectarse y hacer un poco de risoterapia. Así que la recomiendo.
I really liked the movie, I saw it with my husband and my daughter, we had a nice time, sharing a moment of laughter and fun, this is another genre that we like to enjoy together.
If you want to forget for a while the virus and everything we live in our day to day, I tell you that this is a good movie to disconnect and do some laughter therapy. So I recommend it
