Reseña| Mis impresiones sobre la serie Pálpito (SPA-ENG)

Saludos, mis queridos amigos cinéfilos. Espero que todos se encuentren disfrutando de mucha salud y bienestar. Hoy, quiero compartir en esta comunidad, mis impresiones con respecto a la serie colombiana Pálpito que se estrenó en Netflix, el pasado mes de abril y cuyo director es el venezolano Leonardo Padrón.

Saber que a un coterráneo como Leonardo Padrón que vive fuera del país, se le abren las puertas de grandes oportunidades es una alegría muy grande, como venezolana, la emoción y la curiosidad me embargaban para conocer de qué iba esta serie anunciada por Netflix, la plataforma de streaming más popular del mundo.

Tenía muchas expectativas, conociendo la pluma de este escritor venezolano y no puedo negar que en la serie se puede ver el magistral uso de la palabra al que nos tiene acostumbrados Leonardo Padrón, quien además, para mí, es un señor poeta.

Greetings, my dear cinephile friends. I hope you are all enjoying good health and well-being. Today, I want to share in this community, my impressions regarding the Colombian series Pálpito that premiered on Netflix, last April and whose director is the Venezuelan Leonardo Padrón.

To know that a fellow countryman like Leonardo Padrón, who lives outside the country, has the doors of great opportunities opened for him is a great joy, as a Venezuelan, the excitement and curiosity overwhelmed me to know what this series announced by Netflix, the most popular streaming platform in the world, was about.

I had high expectations, knowing the pen of this Venezuelan writer and I can not deny that in the series you can see the masterful use of the word to which we are accustomed Leonardo Padrón, who also, for me, is a gentleman poet.

Pálpito es una historia de amor que traspasa las fronteras de la realidad, a mí parecer, pues nos cuenta, estoy tratando de no hacer spoiler, sobre la posibilidad de amar más allá de lo que creemos posible.

La serie comienza mostrándonos la felicidad que vive la pareja protagonizada por Michel Brown como Simón Duque y Margarita Muñoz Parra como Valeria Duque, quienes conformaban un matrimonio feliz al lado de sus dos hijos. Pero como la felicidad no es redonda, frase esta que pronuncia Valeria, como anticipándose a lo que sería su destino, a ella la secuestran y la asesinan para sacarle el corazón.

A partir de aquí, la historia comienza a contar otras páginas en las que aparecen Ana Lucía Domínguez como Camila y Sebastián Martínez como Zacarías. Ella necesita un corazón para sobrevivir y él no quiere perder a su amada esposa. Así que hace hasta lo que no debe por salvarle la vida.

En algunas ocasiones, la serie es muy predecible, lo cual hace que se torne más como una novela rosa en la que se da más de lo mismo, comparándola con las novelas que se veían en los tiempos en los que hacía televisión en Venezuela, aunque no puedo decir que conozca mucho porque nunca fui novelera.

Pálpito is a love story that goes beyond the boundaries of reality, in my opinion, because it tells us, I'm trying not to make spoilers, about the possibility of loving beyond what we think is possible.

The series begins by showing us the happiness experienced by the couple starring Michel Brown as Simón Duque and Margarita Muñoz Parra as Valeria Duque, who made up a happy marriage with their two children. But as happiness is not round, a phrase uttered by Valeria, as if anticipating what would be her fate, she is kidnapped and murdered to take out her heart.

From here, the story begins to tell other pages in which Ana Lucía Domínguez appears as Camila and Sebastián Martínez as Zacarías. She needs a heart to survive and he doesn't want to lose his beloved wife. So he even does what he shouldn't to save her life.

At times, the series is very predictable, which makes it become more like a soap opera with more of the same, comparing it to the soap operas that were seen in the times when I used to make television in Venezuela, although I can't say I know much because I was never a soap opera fan.

En líneas generales, me gustó la serie, consigue mantener la tensión en el drama que se percibe, la actuación de Michel Brown me parece la más acertada de todas, pues caracteriza el sufrimiento de esposo al punto de hacerme sentir el dolor por el que está pasando al perder a su amor, aunque su personaje resulta ser vengativo y se mete, como quien dice, en camisa de once varas, lo cual me resulta increíble por el medio y la gente con la que se involucra. Nadie, en la vida real podría salir ileso de ahí.

Otra de las cosas que llamaron mi atención en la serie fue la fotografía de unos hermosos paisajes bogotanos en los que se muestra la ciudad en todo su esplendor, con grandes edificios, el tráfico, la vida en movimiento en una ciudad, esto lo disfruté mucho porque fue una ventana para ver con antelación lo que me iba a encontrar a mi llegada a esta hermosa ciudad que me atrapó desde el primer día.

La serie, en esta primera temporada, nos permite hacer una reflexión acerca de qué seríamos capaces de hacer por amor, qué es lo correcto y qué no. ¿Es fácil perdonar una mala acción que busca su justificación en el amor? ¿Se puede justificar una venganza por amor? Habría que estar en una situación extrema para saber cómo vamos a reaccionar, creo que a veces estas cosas no se pueden premeditar, se accionan y luego aparece la conciencia, en aquellos que la tienen limpia todavía.

Estoy a la espera de la segunda temporada a ver cómo termina esta historia en la que un corazón palpitando de amor es el protagonista.

Overall, I liked the series, it manages to maintain the tension in the drama that is perceived, the performance of Michel Brown seems to me the most successful of all, as it characterizes the suffering of husband to the point of making me feel the pain he is going through by losing his love, although his character turns out to be vindictive and gets, as they say, in the middle, which is incredible to me by the environment and the people with whom he gets involved. No one, in real life could get out of it unscathed.

Another thing that caught my attention in the series was the photography of beautiful Bogota landscapes in which the city is shown in all its splendor, with large buildings, traffic, life in motion in a city, I enjoyed this very much because it was a window to see in advance what I was going to find on my arrival to this beautiful city that caught me from the first day.

The series, in this first season, allows us to make a reflection about what we would be able to do for love, what is the right thing to do and what is not. Is it easy to forgive a bad action that seeks its justification in love? Is it possible to justify a revenge for love? You would have to be in an extreme situation to know how we are going to react, I think that sometimes these things cannot be premeditated, they are acted upon and then the conscience appears, in those who still have a clear conscience.

I am waiting for the second season to see how this story ends in which a heart beating with love is the protagonist.
