 and I must say that I liked it quite a bit. It managed to grab me, which hasn't happened to me with a movie for a long time, and even though it lasted 2 hours (quite a long time for me that after 40 minutes I have to stop and walk around), it kept me seated and expectant the whole time.
The story reminded me a lot of the health crisis that was experienced in the world between 2019 and 2022 and that is still echoing, and this production has its focus on a virus created and intentionally released on a plane to end the lives of all passengers.

Emergencia en el aire: una película atrapante que va de las posibilidades a extremos poco creíbles
Hola mis amigos de Movies & TV Shows, estoy por aquí una vez más para comentarles sobre una película que vi hace muy poquito y que de hecho es bastante nueva en la plataforma de Netflix, se trata de Emergencia en el aire.
Y es que finalmente llegué a ver una película coreana (de Corea del Sur) y debo decir que me gustó bastante. Logró atraparme, lo cual hace bastante que no me pasaba con una película, y aunque duraba 2 horas (un tiempo bastante prolongado para mi que a los 40 minutos ya me tengo que parar a dar alguna vuelta), me tuvo sentada y expectante todo el tiempo.
La historia me hizo acordar mucho a la crisis sanitaria que se vivió en el mundo entre el 2019 y 2022 y que aún está teniendo eco, y es que esta producción tiene su foco en un virus creado e intencionalmente soltado en un avión para terminar con la vida de todos los pasajeros.
The story begins at an airport where a father and daughter are about to board a plane to Hawaii from Seoul, the capital of Korea. At the same time, a boy, Ryu, asks which plane is the most crowded with passengers to board, and bumps into this father and daughter, who find him putting something in his armpit in one of the bathrooms.
All the passengers board the plane and begin their journey in an extremely calm manner, although on the aircraft, this father and the little girl run into Ryu again, who somehow annoys and makes the girl uncomfortable.
It quickly becomes clear in the film what it will be about, and that is that Ryu was totally determined to release a deadly and rapidly incubating virus by spreading it with a device similar to a bronchodilator in the airplane's bathroom. This would lead to all the passengers and crew becoming infected and the plane, out of control, crashing somewhere in the world with all the people inside dead.
The fact is that after the death of the first passenger, an investigation begins at the Seoul base, and during the flight, they manage to determine what is happening.
Meanwhile, the flight is losing passengers and crew, bringing the situation to the brink, so much so that the father of the little girl, Jae-hyuk, who is a former pilot, must take command of the ship.
They try to land in different cities, declaring an emergency, but neither the United States at its Hawaii airport nor Japan at Narita airport will let them.
La historia comienza en un aeropuerto en el que un padre y su hija están a punto de tomar un avión hacia Hawai, desde Seúl, la capital de Corea. Paralelamente, un chico, Ryu, pregunta cuál es el avión más repleto de pasajeros para abordar, y se topa con este padre y la hija, que lo encuentran colocándose algo en la axila en uno de los baños.
Todos los pasajeros abordan el avión e inician su viaje de manera sumamente tranquila, aunque en la aeronave, este padre y la pequeña se topan nuevamente con Ryu, quien de alguna manera molesta y pone incómoda a la niña.
Rápidamente se deja ver en la película de qué irá la cosa, y es que Ryu estaba totalmente decidido a soltar un virus mortal y de rápida incubación esparciéndolo con un artefacto similar a un broncodilatador en el baño del avión. Esto llevaría a que todos los pasajeros y tripulación se contagiaran y el avión, fuera de control, se estrellara en algún lugar del mundo con todas las personas en su interior muertas.
El hecho es que tras el fallecimiento del primer pasajero, se inicia una investigación en la base de Seúl, y en lo que tarda el vuelo, logran determinar qué es lo que está ocurriendo.
Mientras tanto, el vuelo va perdiendo a pasajeros y tripulantes, llevando al borde la situación, tanto que el padre de la pequeña, Jae-hyuk, quien es ex piloto, debe tomar el mando de la nave.
Intentan aterrizar en diferentes ciudades, declarando emergencia, pero ni Estados Unidos en su aeropuerto de Hawai ni Japón en el de Narita, los dejan.
The movie, by Han Jae-Rim is very good in my opinion, but the only thing I would change is that several scenes are overdone in effects and consequences. I think that if they had been a little more moderate with that, they would have given the production a very intense touch of realism, taking into account that the world went through something similar, but not in an airplane.
However, I really liked numerous shots in the film, where there are macro shots, original effects and aerial photographs that catch the eye when watching the film. There are productions that are monotonous and linear in their images, this one is the opposite.
La película, de Han Jae-Rim, es muy buena a mi parecer, pero lo único que cambiaría es que varias escenas se exceden en efectos y en consecuencias. Creo que si hubiesen sido un poco más moderados con eso, le hubiesen dado a la producción un toque de realismo muy intenso, teniendo en cuenta que el mundo atravesó por algo similar, pero no en un avión.
Sin embargo, me gustaron mucho numerosas tomas de la película, en donde hay capturas macro, efectos originales y fotografías aéreas que llaman la atención cuando uno ve la película. Hay producciones que son monótonas y lineales en sus imágenes, pues esta es todo lo contrario.
