The Plot

As is typical in cases of bereavement, Lizzie, our protagonist, sees her life stuck between the pain of loss and overcoming it. She loses her marriage, has many problems at work due to lack of concentration in her work and her consecutive absences, her relationship with her son is very deteriorated since she does not pay attention to the child because she is sad and lost in her grief. Lizzie also feels let down by her parents as they do not support her in her theory that her daughter is alive and in her plans to get her back.

La trama

Como es típico en los casos de duelo, Lizzie nuestra protagonista, ve con su su vida se encuentra estancada entre dolor de la perdida y la superación. Pierde su matrimonio, tiene muchos problemas en su trabajo por no tener concentración en sus labores y sus ausencias consecutivas, la relación con su hijo está muy deteriorada ya que ella no le presta atención al niño por estar triste y perdida entre su dolor. También Lizzie se siente defraudada por sus padres ya que no la apoyan en su teoría de que su hija está viva y en sus planes de recuperarla.

My personal opinion

The movie keeps the suspense all the way to the end. Every moment that passes you have to choose a side to be on whether to be for Lizzie or against her because she is crazy. 😅 Personally I switched sides a couple of times but finally I was able to be surprised with the ending and the turn the movie takes. Very pleased I was with the denouement and all the situations that are brought up in the plot. I could tell that it shows a human side with real situations of a woman who has her needs and fights for what she believes in.

If we look for the review of the film, in Filmaffinity it has a score of 5.3 which seems to me a little low since the film has very good actors, an excellent plot and a surprising denouement, so I would give it a 7.9 and I strongly recommend you to see it since you will not regret it.

Mi opinión personal

La película mantiene el suspenso hasta el final. Cada momento que pasa debes escoger un lado del cual estar si a favor de Lizzie o en su contra porque ella está loca. 😅 En lo personal cambié de lado un par de veces pero finalmente pude quedar sorprendida con el final y con el giro que toma la película. Muy complacida quedé con el desenlace y con todas las situaciones que se plantean en la trama. Pude notar que se muestra un lado humano con situaciones reales de una mujer que tiene sus necesidades y lucha por lo que cree.

Si buscamos la reseña de la película, en Filmaffinity tiene una puntuación de 5.3 lo que me parece un poco bajo ya que la película tiene muy buenos actores, una trama excelente y un desenlace sorprendente, por lo que le daría un 7.9 y les recomiendo firmemente verla ya que no se van a arrepentir.
