I thought I was the only one who indoctrinated my son with music and movies of those 80's and 90's that were excellent, but I have been surprised to see that it is a very common practice, as music from those years sounds like soundtrack of movies and series, reaching even social networks to be parts of reels or tik toks. We see people between 30 and 40 years old enjoying more polished editions of those programs that were their passion in their childhood and youth.
For those who are skeptical about what I' m writing, a recent proof is the release of movies like Top Gun, although it is a kind of continuation of the first movie, its story began in 1986, keeping close relationship with the time. Another great example is live action, we have enjoyed several in recent years mainly from the hand of Disney, with the entire Marvel universe, including several films of their princesses, the most recent to be announced is Snow White, although the original is from 1938 is another example of how the past is revived.
Pensé que era el único que adoctrinaba a mi hijo con música y películas de aquellos años 80 y 90 que fueron excelente, pero me he sorprendido al ver que es una práctica muy común, como música de aquellos años suena como soundtrack de películas y series, alcanzando incluso las redes sociales para ser partes de reels o tik toks. Las remasterizaciones son el día a día, vemos personas entre 30 y 40 años disfrutar de ediciones mas pulidas de aquellos programas que fueron su pasión en su niñez y juventud. Para quien este escéptico sobre lo que escribo, una prueba reciente son el estreno de películas como Top Gun, aunque es una especie de continuación de la primera película, su historia inicio en 1986, guardando estrecha relación con la época. Otro gran ejemplo son los live action, hemos disfrutado de varios en los últimos años principalmente de la mano de Disney, con todo el universo Marvel, incluso varias películas de sus princesas, la más reciente en ser anunciada es Blanca nieves, aunque la original sea de 1938 es otro ejemplo de como se revive lo pasado.
Chip and Dale is part of this movement, but surprisingly it is a film that unlike others that have been remastered or taken as the basis for a new story, that was not made to attract the attention of young audiences, it seems more of a criticism or satire for the animated film industry, which has gradually become a monopoly in the hands of a few.
I think that perhaps this film could have as its main theme the life cycle of an artist or character, something contradictory to what I wrote in the beginning, as the old is returning to the cinema, however, not all characters or films are remastered or taken as a basis for new content. At what point does a character become a "classic" or part of "the old school" and only remains for the memory on occasions where it is taken as a comparative measure with new programming, as part of a conversation where we say: in my time they made better programs or movies.
Llegará el día en que todo éxito de la televisión y el cine del pasado cuente con programación moderna, Chip and Dale es parte de este movimiento, pero sorprendentemente es una película que a diferencia de otras que han sido remasterizadas o tomadas como base para una nueva historia, que no fue hecha para llamar la atención del público joven, parece mas una critica o sátira para la industria de las películas animadas, que poco a poco se ha convertido en un monopolio en manos de unos pocos. Pienso que quizás esta película podría tener como tema principal el ciclo de vida de un artista o personaje, algo contradictorio con lo que escribía la principio, como lo antiguo esta volviendo al cine, sin embargo, no todos los personaje o películas son remasterizadas o tomadas como base para nuevo contenido. En que momento un personaje pasa a ser un “clásico” o parte de “la vieja escuela” y solo queda para el recuerdo en las ocasiones donde se toma como medida comparativa con nueva programación, como parte de una conversación donde decimos: en mis tiempo se hacía mejores programas o películas.
What it's all about
Chip 'n Dale are not modern Disney characters, like many others, they were creations of Walt Disney in the early 1940s and evolved into what we know today. At first they only appeared in other animated films as a pair of mischievous squirrels unable to communicate, and then evolved into the "Rescue Rangers" in the early 90's with their own animated series, being part of a team that faces villains, protecting the interests of other animals.

La película esta cargada de cameos chistosos, que toma como base muchos personajes animados que fueron famosos en otros tiempos, pero los personajes involucrados no solo pertenecen a Disney, podemos ver de otras compañías que incluso son competencia como DreamWorks y Nickelodeon. Uno de los más populares y favoritos de los fans fue la aparición del “Sonic feo”, quizás algunos recuerden la polémica que se desato alrededor de este personaje por su aspecto, que no tenia parecido con el de los juegos, lo que obligo a Paramount Animation reprogramar el estreno de la película mientras se modificaba al personaje.

Son muchos otros cameos que hay, realmente demasiados así que deben ver la película para disfrutar mientras los descubren, aunque muchos pueden pasar desapercibidos, sin embargo, las personas se han dado a la tarea de repetir la película varias veces e ir extrayendo cada uno hasta inundar las redes con este contenido. Personalmente tengo mis favoritos, el más obvio y visible es Peter Pan como el villano de la película, les quedo genial la idea, un personaje olvidado por Disney que para mantenerse en el negocio decidió hacerse malo, secuestrando otros dibujos animados y venderlos o sus partes en el mercado negro para la piratería.

Hay una escena donde vez partes “corporales” de muchos personajes animados que no necesariamente son de Disney, estas partes son retiradas de personajes que fueron secuestrados y son vendidas en el mercado negro de producción de películas animadas piratas. Gracias a la bondad del streaming pude retroceder esta parte y detenidamente identificar varias cosas, por ejemplo: el cabello de Jimmy Newtron, la sonrisa del gato de Alicia en el país de las Maravillas, la boca de la Pantera Rosa, El sombrero de un Pitufo, entre otros.

Mucho se ha especulado con el mensaje que desea transmitir esta película, la verdad no se si será una crítica para Hollywood como una maquina despiadada de producción de películas animadas, que olvida los personajes que crea cuando ya no le son útiles y dejan de producir dinero, pasando al olvido para rápidamente estrenar una nueva película, debido a la alta demanda y consumo de este tipo de contenido. Quizás sea una simple comedia cargada de todos estos detalles que traen al recuerdo tales personajes con el propósito de crear polémica, porque algo si tengo claro, que esto esta todo planificado.
