En ocasiones no nos damos cuenta que la edad no nos limita, es solo eso, años de experiencia, de vida y vivencias pero no está en discusión que el tiempo no pasa en vano por supuesto que vamos perdiendo algo, juventud. Eso puedo ocurrir tanto como personalmente como cuando hablamos de un artista o banda musical. Es un hecho que el tiempo suele marchitar la intensidad de muchas bandas buscando otras raíces quizás buscando algún sonido más nuevo y cómodo para sus nuevas capacidades y eso no está mal, es totalmente aceptable lo increíble es ver bandas que aun después de 30 años sigan aportando energía, calidad y buena música al espectáculo mundial.
Sometimes we don’t realize that age doesn’t limit us—it’s just that: years of experience, of life, and of experiences. But there’s no question that time doesn’t pass in vain; of course, we lose something our youth. That can happen both on a personal level and when we’re talking about an artist or a band. It’s a fact that time tends to diminish the intensity of many bands as they explore other influences perhaps seeking a newer, more comfortable sound that suits their evolving abilities and there’s nothing wrong with that; it’s perfectly acceptable. What’s truly incredible is seeing bands that, even after 30 years, continue to bring energy, quality, and great music to the global music scene.
La anécdota que hoy les contaré ya muchos la conoces, ¿recuerdan aquella vez que les comenté que mi mamá en un viaje a la capital del país me trajo de regreso un regalo y que el mismo fue un CD de Armando Manzanero? Bueno para lo que no lo sabían, sí, en plena fama de Korn, Marylin Manson, Limp Bizkit y otras, ella me trajo fue un CD de los clásicos de Armando Manzanero. Si amigo, pueden reír conmigo ja ja ja… Por supuesto que como cualquier adolescente de los 90s fui un fanático de Marylin Manson de sus canciones, de su historia, de sus riffs aplastantes y su ritmo inconfundible desde la primera vez que lo escuché.
Many of you already know the story I’m going to tell you today. Do you remember that time I mentioned that my mom brought me back a gift from a trip to the country’s capital, and that it was a CD by Armando Manzanero? Well, for those of you who didn’t know, yes at the height of the popularity of Korn, Marilyn Manson, Limp Bizkit, and others she brought me a CD of Armando Manzanero’s classics. Yeah, friends, you can laugh with me, ha ha ha… Of course, like any teenager in the ’90s, I was a huge fan of Marilyn Manson his songs, his story, his crushing riffs, and his unmistakable rhythm from the very first time I heard him.
Mi fascinación por su propuesta llegó a tal punto que para mi cumpleaños número 20 mis padres aun cuando me regañaban por la forma de vestir o por la música que solía colocar en mi habitación, ellos tomaron una de las decisiones más linda que recuerdo. Me regalaron lo que para el momento era la discografía completa en físico de Marilyn Manson. Un regalo inolvidable que llevaba a cualquier lugar. Ya saben, tener una discografía en esos momentos era una excusa perfecta para reunirnos a tomarnos unas cervezas y escuchar a Marilyn Manson en el reproductor una y otra vez. Por eso ver que después de más de tres décadas el artista sigue entregando música tan genial y con esa misma fuerza y madurez, me parece sencillamente fantástico.
My fascination with his music reached such a point that for my 20th birthday even though my parents used to scold me for the way I dressed or the music I played in my room they made one of the sweetest decisions I can remember. They gave me what was, at the time, Marilyn Manson’s complete discography on physical media. An unforgettable gift that I took with me everywhere. You know, having a complete discography back then was the perfect excuse to get together, have a few beers, and listen to Marilyn Manson on the stereo over and over again. That’s why seeing that, after more than three decades, the artist continues to deliver such great music with the same intensity and maturity strikes me as simply fantastic

Su sonido actual combina la nostalgia de la era noventera con una producción madura y contundente así que para este TTT compartiré tres canciones recientes de sus más recientes trabajos y para quienes conocen el trabajo de la banda, notarán que su música ha llegado a un nivel aún mayor que el que conocemos. Estos son sus trabajos más recientes dos de ellos del Album One Assassination Under God – Chapter 1 que fue lanzado al mercado en 2024 y con un nuevo lanzamiento del mismo Álbum pero en su segundo capitulo con Front Toward Enemy . En fin, es solo mi humilde opinión, juzguen ustedes después de escuchar. Escuchemos amantes del rock….
Marilyn Manson proves that his ability to reinvent himself and deliver visceral tracks remains intact. His current sound combines the nostalgia of the ’90s with a mature and powerful production, so for this TTT I’ll share three recent songs from his latest releases, and for those familiar with the band’s work, you’ll notice that their music has reached an even higher level than what we’re used to. These are their most recent releases two of them from the album One Assassination Under God – Chapter 1, which was released in 2024, and a new release of the same album but featuring its second chapter, *Front Toward Enemy *. Anyway, this is just my humble opinion; judge for yourselves after listening. Let’s listen, rock lovers…
