In my post I want to talk especially about Charles Xavier, better known as Professor X, he is the mutant who has the most powerful mind in the world whose telepathy knows almost no limits.

Professor X is a telepathic mutant, whose mind is capable of controlling others and doing what he wants, it always seemed to me the most fascinating mutant power, this when I saw the cartoons in my childhood, but when I understand the movies and the mutant drama This super power caught my attention, which I consider to be one of the most horrible that can exist. Charles's adventures begin in First Class, when he meets Mystic, the shapeshifting mutant and also Magneto in his youth, they manage to team up under the tutelage of the CIA to capture a dangerous mutant named Sebastan Shaw, he is pursued by Magneto and that he is to blame for his mother's death and is now looking for him tirelessly.

El profesor X es un mutante telépata, cuya mente es capaz de controlar a otras y hacer lo que el quiere, siempre me pareció el poder mutante más facinante, esto cuando veía las caricaturas en mi infancia, pero al entender las películas y el drama mutante me llamó más la atención este super poder, que lo considero uno de los más horribles que pueden existir. Las aventuras de Charles comienzan en Firts Class, cuando conoce a Mystic, la mutante metamorfo y tambien a Magneto en su juventud, logran hacer equipo bajo la tutela de la CIA para poder capturar a un peligroso mutante llamado Sebastan Shaw, es perseguido por Magneto ya que es el culpable de la muerte de su madre y ahora lo busca incansablemente.

I did not understand this position of the Professor, if he could read minds, it was easy to conclude that human beings were afraid of mutants and that they would always attack them, Magneto, on the other hand, was a survivor of the Nazi holocaust, he had the experience of the hatred of humanity so it was different and he blindly believed that a genocide would happen again so they take different paths. But one of the great revelations about the powers of Professor Xavier I was able to understand in these first years, in this way I became more interested in the character.

Pero una de las grandes revelaciones acerca de los poderes del profesor Xavier pude entenderla en estos primero años, de esta manera me interesé más en el personaje.

At first I didn't understand why Charles cried and thanked him, but I could understand that Charles's power to read minds also makes him have a very high level of empathy. Empathy is a manifestation of the character of people that allows them to put themselves in the place of others, when Charles reads people's minds, he not only does it like someone reading a book, but he puts himself in people's shoes until feel like them all their passions and sufferings. This is the secret of Xavier's power, and it's also the reason why he believes in humanity and is optimistic about coexistence, but this power also has a dark and horrible quality.
Uno de los momentos más maravillos que se ha visto en las películas es cuando estan en la mansión de Xavier entrenando para controlar sus poderes, Charles le dice a Magneto que el puede dar más, que su potencial está más alla de su imaginación, pero él replica que necesita la ira para poder despertar su poder con más fuerza. In doing so, Charles takes the opportunity to paralyze Sebastian Shaw and get into his mind, at that moment Magneto kills Shaw by inserting a coin through his skull, the scene is great because Charles feels the pain firsthand when he is in Sebastian Shaw's mind , the scene passes slowly and it can be seen how Charles dies mentally along with Sebastian shaw, up to that point it is the level of empathy that the Professor has and that connects him with people in all their aspects, when entering the minds he also knows the fears and traumas of people and must carry that terrible emotional weight, that condition in the comics makes evil personalities arise from their own mind and do evil.
El segundo momento cumbre para mi tiene que ver tambien con Magneto y con el villano Sebastian Shaw, este poseía un casco que lo hacía inmune al control mental, pero Magneto se las arregla para quitarselo y ponérselo él. Al hacerlo Charles aprovecha para paralizar a Sebastian Shaw y meterse en su mente, en ese instante Magneto asesina a Shaw introduciéndole una moneda a través del cráneo, la escena es genial porque Charles siente el dolor en carne propia al estar en la mente de Sebastian Shaw, la escena transcurre lentamente y puede notarse como Charles muere mentalmente junto con Sebastian shaw, hasta ese punto es el nivel de empatía que tiene el Profesor y quele conecta con las personas en todos sus aspectos, al entrar en las mentes el tambien conoce los miedos y traumas de las personas y debe cargar con ese terrible peso emocional, esa condición en los cómics hace que surjan personalidades malignas desde su propia mente y hagan el mal.

Y el momento más cumbre y aterrador del poder mutante del Profesor X ocurre en su batalla contra el villano Apocalipsis, uno de los más poderosos que existe, tienen una batalla mental donde se atacan utilizando poderes psíquicos. El profesor ataca al mutante poniendo sus manos sobre la cabeza de Apocalipsis y le dice: "Quieres mi poder? entonces siente mi dolor" Y en ese instante Apocalipsis es invadido por millones de voces sufrientes que el Profesor escucha cada segundo, Apocalipsis por momentos es aterrorizado por este ataque y pierde concentración en la lucha. Cuando presté más atención a este detalle la verdad me pareció algo horrible, ¿alguna vez te han contado un terrible secreto? Y sientes que el peso de ese secreto también te invade? es porque en ese momento alguien te da parte de su sufrimiento interior. Ahora imagina al Profesor conociendo todos los secretos mas espantosos y terribles de las personas, escuchar sus voces de tormentos días y noches enteras. Esa es la pare horrible del poder de Charles Xavier.

Sin embargo, con todo este poder Charles Xavier nunca pudo lograr su ansiada paz entre humanos y mutantes, todo su sacrificio termino con su vida y murió de una forma trágica. En Logan vemos como fueron sus últimos días, aislado porque sus poderes eran un peligro latente, sus facultades de control fueron desapareciendo y ya su mente no podía ser controlada como antes. Los X-Men fueron aniquilados por el mismo al ser incapaz de controlar sus poderes, y el resto de mutantes fue desapareciendo, todo esto terminó de darle la razón a Magneto. A pesar de todo el Profesor Charles con todo su sufrimiento siempre conservó la esperanza hasta el final, siempre apostó por el bien dentro de las personas a pesar de que sus caminos fueran torcidos.

Eso es lo que me gusta de este personaje, su tragedia me parece muy interesante al igual que la de Wolverine, el mutante inmortal que pierde seres queridos. El Profesor Xavier enseña un gran valor y siempre hacer el bien, el tuvo una gran ventaja y nunca la usó en su favor y siempre confió en que las personas pueden cambiar. En el universo de super héroes a mi parecer es uno de los personajes mejor construídos en las películas, por supuesto que es un actor principal, pero más alla de eso creo que tiene una gran representación como la lucha siempre por lo que es bueno y correcto a pesar de las dificultales. Estas películas han tenido problemas de continuidad y errores argumentales, pero más allá de eso, se puede comprender muy bien a los personajes y sus motivaciones.
