Hablemos del cast de esta película, con el papel protagónico tenemos a Daisy Edgar-Jones quien está en el papel de Noa, una chica que está algo cansada de su soltería y quiere conocer a gente pero le cuesta un poco hablar con las personas en físico así que decide entrar en una app para conseguir pareja, lo gracioso es que se consigue al que sería un hombre interesante y carismático en el supermercado, Steve interpretado por Sebastian Stan quien oculta un secreto muy grande sobre su peculiar gusto culinario.

Tenía está película en mi lista de películas por ver y un día que está aburrida decidí verla, al principio creía que era algo muy parecido a una rom-com pero después de unos cuantos minutos me di cuenta de cómo se iba torciendo la trama y en cada minutos me iba sintiendo más y más incómoda, fue dura de ver pero le sumo puntos a las partes divertidas de ella, como el baile que tuvieron Noa y Steve. Podría describirla como una crítica hacia la cultura moderna de las citas y los riesgos que ésta puede llegar a tener pero que no está tan presente la crítica hacia la tecnología sino que se enfoca más en el suspenso y crear la sensación de extrema incomodidad. Igualmente me encantó mucho el giro de la protagonista por continuar con vida intentando aparentar gustar de lo mismo que su extraña pareja.
I had this movie on my list of movies to watch and one day when I was bored I decided to watch it, at first I thought it was something very similar to a rom-com but after a few minutes I realized how the plot was twisting and every minute I was feeling more and more uncomfortable, it was hard to watch but I add points to the funny parts of it, like the dance that Noa and Steve had. I could describe it as a critique of modern dating culture and the risks it can take, but it's not so much a critique of technology as it is focused more on suspense and creating a sense of extreme discomfort. I also loved the twist of the protagonist to continue with life trying to pretend to like the same as her strange partner.
El nombre de la película juega también un papel importante dentro de la historia de la película y el hecho de que hayan dado toda una intro tan larga también tiene algo de mérito, podía esperar algo sobre la trama de esta película pero aún así el final me dejó completamente descolocada. Además, la actuación de Sebastian Stan fue impecable, un tipo aparentemente agradable, gracioso y guapo pero que podía llegar a transformarse en alguien completamente diferente y sin rastros de piedad, me dió otro punto de vista hacia sus otros trabajos como actor y fue refrescante verlo interpretando a alguien con estás características. Este tipo de películas donde tratan el tema de "personaje con gustos diferentes" siempre me ha llamado la atención pero cuando se trata de un tema como la comida me revuelve el estómago y me incómoda muchísimo, por ello el final fue bastante agradable y fue muy al estilo de good for her.
The name of the movie also plays an important role within the story of the movie and the fact that they gave a whole intro so long also has some merit, I could expect something about the plot of this movie but still the ending left me completely unsettled. Also, Sebastian Stan's performance was impeccable, a seemingly nice, funny and handsome guy but who could transform into someone completely different and without a trace of mercy, it gave me another point of view towards his other works as an actor and it was refreshing to see him playing someone with these characteristics. This kind of movies where they deal with the theme of "character with different tastes" has always caught my attention but when it comes to a subject like food it turns my stomach and makes me very uncomfortable, so the ending was quite nice and was very much in the style of good for her.
