Hablemos del cast de esta película, con un elenco bastante variado podemos encontrar a los actores principales a Margot Robbie interpretando una vez más a la icónica Harley Quinn con una personalidad y vestuario un poco más apegados a su imágen en los cómics, Idris Elba como Robert Dubois / Bloodsport un mercenario con un traje superavanzado que solo él puede usar, con un carácter fuerte y testarudo pero que a pesar de todo se une al equipo. John Cena como Christopher Smith / Peacemaker un soldado obsesionado con la paz, dispuesto a matar por ella, un personaje un poco tonto y muy obstinado, termina con una gran sorpresa. Joel Kinnaman como Rick Flag el líder de campo del Escuadrón Suicida. Este personaje en comparación con la primera película es un poco mas relajado, más ingenuo y un poco más divertido. Sylvester Stallone como la voz de Nanaue / King Shark un híbrido humano-pez devorador de hombres. Daniela Melchior como Cleo Cazo / Ratcatcher 2 una ladrona de bancos descrita quien heredó el apodo de "Ratcatcher" de su padre, que puede controlar ratas y comunicarse con ellas, y tiene una rata como mascota llamada Sebastian la cual siempre está en su hombro y se muestra feliz de ayudar. David Datsmalchian como Abner Krill / Polka-Dot Man un "experimento que salió mal" convertido en criminal con un traje cubierto de lunares que también lanza lunares se colores y puede desintegrar cosas con ellos, el personaje trágico de la película aunque no tuvo mucha participación igualmente se ganó el cariño de los espectadores.

Quiero destacar que no tengo conocimiento de los cómics y mucho menos de los que se inspiró James Gunn para esta cinta y hablo desde una perspectiva por fuera de el mundo de DC y sus cómics, hace unos años atrás pude ver la primera película de escuadrón suicida y a pesar de las críticas que tuvo puedo decir que la disfrute, fue entretenida y tuvo una buena cinematografía, buenos escenarios, buen soundtrack y además el vestuario fue bastante llamativo, me gustó bastante y fue, como siempre en las películas de superhéroes, una introducción a este peculiar equipo. En esta versión James Gunn quiso mantener a algunos personajes de la primera como para que se viera como una continuación pero con nuevos personajes en ella, nuevos escenarios y más producción en cuanto a efectos especiales y por supuesto cuenta con un buen soundtrack que es bastante significativo en las películas de este director. Bastante refrescante, te muestra cosas nuevas y te da otra idea de lo que es el escuadrón suicida, con personajes especiales como Nanaue quien me hizo encariñarme con su personaje, también me pasó con Ratcatcher 2 y con Polka-Dot man que, a pesar de que no fueran muy relevantes en la historia agregan sentimiento a la película, sentimientos de dolor, de tristeza y de miedo. Igualmente Harley Quinn haciendo sus excentricidades y mostrando sus habilidades nos da unas características más profundas.
I want to emphasize that I have no knowledge of the comics and much less of those who inspired James Gunn for this film and I speak from a perspective outside the world of DC and its comics, a few years ago I saw the first Suicide Squad movie and despite the criticism I can say that I enjoyed it, it was entertaining and had a good cinematography, good scenarios, good soundtrack and also the costumes were quite striking, I liked it a lot and it was, as always in superhero movies, an introduction to this peculiar team. In this version James Gunn wanted to keep some characters from the first one to make it look like a continuation but with new characters in it, new scenarios and more production in terms of special effects and of course has a good soundtrack that is quite significant in the films of this director. Quite refreshing, it shows you new things and gives you another idea of what the suicide squad is, with special characters like Nanaue who made me get attached to her character, it also happened to me with Ratcatcher 2 and with Polka-Dot man who, even though they were not very relevant in the story add feeling to the movie, feelings of pain, sadness and fear. Likewise Harley Quinn doing her eccentricities and showing her abilities gives us some deeper characteristics.
Los efectos especiales son su especialidad y con esto me destaco ya que nos sorprende con múltiples efectos, tanto en los escenarios como en los personajes, el efecto de Ratcatcher de poder reunir y manipular a las ratas, los puntos que salen en Polka-Dot Man que debe deshacerse de ellos ya que podrían matarlo, el traje de Bloodsport con su novedosas armas y por supuesto el alienígena llamado Starro que nos deslumbra con sus llamativos colores y formas además de sus habilidades. La recomiendo mucho ya que me lleve una agradable sorpresa al verla, me gustó mucho y es bastante entretenida de ver y al igual que la primera es rápida y no se vuelve tediosa de ver.
