Hola amantes del cine y la televisión en hive, hoy les traigo mi opinión sobre ésta serie y de la cual acabo de terminar su primera temporada (no puedo esperar para ver la segunda temporada) y ésta se inspira en una de las cosas más conocidas por el mundo solo que con un pequeño giro en la trama, la religión y todos sus secretos, sin embargo nos adentraremos a la tierra la cual es habitada por un muy peculiar vendedor de libros, quien es un ángel, y su peculiar compañero, un demonio, ambos se verán a prueba con una gran misión, empezar o evitar el armagedón traído por el mismísimo anticristo, sin más que decir espero les guste y los invito a leerme! 🎬✨
Hello movie and TV lovers in hive, today I bring you my opinion about this series and of which I just finished its first season (can't wait to see the second season) and this one is inspired by one of the most known things in the world only with a little twist in the plot, religion and all its secrets, however we will enter the earth which is inhabited by a very peculiar book seller, who is an angel, and his peculiar companion, a demon, both will be tested with a great mission, start or avoid the armageddon brought by the antichrist himself, without more to say I hope you like it and I invite you to read me! 🎬✨

Vamos a hablar primero del cast de esta serie, con los papeles protagónicos está Michael Sheen quien interpreta al ángel Azirafel quien es enviado a la tierra para supervisarla, David Tennant interpreta al demonio Crowley quien ha pasado el mismo tiempo en la tierra que Azirafel y que al pasar el tiempo se convierten en una especie de aliados para ciertos trabajos, Anna Maxwell Martin quien interpreta a Belcebú quien es líder de las fuerzas del infierno, Jon Hamm interpreta al arcángel Gabriel el cual es, en este caso, líder de las fuerzas del cielo. También contamos con las actuaciones de Adria Arjona como Anathema Device una joven bruja la cuál más adelante se involucrara con el angel y el demonio, Jack Whitehall interpreta a Newton Pulsifer, un descendiente del cazador de brujas y Sam Taylor Buck el cual es el anticristo enviado a la tierra para comenzar el armagedón y por consiguiente la guerra entre el cielo y el infierno.
Un cast lleno de muchísimo talento de todas las edades en donde se reunen para el inicio del fin del mundo y a su vez para intentar detenerlo, con diferentes historias y vidas pero que con un mismo acontecimiento en común los hará unirse.
Let's talk first about the cast of this series, with the leading roles is Michael Sheen who plays the angel Aziraphale who is sent to earth to supervise it, David Tennant plays the demon Crowley who has spent the same time on earth as Aziraphel and as time goes by they become sort of allies for certain jobs, Anna Maxwell Martin who plays Beelzebub who is leader of the forces of hell, Jon Hamm plays the archangel Gabriel who is, in this case, leader of the forces of heaven. We also have the performances of Adria Arjona as Anathema Device a young witch who later becomes involved with the angel and the devil, Jack Whitehall plays Newton Pulsifer, a descendant of the witch hunter and Sam Taylor Buck which is the antichrist sent to earth to start the armageddon and therefore the war between heaven and hell.
A cast full of a lot of talent of all ages where they gather for the beginning of the end of the world and in turn to try to stop it, with different stories and lives but with the same common event that will unite them.
Ésta serie de televisión británica de género fantasía cómica transmitida en a través de la plataforma de streaming Prime Video se estrenó el 31 de mayo del 2019 y fue creada por el escritor Neil Gaiman y está basada en la novela del mismo nombre escrita por Neil Gaiman y Terry Pratchett, cuenta con dos temporadas de 6 episodios cada una y estos episodios varían desde 50 minutos a 1 hora de duración. A lo largo de la primera tempora nos explican el inicio de la existencia, Adan y Eva, el arca de Noé, la crucifixión de Jesucristo, entre otros eventos sin embargo podemos igualmente ver la unión peculiar entre un ángel y un demonio, los cuales realizan algunos milagros o desgracias como actividad en la tierra y esto hace que en ciertas ocasiones se ayuden entre si evitando ser descubiertos por tanto el cielo como el infierno, hasta que un día es entregado a Crowley el anticristo que comenzará el fin del mundo y su deber será corromperlo para que éste luego pueda empezar la destrucción del mundo sin embargo Crowley, siendo un demonio un tanto separado de su bando decide pedir la ayuda de Azirafel para que ambos cuiden del niño y hacer que crezca de la manera más normal posible y aunque esto fue realizado exitosamente se dan cuenta de que su anticristo no es el niño que creían que era y ahora comenzarán una búsqueda para dar con el paradero de el y evitar que desee la destrucción del mundo.

El demonio Crowley quien se ve que no acepta ciertas cosas del infierno y el ángel Azirafel el cual es un alma bondadosa deciden hacer una especie de alianza, ambos se encuentran en distintas eras y épocas en la tierra en situaciones diferentes, algunas donde necesitan la ayuda del otro y en otras solamente buscando el consuelo de un buen amigo esto hará que se contacten luego de muchos años para hablar sobre el hijo de satanás, el hijo que empezará el fin del mundo, ambos decidiendo que cuidarán del niño y le inculcaran ideales de acuerdo a sus bandos harán que el niño crezca como una persona normal pero cuando el infierno decide mandar a la tierra a la bestia que acompañará al anticristo y el ángel y el demonio se dan cuenta de que nunca llega caen en cuenta de que están con el niño equivocado y deben investigar donde se encuentra el verdadero anticristo. Mientras el ángel y el demonio están en ello conocemos la historia y un poco de la vida de el niño Adán Young, el verdadero anticristo, el cual se ve que vive una vida simple y buena, además conocemos a sus amigos y vemos que se topa con Anathema Device quien recientemente se acaba de mudar para poder resolver un misterio del libro de la bruja Agnes la chiflada, al mismo tiempo conocemos al joven Newton Pulsifer quien decide mudarse para poder conseguir un trabajo en el que por fin le vaya bien pero alguien lo ayuda a conocer más de su pasado y de sus antepasados.

Conocí esta serie por algunos vídeos de recomendaciones de series y cuando me enteré de que iba a salir la segunda temporada me contuve hasta que salieron todos los episodios y así comencé a verme la primera temporada, la historia me cautivo y me pareció llamativa y original, el origen de la vida, Dios, los angeles y los demonios siempre me pareció un tema llamativo además de la religión en general, igualmente los angeles y los demonios así que eso me motivo a verla con más ganas. Las diferentes personalidades que se ven a través de toda la serie son diferentes y frescas, el toque de comedia dentro de la serie hace que la historia se sienta menos pesada y no se sienten la duración ya que es atrapante. La relación entre Crowley y Azirafel es un tanto complicada pero bastante tierna, ambos enemigos se tratan de forma gentil y amable y su amistad es muy divertida, tiene mucha química y cada escena de ellos es tanto divertida como emocionante, la historia te genera intriga ya que plantean el fin del mundo y lo que ocurrirá haciendo que cada capítulo que pase nos sintamos más ansiosos por saber qué ocurrirá, vemos el cielo y el infierno cosa que solo podemos deducir en nuestra imaginación y la representación es divertida e innovadora ya que no es la forma convencional en la que nos imaginamos esos lugares. Amé esta serie, desde principio a fin fue un drama divertido y que poco a poco desenvolvían las problemáticas de la trama, la historia no se vuelve lenta ya que lo que nos muestran es el inicio de nuestros personajes, de sus historias y de sus vidas y esto brinda contexto y fortalece los lazos entre ellos.
I knew this series by some videos of series recommendations and when I found out that the second season was coming out I held back until all the episodes came out and so I started watching the first season, the story captivated me and I found it striking and original, the origin of life, God, angels and demons always seemed to me a striking theme in addition to religion in general, also the angels and demons so that motivated me to watch it more eagerly. The different personalities seen throughout the series are different and fresh, the touch of comedy within the series makes the story feel less heavy and you don't feel the length as it is gripping. The relationship between Crowley and Aziraphale is somewhat complicated but quite tender, both enemies treat each other in a gentle and kind way and their friendship is very funny, it has a lot of chemistry and every scene of them is both funny and exciting, the story generates intrigue as they pose the end of the world and what will happen making each chapter that passes we feel more anxious to know what will happen, we see heaven and hell thing we can only deduce in our imagination and the representation is fun and innovative as it is not the conventional way in which we imagine those places. I loved this series, from beginning to end it was a fun drama and little by little the problems of the plot unfolded, the story does not become slow because what we are shown is the beginning of our characters, their stories and their lives and this provides context and strengthens the bonds between them.
Después de ver la serie conseguí el libro en PDF y me encanta lo exacto y preciso que se muestra en la serie, los escenarios son espectaculares desde los más antiguos hasta los más actuales, la librería que cuida Azirafel es increíble y donde vive Crowley es muy de su estilo, la escenografía y el vestuario me sorprendió un montón y amé cada pequeño detalle se nota que el creador quiso hacer que todo saliera perfecto. Las actuaciones son impecables y te hacen tenerles cariño, sus personalidades divertidas y un tanto opuestas se complementan perfectamente y la serie es simplemente una comedia religiosa actualizada lo cual la hace innovadora y fantástica. El soundtrack es otro punto a favor con canciones tan icónicas como lo son Bohemian Rhapsody, Good Old-fashioned Lover Boy, entre otras muchas más canciones de la increíble banda Queen además de sus respectivas canciones instrumentales que son también igual de geniales.
After watching the series I got the book in PDF and I love how accurate and precise it is shown in the series, the scenarios are spectacular from the oldest to the most current, the bookstore that Azirafel takes care of is amazing and where Crowley lives is very much his style, the scenery and costumes surprised me a lot and I loved every little detail you can tell that the creator wanted to make everything perfect. The performances are impeccable and make you love them, their funny and somewhat opposite personalities complement each other perfectly and the series is simply an updated religious comedy which makes it innovative and fantastic. The soundtrack is another plus with iconic songs such as Bohemian Rhapsody, Good Old-fashioned Lover Boy, among many other songs by the incredible band Queen plus their respective instrumental songs that are also equally great.
Recomiendo esta serie para aquellos amantes de la comedia, de los misterios de la religión y la creación humana, para aquellos que quieran divertirse viendo a dos seres que se enemigos siendo totalmente buenos y cooperando entre si haciendo que sus aventuras sean aún más emocionantes, para los amantes de lo absurdo y del drama, es una serie que reúne todo esto y que te hará amar a cada personaje por como es y que te hará pensar "realmente podrán detener el fin del mundo?".
I recommend this series for those who love comedy, the mysteries of religion and human creation, for those who want to have fun watching two beings who are enemies being totally good and cooperating with each other making their adventures even more exciting, for lovers of the absurd and drama, it is a series that brings all this together and that will make you love each character for the way they are and that will make you think "can they really stop the end of the world?".
