Hello dear friends! I hope you are very well, today I would like to share with you my opinion about a Korean series that I finished watching this morning and I really liked it, it is "We are Dead" a Netflix series which consists of 12 chapters. Without further ado, read on.
¡Hola queridos amigos! Espero estén muy bien, hoy me gustaría compartir con ustedes mi opinión acerca de una serie coreana que terminé de ver esta mañana y me gustó mucho, se trata de "Estamos Muertos" una serie de Netflix la cual consta de 12 capitulos. Sin más dilación, sigue leyendo.
All Of Us Are Dead is a South Korean zombie apocalypse series released in January 2022 on Netflix, whose story begins when a laboratory virus created by a Hyosan high school teacher causes an epidemic that turns all students into zombies, forcing groups of trapped students to fight for survival as the virus quickly spreads not only within the school, but throughout Hyosan as well.
All Of Us Are Dead es una serie surcoreana de apocalipsis zombie lanzada en Enero de 2022 en Netflix, cuya historia comienza cuando un virus de laboratorio creado por un profesor de la escuela secundaria de Hyosan provoca una epidemia que convierte a todos los estudiantes en zombies, obligando a grupos de estudiantes que quedan atrapados a luchar por sobrevivir mientras el virus es rápidamente esparcido no sólo dentro de la escuela, sino también en todo Hyosan.
The series shows situations of great tension, stressful and if you will desperation that kept me hooked hahaha (in fact I finished it in 2 days), the lack of food and water, coupled with the uncertainty of whether they will be rescued or not , play a crucial role among students who have to manage their emotions very well and try to stay calm in order to fight to survive.
La serie muestra situaciones de mucha tensión, estresantes y si se quiere de desesperación que a mi me mantuvo enganchada jajaja (de hecho me la terminé en 2 dias), la falta de comida y agua, aunnado a la incertidumbre de si los rescatarán o no, juegan un papel crucial entre los estudiantes los cuales tienen que manejar muy bien sus emociones e intentar mantener la calma para poder luchar para sobrevivir.
Throughout the story there are many good scenes, such as the ones that show the defense against the zombies when they change rooms as they make their way to try to flee, the chase scenes in the school corridors are also very good . On the other hand, there were several scenes that I didn't like, such as the ones in which students die (the most painful in my opinion are those of I-sak, On-jo's best friend, Gyeong-su, Cheong-san's best friend, since for His death was unfair and that of Professor Park, although it was also very sad to see the survivors learn of the death of their parents (as is the case of Ji-min who finds out through a drone that they send to see the situation outside), Cheong-san who saw the zombified corpse of his mother and On-jo who saw how the zombies bit his father before dying, also Woo-jin's death in front of his sister made me sad.
A lo largo de la historia hay muchas buenas escenas, como las que muestran la defensa contra los zombies cuando van cambiando de salón a medida que se van abriendo paso para intentar huir, las escenas de persecuciones en los pasillos de la escuela también son muy buenas. Por otro lado hubo varias escenas que no me gustaron, como en las mueren estudiantes (las más dolorosas a mi parecer son las de I-sak la mejor amiga de On-jo, Gyeong-su el mejor amigo de Cheong-san ya que para mi su muerte fué injusta y la de la profesora Park, aunque también fué muy triste ver a los supervivientes enterarse de la muerte de sus padres (como es el caso de Ji-min la cual se entera mediante un dron que ellos envían para ver la situación fuera), Cheong-san el cual vió el cadáver zombificado de su madre y On-jo el cual vió como los zombies mordían a su padre antes de morir, también la muerte de Woo-jin delante de su hermana me entristeció.
This series also refers to issues such as bullying, such as the one shown at the beginning of the series towards a girl who is forced to take off her shirt to record her (for which she is very resentful), as well as many criticisms on a social level. We can also observe the difference in social classes and how people behave towards her (as is the case of Gyeong-su, who, being low-income, is constantly bothered by Lee Na-yeon, who believes she is superior and is quite arrogant. (in fact, thanks to her, Gyeong-su gets infected because she cleans a wound with an infected handkerchief), you can also see the competition that exists in the plot and the selfishness. In a few words, in the series they show how the situation brings out the worst of some, and the best of others since solidarity between characters is also shown.
Esta serie también hace referencia a temas como el bullying, como el que es mostrado al principio de la serie hacia una chica la cual obligan a quitarse la camisa para grabarla (por lo que queda muy resentida), también muchas críticas a nivel social. También podemos observar la diferencia de clases sociales y como se comporta la gente respecto a ella (como es el caso de Gyeong-su el cual por ser de bajos recursos es constantemente molestado por Lee Na-yeon la cual se cree superior y es bastante arrogante (de hecho gracias a ella Gyeong-su se infecta ya que le limpia una herida con un pañuelo infectado), también se puede ver la competividad que hay en la trama y el egoísmo. En pocas palabras en la serie muestran como la situación saca lo peor de unos, y lo mejor de otros ya que también se muestra solidaridad entre personajes.
My favorite character is that of Nam-ra, the class delegate, who proves to be very intelligent although later it is known that she is like that out of obligation so that her mother does not get upset with her and even if she is the delegate she does not have any friends so now she is very happy to have friends, Nam-ra also seems to me to be a very brave girl who has knowledge of survival thanks to the fact that her father is a firefighter and she was able to train with them. Cheong-san seems like an adorable boy and I like how he protects On-jo since it is not only because he likes her, but also because they are friends and neighbors since they were children, their relationship is very nice, even more than Nam- ra and Su-hyeok.
Mi personaje favorito es el de Nam-ra, la delegada de la clase, la cual demuestra ser muy inteligente aunque luego se sabe que ella es así por obligación para que su madre no se moleste con ella y aunque sea la delegada no tiene ningún amigo por lo que ahora está muy contenta de tener amigos, también Nam-ra me parece una chica muy valiente la cual tiene conocimientos de supervivencia gracias a que su papá es bombero y ella pudo entrenar con ellos. Cheong-san me parece un chico adorable y me gusta como proteje a On-jo ya que no sólo es porque el gusta de ella, también porque son amigos y vecinos desde niños, su relación es muy bonita, incluso más que la de Nam-ra y Su-hyeok.
This series is based on the webtoon "Now at Our School" by Joo Dong-geun which came out between 2009 and 2011 (in fact the series in Korean is called the same as the webtoon) but is set in 2021, it should be noted that the school where most of the story takes place which seems to be a real school, in reality it is a set of more than 100 meters long created solely for production which gives the appearance of a 4-level building. Thanks to this they were able to introduce different tools to give the institute a fun appearance at the beginning, and after the epidemic it looked like a gloomy place. I really liked the setting of the library and the dining room, since I could see on television that the scenes in the dining room when the epidemic begins to spread were filmed in a single take with 200 actors on the set, who for the role of zombies , they received classes with a choreographer to learn how to move like a zombie. There were also many other exciting scenes shot in one take so it was difficult to shoot.
Esta serie se basa en el webtoon "Now at Our School" de Joo Dong-geun el cual salió entre 2009 y 2011 (de hecho la serie en coreano se llama igual que el webtoon) pero está ambientada en el 2021, cabe destacar que la escuela donde se desarrolla la mayor parte de la historia la cual parece ser una verdadera escuela, en realidad es un set de más de 100 metros de largo creado únicamente para la producción el cual da la apariencia de un edificio de 4 niveles. Gracias a esto pudieron introducir distintas herramientas para dar una apariencia divertida al instituto al principio, y luego de la epidemia se viera como un lugar lúgubre. Me gustó mucho la ambientación de la biblioteca y el comedor, ya que pude ver en televisión que las escenas en el comedor cuando empieza a expandirse la epidemia fueron filmadas en una solo toma con 200 actores en el set, los cuales para el papel de zombies, recibieron clases con un coreográfo para aprender a moverse como un zombie. También hubo muchas otras emocionantes escenas filmadas en una sola toma por lo que fué difícil de grabar.
In conclusion, this series is very good and I highly recommend it to everyone, the plots presented are really entertaining since not only because it is a zombie series is it clearly horror, it also has a dose of comedy so it is not a tiresome series of see and it is not more of the same. I confess that I wasn't a fan of Korean series before, but this is the third one I've seen (previously I saw El Juego Del Calamar and Hotel Del Luna) and so far none have disappointed me, this series has already been renewed for a season 2 which I look forward to it and I have high hopes for it.

En conclusión, esta serie es muy buena y la recomiendo ampliamente a todos, las tramas presentadas son realmente entretenidas ya que no sólo por ser una serie de zombies es netamente terror, también tiene una dósis de comedia por lo que no es una serie cansona de ver y tampoco es más de lo mismo. Confieso que antes no era fan de las series coreanas, pero ya esta es la tercera que veo (previamente ví El Juego Del Calamar y Hotel Del Luna) y hasta ahora ninguna me ha decepcionado, esta serie ya fué renovada para una temporada 2 la cual espero ansiosa y tengo muchas espectativas al respecto.
