Hello dear cinephile friends, I hope you are very well! Today I would like to share with you my opinion about Cinderella, a movie that I really like which is a remake of the 1950 animated version, I hope you like it.
¡Hola queridos amigos cinéfilos, espero estén muy bien! Hoy quisiera compartir con ustedes mi opinión acerca de Cinderella, una pelicula que me gusta mucho la cual es un remake de la versión animada de 1950, espero les guste.
The plot tells us the story of Ella, a girl who after her father died was left in the care of her evil stepmother Lady Tremaine and her two selfish stepsisters Anastasia and Drizella who mistreat her a lot and force her to work as a servant in her own house. When a dance is held in the palace to find a wife for the prince, all the maidens are invited but the two stepsisters destroy Ella's dress so that she would not attend the dance, but then, with the help of her fairy godmother's magic, she manages to attend with the condition that leave the dance before midnight because at that time the spell will be broken. The prince falls in love with Ella and when he runs away he leaves a slipper on the stairs which they use to try it on all the girls in the town in order to find Ella and once the prince and her are reunited, they get married and live happily ever after.
La trama nos cuenta la historia de Ella, una niña que luego de morir su padre quedó al cuido de su malvada madrastra Lady Tremaine y sus dos hermanastras egoistas Anastasia y Drizella las cuales la maltratan mucho y la obligan a trabajar como sirvienta en su propia casa. Cuando se celebra un baile en el palacio para buscar una esposa para el príncipe todas las doncellas son invitadas pero las dos hermanastras le destruyen el vestido a Ella para que no asistiera al baile pero, luego con ayuda de la magia de su hada madrina logra asistir con la condición de irse del baile antes de la medianoche ya que a esa hora el hechizo se romperá. El príncipe se enamora de Ella y cuando huye deja una zapatilla en las escaleras la cual usan para probarsela a todas las chicas del pueblo para poder encontrar a Ella y una vez se reúnen el principe y ella, se casan y viven felices para siempre.
Well, I confess that at first I expected it to be a faithful copy of the animated one but although it is not, I was not disappointed at all since they did an excellent job with the story. I loved the personification of the characters since Lily James did an excellent job as Cinderella and I liked the personality they gave Ella since in this film she is braver and more self-confident.
Bueno, confieso que al principio esperaba que fuese una copia fiel a la animada pero aunque no lo es, no salí para nada decepcionada ya que hicieron un excelente trabajo con la historia. La personificación de los personajes me encantó ya que Lily James hizo un excelente trabajo como Cenicienta y me gustó la personalidad que le dieron a Ella ya que en esta película es mas valiente y segura de sí misma.
Other characters that I loved are, the stepmother, the stepsisters and the fairy godmother. I really think they did an excellent job, especially Cate Blanchett as Lady Tremaine and Helena Bonham Carter as the fairy godmother, I loved the costumes used by both and the way they interpreted their characters. And although in this version they left out the fairy godmother's song "Bibbidi Bobbidi Boo" when preparing Ella for the dance I didn't mind since in my opinion it wasn't necessary. What I would have liked is for them to personify the mice and birds a little more like the ones in the animated film, but even though they didn't do it, I still liked them a lot. I also found the prince very cute and I found the characters of the King and the Grand Duke to be quite funny. I also liked the inclusion of new characters like the Captain and others since they contributed a lot to the film. In conclusion, the entire cast and crew did a great job.
Otros personajes que amé son, la madrastra, las hermanastras y el hada madrina. De verdad considero que hicieron un excelente trabajo en especial Cate Blanchett como Lady Tremaine y Helena Bonham Carter como el hada madrina, me encantaron los vestuarios utilizados por ambas y la manera de interpretar sus personajes. Y aunque en esta versión omitieron la canción del hada madrina "Bibbidi Bobbidi Boo" al momento de preparar a Ella para el baile no me importó ya que en mi opinión no hizo falta. Lo que sí me hubiese gustado es que personificaran a los ratones y aves un poco más parecidos a los del film animado pero aunque no lo hicieron igual me simpatizaron mucho. El príncipe también me pareció muy lindo y los personajes del Rey y el Gran Duke me parecieron bastante graciosos. También la inclusión de nuevos personajes como el Capitán y otros me gustó ya que aportaron mucho a la película. En conclusión, todo el cast y equipo hicieron un grandioso trabajo.
I also really liked the photography of the movie, the planes and scenarios used are really beautiful as well as the special effects, and all the dance scenes were my favorites since this part was longer than in the animated version and I liked it a lot. the dance between Ella and the prince. Something that I also really liked as I said before was the wardrobe but this time I will talk about Ella's beautiful dress which was really a beautiful creation, and I must say that I loved the glass slippers and I suffered when one broke hahaha. In my opinion, generally this movie was really quite well done.
La fotografía de la pelicula también me gustó mucho, los planos y escenarios utilizados son realmente hermosos así como también los efectos especiales, y todas las escenas del baile fueron mis favoritas ya que esta parte fué mas larga que en la versión animada y me gustó mucho el baile entre Ella y el príncipe. Algo que también me gustó mucho como dije anteriormente fué el vestuario pero esta vez hablaré del hermoso vestido de Ella el cual de verdad fué una hermosa creación, y debo decir que las zapatillas de cristal me encantaron y sufrí cuando una se rompió jajaja. En mi opinión, generalmente esta pelicula de verdad estuvo bastante bien realizada.
Another thing that I liked was the soundtrack of the film since although they did not include the original songs during the film in the credits we can hear apart from a new song called "Strong" performed by Sonna Rele, the song "A Dream Is A Wish Your Heart Makes" performed by Lily James. On the CD they also include "Bibbidi Bobbidi Boo" which I was pleased to hear from the voice of Helena Bonham Carter and although I would have liked to hear it in the movie it was not necessary and although this time they did not cover "So This Is Love" which they sing Cinderella and the prince during the dance I really liked the song "Lavender's Blue (Dilly Dilly)" that Ella sings during the movie.
Otra cosa que me gustó fué el soundtrack de la película ya que aunque no incluyeron las canciones originales durante la película en los créditos podemos escuchar aparte de una nueva canción llamada "Strong" interpretada por Sonna Rele, la canción "A Dream Is A Wish Your Heart Makes" interpretada por Lily James. En el CD también incluyen "Bibbidi Bobbidi Boo" la cual me complació escucharla de la voz de Helena Bonham Carter y aunque me hubiese gustado escucharla dentro de la pelicula no hizo falta y aunque esta vez no versionaron "So This Is Love" la cual cantan Cinderella y el príncipe durante el baile me gustó mucho la canción "Lavender's Blue (Dilly Dilly)" que canta Ella durante la película.
Well, to finish I will tell you that this movie seemed quite nice and ideal to enjoy either with the family or alone and I would like to recommend it to all those people who have not seen it yet, I assure you that you will not regret seeing it, I personally was delighted.
Bueno, para finalizar les diré es esta pelicula me pareció bastante agradable e ideal para disfrutar ya sea en familia o en solitario y me gustaría recomendarsela a todas aquellas personas que todavpia no la han visto, les aseguro que no se van a arrepentir de verla, a mi personalmente me dejó encantada.
