Today I would like to share with you what was my favorite Argentine series from my childhood, which I still remember fondly. This is Floricienta, a series that I saw for the first time on Disney Channel in 2004 and stars Argentine actors Florencia Bertotti, Juan Gil Navarro, Fabio Di Tomaso, Isabel Macedo and Benjamin Rojas in the leading roles. Es un inmenso placer estar aquí nuevamente luego de una temporada sumergida en la lectura, hoy me gustaría compartir con ustedes la que fue mi serie Argentina favorita de mi infancia, la cual todavía recuerdo con mucho cariño. Se trata de Floricienta, una serie que vi por primera vez en Disney Channel en el 2004 y está protagonizada por los actores argentinos Florencia Bertotti, Juan Gil Navarro, Fabio Di Tomaso, Isabel Macedo y Benjamin Rojas en los papeles principales. This beautiful series tells the story of Florencia Fazzarino, who starts working as a nanny at the Fritzenwalden house where she wins the affection of all those who live there except Delfina Santillán and her mother Malala. Federico Fritzenwalden is the eldest of 5 siblings and will have to take care of his younger siblings after his parents died. Despite the fact that Federico and Delfina are a couple, Federico and Florencia fall in love and secretly begin a relationship, which is tarnished by Delfina who, to prevent Flor and Federico from being together, makes everyone believe that she is sick so that Federico can stay together. I married her but, when Federico realized Delfina's deceit, he decided not to marry her and humiliated her at the altar, leaving her planted. After this, Flor and Federico decide to run away together, but this becomes impossible because Federico is accidentally run over when he tries to save Count Máximo Augusto Calderón de la Hoya, who was the one they were going to run over. After this, while the whole family and Flor face the loss of Federico, his spirit that is still in limbo will have an opportunity to leave his brothers in charge of the Count, and to say goodbye to Florencia.
Esta hermosa serie nos cuenta la historia de Florencia Fazzarino, la cual entra a trabajar como niñera a la casa Fritzenwalden en donde se gana el cariño de todos los que allí viven menos de Delfina Santillán y de su madre Malala. Federico Fritzenwalden es el mayor de 5 hermanos y tendrá que hacerse cargo de sus hermanos menores luego de que sus padres murieran. A pesar de que Federico y Delfina son pareja, Federico y Florencia se enamoran y empiezan una relación secretamente, la cual es empañada por Delfina la cual para evitar que Flor y Federico estén juntos les hace creer a todos que está enferma para que así Federico se case con ella pero, Federico al darse cuenta del engaño de Delfina decide no casarse con ella y la humilla en el altar dejándola plantada. Luego de esto Flor y Federico deciden huir juntos pero, esto se vuelve imposible porque Federico muere accidentalmente atropellado cuando intenta salvar al Conde Máximo Augusto Calderón de la Hoya, el cual era el que iban a atropellar. Luego de esto, mientras toda la familia y Flor afrontan la pérdida de Federico, su espíritu que todavía está en el limbo tendrá una oportunidad para dejar a sus hermanos a cargo del Conde, y de despedirse de Florencia.
After all this happens, Count Máximo Augusto takes charge of Federico's family and inevitably falls in love with Florencia, and she with him. For the second time, Delfina does her thing to separate them and also to make Florencia not collect her father's inheritance, since it turns out that Flor and Delfina discover that they are sisters on their father's side, and Delfina falsifies a DNA test to avoid that Flor receives her inheritance, a fact for which she ends up in jail along with her accomplice. Luego de que pasa todo esto, el Conde Máximo Augusto se hace cargo de la familia de Federico e inevitablemente se enamora de Florencia, y ella de él. Por segunda vez, Delfina hace de las suyas para separarlos y también para hacer que Florencia no cobre la herencia de su padre, ya que resulta que Flor y Delfina descubren que son hermanas por parte de padre, y Delfina falsifica una prueba de ADN para evitar que Flor reciba su herencia, hecho por el cual termina en la cárcel junto a su cómplice. Flor y el Conde se convierten en padres de trillizos y la serie termina con el matrimonio de ambos, y al final vivieron felices para siempre.

I remember how much I liked it when it came out, and I never missed it. The cast was incredible, in general I consider that the work of the cast was good, although the role of the protagonist was a bit silly but the actress Florencia Bertotti played it perfectly, and I liked the way in which the actress Isabel Macedo gave her life to Delfina, the main villain, which I really hated because she really looked evil and everything she did against others made me angry. I also consider that the performance of the rest of the cast was really good since you can sympathize with some and hate others so they all made the series really entertaining, although if we talk about the 2 male leads in my opinion, better was that of the first season but still both were great.
Recuerdo lo mucho que me gustaba cuando salió, y nunca me la perdía. El elenco era increible, en general considero que el trabajo del elenco estuvo bien, aunque el papel de la protagonista era un poco tonta pero la actriz Florencia Bertotti lo interpretó a la perfección, y me gustó la manera en que la actriz Isabel Macedo le dió vida a Delfina, la villana principal, la cual realmente odié porque enserio se veía malvada y daba rabia todo lo que hacía en contra de los demás. También considero que el desempeño del resto del elenco estuvo realmente bien ya que se logra simpatizar con unos y odiar a otros así que todos hicieron que la serie fuese realmente entretenida, aunque si hablamos de los 2 protagonistas masculinos en mi opinión, mejor fue el de la primera temporada pero igual ambos estuvieron geniales.
The photography at that time was fine and the series was quite entertaining, of course I'm not saying that it was the best of all seeing it at this point in life but since it is a series aimed primarily at children, I think its creator Cris Morena made a excellent work, the series is based on the story of Cinderella and I remember that at that time it became a worldwide success which broke audience records and has also been translated into several languages and has 5 adaptations of which I saw only one, the one produced in Mexico and starring Eiza Gonzalez. It has also had broadcasts in 2012 and 2020, also having audience success. Something that I also liked about the show was the wardrobe, since Flor always wore colorful clothes (like all the good characters) and the villains like Delfina and Malala always wear mostly black. I remember that as a child I wanted to dress just like Florencia and they even gave me the heart-printed shoes that she wore in the photos of the program.
La fotografía para aquel entonces estaba bien y la serie era bastante entretenida, claro no digo que era la mejor de todas viéndola a estas alturas de la vida pero como es una serie dirigida más que todo al público infantil creo que su creadora Cris Morena hizo un excelente trabajo, la serie se basa en el cuento de la Cenicienta y recuerdo que en aquel entonces se convirtió en un éxito mundial la cual batió récords de audiencia y también ha sido traducida en varios idiomas y cuenta con 5 adaptaciones de las cuales yo me ví solo una, la producida en México y protagonizada por Eiza Gonzalez. También ha tenido retransmisiones en los años 2012 y 2020 teniendo también éxito de audiencia. Algo que también me gustaba del programa era el vestuario, ya que Flor siempre usaba ropa colorida (como todos los personajes buenos) y los villanos como Delfina y Malala siempre van mas que todo de negro. Recuerdo que de niña quería vestirme igual que Florencia y hasta me regalaron los zapatos con estampado de corazón que ella usaba en las fotografías del programa.
Regarding music, it was also a great worldwide success since it not only had 2 albums which I really loved, with catchy songs that I still like to listen to sometimes, they also toured around the world and their first 2 tours were released in DVD format. This series has really been one of the most beautiful memories that I keep from my childhood because it really was one of my favorites and I think that if they broadcast it again and I have the opportunity to see it, I would see it again so I can remember times happy. I imagine that many people, like me, were able to enjoy it, and I would like to recommend it to those who have not seen it yet, since it is good and entertaining to spend time with the family or alone.
Respecto a la música, también fue un gran éxito mundial ya que no solamente contó con 2 albumes los cuales realmente me encantaron, con canciones pegajosas que a veces me gusta escuchar todavía, también hicieron giras musicales al rededor del mundo y sus 2 primeros tours fueron sacados en formato DVD. De verdad que esta serie ha sido uno de los más lindos recuerdos que guardo de mi niñez porque de verdad era de mis favoritas y creo que si la vuelven a transmitir y yo tengo la oportunidad de verla, la vería de nuevo para así poder recordar tiempos felices. Imagino que muchas personas al igual que yo pudieron disfrutarla, y me gustaría recomendarla a los que aún no la ven ya que es buena y entretenida para pasar el rato ya sea en familia o en solitario.
