Hoy estoy por aquí para compartir una de mis películas favoritas de mi niñez, la cual veía mucho cuando era niña, se trata de la pelicula de Jimmy Neutron, El Niño Genio la cual fue estrenada en el 2001 a través de Nickelodeon Movies y Paramount Pictures. 🍿 Plot / Trama 🍿
Jimmy Neutron is a boy genius who, together with his friend Carl, manages to launch a toaster into space to communicate with aliens, and after this they go to the school. Jimmy and his friends Sheen and Carl see that a new amusement park called Retroland is going to be inaugurated and seeing that their parents do not give any of them permission to go, they run away from their homes and go to the inauguration. That same night, the parents of all the children in Retroville (the town they live in) are abducted by aliens, and although the children initially celebrate that their parents are gone (believing that they went on vacation), but then they realize that their parents were kidnapped by aliens so Jimmy and all the kids decide to assemble spaceships and travel to space to rescue their parents, and once the kids arrive on the planet of the aliens they must fight with them to defeat them and avoid them. have his parents eaten by an alien chicken called Poultra.
Jimmy Neutron es un niño genio que junto a su amigo Carl logran lanzar un tostador en el espacio para poder comunicarse con extraterrestres, y luego de esto van a su escuela. Jimmy y sus amigos Sheen y Carl ven que van a inaugurar un nuevo parque de diversiones llamado Retrolandia y al ver que sus padres no les dan permiso a ninguno para ir, se fugan de sus casas y van a la inauguración. Esa misma noche, los padres de todos los niños de Retroville (la ciudad en la que viven) son secuestrados por los extraterrestres, y aunque los niños inicialmente celebran que sus padres se hayan ido (creyendo que se fueron de vacaciones), pero luego se dan cuenta de que sus padres fueron secuestrados por extraterrestres así que Jimmy y todos los niños deciden armar naves espaciales y viajar al espacio a rescatar a sus padres, y una vez los niños llegan al planeta de los aliens deberán luchar con ellos para derrotarlos y evitar que sus padres sean comidos por una gallina alienígena llamada Poultra.

A few days ago I shared with you my memories about the Jimmy series, and obviously I couldn't stop sharing the movie as well because it's the beginning, so to speak, of the series that I like so much and brings back so many good memories, just like I remember this movie the first time I saw it in the cinema with my parents, I really enjoyed it quite a bit because I thought it was quite good and entertaining. I really liked the work of the voice actors in general because each one manages to give a great touch of humor and characteristic to each character, which is very good and give a special touch to the movie.
Hace pocos días compartí con ustedes mis recuerdos acerca de la serie de Jimmy, y obviamente no podía dejar de compartir también la película ya que es el comienzo por así decirlo de la serie que tanto me gusta y me trae tantos buenos recuerdos, al igual que esta película la cual recuerdo que la primera vez que la vi en el cine en compañía de mis padres realmente la disfruté bastante ya que me pareció bastante buena y entretenida. Me gustó mucho el trabajo de los actores de doblaje en general ya que cada uno logra darle un gran toque de humor y característico a cada personaje, lo cual es muy bueno y le da un toque especial a la película.
Although I don't really like computer animation, the one in this movie really seemed very good to me, it has a fairly wide color palette ideal for this type of children's movies, and I also really liked the design of all the characters. My favorite character is Cindy, because she really seemed funny to me and her quite sarcastic character made me laugh, and it always seemed to me that despite being so competitive and sometimes evil with Jimmy, they were both a good couple. I found the story quite creative, original and entertaining and I remember that my favorite scene since it made me laugh a lot is when Jimmy makes an alien believe that his dog Goddard is a bomb because when doing the "dead man" trick he explodes, so by speaking through a loudspeaker he manages to scare the alien who then runs away. And another one that I remember made me laugh a lot is the dance that all the parents do under mind control to welcome Poultra. I really think the movie in general is very good, and an excellent introduction to the cartoon that later aired for several years on Nickelodeon.
Aunque no me gusta mucho la animación por computadora la de esta película realmente me pareció muy buena, tiene una paleta de colores bastante amplia ideal para este tipo de películas infantiles, y el diseño de todos los personajes también me gustó bastante. Mi personaje favorito es Cindy, ya que realmente me parecía graciosa y me hacía reír su carácter bastante sarcástico, además siempre me pareció que a pesar de ser tan competitiva y en ocasiones malvada con Jimmy ambos hacían buena pareja. La historia me pareció bastante creativa, original y entretenida y recuerdo que mi escena favorita ya que me hizo reír mucho es cuando Jimmy le hace creer a un extraterrestre que su perro Goddard es una bomba ya que al hacer el truco del "muerto" el explota, así que hablando por un altavoz logra asustar al extraterrestre el cual luego sale corriendo. Y otra que recuerdo me dio mucha risa es el baile que hacen todos los padres bajo control mental para recibir a Poultra. Realmente la película en general me parece muy buena, y una excelente introducción para la comiquita que transmitieron luego durante varios años en Nickelodeon.
To finish, I would say that it's one of the best films that Nickelodeon has released and a very good introduction to the cartoon, and although it is aimed primarily at children, it's very good to be enjoyed by the whole family because it manages to be quite entertaining. and like the series, I remember it with great affection for being part of my childhood and I would like to recommend it to all those who still do not know it, I hope you like it as much as I do.
Para finalizar, diría que es una de las mejores películas que ha lanzado Nickelodeon y una muy buena introducción para la comiquita, y aunque está dirigida más que todo al público infantil es muy buena para ser disfrutada por toda la familia ya que logra ser bastante entretenida y al igual que la serie, la recuerdo con mucho cariño por ser parte de mi niñez y me gustaría recomendársela a todos los que todavía no la conocen, espero que les guste tanto como a mí.
