Hello dear internet friends! I hope you are very well, after spending a weekend thanks to an allergy today I could finally go to see the new Doctor Strange movie, and I would like to share with you my opinion about it, without further ado let's start!
¡Hola queridos amigos de internet! Espero estén muy bien, luego de pasar un fin de semana gracias a una alergia hoy al fin pude ir a ver la nueva pelicula del Doctor Strange, y me gustaría compartir con ustedes mi opinión sobre ella, sin mas dilación ¡comencemos!
After a long wait it was finally released on May 6, 2022. It stars Benedict Cumberbatch, Elizabeth Olsen, Rachel McAdams, Xochitl Gomez, Benedict Wong among others. This time Stephen Strange will confront Wanda Maximoff (The Scarlet Witch) to protect America Chavez, because when Stephen consults Wanda about the multiverse and tells her about America's power to travel between multiverses, he thinks that by controlling her power, he could be reunited with Tom and Billy (the sons he created in WandaVision).
Luego de un tiempo de espera finalmente fué estrenada el 6 de Mayo de 2022. Está protagonizada por Benedict Cumberbatch, Elizabeth Olsen, Rachel McAdams, Xochitl Gomez, Benedict Wong entre otros. Esta vez Stephen Strange se enfrentará a Wanda Maximoff (La Bruja Escarlata) para proteger a America Chavez, ya que cuando Stephen le consulta a Wanda sobre el multiverso a Wanda y le dice cuenta sobre el poder de viajar entre multiversos de America, piensa que controlando el poder de ella, podría volver a reunirse con Tom y Billy (los hijos que creó en WandaVision).
The director Sam Raimi had promised a horror movie, and although it did not have the dose that I had imagined, I thought it was very good, it starts with America and Stephen Strange from another universe fighting against a demon in the space between universes, the demon kills Stephen and Ampercia uses her power (which she cannot control) and is transported with Stephen's corpse to the multiverse where the doctor Strange we know saves her from an octopus demon with the help of Wong (the sorcerer supreme). America explains to her that they are trying to hunt her since she has the power to travel between multiverses.
El director Sam Raimi había prometido una pelicula de terror, y aunque no tuvo la dosis que me había imaginado la pizca que contiene me pareció muy buena, empieza con America y un Stephen Strange de otro universo peleando contra un demonio en el espacio entre universos, el demonio mata a Stephen y Ampercia utiliza su poder (el cual no puede controlar) y se transporta junto al cadáver de Stephen al multiverso donde el doctor Strange que conocemos la salva de un demonio pulpo con la ayuda de Wong (el hechicero supremo). America le explica que están tratando de cazarla ya que tiene el poder de viajar entre los multiversos.
Wanda decides to capture America and becomes the main antagonist of the movie, I know she was really hurt after the events of Avengers Infinity War, Endgame, and also after WandaVision but I didn't really like that they made her the villain, her power is incredible (in fact they said she had enough power to take down Thanos by herself) and for me she was one of the most powerful of the team, but I still really liked how she played her role. I just hope Wanda survived the end of the movie and we get more of her in future productions.
Wanda decide capturar a America y se vuelve la antagonista principal de la película, se que ella quedó muy lastimada luego de los eventos de Avengers Infinity War, Endgame, y también luego de WandaVision pero no me gustó mucho que la hayan puesto de villana, su poder es increible (de hecho dijeron que ella tenía el poder suficiente de acabar con Thanos ella sola) y para mi era una de las mas poderosas del equipo, pero aún asi me gustó mucho como ella desempeñó su papel. Sólo espero que Wanda haya sobrevivido al final de la pelicula y tengamos mas de ella en futuras producciones.
In this installment we not only find other versions of Stephen Strange (one version died and another is a bit terrifying) but also several new characters, such as the Illuminati, a group made up of alternate versions of Karl Mordo, Peggy Carter (known as Captain Carter) the which is a heroine similar to Captain America but with the English flag on her suit and shield, Maria Rambeau (known as Captain Marvel instead of Carol Denvers), Blackagar Boltagon (an inhuman member), Reed Richards (a member of the Fantastic Four) and Charles Xavier (better known as Professor X, who appears in X-Men). They except Mordo are all killed by Wanda Maximoff. It is also revealed that the version of Stephen Strange from that universe (Earth 838) was executed after defeating Thanos to prevent him from doing more damage (I understood that he was a villain in that universe but I'm not sure).
En esta entrega no sólo nos encontramos otras versiones de Stephen Strange (una versión falleció y otra es un poco terrorífica) también varios personajes nuevos, como los illuminati un grupo compuesto por versiones alternas de Karl Mordo, Peggy Carter (conocida como Capitana Carter) la cual es una heroina similar al Capitán America pero con la bandera de Inglaterra en su traje y escudo, Maria Rambeau (conocida como Capitana Marvel en lugar de Carol Denvers), Blackagar Boltagon (a inhuman member), Reed Richards (a member of the Fantastic Four) and Charles Xavier (mejor conocido como Profesor X, el cual aparece en X-Men). Todos ellos excepto Mordo son asesinados por Wanda Maximoff. También se da a conocer que la versión de Stephen Strange de ese universo (Tierra 838) fué ejecutada luego de derrotar a Thanos para evitar que hiciera mas daño (yo entendí que el era un villano en ese universo más no estoy segura).
The new main character of America Chavez also seemed very good to me, although at first he could not control his powers, he demonstrated the great power he possesses, by becoming the protégé of Doctor Strange, he and Wong manage to encourage her to control her powers and manage to send Wanda to earth 838 where she sees Billy and Tommy frightened of her and crying for her real mother (that world's version of Wanda). Wanda finally decides to surrender and uses her powers to return to Mount Wundagore (where she was facing Stephen Strange and Wong) and also seemingly sacrifices herself to destroy Mount Wundagore and all the monsters it had created and all copies of the Darkhold in the entire multiverse. and America sends Stephen and Christine Palmer (who was also present at the battle) back to their respective universes.
El nuevo personaje protagonista de America Chavez también me pareció muy bueno, aunque al principio no podía dominar sus poderes demostró el gran poder que posee, al convertirse en la protegida del doctor Strange el y Wong logran animarla para que logre controlar sus poderes y logra enviar a Wanda a la tierra 838 dónde ve a Billy y Tommy atemorizarse de ella y llorando por su madre verdadera (la versión de Wanda de ese mundo). Wanda finalmente decide rendirse y usa sus poderes para regresar al Monte Wundagore (donde estaba enfrentándose a Stephen Strange y a Wong) y también aparentemente se sacrifica para destruir el Monte Wundagore y todos los monstruos que había creado y todas las copias del Darkhold en todo el multiverso y America vuelve a enviar a Stephen y a Christine Palmer (la cual también estaba presente en la batalla) a sus respectivos universos.
I thought it was a very good movie, with quite good special effects, the performances of the actors are excellent and the movie this time is full of terrifying monsters and even a zombie, which although they are not scary, they are close to the horror genre. It was also weird that Stephen got a "third eye" at the end of the movie, but it was to be expected since one of the versions of him that he faces in another universe already had it open. In the post-credits scene, a new character named "Clea" appears, played by Charlize Theron, who is a sorceress from the dark dimension who requests her help.
Me pareció una pelicula muy buena, con unos efectos especiales bastante buenos, las actuaciones de los actores son excelentes y la pelicula esta vez se llena de monstruos terroríficos y hasta un zombie, que aunque no dan miedo se acercan al género de terror. También fué raro que a Stephen le saliera un "tercer ojo" al final de la pelicula, pero era de esperarse ya que una de sus versiones a la cual el se enfrenta en otro universo ya lo tenía abierto. En la escena post créditos aparece un nuevo personaje llamado "Clea" el cual es interpretado por Charlize Theron la cual es una hechicera de la dimensión oscura la cual solicita su ayuda.
