Hello dear hive friends! How are you? Today I would like to share my opinion about one of my favorite movies of when I was younger, The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe. Without further ado, let's begin!.
¡Hola queridos amigos de la colmena! ¿Cómo están? Hoy me gustaría compartir mi opinión sobre una de mis películas favoritas de cuando era más joven, Las crónicas de Narnia: El león, la bruja y el armario. Sin más que agregar, ¡comencemos!
Summary / Resumen
In the middle of World War II, the brothers Peter, Susan, Edmund and Lucy Pevensie are evacuated from their home and sent to the home of a teacher who lives in the country to be safe from the bombings. Once inside Lucy, the little sister discovers a wardrobe that, when she enters, transports her to a magical world called Narnia, where on her first visit she meets a faun called Tumnus.
En plena Segunda Guerra Mundial los hermanos Peter, Susan, Edmund y Lucy Pevensie son evacuados de su casa y enviados a casa de un profesor que vive en el campo para estar a salvo de los bombardeos. Una vez dentro Lucy, la hermana pequeña descubre un armario que al entrar la transporta a un mágico mundo llamado Narnia, donde en su primera visita conoce a un fauno llamado Tumnus.
The faun, realizing that she is a human (Eve's daughter), invites her to his house at first with the intention of giving her to the Queen, but then he repents and lets her go, and when Lucy returns, she tells her brothers who do not they believe her because they check the wardrobe they don't find a sign of Narnia. On a second visit Edmund follows Lucy and manages to enter, where he meets the Queen who pretended to be good and he betrays his younger sister and tells the Queen about her visits to the faun, once back home Edmund denies everything doing to Lucy will be a liar again.
El fauno al darse cuenta de que es una humana (hija de Eva) la invita a su casa al principio con intenciones de entregarla a la Reina pero luego se arrepiente y la deja ir, ya de vuelta Lucy le cuenta a sus hermanos los cuales no le creen ya que cuando revisan el armario no encuentran señales de Narnia. En una segunda visita Edmund sigue a Lucy y logra entrar, dónde conoce a la Reina la cual se hacía pasar por buena y el delata a su hermana menor y las visitas de ella al fauno, una vez de vuelta a casa Edmund niega todo haciendo a Lucy quedar como mentirosa nuevamente.
One day while playing baseball the brothers break a window and run to hide in the wardrobe, this time managing to enter the four brothers on Narnia. Once inside the older brothers apologize to Lucy and claim Edmund for having lied, they start playing with snowballs and then decide to visit Mr. Tumnus but when they arrive they discover that he has been arrested for helping Lucy.
Un día mientras jugaban béisbol los hermanos rompen una ventana y corren a esconderse en el armario, logrando esta vez entrar los cuatro hermanos a Narnia. Una vez dentro los hermanos mayoes se disculpan con Lucy y le reclaman a Edmund por haber mentido, se ponen a jugar con bolas de nieve y luego deciden visitar al Sr Tumnus pero al llegar descubren que lo han apresado por ayudar a Lucy.
When they leave the Mr Tumnus's house they meet the beaver, who tells them what happened to the faun when he recognized Lucy, he takes them to his house where he and his wife talk to them and tells about the prophecy, meanwhile Edmund manages to escape and go to the witch's castle where he is also imprisoned and his brothers realizing along with the beavers decide to go in search of Aslan, the true King of Narnia. Once they find him, Peter talks to him and tells him about Edmund, which they later manage to rescue safe and sound.
Cuando salen de la casa del Sr Tumnus conocen al castor, el cual les dice que pasó con el fauno al reconocer a Lucy, los lleva a su casa dónde el junto a su esposa hablan con ellos y les cuenta sobre la profecía, mientras tanto Edmund logra escapar y dirigirse al castillo de la bruja donde también es apresado y sus hermanos al darse cuenta junto con los castores deciden ir en búsqueda de Aslan, el verdadero Rey de Narnia. Una vez lo encuentran Peter habla con el y le cuenta sobre Edmund, el cual luego logran rescatar sano y salvo.
When the witch meets with Aslan to claim Edmund's soul for being a traitor, he bargains with her and the witch agrees to give up Edmund's soul. Aslan decided to sacrifice himself for him and the witch kills him on the stone table in front of Lucy and Susan who were hidden, the next day there would be a battle between Aslan's troops and the witch's. Lucy and Susan decide to send the spirits of the trees to warn of Aslan's death.
Cuando la bruja se reúne con Aslan para reclamar el alma de Edmund por ser un traidor, el negocia con ella y la bruja accede a renunciar al alma de Edmund. Aslan decidió sacrificarse por él y la bruja lo mata en la mesa de piedra frente a Lucy y Susan las cuales estaban escondidas, el dia siguiente habría una batalla entre las tropas de Aslan y las de la bruja. Lucy y Susan deciden enviar a los espiritus de los árboles a avisar sobre la muerte de Aslan.
The stone table breaks and Aslan revives making Lucy and Susan very happy, Aslan explains why he is alive and the meaning of his sacrifice and they tell him that his brothers are in the middle of a battle against the white witch, Aslan and the The girls head to the castle where they free all the prisoners to help in the battle. When they arrive at the battle the white witch is surprised that Aslan is alive and Aslan kills the witch winning the battle. Then the 4 brothers are crowned as Kings and Queens of Narnia.
La mesa de piedra se rompe y Aslan revive poniendo a Lucy y Susan muy felices, Aslan les explica porque está vivo y el significado de su sacrificio y ellas le cuentan que sus hermanos están en medio de una batalla contra la bruja blanca, Aslan y las niñas se dirigen al castillo dónde liberan a todos los prisioneros para que ayuden en la batalla. Cuando llegan a la batalla la bruja blanca se sorprende que Aslan esté vivo y Aslan mata a la bruja ganando asi la batalla. Luego los 4 hermanos son coronados como Reyes y Reinas de Narnia.
As adults, while hunting the white deer, they return to where the lighthouse is at the entrance, the four begin to explore and without realizing it, they return to the closet thus leaving Narnia as children again, meeting the teacher who returns the ball to them as if not Not even an hour had passed. The professor asks them for an explanation and when Peter tells him that if they told him he wouldn't believe it, and the professor answers "try me" thus ending the movie.
Ya de adultos mientras cazaban al ciervo blanco regresan a donde está el faro en la entrada, los cuatro empiezan a explorar y sin darse cuenta regresan al armario saliendo así de Narnia como niños nuevamente encontrándose con el profesor el cual les regresa la pelota como si no hubiese transcurrido ni una hora. El profesor les pide una explicación y cuando Peter le dice que si se la contaran no se lo creería, y el profesor contesta "pruébame" terminando así la pelicula.
My Opinion / Mi Opinión
Released in 2005 by Walt Disney Pictures and Walden Media and starring William Moseley, Anna Popplewell, Skandar Keynes, and Georgie Henley as the Pevensie brothers. I think it's a very good and beautiful movie, full of magic and fantasy, the actors who play the brothers and Tilda Swinton is an excellent villain. Aslan's character seemed incredible to me.
Lanzada en 2005 por Walt Disney Pictures y Walden Media y protagonizada por William Moseley, Anna Popplewell, Skandar Keynes y Georgie Henley como los hermanos Pevensie. Me parece una pelicula muy buena y hermosa, llena de magia y fantasía, los actores que hacen de los hermanos y Tilda Swinton es una villana excelente. El personaje de Aslan me pareció increible.
A complete work of art, the soundtrack is wonderful and complements the movie very well, also the special effects are excellent. It is a pity that it is so undervalued and they have canceled it after 2 more movies, I feel that it would have been a tremendous success if the entire saga had ended, although I really liked that for the 2 sequels they have kept the original actors with the role of the brothers, my favorite character despite the fact that at first he is obnoxious and half villain is Edmund, although all 4 did an excellent job.
Una obra de arte completamente, el soundtrack es maravilloso y complementa muy bien la pelicula, también los efectos especiales son excelentes. Es una lástima que esté tan infravalorada y la hayan cancelado luego de 2 peliculas más, siento que hubiese sido tremendo éxito de haber terminado toda la saga, aunque me gustó mucho que para las 2 secuelas hayan conservado a los actores originales con el papel de los hermanos, mi personaje favorito a pesar de que al principio es odioso y medio villano es el de Edmund, aunque los 4 hicieron un excelente trabajo.
As a fan of the movie, I not only collected the complete saga written by C.S. Lewis, I also bought a book with photos allusive to the movie and also the movie on DVD which I still have, I admit that the first books I read in physical form were Narnia by C.S. Lewis.
Como fan de la pelicula, no sólo coleccioné la saga completa escrita por C.S. Lewis, también compré un libro con fotos alusivo a la pelicula y también la pelicula en DVD las cuales todavía conservo, admito que los primeros libros que leí en físico fueron los de Narnia de C.S. Lewis.
