Esta película es producida por Sony pictures Animation, se estrenó el mes de septiembre de 2009. Está basada en el libro Cloudy with a Chance of meatballs en la cual la película lleva ese mismo nombre, y en español “Lluvia de hamburguesas”, cambian un poco la historia original. Fue presentada en 3-D y el cine convencional. Tiene un guion sencillo y fácil de entender para todas las edades.
