In both humans and animals, the maternal protective instinct is evident. There is an invisible cord that binds mother and child unbreakable, it is there, beating and nourishing, and it lasts a lifetime. Mothers, when they embrace their children, breastfeed them and see in their eyes the need for protection, do not break that maternal bond that unites them. Some species of animals tend to detach themselves from their young and devour them. However, this is not a rarity, as it is part of their instincts.

Mother is mother, it is often said, to encompass all that motherhood means. I would say and much more, we are capable of anything for our children. It is a symbiosis, the mother-child relationship, in both senses, this relationship motivates the human being to grow and be better every day. If you are born with a condition or a syndrome, most of the time this invisible cord is stronger. The desire to protect is something innate in mothers, in all species. They are capable of destruction to save their children from danger.

In some animal species this instinct is stronger, as in the case of elephants. Despite their size, they are sensitive, loving, overprotective. This is evidenced in the Disney cartoon film known as Dumbo. This is a classic, for me one of the best films in the history of cinema. This elephant is born a slave in a circus. I say slave and I repeat, the animals in circuses are mistreated, mistreated, humiliated to make them docile and teach them to make the public smile. Those who do not succeed are sacrificed.

Animals from which man can derive something for his benefit are extinct. Elephants have not yet reached these limits. However, they are used for cargo, their tusks to obtain ivory, enslave them and exhibit them in circuses and zoos. This is the reality and he doesn't want to see it that way, let him not, I respect his opinion. If I had been able to enter the screen and his world, I would have accompanied Dumbo's mother to destroy the circus so that they would be serious as we Venezuelans say.

Dumbo was born with a disability, with big ears and because of this he was made fun of. Society bullies him and rejects him just for being different. He is just a baby and he is rejected. In humans this also happens, but nowadays very little. Society has changed. Before, having a different child was an atrocity and they were locked up at home so they could not be seen. And dad blamed it on the mother. In life everything that happens is the mother's fault.

This film raises many controversial issues of human society that still fails to confront, such as: contempt for those considered different, slavery, animal abuse and discrimination. Even when there are laws, man does what he wants and takes everything to achieve his ends. However, friendship prevails, which helps us to move forward. It only takes one impulse or one motivation to bring out that impetus to work towards what we desire. This is represented by Dumbo's friend, Timothy the mouse.

About Dumbo's disability and his big ears, the most important thing about this film is that it shows that the disability is mental, that you can achieve many things, survive and achieve goals. I enjoyed this movie 64 minutes of music, I saw it a long time ago. It won an Oscar for best soundtrack in 1941. I like all the soundtrack but my favorite is the melody "Son of the heart", I leave it for you to listen to it and remember your childhood.

Tanto en humanos como en los animales, el instinto de protección de maternal es evidente. Hay un cordón invisible que une a la madre y a su hijo inquebrantable, está ahí, latiendo y alimentándose, y dura toda la vida. Las madres, cuando abrazan a sus hijos, los amamantan y ven en sus ojos la necesidad de protección, no rompen ese lazo maternal que los une. Algunas especies de animales, suelen despegarse de sus crías y devorarlas. Sin embargo, esto no es una rareza, ya que es propio de sus instintos.

Madre es madre, se suele decir, para englobar todo lo que significa la maternidad. Yo diría y mucho más, somos capaces de todo por nuestros hijos. Es una simbiosis, la relación madre, hijo, en ambos sentidos, esta relación motiva a ser humano a crecer y a ser mejor cada día. Si se nace con una condición o algún síndrome, la mayoría de las veces este cordón invisible es más fuerte. El deseo de protección es algo innato en las madres, en todas las especies. Son capaces de destruir por salvar a sus hijos del peligro.

En algunas especies de animales es más fuerte este instinto, como es el caso de los elefantes. A pesar de su tamaño son sensitivos, amorosos, sobre protectores. Esto se evidencia en el filme de dibujos animados de Disney, conocido como Dumbo. Este es un clásico, para mí una de las mejores películas en la historia del cine. Este elefante nace esclavo en un circo. Digo esclavo y lo reitero, los animalitos en los circos son maltratados, vejados para hacerlos dócil y enseñarles a hacer sonreír al público. El que no lo logra los sacrifican.

Los animales de los cuales el hombre puede obtener algo para su beneficio son extintos. Los elefantes todavía no han llegado a estos límites. Sin embargo, son utilizados para la carga, sus colmillos para obtener el marfil, esclavizarlos y exhibirlos en circos y zoológicos. Esta es la realidad y él no quiere verlo así, que no lo haga, respeto su opinión. Si yo hubiese podido entrar a la pantalla y a su mundo, hubiese acompañado a la mamá de Dumbo a destrozar el circo para que sean serios como decimos los venezolanos.

Dumbo nace con una discapacidad, con grandes orejas y por esto se burlaban de él. La sociedad le hace bullying y lo rechazan solo por ser diferente. Es solo un bebe y es rechazado. En los seres humanos esto también sucede, pero en la actualidad muy poco. La sociedad ha cambiado. Antes tener un hijo diferente, era una atrocidad y los encerraban en casa para que no los vieran. Y papá le echaba la culpa a la madre. En la vida todo lo que sucede la culpa es de la madre.

En este filme se plantea muchos temas controversiales de la sociedad humana y que todavía no logra afrontar, tales como: desprecio hacia los que consideran diferentes, la esclavitud, el maltrato animal y la discriminación. Aun cuando hay Leyes, el hombre hace lo que quiere y se lleva todo por delante para lograr sus fines. Sin embargo, prevalece la amistad, que nos ayuda a seguir adelante. Solo se necesita un impulso o una motivación para sacar ese ímpetu para trabajar en pro de lo que deseamos. Esto lo representa el amigo de Dumbo, el ratón Timoteo.

Sobre la discapacidad de Dumbo y sus grandes orejitas, lo más importante de este filme es que se evidencia que la incapacidad es mental, que se pueden lograr muchas cosas, sobrevivir y lograr metas. Disfrute de esta película son 64 minutos de música, la vi hace mucho tiempo. Gano un premio Oscar a la mejor banda sonora en 1941. Toda la banda sonora me gusta pero mi preferida es la melodía “Hijo del corazón”, se las dejo para que la escuchen y recuerden su infancia.
