I think I’ve warned you in great detail about possible spoilers, and that’s because I don’t know how to talk about this without mentioning some interesting scenes that are quite shocking in Season 1 of the famous series called LIONESS.
Let’s be honest—you’ve probably already seen a trailer or a few clips on social media, or maybe this is the first time you’ve heard about this series. You shouldn’t watch it if you’re around children or sensitive people, since some scenes contain very graphic content.
Creo haber advertido con lujos de detalle sobre posibles spoilers, y se debe a que no sé cómo narrar esto sin mencionar algunas escenas interesantes que son impactantes en la temporada número 1 de la famosa serie llamada LIONESS.
Seamos sinceros, posiblemente ya has visto algún tráiler o algunas escenas en redes sociales, o posiblemente esta sea la primera vez que te enteres sobre esta serie, la cual no debes ver si te encuentras rodeado de niños o personas sensibles, ya que hay contenido muy fuerte en algunas escenas.
This is a series about military espionage, which reveals the dark side of special forces—and this is worth noting, since they often employ the best tactics to circumvent certain rules of what is considered “the law,” all in order to protect the nation from potential threats.
The first mission is seemingly simple, yet it has its own level of complexity, as our protagonists must go through a series of steps to achieve their objectives, even as the situation becomes increasingly tense at the highest levels of command.
However, it’s fascinating to witness a blend of strategy and daring in their decision-making, as they strive for the best possible outcome.
At first, you feel a mix of helplessness, sadness, and compassion, and at times, you hate—or at least I hated—JOE because I felt she was very ruthless and unfair, even though what she was trying to do to our female protagonist was somewhat understandable.
Esto es una serie que se trata sobre espionaje militar, el cual deja ver que existe un lado oscuro de lo que son las fuerzas especiales, y esto es de notarse, ya que suelen tener las mejores tácticas para eludir ciertas reglas de lo que se considera la "ley" y todo esto con el fin de que protegen a la nación de posibles amenazas.
La primera misión es totalmente sencilla, pero con su grado de complejidad, ya que nuestros protagonistas requieren pasar por una serie de procesos para cumplir los objetivos a pesar de que la situación se pone color de hormiga en el alto mando.
Sin embargo, es interesante ver una jugada de estrategia y osadía al momento de realizar una toma de decisiones, esperando a tener el mejor de los resultados.
Al principio sientes una mezcla de impotencia, tristeza, compasión y, por momentos, odias o, al menos, odié a JOE porque sentí que era muy despiadada e injusta, aunque era un tanto comprensible lo que trataba de hacer con nuestra chica protagonista.
This fabulous series begins with a girl who appears to be a victim of abuse until one day she decides to run away; that’s when she ends up at some offices where a soldier protects her and tells her she’s come to the right place.
From here on, we see our girl’s evolution—she seems to have gone from being a victim to someone capable of defending herself against any attacker; however, everything seems to indicate that she has trouble analyzing or thinking, or that something is missing in that area, making her act so foolishly—to the point where she’s capable of putting her life at risk again in the most foolish way possible (or at least that’s what I think).
La fabulosa serie inicia con una chica que al parecer es víctima de abuso hasta que un día decide salir corriendo y es allí donde llega a unas oficinas donde es protegida por un militar y le dice que ha llegado al lugar correcto.
A partir de aquí vemos la evolución de nuestra chica, quien al parecer ha pasado de ser víctima a alguien capaz de defenderse de cualquier agresor; sin embargo, todo parece indicar que nuestra chica tiene problemas para analizar, pensar o algo le falta allí para que no sea como tan estúpida, al nivel de que es capaz de poner su vida en riesgo nuevamente y de la forma más estúpida (o al menos eso pienso)
Without a doubt, I think it would have been nice to see our girl take part in missions that showcase all those skills she claims to have, and to see her caught up in escape scenarios where she’d have had the chance to make it very clear that she wasn’t just any girl—and to portray her as a vital asset to the LIONESS agency.
Another point worth noting is that our heroine gets romantically involved, and this confuses me a bit, because I’d think that after all the abuse she went through, she’d have—or would find a way to—control her feelings and come back as tough as nails or something like that.
I really think that in Season 1, the characters’ storylines could have been developed better and presented a wider range of options that would have made the show more ruthless, compelling, and interesting for drama lovers.
Sin duda, pienso que hubiese sido agradable ver a nuestra chica estar presente en misiones donde se destaquen todas esas habilidades que dice tener, y verse envuelta en situaciones de escapes donde hubiese tenido la oportunidad de dejar muy en claro que no era cualquier chica y hacerla ver como un activo muy importante para pertenecer a la agencia de LIONESS.
Otro factor a destacar es que nuestra chica se ve involucrada sentimentalmente y en este punto me confunde un poco, porque creería que por todo el abuso que vivió tendría o lograría encontrar la forma de dominar sus sentimientos y volver como de hierro o algo así.
Realmente pienso que en la temporada 1, pudo haberse desenvuelto mejor la trama de los personajes y presentar otra bandeja de opciones que lo hubiese vuelto más despiadado, atractivo e interesante para los amantes del drama.
No te voy a mentir, si hay muchas escenas que captaron mi atención e incluso pude analizar un poco el comportamiento de nuestra chica y el porqué se sentía como mostraba, sin embargo, pienso que el final de esta primera temporada pudo haber sido mejor, pudo habernos dado más acción, más romance, más suspenso, más intensidad que hiciera brotar las emociones del espectador.
Bien, creo que esto es mi pensar y me enfoque en transmitir solo eso para no liberar mucha información de la serie y así te animes a verla y puedas tener tu propia opinión de ella.
