Rubia es la última versión de Netflix sobre la vida de Marilyn Monroe y desde que supe que la transmitirán la anote entre mis favoritas para este año, esta película tiene una duración de 166 min, algo larga para mi gusto, pero bueno se trata de la vida de una persona que fue famosa y debe tener mucho que contar.

Comienza cuando ella era una niña pequeña y vivía con su madre, una persona con problemas depresivos a tal punto que fue hospitalizada por décadas y como resultado su hija vivió algunos años como huérfana, la relación entre ellas era de amor, pero la madre de Marilyn estaba tan perturbada que atentó contra la vida de su hija y no te diré la forma para no arruinarte la experiencia cuando la veas.

Esta niña creció con muchas carencias afectivas, estuvo toda su vida con la necesidad de saber quien era su padre, me imagino lo difícil que era en esa época ser una niña sin la presencia de un padre. Su madre le dijo que era un artista y que trabaja para los estudios de Hollywood según lo que entendí y de allí vendría esa pasión por alcanzar la fama.

Esta mujer fue víctima de entorno a dónde se metió y no tener alguien que la protegiera la hizo caer en lo más profundo, la soledad siempre fue su mejor compañía eso lo muestran muy bien en la película, ya que tienen poca relevancia los personajes de su madre y sus esposos para tener un enfoque total en la protagonista.

La actriz que la interpreta hizo un excelente trabajo porque pudo transmitir una Marilyn ingenua, apasionada y débil, sin exagerar se veía muy natural, sin forzar ninguna escena y hasta los mocos salieron a flote. 😆

Norma Jeane Mortenson fue la víctima de su propio personaje Marilyn y muchas veces se preguntaba por qué hacía lo que hacía, fue manipulada y manejada por otros hasta el punto de la violación. La pérdida de sus embarazos la sumergió en una depresión profunda, estaba casada cuando falleció y era como si estuviera sola, la soledad y la depresión la dejaron sin vida antes de que muriera físicamente.

Para finalizar, porque no quiero hacer spoiler Maliyn fue engañada por muchos años con lo más sagrado, algo que la ilusionaba desde niña, la usaron, engañaron y se burlaron de ella hasta el final por venganza y de alguien muy especial, por ese dolor justificó su posible suicidio, empatizando con este personaje.

This little girl grew up with many emotional deficiencies, she was all her life with the need to know who her father was, I can imagine how difficult it was at that time to be a child without the presence of a father. Her mother told her that he was an artist and that he worked for Hollywood studios, as far as I understood, and that is where her passion for fame came from.

This woman was a victim of the environment she got into and not having someone to protect her made her fall into the deepest, loneliness was always her best company and this is shown very well in the film, as the characters of her mother and her husbands have little relevance to have a total focus on the protagonist.

The actress who plays her did an excellent job because she was able to transmit a naive, passionate and weak Marilyn, without exaggerating she looked very natural, without forcing any scene and even the snot came out. 😆

Que me gusto

Las secuencia de escenas monocromáticas que le dieron un toque de época a la película y usado también en los momentos más sombríos de la protagonista.

Que las escenas sexuales no fueran explícitas y los efectos usados estuvieron acordes.

Que incluyeran la icónica escena de Marilyn y la alcantarilla con la brisa levantando el vestido

La visión del espectador desde los ojos de Marilyn en sus momentos de dopaje y desesperación.

Que no me gustó

El tiempo de la película, fue excesivamente largo e innecesario para lo que quisieron contar, creo que rellenaron y repitieron para extenderse. Su comienzo fue bueno, pero la primera hora se me hizo eterna, me aburrí, a mitad mejoraron y luego se volvió a poner lenta.

Que omitieran la parte donde le canta cumpleaños al presidente Kennedy, que yo esperaba ansiosa para cantarla como ella. 😏😒

Me pareció aburrida, hicieron énfasis en su depresión, pero nada más, allí no hubo alegría por sus triunfos, ni la emoción por nuevos proyectos, ni por el ascenso de su vida artística, ni siquiera cuando se comprometió o se casó. No creo que su vida fuera tan aburrida como la muestran.

What I liked

The sequence of monochromatic scenes that gave the film a vintage touch and also used in the darkest moments of the protagonist.

That the sexual scenes were not explicit and the effects used were in accordance.

That they included the iconic scene of Marilyn and the sewer with the breeze lifting her dress.

The viewer's vision from the eyes of Marilyn in her moments of doping and despair.

What I didn't like

The length of the film, it was excessively long and unnecessary for what they wanted to tell, I think they padded and repeated to extend. The beginning was good, but the first hour took forever, I got bored, in the middle they improved and then it got slow again.

They left out the part where she sings President Kennedy's birthday, which I was looking forward to singing it like her. 😏😒

I found it boring, they emphasized her depression, but nothing else, there was no joy for her triumphs, no excitement for new projects, no excitement for the rise of her artistic life, not even when she got engaged or married. I don't think his life was as dull as it is portrayed.
