It's a great pleasure to find myself back on this wonderful Hive platform. Please accept my warmest greetings, which I also extend to the fantastic project at https://scrobble.life/. Welcome to this review, which is always about the greatest band England has ever given the world: The Beatles.
This time I'm going to talk about a contradictory, controversial, yet extraordinary song, both for its lyrics, music, and what it expresses. I'm referring to the song "Rain," a superb track recorded for the Revolver album sessions, but not included on it. Instead, it was released as a single in July 1966 along with the song "Paperback Writer," the latter being the A-side and "Rain" the B-side.
I was impressed by the experimental recording techniques, as they were already experimenting with vocals and instruments played in reverse. Everything was constantly being innovated, and sometimes LSD took center stage back then. That's why I said at the beginning that the song is controversial, since it's always been claimed that this track was a product of hallucinations induced by this drug. Whether or not that claim is true doesn't detract from the fact that they were excellent and unique musicians, because for me, that's circumstantial.
Leaving aside the previous point, it's a pleasure for me to hear Ringo's drums, perfectly synchronized, along with the chords and vocals of Lennon, McCartney, and Harrison in the backing vocals, and of course, the rhythm guitar, bass, and lead guitar, respectively, all under George Martin's direction.
Three promotional videos were made for this song, and today I'm presenting one of them. Returning to the topic of music videos, in a way they were precursors to what the world would later know as MTV. I believe this, and many critics agree, so this is another of the virtues of the long-haired lads from Liverpool. Of the three videos, one was filmed in black and white. Listening to Lennon's lead vocals treated with a kind of background that included slowing them down so that when played on a normal device, it sounded as if the singer were immersed in a rainy or difficult environment... How ingenious and wonderful they are...!!!... This magnificent song was recorded in London at EMI Studios, and the video I'm sharing with you was filmed in the gardens of Chiswick House, London.
Well, my dear audience, I hope you enjoyed this review, made with much love for all of you. Receive my sincerest hug, and have a good time. We'll read and see each other again soon. Until next time... Blessings!

🔍 What is it about?
Pulp Fiction established itself as a milestone in crime and dark comedy cinema by intertwining the lives of a peculiar cast of misfits and criminals; two hitmen, a declining boxer, a gangster's wife, and a pair of small-time robbers.
Through a deliberately fractured chronological structure, Quentin Tarantino interweaves the fates of a journey of unforgettable characters, a temporal puzzle that defies the conventions of the genre and forces the viewer to reconstruct the story.
Quentin Tarantino's work stands out for its unmistakable aesthetic. The film is sustained by agile dialogue that deals with everyday trivialities, brutally contrasting with outbursts of stylized violence.
Accompanied by an iconic soundtrack, the film captivates from an irreverent tone in its dialogue, where the absurd and the lethal coexist in the same scene, granting its characters a charisma that transcends their criminal nature.
Deep down, the film is a celebration of chance and consequences, packaged with an originality that changed nineties cinema.

🎥 Why watch it?
Approaching Pulp Fiction is almost an obligation if you enjoy unforgettable characters that reveal themselves little by little, scripts with sharp and uncomfortable themes and stances, and a signature that marks every scene.
Tarantino achieves the miracle of making a discussion about trivialities carry the same electric charge as a heist, endowing his criminals with an almost hypnotic fascination and turning the everyday into discursive aggressions.
Beyond its undeniable influence on contemporary cinema, the film seduces through the way it deconstructs the work, which the viewer resolves as the scenes progress, its mix of genres, and a soundtrack that is pure pop culture that marks a milestone for those years.
It is a catalog of iconic moments that stick in the memory.
Of course, like any great transgressive work, it has its fine print; its mix of raw violence and dark humor requires a strong stomach.
It is not a film for sensitive viewers, but for those who dare to enjoy chaos with a smile on their lips.

💡 What nobody tells you
Not in a Hollywood office, but from the imagination of Quentin Tarantino and Roger Avary, Pulp Fiction was born, inspired by pulp magazines (cheap novels of crime, sex, and exaggerated dialogue). What began as a script written partly from Amsterdam and was shot for barely 8.5 million dollars, ended up grossing more than 200 million and redefining nineties cinema.
Its secret was not only the content, but the form. The film bets on a circular and disordered structure that shows us a character's death before seeing him live, forcing us to reassemble the puzzle. Thus we discover that the beginning in the coffee shop is not a beginning, but a farewell that the protagonists ignore.
Behind every iconic character there is an anecdote. John Travolta was a risk that the studios rejected, but Tarantino saw in him the clumsiness and charisma perfect for Vincent Vega, catapulting him back to fame.
Samuel L. Jackson, for his part, was about to lose the role of Jules; he recovered it in a second audition where, annoyed and confused with another actor, he used a real hamburger as a prop, injecting a natural fury that shielded his character.
Bruce Willis secured his role as Butch with a phrase that became legend on set, "The shortest phrase in the Bible is 'Jesus wept.' The shortest phrase in Hollywood is 'I'm in.'"
Uma Thurman, with her elegance and danger, became the visual emblem of the film, while Tim Roth and Amanda Plummer were directed to seem like children playing at being criminals, elevating the unease of their scene.
The film is sprinkled with icons that transcended the screen.
The briefcase that emits a golden light is the perfect MacGuffin; its contents (diamonds? gold? The truth is, it's not important) matter less than the power it exerts over whoever looks at it, a clear homage to 1950s film noir.
The dance of Travolta and Thurman at the retro Jack Rabbit Slim's is a direct nod to Godard, where the tension of two criminals disguises itself as pop innocence.
Even the costumes tell a story. Vincent and Jules wear identical black suits that turn them into replaceable pieces of crime (Reservoir Dogs), while Mia Wallace's look places her as a lethal mix of movie star and French rebel.
The camera hides in the trunk of a car to unsettle the viewer, and the famous adrenaline injection scene was filmed in reverse to achieve that brutal impact.
Tarantino even reserves a cameo for himself as Jimmy, the exasperated friend who grounds the criminal madness with domestic concerns, reminding us that, after the glamour of crime, only chaos remains. Notable are the Big Kahuna burgers, the Red Apple cigarettes, or the theories about the Vega brothers and their soul locked in a briefcase whose code is 666.

No.

💬 Opinion
There are films that are enjoyed and other films that are lived the first time you see them. Pulp Fiction belongs to that second category; it is one of those charismatic films that deeply captivate and mark an entire era, and that is its influence.
Its dialogue is quoted as if they were proverbs, its characters occupy space in the collective memory (do you remember the meme of Travolta looking both ways?) and its way of narrating turns the apparently trivial into pure narrative tension.
Is it perfect?
No.
It may seem excessive, violent, or even like just a stylistic whim that demands too much patience. Its disordered structure disconcerts viewers accustomed to being guided through the story, and its dark humor doesn't always land where one expects.
It is a film that asks for complicity, and not everyone is willing to grant it.
But even those who leave it with mixed feelings should give it a chance.
Because Pulp Fiction is a cultural phenomenon that redefined what independent cinema could be in the nineties. Its music, its rhythm, its audacity, and that unique ability to mix a banal conversation with an outburst of violence keep it alive, fresh, and relevant.

Life is not easy for most artists; despite having it all, they sometimes face family issues and addictions that can impact their careers. This is reflected in the 2018 film A Star Is Born (with a runtime of 136 minutes), starring Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper; more than just a musical, it portrays the love story between Jack and Ally.
Jack is a country singer with incredible talent and a voice that leaves you spellbound; he has it all—money, fame, and people constantly around him. Yet, there is a void in his love life, and—worst of all—he is mired in alcohol and drug abuse, a situation that has caused problems in both his personal life and his music career. I realized that events from his past led him down this path in adulthood, yet despite everything, he was attentive toward Ally.
Meanwhile, Ally—a young woman hiding a talent and struggling to believe in herself—is discovered by Jack one day. Love enters both their lives; they accompany and support one another. It wasn't a perfect relationship, yet they tried to work through their problems, despite Jack's addiction. At first, I thought it would be a fleeting romance, but in reality, she loved him deeply. I could see the connection between them through the music.
I really liked this movie because it shows that being an artist isn't necessarily easy; in Jack's case, he struggled with alcohol abuse but found solace in Ally. At the same time, she fought for her own dreams and helped him get better. The ending left me feeling a bit nostalgic because I had expected something different. It is a very good film that offers a profound message: there is so much talent in the world—and everyone expresses it in their own way—but vices are dangerous and destroy one's mental, physical, and emotional health.
I anticipated Zootopia 2 and when I finally watched it, I was so happy to return to the colourful and crazy world of Zootopia , it felt like meeting old friends again.Following the success of the first movie, they really did a good job in expanding the story without losing the charm and humour that made the original so memorable.
The movie followed Judy Hopps and Nick Wilde working side by side as they continued their work as police partners. They met on opposite sides of the law in the first film, but after Nick joined the police department, they became partners. Although they had already developed a strong bond, their relationship remained complicated. Their different personalities, made it impossible for them to work together peacefully. Judy remained ambitious, energetic and determined to do everything by the book, while Nick continued to rely on his intelligence, sarcasm and nonchalant approach to life. But those challenges helped them grow.
Judy was one the most interesting characters in the movie. She was smart, stubborn , determined, courageous and she never allowed people's opinion discourage her. Even as a rabbit, despite being small in size and I think she was also the smallest in her profession, she was often underestimated but she continued to prove herself.
Nick on the other hand was an extroverted fox. He was part of the comic reliefs of the movie. His jokes and relaxed personality made many scenes enjoyable. But beneath his humour, he had an inferiority complex that made him constantly feel like he didn't belong and he was also emotionally insecure. He got used to having no friends and people judging him simply because he was a fox.
As the movie progressed, they learnt to set their difference aside, appreciate and understand one another. Together, they became stronger and unstoppable. All it took was a conversation and a willingness to understand. There are a lot of different animals out there, and sometimes we start to look at all the little reasons that we’re not the same. And it makes us worry. But maybe if we just talked to each other, if we just tried to understand one another, we would see that our differences don’t really make any difference at all. Maybe we’d even see that what makes me me, and you you, can make us even stronger.”
The characters, Judy and Nick, portrayed that despite having different personalities, backgrounds, religions, beliefs, we should learn to accommodate each other and be more understanding, trusting of one another and learn to stop judging people based on assumptions. It's going to be hard, but it's worth it. Because change starts with us. Overall, Zootopia 2 was an enjoyable sequel that combined comedy, adventure and an important message about accepting people for who they were.Be kind to one another, do the right thing and believe in yourself.
Hi everyone! There are some movies we simply love so much that we enjoy watching them over and over again. Years ago, while looking for something to watch one night, I decided to give a chance to a film I initially wasn't sure about; however, I ended up loving it so much that I was already tearing up halfway through. You see, I have to admit that I really love musicals. It’s one of those unique tastes I have within my family—and since I’m the only one who likes them, I usually watch them alone. Far from being a bad thing, this actually allows me to fully immerse myself in the emotions being conveyed, and this movie certainly succeeds at that—and does so brilliantly—through both its music and its plot. So, feeling inspired while listening to one of my favorite songs from the film, I’d like to share my thoughts on The Greatest Showman.
Written by Michael Arndt, directed by Michael Gracey, and produced by Laurence Mark, Chernin Entertainment, and Seed Productions—with distribution by 20th Century Fox—this 2017 musical runs for 90 minutes. It tells a beautiful story centered on the idea that dreams can come true—no matter what they are—provided the intention is there. The film focuses on the life of Phineas Taylor Barnum; after a determined journey to be with the love of his life, he finds himself in a job that consumes him and leaves him feeling stagnant. However, the music, imagination, and passion he has harbored since childhood eventually drive him to gradually build what would become the ultimate musical entertainment spectacle.
For me, this movie is simply a work of art—mostly because whenever I see it on TV, I get excited like a little girl; I start singing along to every song and watching the story intently, so I never find it boring or tedious to watch over and over. I love it when not only the plot is good but the music is too—when those two elements blend so perfectly that we remember the film not just for its story, but for its elegant musical artistry. I listen to the soundtrack a lot, and some of the tracks are on my go-to mood-boosting playlist—like the movie's main theme or one of my absolute favorites, "The Other Side" (a song so good that I’ve even listened to various covers of it).
Moving beyond the music aspect, the story follows several paths—some that might seem straightforward, yet all reflecting the realities of life and its setbacks. There is also a touch of fantasy that, surprisingly, captivated me completely. I must admit I’m not usually one for fantasy elements in romance, but the protagonist’s love story is simply beautiful; it serves as a reminder that if we truly want someone, we can make it happen, while also showing how life tests us—even when we think nothing can topple what we believe to be solid and stable.
Furthermore, the film offers various lessons—touching upon stigma and physical appearance, or the "irregularities" of a body that need not be considered strange. It explores the journey toward self-love in a judgmental world and the fear of rejection—whether stemming from race, gender, or limitations—when trying to pursue a dream or follow a path dictated by society. Above all, it is a powerful testament to rising up after everything seems lost, achieving something greater and better than before, and moving forward with a clearer perspective and fewer insecurities. This movie is a treasure trove of life lessons, viewed through both a childlike lens that inspires and an adult perspective that finds direction and purpose in a life once thought lost or already mapped out by others.

The horror genre has been a cinematic classic for decades, adapting over the years to different concepts and formats. A horror story in which a killer seeks revenge or a ghost story has had its moment to shine on the big screen, but someone came up with the idea of mixing those elements and combining them in a format never before seen in modern cinema: viewing the story through a laptop screen.
Released in 2014 under the direction of Levan Gabriadze, “Unfriended” was an experiment that, like the first “Paranormal Activity” film, became a trend because it was completely different from what audiences were used to seeing in theaters, making it a box-office success. It was a production and post-production challenge, since the entire story unfolds within the frame of a computer screen; therefore, its quality depended on audience acceptance.
This film pioneered the Screenlife format, turning a computer operating system’s graphical interface into the film’s main setting. The camera does not move freely through a physical space; instead, the narrative is conveyed through cursor movements, browser tabs, instant-messaging programs, and Skype video calls. Unlike found footage, this perspective gives viewers both a broad and intimate view, as if they were seeing through the protagonist’s eyes. Traditional editing is replaced by the speed at which she types, deletes messages, or selects programs on her desktop.
The story begins one year after the tragic suicide of Laura Barns, a high school student who took her own life after an embarrassing video of her was shared on social media. The video went viral and ruined the girl’s life. A group of six school friends gathers for a late-night Skype call to chat normally, but the presence of an anonymous user operating through the deceased Laura’s account makes them extremely nervous.
What initially appears to be a hacker’s cruel prank turns into a paranormal nightmare. The mysterious entity takes control of their electronic devices and forces them to participate in a game of truth or dare, threatening to reveal their darkest secrets and inflict fatal consequences on anyone who chooses to end the video call.
I imagine that making a horror film centered on digital life was what made it so famous, since at the time it was very common to use Facebook and Skype to socialize. Today, things have shifted toward WhatsApp and Instagram, which means the film no longer has the same modern digital-era aesthetic, because times change very quickly.
The film abandoned conventional filming methods. The cast filmed in a single house but in separate rooms, communicating in real time through computers during long continuous takes that lasted up to ninety minutes. The production required the timing of on-screen notifications, email alerts, and the integration of web interfaces that were current at the time to be carefully coordinated. Thanks to the practical effects, the production did not rely on expensive visual effects. Essentially, the real production challenge was simulating a webcam during a video call; special effects were even used to recreate Skype’s notoriously poor image quality.
The film combines classic paranormal horror with the dynamism of social media. In “Unfriended,” the supernatural exists within the digital ecosystem. It is not simply an invisible presence that throws objects across the room; it resembles an omniscient and omnipresent ghost capable of using platforms such as Facebook and YouTube like an expert cyber hacker to torment its victims.
The specter does not need to physically manifest in the room to cause terror; its presence is felt in every notification, attachment, and alteration to a webpage. In this way, the film updates the conventions of the found-footage genre. By playing with the suspense of “what cannot be seen with the naked eye,” it creates overwhelming tension.
Beyond its horror elements, the film also functions as a social critique, showing how digital communication platforms can become destructive tools when confronted with the emotional fragility of young people. It exposes the cruelty of cyberbullying, a harsh reality that continues to affect society today. The contrast between the façade teenagers construct on their profiles and the truth they hide in their private chats reflects the harmful social habits of 2014—and ones that still persist.
The indifference created by the distance of a screen amplifies human mistakes, while the constant search for social approval becomes a deadly trap in which self-esteem is left at the mercy of the crowd’s judgment.
To conclude, regarding the acting, the cast delivers convincing performances that adapt well to the narrative circumstances. The actors convey a natural and intense progression of emotions, ranging from hysteria to paranoia.
Since they perform almost entirely in close-up, in front of a webcam, the cast cannot rely on dramatic shots or even camera movements to enhance their performances. Instead, they depend solely on reactions, such as distressed glances at the keyboard and voices that crack as the tension rises. Although the characters fall into certain stereotypes of youth horror cinema, the cast’s performances firmly sustain the realism necessary for the anguish on screen to feel genuine.

Hello Beautiful People. I hope you all are doing great. So I have just finished washing Vincenzo, and this might be my first watch from Korean TV show. To be honest, I loved the whole experience of it. Episodes were somewhat lengthy, but it was a joyful watch.
The Plot
The plot follows Vincenzo Casano, a Korean man, who was adopted by the Italian family. He eventually becomes a consigliere (difficult word to remember) for the Mafia. After an inside conflict, he returns to South Korea. He is here for something hidden beneath the Geumga Plaza. That something is a huge amount of gold secretly stored underneath the building. But the plaza is about to be taken over by Babel Group, a richy rich one. The Group is powerful and uses every way to take over it.
At first, the show really felt like a casual one. You know the same mafia stuff. In some manner it is that way. But still it is different too. At the Plaza, he meets Hong Cha Young, a lawyer. Her personality revolves around winning than morality. While her father is the one who cares more about morality. He fights the Babel Group through legitimate means. But after his death, Miss Young and Vincenzo takes over the legality. And this whole thing mixed with comedy made the whole experience a fun watch.
It is funny to see that a criminal, Vincenzo, is fighting other criminals. But because he is good looking, and the main lead, so he is the hero.
And the tenants, who initially look like comic stuff, slowly become part of Vincenzo's little army. They were real laughter.
The Characters
Vincenzo is played by Joong ki. He is a hero, so the centre of everything. He carries the character with that strange calm and elegant attitude. His personality is so charming, he can stand in a room without saying anything, and still steals the show. The beautiful thing about his character is that he does not become a good person in just one episode. It takes time for him. Otherwise, intially, he is violent and ruthless. And he also thinks of himself as anti-hero. Furthermore, the lighter thing. I am a big fan of that.
Young character is played by Jeon Yeo Been. She also has her own sort of transformation. And she is really pretty. At first, the pretty lady is selfish, loud and dramatic. But after some time, she becomes like her father. But if I say this right, her intial character was fun for me. I mean comedic.
And together both of these characters are like made for each other.
Themes
Justice and morality is the big one in this. Just shown through some humor and goofy way. Through their character the real human is also in there. Vincenzo is a criminal, so does the Babel Group. And they are well suited. So the concept here is not just one man or group but the whole system. The show indirectly states that this whole system is corrupt. But there are good people as well. They maybe bad, but there is still goodness in them.
Another theme is wealth and power. Both sides, hero and villain, express this thing. But the Group is more powerful. But the hero knows his way to defeat, and he did.
Finally, the theme of family. The tenants are at first totally strangers. But as the show progress, they all act as one family. Caring for each other, helping main lead to win. There interest is also there, because otherwise they will just lose everything.
In the end, the main reason I like this show is it being a comedic court style. It is not just a non fiction type. It does get serious at points, but it never let the audience get bored.
My first try with the Korean watch, and it was worth it.
Greetings, dear friends of scrobbledlife. Today I want to share something different with you—a little bit about my musical tastes. One song in particular came to mind when I heard it, and I said to myself, “I have to share my thoughts on this song.” It has deep lyrics and a meaningful message, which I really like. I have to admit that I heard it while I was going through something very personal, and that’s what made me fall in love with it at the time.
Justin Bieber is undoubtedly a unique and global artist; many people know who he is, and he’s had plenty of controversial songs. This time, one of my favorites from his repertoire is “Love Yourself.” It speaks sarcastically about a narcissistic and toxic ex-partner. I like the part where he says, “Love yourself,” subtly implying, “Get lost.”
Now I ask you, who hasn’t been in a toxic relationship? Who hasn’t had someone that not everyone liked, but you were blinded by love? Who hasn’t had a narcissist in their life?
And if you haven’t, congratulations—you’re blessed by God and have truly been happy in life, hahaha.
Here are the lyrics to the song “Love Yourself”
For all the times that you rained on my parade
And all the clubs you get in using my name
You think you broke my heart, oh girl, for goodness′ sake
You think I'm crying on my own, well, I ain′t
And I didn't wanna write a song
'Cause I didn′t want anyone thinkin′ I still care, I don't, but
You still hit my phone up
And baby, I′ll be movin' on
And I think you should be somethin′ I don't wanna hold back
Maybe you should know that
My mama don′t like you and she likes everyone
And I never like to admit that I was wrong
And I've been so caught up in my job
Didn't see what′s going on, but now I know
I′m better sleeping on my own
'Cause if you like the way you look that much
Oh baby, you should go and love yourself
And if you think that I′m still holdin' on to somethin′
You should go and love yourself
But when you told me that you hated my friends
The only problem was with you and not them
And every time you told me my opinion was wrong
And tried to make me forget where I came from
And I didn't wanna write a song
′Cause I didn't want anyone thinkin' I still care, I don′t, but
You still hit my phone up
And baby, I′ll be movin' on
And I think you should be somethin′ I don't wanna hold back
Maybe you should know that
My mama don′t like you and she likes everyone
And I never like to admit that I was wrong
And I've been so caught up in my job
Didn′t see what's going on, but now I know
I'm better sleeping on my own
′Cause if you like the way you look that much
Oh baby, you should go and love yourself
And if you think that I′m still holdin' on to somethin′
You should go and love yourself
For all the times that you made me feel small
I fell in love, now I feel nothin' at all
I never felt so low and I was vulnerable
Was I a fool to let you break down my walls?
′Cause if you like the way you look that much
Oh baby, you should go and love yourself
And if you think that I'm still holdin′ on to somethin'
You should go and love yourself
'Cause if you like the way you look that much
Oh baby, you should go and love yourself (yeah)
And if you think (you think) that I′m (that I′m)
Still holdin' on to somethin′ (holdin' on, no)
You should go and love yourself
Y, nena, he estado siguiendo adelante
Y creo que deberías ser algo
No quiero retenerte
Tal vez deberías saber eso
No le gustas a mi mamá
Y a ella le gustan todos
Y nunca me gusta admitir
Que estoy equivocado
Y he estado tan ocupado en mi trabajo
Estoy mejor durmiendo solo
Oh, amor, deberías ir y amarte a ti misma
Y si piensas que todavía estoy aferrándome a algo
Deberías ir y amarte a ti misma
Y, nena, he estado siguiendo adelante
Y creo que deberías ser algo
No quiero retenerte
Tal vez deberías saber eso
No le gustas a mi mamá
Y a ella le gustan todos
Y nunca me gusta admitir
Que estoy equivocado
Y he estado tan ocupado en mi trabajo
Estoy mejor durmiendo solo
Oh, amor, deberías ir y amarte a ti misma
Y si piensas que todavía estoy aferrándome a algo
Deberías ir y amarte a ti misma
Me enamoré, ahora no siento nada
Oh, amor, deberías ir y amarte a ti misma
Y si piensas que todavía estoy aferrándome a algo
Deberías ir y amarte a ti misma
Oh, amor, deberías ir y amarte a ti misma
Y si piensas que todavía estoy (estoy) aferrándome a algo
Deberías ir y amarte a ti misma
An interesting fact about these lyrics is that they were co-written by Ed Sheeran, Justin Bieber, and Benjamin Kevin and produced by Benny Blanco.
I have a few thoughts on these lyrics—for example, they talk about all the times she ruined different moments in his life, and even though he’s still looking for her, he decides to say, “Not this time.” One of the parts I loved is where he says, “My mom doesn’t like you, and she likes everyone”—he’s referring to the other person’s flaws, which were obvious to everyone except him. There are many things that really resonated with me personally at the time, like the idea of saying, “I’m better off sleeping alone,” or “when you told me you hated my friends, the only problem was you, not them”—I took that very personally, and it’s all so true.
Other lines I liked were “you should go and love yourself”—suggesting that if she’s doing wrong, she should take a look at herself—and others like “I don’t want to hold you back; maybe you should know that,” “for all the times you made me feel small,” and “was I a fool for letting you tear down my walls?” All of them were key reasons for me to keep listening to the song and remembering things I shouldn’t let happen anymore.

Rage of Stars (2026): Apocalyptic Dreams. There are people who have disturbing dreams about events that might be happening or could happen at any moment; the problem is that these dreams can be so unsettling that they gradually destroy your life and your career if no one can understand you or come to a mutual understanding of what you’re going through. Those traumas, obsessions, visions, and the uncertainty of what’s happening drive you to the point where you freeze in the middle of action. That’s why the 2026 film Rage of Stars definitely focuses on the issues mentioned above; it’s such a low-budget production that it’s impossible to compete with the big players in the market; however, the thriller, action, drama, and science fiction elements are what make this film great, drawing us into a web of intrigue when it comes to apocalyptic events.
A film by director Lukasz Rog, who steps away from the everyday and helps us understand that if you simply look up at the sky thinking of an inevitable catastrophe, you’ll realize that true chaos begins on Earth—and specifically in the mind of the protagonist, Jemma. In short, it’s a film that must be analyzed from start to finish, and although at first glance you might think it’s about military action—since we see a special elite unit—you’d be mistaken in that regard. It’s true that there’s action; however, the real purpose of the events is to make us, the audience, understand whether we’ve truly internalized what we’re seeing. If you’ve understood it, you’ll see that the next step will be even more interesting.
Definitely; Rage of Stars is a movie whose theme goes beyond the feeling that we’re at the mercy of the end of the world; because if you get into the plot, you’ll realize that carrying such a huge trauma and being misunderstood completely changes your life. Simply put, the plot reflects a desperate search to make sense of what’s happening—to figure out whether you’re dreaming or if this is truly the harsh reality the world is about to face. Naturally, you feel frustrated because you’re surrounded by people who don’t believe you; in other words, you’re alone even though you’re right. A film that freezes the action to delve into a person’s dilemma, with the sole mission of deciphering what they’re perceiving; this makes us active participants throughout the entire plot.
At the heart of this whole dilemma is Jemma (Andrea Tivadar), a member of an international special operations unit—supposedly the best. She’s a young woman who not only faces an external force but must also battle everything she’s experiencing on a sensory level; her dreams, her premonitions—everything affects her. She has no trouble facing any enemy; the problem arises when she has to face herself.
Alongside her are Luk (Jord Knotter), Kriss (Jack McEvoy), Tom (Elijah Rowen), and La Comandante (Małgorzata Klara) as Commander. They all have to deal with Jemma, whose actions begin to raise doubts and lead to her being misunderstood—especially when she’s the only one who perceives what others don’t. Each of them plays their part with extremely believable performances—let’s not forget that the budget is low—yet every performance is considered excellent.
Meanwhile, Jemma continues to have her apocalyptic dreams and premonitions, which, unsurprisingly, are the focus of attention as they threaten to destroy her career and credibility. Elsewhere, child abductions are taking place; apparently, a gang is responsible, and we don’t know the purpose behind these disappearances or whether they’re connected to Jemma’s premonitions. For example, a mother takes her son to a soccer practice; she can’t stay with him, and in the hallways, two people—apparently janitors—take the child away as easily as taking out the trash. At first, it appears the child is being exchanged solely for money, but what happens after this exchange is unknown.
In a parallel operation, the elite special operations unit launches a pursuit of the alleged kidnappers. They manage to intercept them with the sole mission of capturing the leader—the others don’t matter; you already know what that means. Now, two criminals escape, and Jemma has orders to eliminate them. She takes up her position, but the trauma she carries prevents her from carrying out the mission. In light of this, Kriss takes up a sniper position and, as you’d expect, takes them out; this guy’s ego is through the roof—he’s way too arrogant. The mission is complete, and they take the target in for questioning; Jemma puts her job on the line, and you’ll see why later on.
Incredible, horrifying, and intriguing things really do happen in the movie, and rather than just presenting mere action scenes, these events lead you to think about many things. They aren’t puzzles you have to piece together—everything is already in place; you just have to understand and make sense of it from the perspective that we are the visionaries. Now, all of this can raise many questions, and one of them is: Are the visions of events that are yet to come, or are they merely dreams? Are these visions the answer to something inevitable, or are they simply more questions? I say this because whenever visions exist, they’re supposed to be so perfect that we receive them solely to foreshadow what’s going to happen. In this case, that’s not true, because these visions could simply cause personal chaos, completely shattering our confidence. That’s what happens to Jemma, who is still unable to interpret them.
As for the setting, the action takes place in various locations—countryside, cities, sports centers—places that are seemingly welcoming but function perfectly as hotbeds of trauma and chaos. These well-crafted images depict places shaped by a future that is far from pleasant, at least according to what one can infer from Jemma’s visions. Will the future of this world be one of light and happiness, or are we simply waiting for total chaos? Because if you stop to analyze what the title says—looking up at the sky in search of a star to guide us—it could be a sign of a cosmic threat; that is fury.
I certainly love movies where you have to piece together the puzzle through in-depth analysis; however, this often isn’t necessary to prove that a plot is really good. What matters is that the story sparks a healthy discussion among viewers about the subject—and even better, that everyone has a valid point, meaning the discussion is endless. Many theories will emerge, along with plenty of reasoning and debate, making it clear that the movie was worth watching. “Rage of Stars” delivers all of this; because if you think it’s just explosions and gunfire, you’re wrong—the underlying drama is massive and worthy of discussion. Plus, there are many details you’ll need to decipher due to the presence of some truly bizarre events. Best regards, and see you soon.

Rage of Stars (2026): Sueños Apocalípticos.
Junto a ella tenemos a Luk (Jord Knotter), Kriss (Jack McEvoy), Tom (Elijah Rowen) y La Comandante (Małgorzata Klara) como Commander.

When I watch the thriller of the mongoose before downloading it, I thought it's going to be a very high action movie because the actor that did this mongoose happens to be someone that like to shoot action movie alot, and sometimes I don't even watch or read documentaries about movies once I know the actors and he's someone I like to see their movies.
One thing about the mongoose movie is about the car chasing for more than a day, it's all started with a flash back of what has happened to captain Flanagan, formal united states American army and his team mates. They were soldiers and they carry out operations which they are so good at. One particular day, they were on operation in Afghanistan and they entered the enemy zones just as usual, but this time around things goes south for them as their helicopter was shot down by RPG.
They were caught and captured by the enemy of Afghanistan, they were tortured, and do all sort of things to them, meanwhile their country is yet to come and safe them. The Afghanistan enemy took one of them, the one among them all and he's name is Wiz , the enemy use a poisonous snake to bite him and he was unconscious, it was the time of Flanagan, and was able to killed them and get away from the poisonous snake, he rescued all his remaining friends but when they were waiting for the air support to come and take them home, that was when Wiz lost his life. This happens to break Flanagan and the rest of the team because he was so loved.
When they got back to the states, that was when Flanagan was accused of murder, and he claimed he didn't do it. But no one could believe him only his ex wife and his friends. They were chasing him and for days Flanagan was on chase by the police, both air and land. At the point he wanted to be captured, his friends then took an helicopter to support him. Even the citizens were supporting him because he's a man of honor in his country.

If you are looking for a movie with high chase and intelligence driving, then mongoose is a movie you can watch and enjoy.
There’s no doubt about it: that feeling of sharing a film from my childhood with my daughter and seeing her enjoy it just as much as I remember doing is pure gold. The first time I saw this film, I remember going with my dad to a video club you know, one of those old-fashioned ones where you could hire all sorts of films. If I remember correctly, I watched it on VHS; of course, I’ve seen it so many times on TV since then that I’ve lost count.
For me, Daniel the Mischief-Maker is exactly the sort of film that history will never forget. I watched it countless times as a child, laughing at every one of Daniel’s pranks and, of course, at poor Mr Wilson’s suffering, but let’s be clear: now that I’m this age, watching it again doesn’t make me laugh quite so much at what Mr Wilson goes through quite the opposite, in fact and that’s when I realise that, yes, turning 44 is really taking its toll, ha ha ha
When I suggested to Luna that we watch this film, she was a bit unsure and I was worried she wouldn’t like it, but no Luna absolutely loved the whole film, to the point that she sat very quietly during the final few minutes. She was really getting into the story behind all the laughter and her delight at Daniel’s antics, but OK, I can’t deny it seeing Luna laugh so much at the very same jokes that made me laugh was an incredible experience.
I can’t imagine you don’t remember Daniel, that boy with a knack for getting into trouble. This film is from 1993, just when family cinema was at its peak, and it’s no coincidence that the screenplay was written by the great John Hughes, who is the mastermind behind not only this film but another of cinema’s great family classics, Home Alone. But that wasn’t the only reason the film managed to attract such a large following. The film was, and still is today, a hit. Who among us hasn’t been told at some point that we looked like Daniel the troublemaker?
What is true, though, is that sharing not only this memory but also the film with Luna reminded me just how valuable cinema is as a bridge between generations. Sometimes we worry whether today’s children will be able to connect with the special effects or the pace of films from the 90s, but when a story has well-developed characters and heart, time stands still for it as I mentioned in that first review on Srobble, Luna was also captivated by The Neverending Story. Before I go, I’d like to make a point: it’s funny, but it happens to me when Luna isn’t at home sometimes we don’t appreciate the value that children’s chaos brings us. That’s exactly what Daniel, Mr Wilson and the film give us through their story. A lovely message, isn’t it?
I imagine many of you have already seen it, so, well, as always, this is just my opinion. I invite you to share yours.
A bordo de la nave
me despido, mi querida familia.

Gandhari, is not your usual soft, gentle mother / daughter movie, this one comes in hot, the story centers on Bani, an ordinary mother whose entire world gets shattered in just a moment, she is at a crowded railway station, the kind of chaotic environment we all know too well, packed with people, noise, everybody minding their business, and in the middle of all that chaos, her little daughter gets kidnapped ,and just like that , snatched away in a place surrounded by hundreds of people, and nobody even notices in time, as if that alone is not terrifying enough, during the same attack tied to the kidnapping, Bani ends up losing her sight, temporarily blinded in the middle of the worst moment of her life.
Now picture that for a second, that not only has this woman lost her daughter, she can not even see the world around her anymore while trying to process what just happened, any normal person would collapse under that kind of weight, and honestly, who would blame her, but Bani does not fold, instead of drowning in her trauma, she picks herself back up and decides she is going to find her daughter herself, blindness and all, and that is where this movie stops being just another kidnapping drama and turns into something much bigger.
Her search for answers pulls her straight into this town called Joypurra, a fictional place soaked in old local lore and cultural mystery , and this is where the story gets really layered, because it's not a simple case of find the kidnapper, rescue the child, Bani's investigation leads her into a shadowy child trafficking network operating right under the towns nose, hidden and protected by people who clearly benefit from keeping it that way, on top of that, the town has these figures called Behrupiyas, traditional shape shifting performers woven deeply into the local culture, and their presence adds this eerie, almost mythical layer to everything happening around her. Nothing in this town feels straightforward, everyone seems to be hiding something, and Bani has to navigate all of it while physically unable to see the danger coming at her.
What makes this even more intense is watching a blind woman essentially transform into this fierce, unstoppable force of vengeance , she is not waiting around for the police or anyone to help save her daughter, she becomes the one doing the saving herself using every bit of instinct and desperation she has to outmaneuver people who clearly underestimate her because of her condition, and that underestimation becomes their mistake, because Bani is relentless, moving through danger with a kind of conviction that comes from having absolutely nothing left to lose.
As she gets deeper into this world, she is not just fighting for her own daughter anymore, she starts uncovering how many other children have disappeared into this same trafficking network, tucked away and forgotten by a town that would rather protect its secrets than protect its own people ...., so her mission slowly expands from personal rescue to something closer to reckoning, taking down an entire system built on silence and complicity.
By the time everything builds toward its climax, you are not just watching a mother trying to get her child back you are watching someone rise completely transformed by her grief, turning her darkest moment into raw, unstoppable strength, and this is one of those stories that just reminds you never to underestimate what a mother is capable of doing when everything she loves is on the line.
