Death is something that may come at any time in this life and that is why you have to enjoy every day that passes. This is something that we have seen for many years in a saga of films known as Final Destination and it is incredible all that work they have been doing and in that way to keep the saga active and at the same time each time the deaths that come out there are of greater impact, so once said director returned to produce one more film for the saga, being the sixth film and where there will be more than an hour of much terror and mystery, in order to try to save himself from each of the deaths that life is preparing him and the most important thing of this whole saga is to revive it and that surely will come more films of final destination.

This new movie surprised me a lot, since I thought that I was not going to get more of this saga and the story had already finished, since it reached a point where everything was practically the same and it became boring because it was the same pattern and everything was very predictable when it came to see the deaths in this movie. Where we will see a great story, as they emphasize a nightmare of many years and is something that has taken trying to give an end and each time becomes more worrying, as death is getting closer and created that no one would like to go through something like that and this is where we wonder: Will he be able to save himself from all the deaths, who is behind all these events, who is behind all these events? And many other things that characterize this kind of horror movies.

La muerte es algo que quizás llegará en cualquier momento de esta vida y por eso se tiene que disfrutar de cada día que pase. Esto es algo que hemos visto durante muchos años en una saga de películas conocida como Destino final y es increíble todo ese trabajo que han venido haciendo y de esa manera poder mantener la saga activa y a la vez cada vez las muertes que salen allí son de mayor impacto, por eso una vez dicho director volvió a producir una película más para la saga, siendo la sexta película y donde serán más de una hora de mucho terror y misterio, para así poder intentar salvarse de cada una de las muertes que la vida le está preparando y lo más importante de toda esta saga es poder revivirla y que seguramente vendrán más películas de destino final.

Esta nueva película me sorprendió mucho, ya que pensé que no iba a sacar más de esta saga y la historia ya había terminado, puesto que llegó un momento donde todo era prácticamente era lo mismo y llegaba a aburrir por el hecho ser el mismo patrón y todo muy predecible a la hora de poder ver las muertes en dicha película. Donde está veremos una gran historia, ya que hacen énfasis en una pesadilla de muchos años y es algo que ha llevado intentando por darle un fin y cada vez se vuelve más preocupante, ya que la muerte se acerca más y creó que nadie le gustaría pasar por algo como eso y es aquí donde nos preguntamos ¿Podrá salvarse de todas las muertes?, ¿Quién está detrás de todos esos acontecimientos? Y muchas otras cosas que caracterizan a este tipo de películas de terror.

Al ser la sexta película de esta saga de destino final, existe una gran diferencia en cada película en cuanto a la manera de poder usar los efectos, la tecnología e incluso un terror y misterio que cada vez se vuelve más fuerte, además la manera como se va desarrollando todo permite ir descubriendo toda esa aventura qué hay detrás del asesino y a pesar de que cada muerte es distinta, todo ocurre por algo y llegó un punto donde no damos cuenta de quienes será los próximos eliminados y su vida terminará. De todas esta película he visto algunas e incluso considero que las primeras son de mucho mejor calidad al presentar algo novedoso para ese instante y ya estás últimas es muy repetitivo y crea esa tensión a los espectadores de saber qué podrá pasar, aun así cada muerte que va ocurriendo impacta, ya que nadie morir y mucho menos por venganza.

Para no hacer esta introduccion muy larga, debo de comentarles que llevo tiempo queriendo ver algun anime nuevo, hasta que por azares del destino me termine topando con este el cual al comienzo no tenia ganas de ver, pero poco a poco fui leyendo de el para terminar decidiendome por darla una oportunidad. Sin más, quiero hablarles de este corto, pero fuerte anime.

Al momento de decidir probar con C Danchi, la realidad es que no tenía claro qué esperar. Siempre me ha fascinado la idea de una comunidad aislada donde suceden eventos extraños, y la serie parecía ser un enigma de horror con elementos de folclore. Y tengo que mencionar que, en gran parte, cumplió todo tipo de expectativa, aunque de una forma algo especial. Lo que personalmente más me gustó fue su entorno. Desde el inicio, la serie genera una sensación de inquietud y soledad. La forma en como cada personaje está pensando contribuye a esa atmósfera algo inquietante, y la música de fondo es ideal para mantenerte en suspense.

Hola comunidad de cinéfilos, como están ,han visto muchas películas estos días? Hoy les quiero compartir una serie buenísima a la que me enganché y termine dándome un maratón de serie de dos días, la terminé y quedé fascinada con lo bien trabajada que está ,y todas las reflexiones que te va dejando, todo desde un bucle infinito en dónde se revive el mismo día una y otra vez.

Muñeca rusa es una serie del 2019 , tiene su tiempo ya, pero está muy buena y manaja un ritmo intenso y frenético , en donde se usa un bucle de tiempo de un día , para reflexionar diversos temas existencialistas, desde la religión, el significado de la vida , la relaciones interpersonales , e incluso los problemas mentales, la verdad creo que la vi en un pequeño resumen de YouTube hace un año ,pero no le preste mucha atención y está vez me senté a verla por qué vi que había muchas imágenes graciosas de la actriz Greta Lee (Past Lives) con quién estoy un poco enganchada en su papel en the morning show , y bueno aunque su personaje es secundario la protagonista es increíble en su actuación, la serie me adentró completamente en esta angustipsa y tormentosa fiesta interminable en la que están sumergidos.

And well, although her character is secondary, the lead character is incredible in her acting, the series completely immersed me in this anguished and stormy endless party in which they are immersed.

**# opinión sin Spoilers** **Principalmente como sale en la sinopsis todo gira alrededor de la fiesta de cumpleaños de Nadia y como se da todo este día , algo muy interesante son los dialogos y la charlas que tiene los personajes , van reflexionando sobre un montón de temas y dándole mucha matiz y desarrollo a no ser solo personajes, que solo los vemos en ese determinado tiempo de la fiesta, logran enseñar la historia y la relaciones de Nadia con cada personaje, mostrando así ,con solo los pequeños diálogos y acciones ,como es su relación con ello y algo más de la forma en la que Nadia lidia y experimenta la vida . También algo genial es que una de las creadoras es la misma Natasha Lyonne, quien encarna a Nadia, y es un dato que siempre me encanta , cuando los protagonistas están involucrados en la misma creación de la serie porque así de alguna forma tienen una conección aún mas fuerte ( casos como el de Mythic Quest y Fleabag). Otra cosa que ame es la estética que usaron , se ve muy marcado la intención de hacerla muy hermosa visualmente, con colores neon , difuminacions, efectos de espejo y caleidoscopios que te envuelve en toda la magia que maneja este universo, pero además también bien están los outfits ,para mí esos conjuntos de Nadia al estilo 70's de negocios con un toque gótico me encantaron 😍.**

También amé a las amigas de Nadia ,como mencioné , empecé a ver la serie por las imágenes de Maxine , y quién con la otra amiga me pareció que tenían un relación de amistad demasiado bonita y que nos sirve para hacer notar como aún cuando Nadia parece alejar a otros , al mismo tiempo es increíblemente leal y ama a sus amigas. Y vamos con la relación también que me llama la atención que fue la de Ruthie, la tutora de Nadia, que la crio luego de que su madre perdiera su custodia, y como está es la figura materna que Nadia perdió en su vida al su madre tener una condición mental ,(algo que tocan maravillosamente bien en la segunda temporada, pero que en está ,vemos atisbos de la facturas que tuvo esa relación con su madre.)**

Así que te la recomiendo, sí estás buscando alguna serie para maratonear en Netflix, le doy un 4,7 /5 ⭐.

World War Z: A Thrilling but Flawed Watch.

The recent civil unrest that indirectly concerned my country got me and a friend discussing. Mostly we were just goofing around but the discussion took a serious tone along the line. The big question was “what would happen if there was an actual civil unrest or a widespread outbreak of a disease that actually multiplied by the second? Like a zombie apocalypse. Then what? Do we have the enough resources and the right ingredients to tackle such a situation? Or would the entire country be wiped out in a week.

About the Movie

Based on a bestselling novel by Max Brooks (An Oral History of the Zombie Wars), this film stars Brad Pitt (Gerry Lane), a former employee of the United Nations. With a pandemic thrust upon the earth, Gerry is made to travel the world in search of a cure to stop the zombie pandemic or at the very least, find the source. This decision is a devastating one as he has to leave his wife and two beautiful daughters to face an unknown enemy.

As Gerry travels the world, he comes across various degrees of danger and harm but he made a promise, one which he must abide to.

This action film released on the 21st of June, 2013, has a runtime of 1 hour and 56 minutes, which was barely enough in my opinion. The film was directed by Marc Forster and stars veteran actors like Brad Pitt, Mireille Enos and Danielle Kertesz.

My opinion

The non-stop action and suspense from the opening scene thrusts viewers into a world of chaos and destruction as zombies overrun cities and the government struggles to respond. The pacing is relentlessly with barely a moment to catch your breath between intense action sequences.

Brad Pitt, (the lead actor) delivers a solid performance as Gerry Lane, bringing a sense of seriousness and urgency to the role. The rest of the characters do a good job supporting Gerry but they were all very underdeveloped and underused. This happens to be one of the flaws of this film.

The themes covered in this film include survival, desperation and the response of the world to chaos. One thing I particularly like is how well these themes were portrayed with no sugar coating.

One of my favorite scenes from this film was when the frailty of the human race was portrayed in a single scene. A world class virologist was invited by the leaders to find a cure for the pandemic. This virologist was attached to Gerry and his team on this quest and on reaching the location, in the hysteria, he slipped and died. He was supposed to be the one to find the cure and save the world but he was dead in a puff.

However, the plot of this film was somewhat predictable. One with a creative mind could easily see the end of the film from the beginning.

Talking of ends, this film's ending felt very rushed. The pace of the movie was going smoothly and I kept expecting more action, more suspense and more everything but that wasn't the case. The movie ended abruptly. I did a little research as to when the sequel would be released but it turns out, this was the first and the last. This was yet another spotted flaw.

Recommendation

World War Z is a thrilling yet flawed Zombie film. Although it may not be a flawless film, it is undeniably entertaining and suspense-filled. For this, I will give it a 7/10 rating. If you're a fan of action films, I believe that you will find World War Z to be a good watch.

Olympo - A different view of sport
Are you one of those who believe that sport is only training and discipline?, well, I tell you that there is definitely much more than that and this series will show you an example of the circumstances that certain high performance athletes can live to excel and to achieve success. Before I continue, I want to say that I came to this series by chance, this is not the kind of genre I usually watch in series and movies, but as I like sports in general, I was curious to see what proposals this series had, so a little against my will, I watched all the chapters in a couple of days.
“Olympo” is a Netflix series of Spanish production that has 8 chapters, the genre is drama, although with more unfounded ideas towards the teenage audience as most characters are young people who have not yet matured and may show promiscuous attitudes. I honestly don't know any of the guys in the cast of characters, but I must say that they are very talented actors that we will surely see in the future in other productions. This series was filmed in Spain.

Another interesting aspect that this series touches on is the use of substances that some athletes can use to optimize physical aptitudes in addition to endurance, we know that this is a topic that has always been talked about in sport and that despite the advances in anti-doping tests and rigorous controls, there are always those who seek to circumvent these rules at any cost to gain sporting advantage. Thus, in CAR Pirineos we will see how a group of boys struggle physically and psychologically to achieve success, but not before being betrayed, living injustices and, of course, living the typical teenage dramas in which sexual relations play an important role.

This series develops with a relatively fast pace, I don't feel that it gives time or place to unimportant sub plots since each event of the story has a purpose within the final result of the idea, however, it is inevitable that at times the series falls into the clichés of teen dramas with the complex interpersonal relationships that entails, but beyond that, it maintains a coherent line in the development of events. I must admit that both the main characters and the secondary characters play a very good role, I already said that I don't know any of the actors, but despite that they left me a good impression.
Something I liked a lot about the series were some scenes of sports activities, especially those recorded in the pool, I think it achieved an aesthetic rarely seen in movies or sports series as I feel it captured a very realistic essence of what is lived in those places. I think that one of the achievements of this series was the inclusion of a disruptive element that contributes a lot to the story and by that I mean the inclusion of the enigmatic sports brand “Olympo”, which beyond seeking talent, has a hidden intention that helps to intensify the drama and suspense.
I'm not going to say that this is the best series I've seen, not even close, but I think it leaves a small legacy for the sports genre as it uses elements of real life that many can relate to, but also adds external elements that certainly creates opportunities to make the story more entertaining. I am hesitant to recommend this series or not as I can understand that many (including myself) can't stand teen dramas, but believe me you will see more than that in this series, I leave it up to you.

For me, “The Dark Knight” is just such a movie. If someone thinks it is an ordinary superhero movie, then they have to understand that they have not watched the movie carefully yet. This is not just a story of Batman's fight—it is a deep psychological struggle, of a person standing as a light in a dark city. ‎ ‎

Hilarious Moment

Coach Carter walks onto the court to address the team for the first time. He starts laying out his rules: maintain a 2.3 GPA, sit in the front row of class, wear a shirt and tie on game days. The players laugh out loud. It's completely unexpected. Cruz, never one to back down, steps forward to challenge the coach physically, only to be swiftly put in his place. The humor and intensity of that moment really set the tone.

The Players Were Finally Disciplined

I was really glad that Coach carter was able to achieve his goal for the players. He wanted them to have a life and plan outside sports. Coach Carter pulled a fascinating move. During a crucial tournament, he locks the gym and cancels practice because his players were failing academically and also haven't been attending classes. Coach was victimized by the parents and fans but he didn't budge.

The boys finally understood that the coach had their best interest so they all collaborated to not go for the games till they studied and got a recommendation from their teachers. it was really emotional and nice to know that someone was able to inspire young people to study and also be disciplined.

The Towering Inferno" [1974] Movie Review ESP/ENG

Back in the 70's I remember seeing an action movie that shocked me so much that I remember it perfectly to this day, it was a blockbuster and if I remember correctly it was inspired by the construction of the twin towers in New York (who knew, right?) It was Hell in the Tower.

In the film we see The Glass Tower, a building that ends up horribly burned by negligence of one of those responsible for its construction. There was great expectation for its inauguration, great personalities of the national and international Jet Set had been invited. Architecture and engineering would come together in this great social event. Doug Roberts (the chief architect) was the most enthusiastic of the construction team, as this was his great work with which he would be known, so he felt very proud. The large building housed apartments, presidential suits and huge pent houses, as well as professional offices and boutiques, and the chief electrician was also there bragging about his work to the media. The event began with great speeches, then the orchestra began to play while the waiters went from one side to the other bringing drinks and exquisite delicacies for the good taste of those present.

I felt part of the plot when the main character, guided by emergency lights, was going to the electrical room but he couldn't enter because the place was on fire. The crowd was running from one place to another and the elevators were not working (in some of them there were people trapped) and all this just added a touch more stress. Our protagonist argues with the chief electrician about what could have happened, but his explanations did not satisfy the chief architect. What actually happened is that all this was the product of an act of corruption that the protagonist discovered when he went back into the electrical room, where he noticed that the wires were not the right ones, then he understood that the chief engineer and his team had replaced the wires with lower numbered ones to save money that would later reach their own pockets. This brought a lot of realism to the plot because this kind of acts of correction are quite common when there are large-scale projects like this one and the consequences are dire.

Yo me sentí parte de la trama cuando el protagonista, guiado por luces de emergencia se dirigía al salón eléctrico ero no pudo entrar porque ese lugar estaba en llamas. La multitud corría de un lugar a otro y los ascensores no funcionaban (en algunos de ellos había gente atrapada) y todo esto solo le añade un toque más de estrés. Nuestro protagonista discute con el jefe de electricistas acerca de lo que pudo ocurrir, pero sus explicaciones no satisfacían al arquitecto jefe. Lo que sucedió en realidad es que todo eso era producto de un acto de corrupción que el protagonista descubrió al volver a internarse en la sala de electricidad, allí notó que los cables no eran los adecuados, entonces entendió que el ingeniero jefe y su equipo habían sustituido los cables por unos de menor numeración para ahorrar dinero que luego llegaría a sus propios bolsillos. Esto le aportó mucho realismo a la trama porque este tipo de actos de corrección son bastante comunes cuando hay proyectos de gran envergadura como este y las consecuencias son nefastas.

The height of tension comes when the film reaches its climax, the moment we see our hero shine on screen, and one of those that I suppose would have required the largest budget. The conclusion of the three-part Season 6 premiere of "Homicide: Life on the Street," titled "Blood Ties: Part III," presents a slightly more polished narrative compared to its predecessors. However, it fails to significantly elevate the overall impression left by the series thus far. The episode, while attempting to tie up loose ends, still struggles with the same issues of pacing and character development that have plagued the season's opening.

The primary storyline continues to revolve around the convoluted and frustrating investigation into the murder of Malia Briere. The lack of progress in the case has not gone unnoticed, with the Baltimore Sun applying pressure and Giardello, under the scrutiny of his superiors, demanding that the Homicide Unit resolve the case within a day. Pembleton, ever the diligent detective, manages to secure a search warrant for the home of the Wilsons. The subsequent discovery of a trove of love letters that Hal Wilson had written but never delivered to Malia provides a glimmer of hope. However, the absence of concrete physical evidence forces Giardello to authorise Pembleton to attempt an informal confrontation with Hal and his father, Felix, in hopes of extracting a confession. During this tense discussion, Hal admits to killing Malia out of jealousy over her affair with Felix. The moment is abruptly halted when Felix intervenes, preventing Pembleton from invoking Miranda rights. The detectives later learn that Assistant State Attorney Danvers refuses to prosecute due to the lack of evidence. Despite the legal setback, the scandal has irreparably damaged the Wilsons' standing in the city, prompting their decision to relocate to San Diego. Pembleton, acknowledging his oversight, apologises to Ballard for not considering the Wilsons as suspects earlier and disregarding her sensible suggestion to rule them out via a blood test. He later informs Giardello that he has contacted the San Diego police, warning them to keep an eye on the Wilsons, as a similar incident is likely to occur again.

The side storyline focuses on Wilkie Collins, a drug dealer who informed on Junior Bunk, leading to his arrest. Collins is found murdered in his home alongside his wife, with their young son Jack hiding nearby after witnessing the crime. The investigation is handled by Lewis and Falsone, who discover Jack's presence and take steps to ensure his safety before social services arrive. Falsone, in particular, forms a bond with the traumatised child, which proves instrumental in identifying the killer. Jack can recognise the voice of his parents' murderer, which is traced back to Castleman, a former Narcotics detective. Castleman later confesses to the killings, revealing that they were carried out on the orders of Junior Bunk's vengeful mother, Georgia Ray Mahoney.

Tom Fontana, the showrunner, appears to have made a concerted effort to make Falsone, a new addition to the cast, more likable. However, this attempt seems somewhat forced. Falsone's interaction with Jack, while well-intentioned, feels contrived. Nevertheless, the segment is not without its merits. When Falsone discusses his own divorce and child with Dr. Cox, his quasi-parental feelings towards Jack become more relatable. Child actor Marc John Jefferies delivers a commendable performance, and director Mark Pellington's work is particularly noteworthy. The scene where the routine sights of the police station are depicted through the eyes of a traumatised child is both chilling and effective.

"Blood Ties: Part III" will likely be remembered for its main storyline, despite the script by David Simon and Anya Epstein making it slightly overlong, much like the first two instalments. With Felix Wilson's admission in the previous episode, the mystery of Malia's killer is narrowed down to two suspects. The resolution comes in a tense discussion where James Earl Jones, with his regal presence, is paired beautifully with Jeffrey Wright and Andre Braugher, adding depth to the scene.

What sets this episode apart is its refusal to provide a conventional "happy ending." In a nod to reality, some crimes go unpunished. Pembleton knows that Hal Wilson is the killer but is aware that justice will not be served. His confident assertion that justice will prevail and that he will keep an eye on Wilson, even if they are in San Diego, feels like a somewhat artificial attempt to add a silver lining to an otherwise grim narrative. This lack of resolution underscores the show's commitment to realism, even if it leaves viewers with a sense of unease.

At the end of the day, "Blood Ties: Part III" is a mixed bag. While it successfully ties up the main storyline and offers some compelling moments, it struggles with pacing and character development. The side storyline, though well-acted and directed, feels forced in its attempts to humanise Falsone. The episode's refusal to provide a neat resolution is both its strength and its weakness, adding a layer of realism that is both refreshing and frustrating. Ultimately, it serves as a reminder of the complexities and frustrations inherent in real-life investigations, even if it doesn't always hit the mark in its execution.
