Atlas is one of the most amazing films I have watched so far, especially because of the technology connected to the future and the way the film shows a world where artificial intelligence has become very powerful and dangerous.
The story starts when Atlas, a data analyst who doesn't believe in artificial intelligence because of something that happened in the past, decides to join a mission to capture Harlan, a powerful AI robot who has become a threat to humanity.
Harlan was basically created to help humans, but things didn't work out that way. When he became more powerful, he started fighting against humanity. He escaped to another planet, and Atlas joins a team sent to stop him. The mission was very dangerous because Harlan was powerful and had killed many of the people sent to stop him.
An interesting part of the film is when Atlas is forced to interact with an AI system called Smith. At first, she doesn't trust Smith at all because of her hatred of artificial intelligence and the way it hurt her in the past. But as time goes on, she has to trust the AI if she wants to survive. The way Atlas and Smith's relationship develops is so impressive. Their relationship becomes very strong, and Atlas realises that not every AI is against humanity.
The ending was also great. I remember when Atlas said, “Harlan is always one step ahead of us,” but she was able to defeat him with Smith's help.
The action scenes in this film were very impressive. The way Atlas and Smith interact is so intimate, and that makes the film more interesting. I was very curious to see what would happen next while I was watching. Smith helped Atlas so many times, and she trusts him. Atlas could not have made it without Smith. Smith is the one who made the film so interesting to me.
The film had a beautiful acting display. Atlas's story has great action scenes and a unique storyline to match, and it should be on the watch list of every sci-fi lover. My favourite parts are the interaction with the robot Smith and the action scenes. All images are downloaded from IMDb
