This wonderful film directed by Len Wiseman brings us a fresh, explosive and surprising plot, starring the renowned Ana de Armas in the role of Eve Macarro, a beautiful young dancer who becomes a murderer seeking revenge. This film that I bring you today could be your gateway to a fantastic world where elegance and brutality go hand in hand.

The plot of this film tells us about Eve Macarro, an orphan girl who, after the death of her father, is rescued and trained in the traditions of the Ruska Roma, a secret society of assassins disguised as a ballet academy, where she grows up as one of the best in dance and also in the handling of weapons and martial arts. The girl eventually discovers the truth about her father's death and abandons her training to begin a mission of revenge against a sadistic and well-protected villain.

Along the way, the protagonist crosses paths with very relevant figures of the John Wick universe, including Keanu Reeves himself. Throughout the film, the combat sequences are a spectacle, as they merge the fluidity of ballet with the precision of "gun fu", since from the beginning of the film we see Eve using her dancer's agility to dodge bullets and with spinning kicks she achieves the counter attacks.

One of the scenes that I liked most in this film was when in a duel with flamethrower in an abandoned warehouse she is wrapped in a cape and improvises an acrobatic combat that combines fire, hoses and explosions, leaving this scene in my opinion as one of the best, where we see how the fights are not only violent but also poetic and fun.

Ana de Armas is, without a doubt, the soul of this wonderful film, where she consolidates herself as an action star in her own right. Eve in this film is not at all a copy of John Wick, she is nothing more than a vulnerable and fierce heroine, whose anger at family loss makes her more human, but without detracting from her ferocity.

The film has an excellent cast where each one of them, separately, contributes their grain of sand so that everything flows well with the plot and the film shines. In general, "Ballerina" has been well received by the public and has been a success, standing out for its feminine freshness.

In short, "Ballerina" honors its heritage while paving its own path, where it offers two hours of great entertainment, with innovative action, a stellar leading lady and touches of humor that remind us why we love this universe, so my friend, if you are looking for a ballet of bullets and revenge, this movie will not disappoint. Happy night and until the next flick. Blessings.

From the World of John Wick: Ballerina".

    1000133159.jpg

Bendiciones.

  2. Ballerina (2025) - REVIEW - [ENGLISH-SPANISH]@maaasha311d

    Source

When I saw Ballerina I was like waooo because I expected it to be another John Wick style movie but with a woman and it turns out that the thing has its own personality and I liked that a lot. Len Wiseman as director managed to create something that feels new within the universe of John Wick without losing that brutal and stylized essence that at least I love, Ana de Armas is superr as Eve and you can tell that the actress got fully into the character both physically and emotionally, every action scene where she appears is pure adrenaline mixed with that vulnerability that the character needed to not just be a killing machine. What struck me the most was how the film manages to balance moments of humor with ultra violent scenes, there is a part where Eve uses plates as weapons and honestly I couldn't stop laughing, it's not that it's funny in itself but it's so creative that it works perfectly, also the flamethrower sequence was completely unhinged in the best possible sense. The chemistry between Ana de Armas and the rest of the cast including Keanu Reeves in his special appearance works very well, it feels like these characters actually exist in the same world and not like they were stuck in there just for marketing, Keanu especially has a presence that elevates every scene he appears in without stealing Eve's thunder. Ian McShane and Anjelica Huston appear reprising their roles from the John Wick universe and both do excellent as always, Anjelica has that intimidating elegance that makes her perfect to lead the Ruska Roma organization.

The revenge story is pretty straightforward but it works because it doesn't try to overcomplicate itself, Eve seeks revenge on her father's killers and that's it, there are no unnecessary subplots or anything forced that makes you lose the main focus of the film. They develop all the background of the Ruska Roma organization in a good way so much wue you can finally see how this school of assassins and dancers works, the connection between ballet and martial arts is very well done so that nothing seems forced as it could have easily happened. The trainings we see in flashbacks are brutal and realistic, they show how Eve became the lethal machine she is but also explain why she has that grace and fluidity in her movements that distinguishes her from other assassins, there are moments where she literally looks like she is dancing while killing people, it leaves you kind of mesmerized. The whole design is quite real and the best part is that it is connected to the world we already know, from the Continental hotels to the training centers, everything has that shape that characterizes the John Wick universe. Norman Reedus appears in a small role but I liked it, the guy knew how to make every scene where he appears count and his chemistry with Ana de Armas works very well in the short time they are together in the movie, Lance Reddick is also present in what was one of his last roles before he passed away and it was really touching to see him once again as Charon.

The best thing about Ballerina is the action part because Len Wiseman understood that he couldn't just copy Chad Stahelski's style, he had to create something different but still being part of the same universe, all that movement when they fight is incredible and you can see the work that Ana de Armas put into training. What impressed me the most was how they used the environment in each fight, from nightclubs with ice to snowy villages in the mountains, all this makes it more interesting and the fight with the flamethrower in particular is crazy, it looks like something out of a video game but in the most fun way possible. The special effects are good at no point did I think it was a completely computer made movie nor did it look low budget, the explosions and blood look convincing without being overly gore. It manages to capture both the intimate moments and the massive action sequences very well, there are some really beautiful shots like the snow scenes that contrast perfectly with the brutal violence going on and Gabriel Byrne as the main bad guy has presence but isn't as memorable compared to some of those in the main John Wick films.

I think what I liked most about Ballerina is that it doesn't try to be John Wick in a skirt, it creates its own identity within the established universe, Eve is a distinct character with different motivations and a unique fighting style that feels quite real, to me the film respects what came before and isn't just a repeat of the formula. Ana de Armas proves she can carry an action movie on her own, she has that perfect blend of intensity and vulnerability that makes you care about the character even when she is dishing out death all over the place, every hit she takes feels real and painful unlike other action heroes who seem invincible. The emotional connection to the revenge story works because the film takes the time to create that relationship between Eve and her father, the flashbacks are not seen as filler but as necessary information to understand the main character's motivations. The humor is natural and comes out of every situation, it's not forced like in many other action movies, when Eve improvises with everyday objects as weapons I found it quite funny because it comes out of the creativity of the moment and not as if it was a written joke. The connection with the main movie is well handled because they appear when the story needs it and not just to take advantage and generate an emotion, here Keanu Reeves has a role that is important to the story and does not just appear to appear. The pace of the movie is good, it's not boring and it doesn't feel rushed, for me it was perfect, each part has the necessary time to develop without sacrificing tension or anything else.

It seems to me that Ballerina manages to be a solid addition to the John Wick universe that was needed and not just created to squeeze more money out of the franchise, Ana de Armas earned her place as a leading lady in action movies and I hope to see her in more projects like this because for me she has the talent and presence to carry this kind of stories. The movie gives you that brutal and stylized action with interesting characters and enough creativity to keep you hooked for the two hours it lasts, I'm a fan of the John Wick universe and I tell you wur definitely worth watching and if you don't know this world I find it a good introduction to the style and aesthetics of these movies. The problems that the movie has are little things like some of the bad guys in the background are kind of equis and there are moments where the physics are stretched beyond belief but for me it wasn't something that ruined the movie or completely took me out of the story. My score for Ballerina is 8/10, it's a good movie, the work is very good it doesn't pretend to be more than what it is, it's entertaining from beginning to end it has enough personality to stand out on its own, definitely recommended when you want to see something well done action with a touch of humor and creativity.

  3. Ballerina: The possible future of the saga / El posible futuro de la saga [ENG-ESP]@freddbrito349d

    Ballerina PORTADA.png

The main saga of John Wick is over... or at least that's what we were given to understand in the fourth film with the death of John although there have been many rumors that he could return for a fifth installment, which personally I would not like to happen, the end of the fourth film was perfect and bring back from the grave John Wick would be something quite disappointing, that ending a little ambiguous of not knowing if he is alive or dead is perfect. But we all know how movie producers are and John Wick is a saga that makes a lot of money so maybe they will bring him back, although I hope it will be like they did with Ballerina. I would also like to see part of the origin of John Wick and how lethal he was in his best times, although in order to see that they will have to choose a much younger actor and I think many people would not like that. The John Wick universe is more interesting than one might assume, a universe where murder is almost so much a part of everyday life that it seems to be just another job, that's why they are trying to expand this universe with new and upcoming movies, even a series that is set many years before the main story and focuses on the Continental Hotel, a series that by the way I haven't seen yet.

The John Wick saga brought this year a new movie which is focused on a new character, a character that we saw very briefly in the third film, if I'm not mistaken, although it was played by another actress and it was only a small glimpse of that character whose story was expanded in this film. Ballerina is set between the third and fourth film of the John Wick saga, for that reason we will see a living Baba Yaga and its protagonist, like John, his crusade throughout the film is based on revenge, this time in revenge for the death of his father, which will make her go into the same place where he grew up and trained John Wick. We see this new protagonist enter the criminal world, facing any enemy that stands in her way, while at the same time searching for answers to her origin. Throughout the film we will see several other characters from the universe of John Wick, which gives us to understand, as if it were not already obvious enough, that we are in that criminal and violent world so characteristic of the saga and although they are characters that in the end do not make much impact on this perspective of the new protagonist, except for John and the director of the Ruska Roma, it is quite right that these characters appear because they are important in the saga.

Something quite characteristic of this new protagonist, which makes it quite different from John is his fighting style, as the women of this organization in addition to instruct them in different styles of fighting, both hand to hand fights, with firearms or bladed weapons, they are also taught ballet and that learning with that dance mixes it with a much more agile fighting style, with more maneuvers and lighter weapons, something that counteracts with the style of John Wick, but it is still visually quite good, although I still preferred the sequences and fight choreography of John Wick, but this protagonist is not far behind, because although it seems that it costs more to eliminate certain enemies, especially because unlike John, this new protagonist lacks the experience in battle and years of fighting that has had the Baba Yaga during his life and this is something that is quite noticeable in the final sections of the film.

At the level of art direction the film is quite outstanding, just by watching the first seconds of the film, we can know that we are in the universe of John Wick, there is something in the scenery and photography that makes us immediately associate that aspect, so it goes without saying that again in this section they did an excellent job. Likewise in the sound section as the excellent choice of music and sound effects such as gunshots or explosions, all done with precision. Personally I see quite a future for this new protagonist as the main face of the saga, perhaps for future films we will see a protagonist with more experience in battle, in the use of firearms and bladed weapons such as swords or knives, so the actress Ana de Armas would have to undergo a much stronger training than she did in this film if they really want the action scenes look very good, dynamic and real. In general terms it is an excellent film, which in terms of choreography lags behind if compared to the four John Wick films, but at the same time it is a character that brings a totally different fighting style, which is not a bad thing, but if they should improve certain choreography to make it more visually impressive. In short, Ballerina is an excellent film.

  4. A Geeky Guy's Guide to Ballerina (Please go see this movie!)@hanshotfirst383d

Let's start this by making a deal, as always, I promise not to reveal any spoilers during this post. In return, all I ask is that you go see this movie like 6 or 7 times!!!!

I'm not kidding. I really need everyone to go and see this movie repeatedly. Rest assured, I will be doing the same. I fear that if we don't, the movie company Lionsgate will not make a sequel. And they MUST make a sequel. I need. No WE ALL need to see a sequel!!!!

If you haven't figured it out by now, I freaking loved this movie. Is it as good as the first three John Wick movies? Well that would be nearly impossible. Was it as good as the fourth? Perhaps.

As a 53 year old American male, I feel uniquely qualified to speak about action movie series (and no I don't think being a 53 American male makes me an expert on everything... but some guys I know surely do). I mean I have been around action movies from the very beginning. Even the ones that came out in the 60s were on TV enough that I saw them all. But I was a teenager in the heyday of 80s action movies. I was in my 20s when they modernized them bit in the 90s and I have been hooked ever since. I've seen just about everything. Steve McQueen and Clint Eastwood... saw them on TV. Bruce Lee movies... rented them and watched them on Beta. Terminator and Die Hard... saw them in the dollar theater. 1990 John Woo movies and the American ripoffs... saw them in the theater. Fast and the Furious... saw the first few in the theater and got bored. But John Wick. Oh my God! These movies are simply the G.O.A.T. of action movies. We all know I love The Raid: Redemption, the movie that inspired John Wick and every other movie since 2012 with awesome action sequences, but John Wick has taken it to another level. And the Ballerina has accepted the challenge to create stunning action sequences by saying "Hey John Wick, you kind of tried to act within the realm of disbelief. You kind of tried to obey the laws of physics. You kind of tried to show that people get injured during a fight. Fuck all that shit! I'm the Ballerina! Reality is for wimps!"

Dang it! I promised no spoilers. Now everyone knows that Ana de Armas is gorgeous. Sorry.

Not only do I love the action in John Wick, I am enthralled with the universe in which it lives. In John Wick's universe, anyone on a subway could be an assassin. That homeless guy the block... an assassin. The little old lady working at the shoe store... an assassin! The sushi chef... assassin! That gorgeous ballet dancer... you guessed it... assassin! Not only that, but the rest of the infrastructure of these world is just so freaking cool. The hotel where you pay for everything with mysterious gold coins, the sommelier for assault weapons of every type, and the telephone operators dressed in super sexy outfits connecting the switchboards and entering information into 8 bit computers... oh my god that are all so awesome! I would watch a movie or show about any of the jobs that help support the network of assassins. So it is no surprise that I loved Ballerina.

Ok enough John Wick fanboying. Let me say some spoiler -free things about Ballerina. First of all, in full disclosure, I think Ana de Armas is perhaps the most beautiful actress I have ever seen. She's simply stunning. If there were ever a woman who deserved to live in Banshee Pennsylvania, it is her. But if she couldn't act, I wouldn't like her. Want proof? I can't stand movies with Gal Gadot. Anyway back to Ana de Armas. Not only can she act, but she is able to pull off physical action scenes. Ever since she stole the movie as Paloma in the James Bond movie No Time to Die, I have been waiting for Hollywood that they were sitting on a goldmine. I couldn't wait for them to cast her in an action movie. Well it was worth the wait! Although she is no Keanu (after all, who else is?) she does a great job in the action sequences. And there are plenty of them.

I honestly do not think there was a wasted scene in the entire movie. They are either exploring something weird in the awesome Wick World or they are showing a ridiculously over-the-top action sequence. As a connoisseur of action movies, I thought I had seen it all. My god was I wrong! There were SOOOOOOO many more weapons one could use to kill a bad guy. There are so many more martial arts fights that I needed to see. There are so many ways to use snow and ice.

If you like the John Wick movies, you MUST see Ballerina. I promise you will not be disappointed!

What is you favorite action movie series? (And feel free to say Fast and the Furious, I'm just unique in that I hate car chases.)

  5. Ballerina - Making dreams a reality (Movie Review)@oluchi31541d

When it comes to my comfort animated shows, best believe Ballerina is among the list. I can't begin to count the number of times I've watched this particular cartoon but one thing I'm sure of, is that every of those times, I was always reminded of exactly why I loved this show and why I shouldn't stop loving the show.

Yesterday, this show was aired on my Tv, and I was happy I got to watch it again. This time as well, I was reminded of why this is one of my comfort shows. This was a really really good animation and I enjoyed every bit of it. Source

Ballerina is a 2016 animated movie, starring Elle Fanning and Dane Dehaan. The movie follows the story of two kids, Felicity and Victor who escape from an orphanage to follow their dreams. They sneak their way into a carriage and later find themselves in Paris. Getting there, Felicity is taken in by a lady, to help as a cleaner and Victor sneaks his way into a garage and begins to work there. They work at their respective places and things continue to go well for them as friends until Felicity steals someone else's identity to audition as a ballerina and begins to meet new people.

I loved this movie for many reasons. But the main reason of course, was the plot. Doing something because you want to do it and not because circumstances or other forces pushed you into doing it. Felicity danced because she loved it. So even when she didn't have anybody to train her as a dancer, she was passionate about it and would go to any length to achieve that which she loves.

The plot of this movie did not portray the main characters as completely good, and I liked that. Felicity stole the admission into the institution mainly as a form of revenge. That is not something we see in cartoons so frequently. The main characters are rarely portrayed as flawed. Exhibiting flaws are usually meant for the supporting characters. So, one of the things I loved about this animated show is the fact that the main characters exhibited more realistic feelings like jealousy and it even touched on themes like revenge.

Felicity and Victor's friendship was another of the things I loved. They were the type of friends that no matter how distant they were, they had each other's backs. I loved to see Victor covering up for Felicity at different moments in the movie. My favourite character was Victor. He was very fun to watch. He liked Felicity but the lass was too busy getting familiar with her new life in Paris that she did him dirty. I liked Victor. I liked his poor attempts at being funny and many other things too.

I also liked Felicity. She was too flawed for me to not like her. She let herself get carried away, she deceived herself, she did the wrong things. But above everything, she had this fierce determination to be a ballerina and I think that was what I liked the most about her. Her passion for dancing. She wasn't good at it but her determination and love for the act made her who she was.

What's a good animation without sweet melodies thrown in here and there? The songs were perfect. It wasn't too much because yeah, Felicity is a dancer and not a singer but the songs were thrown in when necessary. And I loved it. Do I know most of them word for word? Yes.

This show was a perfect blend of humour, emotions and beautifully scripted dialogues. The only thing I'll have liked to change in this movie is the supporting characters back stories. Some parts of their story wasn't explained in depth. If those two loved each other earlier on, what happened between them that only made them come back together when our main characters now existed? If this was explained better, I feel the show would have had a better flow. But I still don't mind. I enjoyed watching this show just the way it was.

I'll rate this movie an 8/10. It has the ability to make you giggle, blush and even laugh out loud. It is an amazing animation that is suitable for viewers of all ages. I'll absolutely recommend.

    Thanks for reading.

  6. Cine Tv Contest - Ballerina ; A scintillating plot@oluchi31784d

For someone whose choice in movies and dramas have been revolving round romance for a while now, I haven't really watched a lot of action movies but I've watched quite a few good ones and taking a trip down memory lane, I remembered the movie Ballerina. This was a movie I had always come across on Netflix and always scrolled past for one reason or another. Probably because I was always looking for something with a brighter promotional poster or rather, something romance or comedy themed. I later got to watch it when a friend of mine took my phone, downloaded it to watch and didn't delete it. I watched it and I totally enjoyed it.

Ballerina is a Korean movie starring Jeon Jung-Seo, Kim Ji-Hoon and Park Yu-rim. The movie follows a girl Choi Min-hee (Park Yu-rim) who committed suicide after being threatened by Choi Pro (Kim Ji-Hoon) to upload a video of him having sex with her. Her last wish for her best friend, Jang Ok-ju (Jeon Jung-Seo), a former bodyguard, is to avenge her death. All clues pointing at Choi Pro. Ok-ju finds Choi Pro through his internet profile and tries her possible best to lure him into her den but all efforts seems furtive. She finally gets to meet Choi Pro but killing him is a really hard nut to crack as he isn't just a sex trafficker but he also works for a crime organization.

I loved this movie because as much as it lacked too many spoken words, it was still easy to understand and follow through. The role of the main character didn't require much talks during the course of the movie. Being a loner and her only friend dead, most of her actions were carried out in silence. The only exceptions being where communication is necessary. For instance, when she wanted to make a bargain for the weapons sold to her. There weren't any unnecessary talks in the movie and I must commend the director as the movie still wasn't confusing with the lack of communication it entailed.

I also found the end of this movie very satisfying. The movie which had a scintillating plot and storyline did not fail to get a befitting end. I was grateful that it wasn't characterized by the usual hasty/sloppy endings associated with movies of it's kind. I wouldn't buttress on this point for the purpose of avoiding spoilers.

Worthy of mention also, was the main leads in this movie. They totally understood the assignment given to them. They portrayed the characters emotions so well and also, Jeon Jung-Seo's skill in the area of martial arts is something I admired. She did the whole thing with ease, considering the fact that martials isn't something she does on a daily basis. I really liked the way the actors performed. The emotional scenes got to me and I found myself blinking severally in a bid to stop the tears already threatening to fall when scenes that showed the relationship between the two friends before the death of Min-hee were aired.

Did I mention the suspense in this movie? I had expected less from this movie but I was suspended from the beginning to the end. I kept looking forward to what happens next to Choi Pro every now and then. The movie kept me on my toes while watching it that I didn't even drop my phone. And when I say I didn't drop my phone, my face was glued to the phone screen all through. Luckily for me, I was the only one at home that day. I had all my attention glued to my screen for the whole time the movie aired.

Aside from the fact that the movie did not really have much bright scenes, It was totally worth the watch. It's something I would recommend to those who are looking for a suspense-filled action thriller. I hope you enjoy it just like I did.

  7. Review || BALLERINA || Netflix movie (2023) [ESP/ENG]@edwarlyn11989d

Hello my dear Hive readers and lovers of the film world ❤️ I am very happy to share with you a recommendation recently released on the Netflix platform titled "BALLERINA", which in its translation would be the ballerina. And perhaps many like me would be fooled by the title to be quite harmless, but the truth that promises to be quite the opposite, and to me personally I was very surprised in a positive way to be more a genre of action, drama and why not...a lot of explicit content not act for sensitive.

This film of approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes is of Korean origin, where we can find as protagonist a girl, who plays her (Jeon Jong-seo), who is moved without any contemplation for revenge, basically a story inspired by the reckless John Wick (Keanu Reeves), only here instead of a man, we will see a woman embody that bloody thirst for revenge by her own hands, practically a story that will combine very well both action and drama.

Although I do not consider myself a big fan of the action genre with a lot of gore, I highlight this one first because I really loved the backstory, second because I am a big fan of the John Wick installments and seeing a woman play a similar role causes me more impact and emotion, and third because most of the time, this is usually the reality of many cases of impunity in society handled by criminal gangs and corrupt high ranks of power that, for convenience or lust for power, are complicit in the most heinous crimes with innocent victims. Obviously it is known that these "immortal" characters and "superheroes" do not exist, but they hide nothing more than the reflection of a sad reality that often does not end in a happy ending like most films.

The story as I told you at the beginning, starts with a girl named Min-hee (Park Yu-rim), who is a ballet dancer, and best friend of Ok-joo (Jeon Jong-seo), a former bodyguard expert in fighting skills and weapons combat, but one day, she decides to visit her friend to give her a surprise, but actually the surprise was for her to discover a note in a box next to her ballet stuff that said: avenge me! Everything seemed to indicate that it was the work of a possible murder, but later when investigating the place she finds a sad reality. This triggers in the protagonist Ok-joo a work of investigation and justice to fulfill the last request of her friend, paying with her life whoever is the culprit and all those involved. Throughout the process we will see several action scenes by the protagonist with all those involved that she discovers until finally finding the boss of all and thus avenge her friend, but in turn also discover something much darker than she imagined, keeping us tense and attentive to discover the outcome or even a possible continuation ... we do not know.

Personally I really liked this movie and for those who love the genre I'm sure they will love it, a good idea to enjoy this Halloween season with a good Korean film of thriller, suspense and gore that certainly gives a plus to this story that combines very well the drama with action driven by revenge. My score for this movie would be a 9 out of 10. Here I share with you the trailer for you to enjoy it and encourage you to watch it if you haven't done it yet... and then let me know how you like it 😸.

Hello friends of the Movies & Tv community today I want to share with you my review and opinion about a Korean movie released this year 2023 that I really liked despite being a genre that does not call me too much attention but lately I'm liking, this movie is a drama and suspense genre where we will see a lot about being a woman and the dangers in the world especially the issue of being raped by a man.

The movie is called Ballerina and stars Jeon Jong-seo as Okju, a woman who used to be a bodyguard and has a lot of skills to fight and defend herself against anyone who comes her way. In the midst of her world full of action and blood, she meets a girl named Min-hee who studied in high school with her and is now dedicated to the art world as a dancer. The two become close and form a strong friendship, but one day Okju receives a call that changes everything: Min-hee is found dead in the bathtub of her house. Okju feels that there is something else behind this situation and decides to check her cell phone where she finds a call from a stranger who has a lot to do with Min-hee's death. In the midst of searching for the truth about her friend's death Okju discovers some very dark things. Choi Pro is responsible for Min-hee's death and for many torments through sex videos he recorded himself. He likes to capture his prey in some way, in this case young girls who are vulnerable and with their attractiveness to deceive them and then abuse and record them, it is something that gives him pleasure.

But things are not going to stay like that, Okju decides to set a trap and make him pay even though it will be difficult because Choi Pro is a guy who is not afraid of anything and has the strength and power to kill her so that his atrocious acts committed against women are not discovered. There is a whole world of sex trafficking, especially where they use videos of the victims to threaten them and take them for sexual exploitation. It is grotesque all that can be seen in this film but it is a reality and many young women can fall into these situations being victims of guys like Choi Pro who with his charm and false personality takes them for his use and pleasure. Okju's acting is amazing, from the beginning she shows a strength and way of being that makes her a cunning woman that not just anyone can harm, but life changes her when her friend dies and this thirst for revenge that has always been inside her comes out. I like how strong she is and that she is not afraid to stand up to anyone in order to get justice, and boy, did she succeed.

The scenes are very good especially the action scenes, where they show the qualities that Korean actors have to show both their emotions and their fury and in this movie there is a lot of that. It's bloody and very explicit, I'm not a big fan of this in movies but I really liked the way they handled the revenge and the pain even if it was by our main character's own strength. Koreans are very good when it comes to their movies and this one I think is one of the best movies made by netflix about action and revenge. There is a lot of emotion during the whole movie, as a woman it made me feel a little angry and at the same time sad for the whole situation that Okju and Min-hee had to go through and the fact that being a woman in this world is a danger, it is a reality that we see not only in movies but also in the day to day with the death of so many women product of femicide

I think that although this film clearly shows that he takes his revenge into his own hands, it is a way to point out that these things happen and that many times they go unpunished, marking forever the victim's life and leaving psychological scars that are very difficult to overcome. I highly recommend it, it has a duration of an hour and a half and is available on Netfilx and other internet streaming platforms.

Thanks for making this far and always supporting me, See you soon in a new post.
