Battle: Los Angeles is a 2011 American military science fiction action film directed by Jonathan Liebesman and written by Chris Bertolini. The film follows a Marine staff sergeant who leads a platoon of U.S. Marines, joined by other stranded military personnel, defending Los Angeles from an alien invasion.
