Solamente tres años se tuvo que esperar para regresar al mundo de Westeros el cual está lleno de intrigas, traiciones, disputas, incestos y extrañamente honor; un regreso que para viendo las reacciones de muchas personas en las diferentes redes sociales era sumamente esperado a pesar de la decepción de un gran, pero un gran número de fans de Games Of Thrones tuvieron al ver el episodio final llamado "The Iron Throne". El rechazo por cómo terminó uno de los personajes más importantes de esta serie fue lo que hizo que los creadores, David Benioff y D. B. Weiss se ganarán el odio de varios fans y pienso que por eso había preocupación en los mismos fans de volver a ver una historia en dónde es imposible encariñarse con un personaje porque casi todos los personajes son prescindibles, pero nada de eso pareció afectar el recibimiento de esta nueva historia que relata el duro y obligado enfrentamiento por el poder de ser el dueño de un reino que pareciera estar destinado a la destrucción.

Only three years had to wait to return to the world of Westeros which is full of intrigues, betrayals, disputes, incest and strangely honor; a return that for seeing the reactions of many people in the different social networks was highly expected despite the disappointment of a large, but a large number of fans of Games Of Thrones had when they saw the final episode called "The Iron Throne". The rejection for how one of the most important characters of this series ended was what made the creators, David Benioff and D. B. Weiss earned the hatred of several fans and I think that's why there was concern in the same fans to see again a story where it is impossible to get attached to a character because almost all the characters are expendable, but none of that seemed to affect the reception of this new story that tells the hard and forced confrontation for the power of being the owner of a kingdom that seems to be destined for destruction.
En el momento que comencé a ver "Game of Thrones" hace once años hubo dos escenas que me conectaron por completo con esta serie, una fue al comienzo de la primera temporada en dónde un grupo de hombres de "The Night Watch" tiene ese encuentro con los después conocidos "White Walkers", con eso tuve la sensación de estar siendo testigo de una historia sobrenatural y emocionante, pero eso solo fue un preámbulo de algo más desarrollado y que tan solo esa silenciosa (por ese momento) amenaza después sería algo importante aunque su desenlace fue manejando de una forma rápida; la segunda escena no tuvo que ver con la muerte de un personaje al que todos veian como el flamante héroe, no quiero ser tomado como alguien diferente o interesante, pero ese desenlace nunca me impacto; ahora el cierre de esa temporada con el nacimiento de la llamada "Madre de los Dragones"; eso me hizo levantarme del asiento y lamentarme de que debería esperar un año completo para esperar el estreno de otra temporada más; después de esa escena (una de mis favoritas) no hubo vuelta atrás, mientras se estrenaban nuevas temporadas ahí estaba yo viendo caer a poderosos personajes y mantenerse con vida lo que sufrieron y pensaron no tanto en obtener un poder sino en el bien de uno y otro, tal como lo describí en una reseña que realice del episodio final, "El Dragón solitario muere, pero la manada de lobos sobrevive". Yo debo de ser los pocos que en parte acepta el final de esta versión de esta historia y soy de los muchos que quieren ver el final hecho por su creador y no por esperar ver a "Daenerys Targaryen" como la gran ganadora del juego, sino por ver un mejor desarrollo de la larga noche y saber cuál desenlace piensa para los muchos personajes de esta historia; ahora a la espera de sí los "Team Daenerys" son felices con lo que le pueda suceder en los libros o si los "Team Snow" siguen celebrando, era evidente que para seguir viendo esta historia en un formato de serie de TV se debería ir atrás en el tiempo, explorar enfrentamos y guerras, explorar aún más la historia de una de las familias que dominaron a Westeros y que su linaje está unido a ser destructores y salvadores del mundo.
When I started watching "Game of Thrones" eleven years ago there were two scenes that connected me completely with this series, one was at the beginning of the first season where a group of men from "The Night Watch" has that encounter with the later known "White Walkers", with that I had the feeling of witnessing a supernatural and exciting story, but that was only a preamble to something more developed and that only that silent (for that moment) threat would later be something important although its outcome was handled in a fast way; the second scene had nothing to do with the death of a character that everyone saw as the new hero, I don't want to be taken as someone different or interesting, but that outcome never made an impact on me; now the closing of that season with the birth of the so called "Mother of Dragons"; that made me get up from my seat and regret that I should wait a whole year to wait for the premiere of yet another season; after that scene (one of my favorites) there was no turning back, while new seasons were premiering there I was watching powerful characters fall and stay alive what they suffered and thought not so much in obtaining a power but in the good of one and other, as I described in a review I made of the final episode, "The lone Dragon dies, but the wolf pack survives". I must be the few who partly accept the ending of this version of this story and I am one of the many who want to see the ending made by its creator and not to expect to see "Daenerys Targaryen" as the big winner of the game, but to see a better development of the long night and to know what outcome he thinks for the many characters of this story; now waiting to see if the "Team Daenerys" are happy with what may happen to her in the books or if the "Team Snow" are still celebrating, it was evident that to continue seeing this story in a TV series format should go back in time, explore confrontations and wars, explore further the history of one of the families that dominated Westeros and that their lineage is linked to be destroyers and saviors of the world.
En el momento del anuncio de esta serie mi interés estaba en conocer parte de la historia de los Targaryen, su ascenso y parte de su destrucción, víctimas como siempre de la obligación de cumplir un destino creado por un sueño; creo que descubrir un Westeros con todo lo referente específicamente a un mundo con dragones era algo que debería ser relatado porque solamente conocemos el poder y terror de contar con majestuosas criaturas; ahora tenemos en momentos de ver la admiración, respeto y sí temor porque ninguna familia o nuevo reino podrá igualar tal poder que representa los dragones de los Targaryen; eso en parte es lo que quiero ver y que justamente en este primer episodio brevemente observamos con la presentación de los dragones "Caraxes" y "Syrax", ambos domados, entrenados y amados por sus "amos", una relación de amistad, de posiblemente mascotas, algo diferente de lo que fue Daenerys con sus dragones a los cuales los trató como sus hijos; con esto caigo en algo que parece que es difícil de no describir con respecto a este primer episodio de una nueva temporada y lo que fue una historia que rompió récords, y es que es importante no relacionar ambas historias, compararlas en realidad y este es algo positivo y a la vez equivoco porque ambas historias tendrán cosas muy parecidas, pero espero que haya diferencias entre una historia y otra; cuando me refiero a diferencias hablo en el relato y desarrollo de la historia, que demuestre, crueldad, traición, combates, pero que pueda sorprendernos con respecto a cómo puede está historia afectar a lo que será el futuro de cada familia y Westeros.
At the time of the announcement of this series my interest was in knowing part of the history of the Targaryens, their rise and part of their destruction, victims as always of the obligation to fulfill a destiny created by a dream; I think that discovering a Westeros with everything specifically related to a world with dragons was something that should be told because we only know the power and terror of having majestic creatures; now we have in moments to see the admiration, respect and yes fear because no family or new kingdom will be able to match such power that represents the Targaryen's dragons; that in part is what I want to see and that just in this first episode we briefly observe with the presentation of the dragons "Caraxes" and "Syrax", both tamed, trained and loved by their "masters", a relationship of friendship, of possibly pets, something different from what Daenerys was with her dragons to which she treated them as her children; with this I fall into something that seems to be difficult not to describe with respect to this first episode of a new season and what was a record-breaking story, and that is that it is important not to relate both stories, to compare them in reality and this is something positive and at the same time wrong because both stories will have very similar things, but I hope that there are differences between one story and the other; when I refer to differences I am talking about the story and development of the story, that shows cruelty, betrayal, fighting, but that can surprise us with respect to how this story can affect what will be the future of each family and Westeros.
Uno de los factores de los cuales está serie puede ser (en realidad ya es) un éxito es la calidad de personajes que encontramos en cada escena, aunque hay algo que la hace más especial y eso es referente a los que solo vimos y todavía no sabemos su importancia en la historia; ahora lo facinante y a la vez lo que creó una crítica a House of the Dragon, es que estos mismos personajes todavía no conocemos sus claras intenciones, no sabemos quién es bueno o quién es malo y esto me parece algo ridículo porque justamente cualquier personaje en esta historia sus motivos son creados por estar siempre cerca del trono o porque no, ser dueños del trono de hierro; esto me ha gustado porque creo que nadie es bueno, no sé si malo, pero "el bueno de la historia" creo que eso no existe en esta serie, todo serán víctimas o victimarios y solo quedará en el público definirlos cómo justos. En este primer episodio sí hubo un personaje que llamó la atención, esa fue la "Princesa Rhaenyra Targaryen" interpretada en esta oportunidad por Milly Alcock; me gusta que sea una completa niña disfrutando las virtudes de ser parte de la familia real, pero que en secreto mantiene la necesidad de ganarse la atención de su padre y así tener la necesidad de demostrar que es digna de ser considerada como una posible sucesora al Rey; me gusta que su Interpretación sea hecha en dónde vemos como un personaje lleno de inocencia y privilegios, deba justamente dejar atrás esa vida y heredar una responsabilidad para preparar al reino y su mundo de una grave amenaza; la actuación de Milly es algo que por los momentos me ha gustado porque transmite cada una de las características que he nombrado, en especial la de todavía ser alguien inocente que reclama a su padre atención cuando esté por fin dispone en darle responsabilidades como es la de posiblemente ser una líder (la primera) de un gran Reino; esto de ser una niña, pero pedir y al fin obtener lo que quiere podrá afectar como es su crecimiento como una mujer sumamente importante y eso es lo que más quiero ver en esta historia, es un personaje que más expectativas tengo de ver porque pienso que su desarrollo será lo más emocionante de esta serie.
One of the factors of which this series can be (actually it already is) a success is the quality of the characters that we find in each scene, although there is something that makes it more special and that is referring to those that we only saw and we still don't know their importance in the story; now what is fascinating and at the same time what created a criticism to House of the Dragon, is that these same characters we still don't know their clear intentions, we don't know who is good or who is bad and this seems to me something ridiculous because just any character in this story their motives are created to be always close to the throne or why not, to be owners of the iron throne; I liked this because I think that nobody is good, I don't know if they are bad, but "the good of the story" I think that doesn't exist in this series, everything will be victims or victimizers and it will only be up to the audience to define them as fair. In this first episode there was a character that caught my attention, that was "Princess Rhaenyra Targaryen" played this time by Milly Alcock; I like that she is a complete child enjoying the virtues of being part of the royal family, but secretly maintains the need to win the attention of his father and thus have the need to prove that she is worthy of being considered as a possible successor to the King; I like that her performance is done where we see how a character full of innocence and privilege must justly leave that life behind and inherit a responsibility to prepare the kingdom and its world from a grave threat; The performance of Milly is something that for the moments I have liked because it transmits each of the characteristics that I have named, especially that of still being someone innocent that demands her father's attention when he is finally ready to give her responsibilities such as possibly being a leader (the first) of a great Kingdom; this of being a girl, but asking for and finally getting what she wants may affect her growth as a very important woman and that is what I want to see more in this story, she is a character that I have more expectations to see because I think her development will be the most exciting of this series.
Retomando las comparaciones por ejemplo de los episodios pilotos de Game of Thrones y de la precuela a esa historia; es como ver justamente un episodio de final de temporada de GoT, con más presupuesto y eso es algo totalmente injusto; pude leer críticas en dónde hubo quejas por el excesivo uso del CGI en varias escenas y para ser sincero, no sé cómo es eso una queja porque cuando se hace un buen uso del CGI, nunca debería recibir una crítica negativa y en el primer episodio llamado "The Heirs of the Dragon", en mi opinión todo está muy bien hecho y es que desde el primer momento al ver a un dragón volar, usar sus llamas, los enfrentamientos en el torneo y algunas localidades, creo que debería existir más críticas positivas que negativas. Me gustó que está serie en tan solo un episodio muestre muchas referencias a la primera serie basada en el mundo creado por George R. R. Martin, esto me pareció genial porque se presta para la creación de teorías y nuevamente la lucha que ocurría en cada temporada por saber quién debería ser el dueño del Trono de Hierro y es que al final de primer episodio, revisé las redes sociales para saber de la opinión del público (y compartir la mía) y me encontré muchas opiniones que me hicieron viajar en el tiempo, en realidad retroceder tres años y nuevamente leer quejas sobre el destino de algunos de sus personajes favoritos; eso me gustó y a la vez me aburrió porque pienso que para que está serie funcione debe dejar atrás lo ya hecho y seguramente en esta primera temporada sea algo muy difícil de lograr y habrá que esperar como está historia se va desarrollando hasta por fin nos enfoquemos completamente en La Casa del Dragón.
Going back to the comparisons for example of the pilot episodes of Game of Thrones and the prequel to that story; it's like watching just a season finale episode of GoT, with more budget and that's something totally unfair; I could read reviews where there were complaints about the excessive use of CGI in several scenes and to be honest, I don't know how that is a complaint because when a good use of CGI is made, it should never receive a negative review and in the first episode called "The Heirs of the Dragon", in my opinion everything is very well done and from the first moment to see a dragon flying, using its flames, the confrontations in the tournament and some locations, I think there should be more positive reviews than negative ones. I liked that this series in just one episode shows many references to the first series based on the world created by George R. R. Martin. I thought this was great because it lends itself to the creation of theories and again the struggle that occurred in each season to know who should be the owner of the Iron Throne and at the end of the first episode, I checked the social networks to know the opinion of the public (and share mine) and I found many opinions that made me travel back in time, actually go back three years and again read complaints about the fate of some of your favorite characters; I liked that and at the same time it bored me because I think that for this series to work it must leave behind what has already been done and surely in this first season it is something very difficult to achieve and we will have to wait how this story develops until we finally focus completely on The House of the Dragon.
