   Feliz martes Hivers y por supuesto un abrazo para todos. Ando medio contento porque las últimas horas han sido muy buenas y fructíferas gracias a Dios. Tengo por allí algo que me ha estado causando un poco de temor, pero de ese sentir que sabes que es importante, espero pronto se de y contar buenas cosas sobre ello.

   Por cierto, tenia tiempo sin ver actuar a la fantástica Helen Hunt. Al instante la reconocí, pero debo confesar que me sentí un poco asombrado de su rostro, no se si sea algun tipo de arreglo en cuanto a edición o si se ha realizado algún tipo de cirugía estética. Pues a pesar de que a pasado mucho tiempo, se le ve el rostro como algo estirado y no es que sea yo médico, pero creo que hay botox por allí. No digo que este mal, en lo absoluto, el que puede que lo haga y listo, hago mención más bien porque esperaba verla con más líneas de vejez.

   Pero en sí no afectó en lo absoluto su serena pero a veces sentida actuación como una madre y esposa que ha cometido un error tan grave que le ha costado su vida familia sana.

   Hay una cosa en particular que no sale de mi cabeza sobre el ambiente donde se hicieron las grabaciones, la verdad no sé en qué país este dicho lugar, pero por unos instantes me sentí incómodo o llegue a pensar que solo era un efecto de edición sobre un gran telón verde, pues la zona donde viven estas personas en la parte trasera está el mar, pero no una playa como tal.

   La cuestión es que se acostumbra a pensar que las casas muy cercanas o conectadas al mar se miran un poco más costeras, sin embargo, estas parecen casas de urbanizaciones en grandes ciudades. No digo que sea algo importante la verdad, pero es algo que me hacia ruido la verdad.

   A partir de aquí las investigaciones se intensifican aún más, tomando en cuenta que la madre del niño desaparecido es vecina de esta familia. Da la casualidad que el esposo de Jackie (Helen) es investigador de crimen y le han dado el caso de las desapariciones más recientes de niños.

   Dentro de la narrativa se hace alusión que hay un modo operandi sobre estos hechos, y que presuntamente la persona responsable de viejos secuestros y asesinatos de niños está recluido en la cárcel desde hace tiempo.

   Esto a mi me hizo pensar e incluso a los investigadores que había alguien que estaba copiando todo para seguir no se, un mal legado o simplemente algún fan enfermizo.

   Existe infinidad de estilos para hacer que el espectador se lleve un buen susto al ver una película de terror. En lo personal soy fan del contenido sangriento extremo en las películas de terror, pero igual le doy oportunidades a otro tipo de contenido y hoy les hablaré sobre una película que en lo particular me sorprendió bastante, ya que se encuentra dentro de las historias que utilizan en suspenso y terror mental sin necesidad a utilizar algún tipo de pantalla verde para lograr asustar e intrigar.

   There is an infinity of styles to make the viewer get a good scare when watching a horror movie. Personally, I am a fan of extreme gory content in horror movies, but I still give opportunities to other types of content and today I will talk about a movie that particularly surprised me, since it is within the stories that use suspense and mental terror without the need to use some kind of green screen to achieve scare and intrigue.

   Hace poco quise entrar a la plataforma y buscar alguna película de terror, tengo mucho tiempo sin ver y analizar este tipo de producciones, la verdad soy muy exigente en cuanto a este género debido a que las películas presentan tramas parecidas o predecibles, en muchos casos parecen sacadas del mismo guion, por lo cual en muchos casos al ver una película de terror lo más impactante son los efectos especiales, maquillajes y juegos de sonido que juegan con los sentidos del espectador hasta darnos un susto, sin embargo, dando que desear en cuanto a la trama. Quise volver a ver una película del género de terror para ver si presentaba algo destino y me apareció I See You como una de las opciones.

   Análisis

   El tráiler de esta película nos presenta un panorama misterioso y sombrío, incluso nos presenta situaciones paranormales en las primeras escenas, con hechos muy misteriosos que ocurren dentro de la casa de los protagonistas de la película. En eso se basó mi elección, sin embargo, conoceremos que hay elementos en el tráiler diseñados para confundir al espectador sobre el desarrollo de la verdadera historia de la película.

   Comenzamos la historia con la familia Harper, una familia con sus propios conflictos, un entorno disfuncional debido a hechos ocurridos anteriormente, vemos claramente que esta familia se ha distanciado y que a pesar de estar en una posición económica bastante cómoda el hogar se ha convertido en un campo de batalla. Este aspecto es esencial para que el espectador pueda entender la historia de esta película. En las primeras escenas notamos un ambiente familiar hostil y pesado.

   Es una trama que nos hace pensar a cada instante el motivo de lo que está sucediendo, esto es algo definitivamente interesante para el espectador. En lo particular me agradan las películas que me ponen a pensar y que me sorprendan en la trama y la historia, en ese sentido esta trama hace pensar de principio hasta el final sobre los acontecimientos a pesar de que la misma secuencia nos entrega distintas pistas para armar el acertijo en la historia.

   El Juego de Cámaras

   Este es uno de los puntos más resaltantes de esta producción, un juego de cámaras estupendo que podemos ver desde el comienzo de la película, dando una sensación paranormal y misteriosa en combinación con la banda sonora, creo que este es un aspecto resaltante y de lo más notorio de esta producción. Me parece que la fotografía también resulta relevante, el juego de colores e imágenes es bastante bueno lo cual hace que se produzca un ambiente de misterio alrededor de los protagonistas.

   Línea de Tiempo y Diferente Perspectiva

   Esta película cuenta con escenas que ocurren en la misma línea de tiempo pero que podemos observar desde diferentes perspectivas, es decir viendo los mismos acontecimientos pero vista de una manera que nunca hubiésemos imaginado, esto hace que la película que se comienza a ver cambie y de un giro rotundo a la trama ya que con la otra perspectiva se van aclarando los sucesos “paranormales” que se habían presentado en el primer tramo por lo cual cambia todo el panorama de la secuencia y comenzamos a notar que muchas de las cosas que en primera instancia que nos presenta la producción incluso el tráiler son incluidos para confundir de alguna manera al espectador para que no pueda predecir desde el principio lo que realmente está sucediendo. En mi opinión desde el segundo tramo o cuando se cambia la perspectiva se comienza a ver otra película diferente.

   Estas dos perspectivas del desarrollo de la película se unen al final para completar la trama, hace que sea impredecible hasta cierto punto, sin embargo, no es algo que no hayamos visto anteriormente en otras producciones. Básicamente en esta producción nada es lo que parece, por lo cual hace que sea interesante para el espectador no predecir fácilmente lo que ocurre en el desarrollo de la trama.

   Actuaciones

   A mi parecer la actuación más destacada es la de la actriz Helen Hunt que interpreta a Jackie Harper, madre de una familia con muchos problemas a causa de las infidelidades, creo que esta actriz con una enorme experiencia en el medio pudo adaptarse al personaje y poder tener una buena actuación, aspecto bastante importante para el buen desarrollo de la trama. En general las actuaciones son buenas, pero pienso que tampoco presenta algo muy especial que transmita muchas emociones, por supuesto esto visto desde mi óptica, fácilmente otra persona puede opinar diferente.

   Opinión

   Me hubiese gustado ver más misticismo o situaciones paranormales, el tráiler crea este tipo de expectativas y en lo particular buscaba una película de terror, sin embargo, al pasar los minutos se convierte en un terror más psicológico basado en el suspenso y en un trabajo detectivesco para resolver qué diablos pasa. Eso me decepcionó un poco ya que venía con expectativas de muchos sustos y enigmas sobrenaturales desde el principio que presioné el botón de comenzar.

   Creo que es una historia bastante interesante sobre todo al verla desde dos perspectivas totalmente distintas, pienso que a pesar de no ser una historia como lo presenta el tráiler se muestra una historia basada en un buen guion de misterio. En lo particular disfruto mucho este tipo de historia dividida en diferentes perspectivas en la misma línea de tiempo he visto películas memorables aplicando este estilo que me llama la atención debido a la manera en cómo se van aclarando los hechos de una manera que desde el principio no imaginábamos.

   Conclusión

   En definitiva es una película que en un principio parece de terror más ligado a lo paranormal, sin embargo, es la trama se desarrolla en un entorno de suspenso con un terror más psicológico, por lo cual el tráiler puede ser engañoso, por lo tanto si les gusta el suspenso y vestirse de detective en una historia con una historia interesante y en un principio poco predecible les aconsejo ver esta película. En lo particular la trama me mantuvo atento gran parte del tiempo intentando resolver el caso por mi cuenta, pero me llevé una sorpresa.

In particular I like movies that make me think and surprise me in the plot and story, in that sense this plot makes me think from beginning to end about the events despite the fact that the same sequence gives us different clues to assemble the riddle in the story.

   Timeline and Different Perspective

   This film has scenes that occur in the same timeline but that we can observe from different perspectives, that is, seeing the same events but seen in a way that we would never have imagined, This makes the film that we start to see change and give a complete twist to the plot because with the other perspective the "paranormal" events that had been presented in the first section are clarified, which changes the whole picture of the sequence and we begin to notice that many of the things that in the first instance that the production presents us even the trailer are included to somehow confuse the viewer so that he can not predict from the beginning what is really happening. In my opinion from the second section or when you change the perspective you begin to see another different movie.

   These two perspectives of the development of the film come together at the end to complete the plot, it makes it unpredictable to a certain extent, however, it is not something we have not seen before in other productions.    In my opinion the most outstanding performance is that of actress Helen Hunt who plays Jackie Harper, mother of a family with many problems due to infidelities, I think this actress with a huge experience in the medium could adapt to the character and be able to have a good performance, quite important aspect for the good development of the plot. In general the performances are good, but I think that it does not present something very special that transmits many emotions, of course this seen from my point of view, easily another person can have a different opinion.

   Opinion

   I would have liked to see more mysticism or paranormal situations, the trailer creates this kind of expectations and in particular I was looking for a horror movie, however, as the minutes pass it becomes a more psychological horror based on suspense and detective work to solve what the hell is going on. That disappointed me a bit since I came with expectations of many scares and supernatural enigmas from the very beginning when I pressed the start button.

   I think it's a pretty interesting story especially when you see it from two totally different perspectives, I think that despite not being a story as presented in the trailer it shows a story based on a good mystery script. In particular I really enjoy this type of story divided into different perspectives in the same timeline I have seen memorable movies applying this style that catches my attention because of the way in which the facts are clarified in a way that from the beginning we did not imagine.

   In short it is a film that at first seems more linked to the paranormal horror, however, the plot is developed in a suspenseful environment with a more psychological terror, so the trailer can be misleading, so if you like suspense and dress up as a detective in a story with an interesting story and at first little predictable I advise you to see this movie. In particular the plot kept me attentive most of the time trying to solve the case on my own, but I was in for a surprise.

   💬 Зник 10-річний хлопчик. І місцевий детектив береться за розслідування цієї справи. В детектива є своя сім'я, дружина та син, і в них також у стосунках не все гаразд. Ми знайомимось із їх сім'єю, бачимо, що стосунки напружені, бо дружина зрадила чоловіка, а сину-підлітку це дуже не подобається. Але тут в будинку цієї сім'ї починає коїтись щось дивне.    The story begins with the mysterious disappearance of a 10-year-old boy while taking a path through the woods of his town riding his bike, a strange entity seems to have kidnapped him and, from this moment on, the film plays with our imagination. The police take over the case and Officer Greg Harper (Jon Tenney) concludes that it is the same kidnapper that struck that town years ago. Meanwhile, there is tension in Greg's home as he and his wife Jackie (Helen Hunt) are separated due to her infidelity.    As the film progresses, the main characters begin to notice strange events occurring in their house: silverware disappears, also Jackie's favorite cup and some family photographs. At first we think that everything is because of some supernatural event, even the alleged cause of two missing children seems to have some relation, when in the plot the film itself seems to skimp on the fact that everything has a logical explanation, the truth is, the director uses this psychological tactic to create a deeper mystery than usual, and I think that in this he has not failed at all.

   If you are interested in the movie and you don't like spoilers, I recommend you not to read on from here as I will write too revealing details.

   With the strange events happening around them, the Harper family goes into a state of anxiety that someone is stalking them from their own home. Gradually, a strange entity that dwells inside the house is revealed to us, but it has nothing to do with anything supernatural. In several scenes we can see someone stalking them who ties up and knocks Connor unconscious in the bathtub of his bathroom, Jackie discovers him and rushes him to the hospital while Greg is left alone at home. Returning to the guest room of his house, he finds the photographs of his family cut up, then he hears music in the living room of his house and when he goes downstairs to find out, a strange, masked figure attacks him with an axe.

Paulatinamente, se nos va revelando una extraña entidad que habita dentro de la casa, pero no tiene nada que ver con algo sobrenatural. En varias escenas podemos ver a alguien que los acecha y que ata y deja inconsciente a Connor en la bañera de su baño, Jackie lo descubre y lo lleva rápidamente al hospital mientras que Greg se queda solo en casa.    Phrogging is a practice originating in the United States where so-called phroggers sneak into inhabited houses and live there for several days until they find another house to inhabit. They usually look for large, spacious houses where the owners do not stay long during the day. To subsist, phroggers eat the food of the homeowners until it is time to leave. They sleep in ventilation ducts, basements or any other place where people do not frequent and, in order not to be noticed, try not to intrude too much into the lives of the owners of the house they inhabit.

   Los phroggers no deben confundirse con los Ocupas, ya que estos últimos solo buscan casas inhabitadas para poder vivir, y sus propósitos, más que invasivos, es el de ocupar el lugar como si fuera suyo. Esta práctica, aunque no es muy habitual, existe y en esta película ha encajado perfectamente.

   The performances have been quite good, although Helen Blunt's performance has left me confused, since in several moments I felt her cold, almost inexpressive, even in moments of tension, but perhaps this interpretation has been sublime due to the suppression of her guilt, however, I expected much more from the Oscar, Golden Globe and Emmy award winner.

   There are people who have claimed that the film has its religious influences because it is about a person who observes the dramatic situation of the Harper's house, as if he were God who knows all their sins. And at the end, we can see a last shot of the camera moving away towards the sky until the credits finally roll. The truth is my opinion is different, and I liked most of the things I could appreciate in this movie, so I give it a rating of 7.5/10, making it a very interesting thriller that you must keep your eyes fixed on it to understand the whole plot.

   Durante el avance de este flashback, nos damos cuenta que Mindy y Alec, (sobre todo el segundo), son los responsables de los extraños detalles que han ocurrido en la casa de los Harper y nos hace notar una rara actitud hostil de parte de Alec contra Greg y Connor, sin embargo, esto te deja con algunas incógnitas; ¿son algunos de ellos los responsables de la desaparición de los niños en la ciudad?    Sorprendido me ha dejado esta película, no porque espante, sino por como se fue desenvolviendo el filme, pues por el momento te vas con la idea de una trama predecible para al final resultar algo totalmente diferente.

   Lo curioso de la película, es que pareciera que tuviera tres tramas distintas y ajenas unas de otras, solo para el final terminarse uniendo, ya que por un lado tenemos una investigación policiaca, por otro lado pareciera tenemos un asunto paranormal en la casa del protagonista y por último una infidelidad que podría llevar todo a la paranoia.

   Empezaré con que la película presenta una idea que ha estado pasando mucho en Estados Unidos y que pudimos ver un poco de este fenómeno en la película "Parasite", un fenómeno llamado "Phrogging". ¿Qué puede ser peor que tener fantasmas en tu casa?, yo creo que el tener personas vivas viviendo en tu casa y que tú no sepas de su existencia, de eso trata el Phrogging, Son personas que invaden casas habitadas, escondiéndose en los áticos y sótanos para no ser vistos por los verdaderos dueños para poder vivir ahí por un par de días, hasta un poco más de una semana.

   

   Regresando a la película la puedo considerar dividida en dos partes, por un lado tenemos la historia de la familia que está teniendo problemas en su vida por una infidelidad de la esposa, además que el esposo esta bajo la investigación de un posible asesino serial y que cosas "paranormales" parecen estar pasando en casa. Pero por otro lado la segunda parte nos lleva a la verdad de esos asuntos paranormales, donde son personas viviendo dentro de la casa de forma escondida y que entre sus movimientos pareciera que existen cosas anormales en la casa.

   ¿Tú te imaginarías que en tu casa viviera alguien más sin que te diera cuenta?, que se come tu comida, usa tus muebles, internet o lo que sea que este en tu vivienda y tu sin saberlo.

   Sin embargo, la película va más allá de eso, porque al igual que en Parasite ¿Quiénes son los verdaderos villanos del cuento?, esta sin duda es una pelicula obligada que tienes que ver

   Approximately six months ago, I mentioned the movie I See You in an article about interesting movie releases on Netflix last week. Since then, I have wanted to watch the movie, but I never really got to see it. But, now Christmas is here, and the local MasterChef program has finished, meaning that I have time to stream other content as well. As a result, I finally got to stream the movie I See You from 2019.

   The big star of the movie is supposed to be Helen Hunt, but to be honest... she didn't look good at all. Either she has used a lot of Botox or something else, but something just didn't look good, so it felt better to watch the movie in the scenes where she didn't appear.

   

   What is I See You about?

   The story is dealing with a family in which the husband is a policer officer (a leader), the wife is messing up their marriage with an affair, and they have a son which strongly dislike what is going on between the parents. At the same time, someone is taking kids captive, making the husband busy solving the case at work.

   In the midst of this, strange things start to happen in their home. Are there ghosts out there, or what is really happening?

   To be honest, for he first 40 minutes I felt as if this is a movie that I strongly dislike, and I almost turned it off several times. But, I never really turned it off, and after 40 minutes, it took a sudden turns, and now - I am really happy that I watched it to the end.

   The surprising turn suddenly made the movie worth watching, and it was a cool plot that I haven't seen it movies like this before. And now, I simply cannot write to much, because if I kill the cool plot, then I kind of destroy it all.

   I See You might still not be a fantastic movie, but it turned out to be way better than what I expected after watching it for thirty minutes.

   Is this a scary movie?

   I am not a fan of horror movies, and I am only a fan of light thrillers. At times, they try to make this a scary movie, and I believe people who fear being home along might get scared by watching this. But all in all, this is a quite harmless movie, so unless your nerves are very weak, this shouldn't be too hard to digest.

   My score: 7,5/10
