Believe it or not, watching the whole movie was an adventure for me, but don’t let that affect your opinion beforehand.
I started Jingle Bell Heist several times, always during breaks. Most of the time, I would put it on late at night, but then I would fall asleep. Other times, something would come up and I had to stop it again.
Until yesterday.
Yesterday, I told myself I would watch it. Full stop. And I did. And guess what. I do not regret it!

Storyline
At the height of the holiday season, two strangers team up to rob one of London's most famous department stores while accidentally falling in love.
I would simply say that people who are more similar than they first appear come together unexpectedly, and as it turns out there was a very good reason for it.
The movie genre is described as dark comedy, heist, romantic comedy, comedy, crime, romance ..
I would say (in this turn)
mystery-crime, heist, romance, comedy
As you may have already guessed from the title, this is a Christmas-themed movie that revolves around a heist. But that’s not all. There’s also an almost-couple, a few interesting side stories, and just enough twists to keep things engaging without becoming heavy.

The actors, writers and director were unknown to me
- Director: Michael Fimognari
- Writers: Abby McDonald, Amy Reed
- Stars: Olivia Holt, Connor Swindells. Lucy Punch
The movie blends romance with just a touch of light drama, sprinkles in some humor, and adds a touch of crime and mystery, all wrapped in a festive atmosphere. It’s the kind of film that makes you feel good while watching it, especially if you enjoy cozy holiday movies with a bit more going on beneath the surface.

Even thought I did not know the actors, and it was not considered such a deep movie, they perform well and it was a 'truthful movie'

Two people meet in a strange way, one is an ex convict, and plan the perfect heist, bringing their talents together.

A few unexpected events keep the viewer interested, and add to its overall feel-good movie

The movies rating is at 5.8 which is fine with me. An interesting, pleasant to watch movie.
I genuinely enjoyed Jingle Bell Heist, and I would definitely recommend it to anyone who likes this genre: romantic, slightly dramatic, mildly mysterious, and perfect for a relaxed Christmas watch.
