   Reciban todos un cordial saludo, Amigos el día de hoy vengo a compartir con ustedes una película para mayores de 13 años.

   La película se llama El Rey Arturo: La leyenda de la espada, entra en los géneros de Acción y Aventura, todos los actores del reparto de esta película me han gustado mucho, se ve que les ha gustado participar en este proyecto, los actores más destacados de esta película son: Eric Bana interpretando el papel de Uther Pendragon, Djimon Hounsou interpretando el papel de Bedivere, Charlie Hunnam interpretando el papel de Arturo y Jude Law interpretando el papel de Vortigern.

   La película fue estrenada en el año 2017.

   Les Mostrare un pequeño resumen y mi opinión del porqué recomiendo que vean esta película.

   El Origen de Arturo

   Vemos como un niño cuyos padres fueron acecinados, termina siendo abandonado en un barco pequeño y siendo encontrado por unas mujeres, Ellas trabajan en un burdel y el niño trabaja haciendo tareas de limpieza.

   Este niño no sabe que es Arturo y es el sucesor directo al trono cuyo reino está siendo gobernado por otra persona, Nuestro amigo vive muchas experiencias que para su edad no es la correcta, aprendiendo desde muy pequeño que si él no se defiende nadie lo hará por él, llegando a robar, estafar, y pelear por el control de terrenos donde él vive.

   Arturo al llegar a la adolescencia donde conoce un maestro de artes marciales, que le enseña a pelear con diferentes tipos de armas, “Las que se usaban en aquella época”, volviéndose así más diestro en las peleas y llegando a tener más control sobre las zonas en la pequeña ciudad donde vive para su propio beneficio y de los que les importa.

   En esta etapa de la vida de Arturo vemos como él logra convertirse en Rey, pero del bajo mundo, logrando tener buenas conexiones con personas importantes de los militares del actual rey, siendo esto una gran ventaja para él, ya que es casi intocable y respetable, En la película verán como Arturo a fuerza logra todo esto peleando y aguantando muchas cosas, nadie sabe quién es él.

   La Leyenda de la espada Excalibur

   El origen de esta legendaria espada de manera directa en la película, pero si vemos como antes de ser obtenida por Arturo la poseía el antiguo rey del reino, siendo entregada por el Mago Merlín, puesto que su paradero se desconoce.

   Al ir viendo la película veremos cómo nos explican ciertas cosas de esta espada y los poderes que le otorga al usuario que la porta.

   Una de las cosas que me gusto de esta película es que por “casualidad o suerte” la espada queda ligada a solo un linaje, y no cualquiera puede usarla ni obtener el poder que ella presta.

   Los Magos

   Al ser una película sobre el rey Arturo y la leyenda de la espada, la historia de los magos la implementan bien en esta película, ya que vemos mucho contenido de magia y fantasía, en la historia de los magos existe un pueblo, el cual fue aniquilado por uno de ellos junto con los humanos por miedo y codicia.

   Al quedar tan pocos de ellos se ocultaron por miedo a ser aniquilado, uno de ellos se entera de que Arturo está vivo y en peligro, mandan a uno de ellos para su ayuda y protección, siendo esta como una maestra para Arturo y así lograr controlar la espada y su poder, para así obtener lo que a él le pertenece por derecho.

   La maga que acude a Arturo no tiene clemencia hacia él, siendo esta tan dura en sus entrenamientos que casi lo mata.

   El Origen de la Piedra en donde se encuentra la espada

   Una de las cosas que me gusto de esta película, es que no es una simple piedra en la que Clavan la espada a la espera de que el elegido la saque y obtenga su poder.

   En esta película crean un trasfondo sencillo, pero profundo de esto, haciendo que al momento de enterarnos lo que era esta piedra, nos quedemos sin palabras.

   No profundizaré más sobre esto, pero la verdad creó que en esta historia hay un excelente origen del porqué esta espada está ahí, dándole más significado a Arturo cuando la logra sacar.

   ¿Por qué la saco? ¿Quién o qué es la piedra en donde está la espada?  

   Esas fueron las preguntas que me hice cuando estaba viendo la película.

   El Actual Rey

   El rey actual es un dictador que solo le importa el poder, llevando al reino a la miseria y condenando a muchos niños a una vida de dolor y sufrimiento, ya que él lo hace por miedo a que aparezca un sucesor de la espada, resguardándola y marcando a cada persona que hace la prueba para sacarla.

   Este rey estuvo siempre relacionado con los magos que atacaron al reino, haciendo pactos con la magia oscura, sacrificando a personas que ama con tal de tener poder.

   Su mayor miedo es la espada y la que esta hace, por ende, cuando ve que Arturo la saca lo captura y lo va a ejecutar en público, teniendo este mucho desprecio hacia nuestro amigo Arturo pese a estar ligado a él.

   El golpe de estado de Arturo

   En esta etapa, vemos como Arturo implementa todas las mañas que ha aprendido en su vida, siendo ideas muy ingeniosas en las que sus propios seguidores se impresionan de los resultados volviendo loco al actual rey, aunque por un pequeño descuido las cosas cambian.

   Conclusión

   En lo personal me gusto mucho esta película, es muy entretenida y tiene un excelente ritmo al contar su historia, no es rápida ni lenta, para mí tiene algo único que la diferencia entre las demás, haciendo que el que la vea se enganche en su historia.

   Su banda sonora y efectos especiales son increíbles.

   La recomiendo ver con toda la familia, pese a su tema, no es tan violenta ni tan sangrienta, el director izo un muy buen trabajo en cuidar esos aspectos de la película, y hace que sea apta para mayores de 13 años.

   La película tiene una duración de 2 horas y 6 minutos, tuvo una aceptación del 31% de los críticos, pero un 69% de la audiencia según la página más usada Rottentomatoes.

   One of the things I liked about this movie, is that it is not a simple stone where the sword is stuck waiting for the chosen one to pull it out and get its power.

   In this movie they create a simple, but deep background of this, making us speechless when we find out what this stone was.

   I won't go deeper into this, but I really believe that in this story there is an excellent origin of why this sword is there, giving more meaning to Arthur when he manages to pull it out.

   Why did he pull it out? Who or what is the stone where the sword is?

   Those were the questions I asked myself when I was watching the movie.

   Personally I really liked this movie, it is very entertaining and has an excellent pace in telling its story, it is not fast or slow, for me it has something unique that sets it apart from the others, making the viewer get hooked in its story.

   Its soundtrack and special effects are incredible.

   By this point we have seen King Arthur and the Excalibur in all kinds of adaptations.. movies, series, cartoons, musicals...you name it!

   King Arthur: Legend of the Sword is definitely not an "accurate" adaptation. It's definitely not an epic "adaptation". But it's imo a unique and enjoyable total reinvention of the myth and the man.

   Forget the image of Arthur you had in your mind and prepare for something totally new! And although totally new, very similar in what really matters. Honor, pride, duty, standing for what is true against all odds.

   Personally I really enjoyed this movie. The acting did not disappoint, the special effects were pretty good, the action scenes decent although forgettable and I loved what they did with the story. And I laughed a couple times too! They could have toned down a bit the Godzilla sized elephants which felt retarted but oh well...

   An epic story told in an unique way. If you are a fan of the Arthurian legend give it a shot. You will either love it or hate it 😆.

   I'll give it a 7/10

   We have all heard about King Arthur, legends, books and movies, from Disney animated films, to those that could be classified as more serious, none of them had really been to my liking, until I saw this one about a month ago on Netflix.

   I must confess that I thought to see it for what I have told you that almost everything related to King Arthur is usually a little out of proportion and often borders, in my opinion in the cheesy, with exceptions of course, so one of these days when you decide to watch movies and series, I was encouraged to see this "King Arthur: Legend of the Sword "

   Todos hemos escuchado hablar del Rey Arturo, en torno a él giran, leyendas, libros y no podían faltar las películas, desde las animadas de Disney, hasta las que podríamos clasificar como más serias, realmente ninguna había sido de mi total gusto, hasta que vi esta hace ya como un mes en Netflix

   Debo confesar que lo pensé para verla por lo que les he comentado que casi todo lo relacionado con el Rey Arturo suele salir un poco de proporción y raya muchas veces, en mi opinión en lo cursi, con sus excepciones claro está, así un día de estos en los que te decides a ver películas y series, me anime a ver esta “El Rey Arturo: La leyenda de la Espada”

   Ahora bien, entre las cosas que más me gustaron de esta película, está la forma como comienza no es la típica historia donde Arturo es un muchacho pobre y hasta tonto, salido de no se sabe dónde y que un día encuentra Excalibur y es guiado por Merlín para ser rey, aquí nos presentan a sus padres y familia, también de una guerra anterior durante el reinado de su padre y de la traición por ambición y envidia de su tío hacia su padre, quien ante la rebelión y tracción de su hermano procura poner a salvo a su familia logrando solo ver alejarse a su hijo por el rio en sus últimos minutos de vida.

   Another thing I love about this movie, is the amount of quality actors present in it, I already mentioned Arthur's father played by Eric Bana, the wizard played by the French actress Astrid Bergès-Frisbey, Jude Law who plays Vortigern, a role that he was afraid to give that macabre, haughty and despot touch and this actor really succeeds,We also have Djimon Hounsou and Aidan Gillen as part of the advisors of Arthur's father and who have remained loyal to the throne and therefore have had to flee into exile, plus a brief participation of the handsome David Beckham as one of the soldiers of King Vortigern and not least the protagonist of the film who gives life to Arthur, Charlie Hunnam, plus many other actors who give life to all the characters of this production.

   Otra de las cosas que me encanta de esta película, es la cantidad de actores de calidad presente en ella, ya mencione al padre de Arturo interpretado por Eric Bana, la maga interpretada por la actriz francesa Astrid Bergès-Frisbey, Jude Law quien interpreta a Vortigern, papel al que el temían dar ese toque macabro, altivo y déspota y este actor verdaderamente lo logra, también tenemos a Djimon Hounsou y Aidan Gillen como parte de los consejeros del padre de Arturo y quienes se han mantenido fieles al trono y por ello han tenido que huir al exilio, además una breve participación del guapísimo David Beckham como uno de los soldados del Rey Vortigern y no menos importante el protagonista de la película quien da vida a Arturo, Charlie Hunnam, además de muchos otros actores que dan vida a todos lo personajes de esta producción.

   Esta parte de la película está también muy bien representada, los vestidos de las damas y doncellas nos trasladan al momento histórico en el que suelen ubicar a Arturo, el vestuario usado por Vortigerrn es impresionante, sobre todo armadura negra representa su oscuridad y arrogancia, en cuanto la escenografía hay muchos exteriores y ni hablar de los bosques y seres míticos al entrar la bosque para superar la prueba donde Arturo debe redescubrir quien es, cuál es su destino, sobre la música esta me encanto ya que emociona y da ese sensación de estar trotando sentado en algunas partes de la película.

   From a very young age my mother influenced me a lot with Arthurian literature, as it is called those novels where this mythical figure of King Arthur, Merlin, the round table etc. is incorporated. Such influence not only remained there, but it was extrapolated both from her and mine in other aspects such as buying action figures or as decoration and other stories and tales associated with knights or swordsmen, samurai, musketeers, fencers among other sources where it is present in various forms the handling and use of these bladed weapons in other styles.

   But it does not end there I was also influenced a lot by movies both animated and with actors on this nature, whether the case of the sword in the stone of Disney (1963) or old movies like Excalibur (1981), and curiously to my surprise 3 days ago by mere chance youtube recommended me a battle of this film in question which I will tell you, and called at first sight my attention after seeing it, I quickly went to find out about the film in question and I took the opportunity to see it in its entirety and it was entertaining the truth, but there were certain things that I did not like a little, so I will take the liberty to comment on certain things in comparison in old cinematic deliveries and some aspects related to this film in question so without further ado let's begin.

   Desde muy pequeño mi madre me influencio mucho con la literatura Artúrica, como se le dice aquellas novelas en donde se incorpora esta mítica figura del rey Arturo, Merlín, la mesa redonda etc. Tal influencia no solo quedo ahí, si no que se extrapolo tanto de su parte y la mía en otros aspectos como comprando figuras de acción o como decoración y otros relatos y cuentos asociados con caballeros o espadachines, samuráis, mosqueteros, esgrimistas entre otras fuentes en donde esté presente de diversas formas el manejo y uso de estas armas blancas en otros estilos.

   Pero no termino ahí también fui influenciado mucho por películas tanto animadas como con actores sobre esta índole, sea el caso de La espada en la piedra de Disney (1963) o películas antiguas como Excalibur (1981), y curiosamente para mi sorpresa hace 3 días atrás por mera casualidad youtube me recomendó una batalla de esta película en cuestión de la cual les comentare, y llamo a primera vista mi atención después de verla, rápidamente fui a informarme de la película en cuestión y me tome la oportunidad de verla entera y fue entretenida la verdad, pero hubo ciertas cosas que no me gustaron un poco, así que me tomare la libertad de comentar ciertas cosas en comparación en entregas antiguas cinematográficas y algunos aspectos relacionados a esta película en cuestión así que si mas preámbulo comencemos.

Arturo desconoce su linaje real hasta que por ciertas circunstancias a nuestro protagonista se le presenta la oportunidad de sacar la espada en la piedra Excalibur, y con esta en sus manos tendrá que cumplir su destino como legitimo rey, pero para ello deberá pasar por muchas situaciones desafiantes y peligrosas con la intención final de derrocar la tiranía que se vive actualmente por el tirano Vortigern (actual rey), siendo este ultimo el responsable directo de la situación de vida de nuestro protagonista y de lo ocurrido en el reino hace mucho tiempo atrás.

   If I could summarize in one word my experience watching this movie, I could say that it was entertaining to watch, it is not as bad as it seems but it is not something impressive and innovative for me, it is at a point of entertainment to pass the time, and of course it has some aspects of which I did not like much and I think they could have been better addressed and no, I am not referring to the plot and the creative aspect to change certain things in this, if not more than anything in how it is presented and shown in the established time span.

   I admit, the nostalgic factor in me was very present when I was watching it because of what I mentioned earlier in my past and the impact my mother had in all this when I was very young, but I was also more open enough according to what I was presented with. First the plot, already most or those if in any way have been influenced with the impact of this literary character know how this ends, along with the consolidation of the round table, Merlin, etc it strays in certain things from what was witnessed in literature, which to me is fine because it is a work of which if you want to adapt it to the medium you think is more convenient you should not always follow a statute marked on how it read in old novels at all, here if there is a slight change from the beginning and with the integration of this villain in question or the new role that Mordred takes at the beginning, but it remains in essence what represents this journey directed to Arthur and his companions and as from the vision of the director showing a concept of camaraderie and honor or loyalty to recover the throne.

   Si pudiera resumir en una palabra mi experiencia al ver esta película, podría decir que fue entretenida de ver, no es tan mala como parece pero tampoco es algo impresionante eh innovador para mi esta en un punto de entretenimiento para pasar el tiempo, y claro tiene algunos aspectos de los cuales no me gustaron mucho y pienso que pudieron ser mejor abordados y no, no me refiero a la trama y al aspecto creativo para cambiar ciertas cosas en esta, si no más que nada en cómo se nos presenta y la mostraron en el lapso de tiempo establecido.

   Admito, que el factor nostálgico en mi estuvo muy presente cuando la estaba viendo por lo que mencione con anterioridad en mi pasado y el impacto que tuvo mi madre en todo esto cuando era muy joven, pero también fui lo suficientemente más abierto acorde a lo que me presentaron. Primero la trama, ya la mayoría o aquellos si de alguna forma se han influenciado con el impacto de este personaje literario sabe cómo termina esto, junto a la consolidación de la mesa redonda, Merlín, etc se aleja en ciertas cosas de lo presenciado en la literatura, lo cual para mí está bien porque es una obra de la cual si se quiere adaptar al medio que se les crea más conveniente no siempre debe seguir un estatuto marcado en cómo se leía en antiguas novelas del todo, aquí si hay un cambio ligero desde el comienzo y con la integración de este villano en cuestión o el nuevo papel que toma Mordred al comienzo, pero se mantiene en esencia lo que representa esta travesía dirigida a Arturo y sus compañeros y como desde la visión del director mostrando un concepto de camarería y honor o lealtad al recupera el trono.

   I really do not know if this aspect in the criticism was something bad for not following a linear statute at all, but it did not bother me because I feel that I approached the story in an interesting way, also in the Arthurian novels there were changes and other characters were added at different times, but I will not delve so much into it, also this is well reflected in old films like the sword in the stone of Disney shows us a start and development somewhat different, first focused on the figure of Merlin as a teacher and then our protagonist at the end when he discovers who he is.

   I felt it very entertaining, the choreography in the battles is very good mainly the last battle with the sountrack I quite liked I felt certain references and similarities with the game Dark Souls the truth, and the impact they have the magical figures here I quite enjoyed mainly the use in their skills and the concept of power that is also rooted, before the skills of the tyrant in this film. But in the aspects that I did not like is that as a viewer I felt a little lost when I wanted to present certain scenes, somewhat disoriented in how they presented some moments that linearly speaking in time in how the film is directed and shown I felt something alien, I would have also liked to be given a little more weight to some characters mainly those who are with Arthur as they gain significant weight at the end of the film and in the course of the same.

   Realmente desconozco si este aspecto en la crítica fue algo malo por no seguir un estatuto lineal del todo, pero a mí no me molesto ya que siento que abordo la historia de una forma interesante, además en las novelas Artúricas habían cambios y se agregaron otros personajes en tiempos diferentes, pero no profundizare tanto en ello, igualmente esto se ve bien reflejado en antiguas películas como la espada en la piedra de Disney nos muestra un inicio y desarrollo un tanto diferente, primero centrado en la figura de Merlín como maestro y luego nuestro protagonista al final cuando se descubre quien es.

   La sentí muy entretenida, la coreografía en las batallas es muy buena principalmente la última batalla junto al sountrack me gusto bastante sentí ciertas referencias y similitudes con el juego Dark Souls la verdad, y el impacto que tienen las figuras mágicas aquí lo disfrute bastante principalmente del uso en sus habilidades y el concepto de poder que también está arraigado, ante las habilidades del tirano en esta película. Pero en los aspectos que no me gustaron es que como espectador me sentí un tanto perdido cuando me querían presentar ciertas escenas, un tanto desorientado en como presentaron algunos momentos que linealmente hablando en el tiempo en cómo se dirige y muestra la película me sentía algo ajeno, me hubiera gustado también que se le diera un poco mas de peso a algunos personajes principalmente aquellos que están con Arturo ya que cobran un peso significativo al final de la película y en transcurso de la misma.
