Mad Max is truly a one-of-a-kind franchise. Known for its punk-infused style and post-apocalyptic narrative, at its core, it explores the individual's relationship with society (or, as Engels might put it, "freedom and necessity"). This dynamic drives the dystopian tone of the story, presenting us with a wasteland—a barren world where society has collapsed, no collective structures remain, and humanity operates in a…More

The one that started it. The movie is like the car, raw power and fast paced. Nothing quite like a decent V8 muscle car firing up and going down the road. Yes this was shot in the 70's and some of the style has dated a little, the acting is amazing, and the story isn't complex. However, the action, and the battle between the biker gang and the hero cop is a lot as to why this movie is a cult classic and one of my fa…More

With a budget of modest 400,000$, in home Australia, it earned a profit of 5.3 million, while earnings in the world exceeded 100 million $. When the film appeared it divided the critics. There were very negative comments on this Australian post-apocalyptic actio…More
# Mad Max It's the beginning of the new month, and that can only mean one thing: new free games on PlayStation Plus! Every now and again, the good people at PlayStation will actually add a really good game to the subscription collection, and this definitely is a awesome game. Mad Max is based on the original movie franchise, but I would say more so on the 2015 reboot *Mad Max: Fury Road* with Tom Hardy and Charlize…More
