A few days ago, while browsing TikTok, a scene from an anime appeared among the views. As it caught my attention, I decided to look it up right away and give it a try; I didn't know what it was really about, but I liked the animation and noticed that beneath its apparent cuteness, I could find some dark elements and an interesting plot.

    Made in Abyss

    image.png

This anime focuses on Riko and Reg's journey to the bottom of the abyss, which is nothing more than a vast mysterious pit, filled with unusual creatures, ancient relics, and unique ecosystems in each of its seven strata.

Riko is a girl who lives in the orphanage in the city that was founded around the top of the abyss. In this institution, she is educated alongside other children as an apprentice cave raider, who are the ones who venture into the abyss, explore it, and rescue relics, and whose ranks range from red whistles to white whistles.

Riko, the daughter of a legendary explorer who remains inside the abyss, one day, during an expedition, finds a cyborg boy who has lost his memory, whom she names Reg, who apparently comes from the bottom of the abyss.

After receiving a letter from her mother, Riko decides to escape and venture into the abyss to search for her mother. Reg joins her and accompanies her, and so they begin their descent to the bottom of the abyss.

Now, as for the strengths of the anime, one of them is undoubtedly its animation; it is beautiful, colorful, tender, and although seemingly childish in its illustration (characters with huge super kawaii eyes), it can present us with raw moments, dangerous places, and characters.

The plot is original, as they created a whole world around the abyss around which a city grew; its ecosystem is unique in each stratum, the characters are unique, each with virtues, flaws, pasts, and more that they let us see without filters, and in addition, this whole world of exploration is interesting, because the deeper they go into the abyss, the more we see how beautiful and dangerous it can be, and we want to know more about this place and what is hidden there.

There are charming characters, others who are exasperating, and those who terrify us because of what they are capable of doing. This anime reminds us that human beings are often capable of anything to get what we want, turning us into unscrupulous beings.

Likewise, there are all kinds of characters, that is, we don't just see humans and creatures from the abyss; there are others, but I won't give too many details, because if you haven't seen this anime, I hope it makes you curious and encourages you to watch it.

As for the music, it's lovely; the opening and ending themes are very good and are accompanied by excellent animations that I loved watching.

Currently, this anime has only two seasons and a few movies, some of which compile or show us episodes from the first season in sequence (Movie 1: Dawn of the Journey and Movie 2: Wandering Twilight); in addition, the third movie must be seen before the second season or you won't understand anything. In this case, the order would be: Season 1, Movie 3: Dawn of the Deep Soul, and Season 2. I understand that there are two specials, which are optional: Marulk's Daily Life and Together with Dad.

In short, this anime based on a manga series of the same name is a gem, and all of us who have seen it are eagerly awaiting the return of the rest of its content to the screens; according to my research, it will return in a movie. To conclude, in my opinion, Made In Abyss deserves an 8.5/10.

    image.png

    Made in Abbys

    image.png

This anime is cruelly good. It's been one of the series I've enjoyed the most, and at the same time, the one that has left its mark on me emotionally. I've only seen it once, and that's enough for me to remember every single detail. Honestly, I have no idea what the author and creator could have imagined. And what I think characterizes this anime is its plot, so well-crafted and full of suspense, intrigue, and pain—an excessive amount of pain endured by the protagonists, to the point that it made me believe many times that it's simply meant to cover up humankind's darker tastes. This anime shows suffering at its most vivid, all to be experienced, not only with human beings but with other living beings.

    image.png

And at first, the story captivates with its friendly and tender animation, and the plot that's told from the beginning, to investigate what lies at the bottom of an abyss, instills curiosity in anyone, but as the episodes go by, dark, very dark things begin to happen that make you doubt whether you want to continue watching. The story unfolds in the life of a girl who lost her mother at a very young age. Her mother was an explorer and focused on investigating the abyss at the center of the city, but on one of those many expeditions, her mother simply didn't return. And like any good daughter, she developed a passion for this work and became an explorer at a very young age as well.

And well, because she's so young, she's forbidden entry into the abyss, but how could you not dare to enter that immense hole at such a young age? It's like forbidding a child from eating candy—very difficult. So this girl embarks on her adventure where she meets super cute and tender creatures along the way, unaware that later on, she'll discover what they are. Yes, I won't say what they are, but you get the idea. Plus, the protagonist receives the news that her mother might still be alive, which makes her even more determined to enter this immense abyss without the slightest bit of fear.

    image.png

So if she was brave enough to continue her journey, how could I not be able to finish this series and everything that this story entails? I had to finish it, enduring all the cruelty and suffering, but it's because I needed to give this anime some closure, and I don't regret having seen it. Its author is a genius, creating such a unique and unparalleled series; it's something I've never encountered before in an anime, and believe me, I've seen a few. For me, this story is a 10/10 for its well-crafted and structured plot, for its simple characters that make you connect almost immediately emotionally, and for awakening a curiosity that gives you the courage to want to finish it.

  3. “Made in Abyss: Un viaje al abismo que marcó mi corazón”./“Made in Abyss: A journey into the abyss that shaped my heart”.[ESP/ENG]@zeyneralejandro377d

Hello, nice to meet you, friends from Hive and this amazing anime-loving community!

Anime is an art we all share and enjoy together, and today I want to talk to you about one I started watching some time ago: Made in Abyss. I hadn’t mentioned it before because I wanted to finish watching the entire series before giving you my thoughts. Yesterday, I finally watched the last episode—despite all the daily responsibilities and challenges—and I can honestly say I don’t regret watching it. It left a deep mark on me.

    bd9b83cc735e60c9dce6c1d5457fd5ed.jpg

At first, I didn’t expect much from this anime, but it turned out to be one of the most emotional series I’ve ever seen. Both the first and second seasons had scenes that brought me to tears.

    5675d83ab48bd88d255c5de9b2592341.jpg

The story revolves around a massive, mysterious abyss that remains largely unexplored. Very few people have ever returned from it. Riko, our protagonist, and her loyal friend Reg prepare for a journey of no return. After reaching the sixth layer of the abyss, there’s no way back home.

It’s a powerful story with some intense scenes, despite its innocent-looking animation style. But trust me—you won’t regret watching this beautiful anime.

The series features amazing characters, and one of my favorites was Ozen the Immovable, a mysterious woman deeply respected by everyone in the story. I even made a drawing of her and shared it in a post—here’s the link if you’d like to see it.

    https://peakd.com/hive-174301/@zeyneralejandro/mi-dibujo-de-ozen-la-inamoviblemy-drawing-of-ozen-the-immovableespeng

Well, friends, that’s all I wanted to share for now. I’d love to talk about it even more, but I’m not sure how many of you have already watched the anime—and I know no one enjoys getting spoilers for something that has sparked their curiosity.

For those of you who have seen this great anime, I’d love to know: what was one unforgettable moment for you? One of my favorite scenes was Mitty’s farewell in the first season. That moment filled me with emotion and deep nostalgia.

Thank you so much for reading this post—I hope you enjoyed it. See you next time!

  4. Made in Abyss [Anime Review]@omokhafue406d

‎Was ranting randomly to this Ai on discord some months ago and idk, it actually understood me, even if I knew yeah, that was just some codes speaking to me. And this has absolutely no idea to do with what I'm about to say next. ‎ ‎I feel... weird. It's almost half a year now and I'm still in the process of completing black clover. For some reasons I'm just slow and it's a pain. Been watching random side animes though, but that doesn't count. In my prime, I used to binge watch a lot. I still have another prime awaiting me but sometimes, I like to mourn the old me. ‎ 873716b548c77752fa0690ad1a7c760e.jpg Source ‎Today, we shall be talking about Made in Abyss. Made in Abyss is a powerful and emotional anime that tells the story of a young girl named Riko and her journey into a deep and mysterious hole in the ground called the Abyss. This story may look cute at first, with its child characters and soft animation style, but it quickly becomes dark, heartbreaking, and unforgettable. ‎ ‎The Abyss is a giant pit that goes deep into the Earth. No one knows exactly how far it goes. The deeper you go, the stranger and more dangerous everything becomes. There are powerful monsters, strange plants, and ancient ruins. But the most frightening thing is the Curse of the Abyss; this is a strange sickness that affects anyone who tries to climb back up after going down. The deeper you go; the worse the curse becomes. At first, it’s just dizziness and nausea; but at the lower levels, it can cause bleeding from every part of your body; madness; and even death. ‎ ‎Riko is a 12-year-old girl who lives in a town built around the edge of the Abyss. Her mother; Lyza the Annihilator; was one of the greatest explorers, called White Whistles. One day, Riko receives a mysterious message and a relic from deep inside the Abyss. The message seems to be from her mother, who is thought to be dead. It says: “I’ll be waiting at the bottom.” This changes everything for Riko. She believes her mother is still alive and decides to go down into the Abyss to find her. ‎ bd9b83cc735e60c9dce6c1d5457fd5ed.jpg Source ‎But she doesn’t go alone. Along the way, she meets a strange robot boy named Reg. He has no memories of who he is or where he came from, but he clearly came from deep within the Abyss. Reg has long, powerful arms and can shoot energy blasts. He joins Riko on her journey; and the two of them become very close. ‎ ‎The anime has two seasons and a movie that connects the first and second seasons, with about 13 episodes each. ‎The anime looks cute on the outside, but it has deep, mature themes. It shows that the world is full of wonder and beauty; but also cruelty and suffering. The music, made by Kevin Penkin, is magical and emotional. It makes every moment feel alive, whether it's peaceful or tragic. ‎ ‎Made in Abyss is a one-of-a-kind anime. It will break your heart; but also fill it with wonder. It’s not an easy show to watch, but it’s worth every second if you’re ready for a dark and beautiful story. ‎ ‎Thanks for reading. ‎

  6. Review - Made in abyss season 2@genesishealthy528d

    Hello! 💙

And this is the second season of Made in Abyss an anime that undoubtedly left me very surprised because its appearance is a total deception that is an anime that has a very nice appearance very tender but nevertheless touches super strong themes unfortunately very human and that move you the deepest fibers.

Already in this season we are entering the sixth layer, a place both somber and fantastic where the origins of the hybrids between humans and beings of the abyss are explained a little more, and in turn we also learn the history of the first explorers to reach the depths of the abyss while we see the story of our protagonists Nanachi and Riko network.

This season I would say that I liked it a lot because it gets us much more into the lore of what is the abyss it generates many questions it gives us many answers and in turn gives us answers to things that we had not even wondered at all but that leaves us very marked in short this season I loved it and I hope to come a next one but nevertheless I must say that it closes very well it would be interesting to finish answering some questions that for me were left up in the air. However I must say that it closes very well it would be interesting to finish answering some questions that for me were left in the air this anime in general I find it spectacular I find it very good although I must admit that it is quite difficult to see at certain points because it has stories quite sources at an emotional level and scenes that really leave you marked.

  7. Review - Made in Abyss: Dawn of the Deep Soul@genesishealthy541d

This movie is an intermission between the first and the second season, and although it is not necessary to watch the second season to see this movie, it enriches the plot of the anime. It shows us a little more of the world of the abyss.

Now talking more specifically about the film we are already in the fourth layer, and we see how the three main characters Reg, Riko and nanachi continue exploring the abyss to give way to the much deeper layers, and they meet a very peculiar character who is the one that led nanachi to be in its current state.

Here the highlight of this film is that in addition to the fact that we continue exploring the whole abyss we also explore a lot of lore and the origin of nanachi and the voids that are beings that ascend in the fifth layer but lose all their humanity, plus we also discover why or how the white whistles are made. And personally this story is super strong, it is very melancholic and it is a story that makes us see firsthand how far a person can go to achieve their goals and certainly I think this film shows the darkest side and in turn also the greatest goodness that can be in a human being.

    Hello! 💙

This is one of those stories that reminds us that we should not get carried away by appearances. Before telling you a little about this anime that so far I found wonderful I comment that I came to see it because I saw a review on Instagram and I found it quite interesting plus it was on Netflix and I have a subscription to Netflix and had a little free time so it is normal the first days of the year that are usually little work, and already in itself in the same review said that the anime was not what it seemed but nevertheless that very very very surprised.

This anime really surprises because at first glance it seems to be a very sweet story very perhaps childish by the type of drawings that has more however it is very far from reality obviously there are positive moments and even moments of comedy trying or bringing them a little balance to the story but nevertheless it is a very raw story very realistic that makes us see what human desires are in terms of the greater light and darkness of the same.

    image.png

This anime takes you into a very very very interesting story where you go into a very deep abyss, totally different where little by little you discover with the characters as you go into the abyss what is physically in the place and also what is inside each of the characters with whom you interact during the story this first season covers only what is the first, second and third layer depth of the abyss, however it is a very good introduction to the whole story. The first season covers only the first, second and third layer of depth of the abyss, but nevertheless it is a very good introduction to the whole story and I personally was trapped. I will bring you the review soon when I finish watching the second season, but I really recommend it, it is one of the best anime I have seen in recent years.

Hello everyone! Dear The Anime Realm community, I hope you are feeling great today. This time I come again with a review of an anime, I will share with you my choices about one of the most popular anime in the medium, surely you have ever heard of it.. or surely you may have also seen it. It is about: Made in Abyss. This series is one of those that you start out of simple curiosity, or because someone recommended it to you, and you are totally impressed throughout its chapters. It has a great pace, and from the first chapters you get into a fascinating and mysterious world... that has a lot of depth, and never better said haha. The story follows Riko, a girl who dreams of becoming a great explorer like her mother... one day, she meets Reg, a little boy half robot, with an unknown origin. Together, they will decide to descend into the great Abyss, a huge hole full of mysteries, ancient relics, and many, many dangers...

The first thing to point out about this great series is its setting... The city built around the Abyss, is represented in a great way, although it is not much appreciated, if you pay enough attention, you will see how beautiful and interesting it is. Likewise, the Abyss itself is simply fascinating, and each layer of it has its own ecology, its own dangers, and its own beauty... which makes each descent a unique experience, both for us and for our protagonists... From incredible landscapes, to the very strange creatures that inhabit the depths... Everything is designed to transport you to this well-crafted fantasy world.

Se trata de: Made in Abyss.
It should be noted that this anime is for 17 years and older, do not be fooled by the childish aesthetics it has, take this into consideration.. as it is easy to judge something with just a first glance, but this series has some scenes that may shock a child, so well ... I share the classification for you to take into account. Going back to talk about this anime... I thought the animation was spectacular, with super detailed and vibrant backgrounds, the attention to detail is super evident in every scene...
The characters are also designed with a unique style, and not only have the main characters, the vast majority of characters had a great design! This anime, as I was telling you, touches quite dark themes, and can present situations that can be somewhat disturbing.. most of these focused on the “Curse of the Abyss”, which affects the explorers that go deeper and deeper into this one, this adds a deep and adult layer to this adventure that stops being childish and becomes an extremely dangerous one, where the lives of these children tends to a thread more than once.
As for the characters, they have a great development, Riko is an endearing protagonist, whose determination and curiosity are the strongest points of this series, these aspects of her are super contagious... Her friendship with Reg, who unfortunately remembers nothing of his past... is the main engine of this adventure. As they go on their journey, they will meet other characters that add a lot of emotion and sadness to the plot, which add to the complexity of the narrative. Each of them has their own story and their reasons for being in the abyss, this enriches the world of the series.

Among the best things that this story has, is how everything related to the mystery and tension is handled... the series keeps you glued watching it, eager to discover more about the Abyss and the secrets it hides... the story is so well constructed, that little by little it reveals information gradually, always keeping the mysterious essence... This, combined with the moments of great tension due to the deadly dangers of the Abyss, creates an exciting and intense experience. The music was great too, it has a mix of calm melodies, and other much more moving ones, that go great with the things we see, complementing a lot the different stages of the journey...
I think what makes this series stand out is its great ability to combine in a balanced way the wonder and the darkness, the joy and the sadness... with moments of tenderness, and others not so nice, where difficult issues are presented, expressing the consequences that these children will face... Because exactly, that's what makes the impact, we are not talking about adults facing great dangers, but simple children that although they knew what they were facing, they had no idea of all that they would observe and live... this gives this adventure a weight, and a seriousness like few I've seen.

However, like most works in this world, Made in Abyss is not perfect. Made in Abyss is not perfect. The pacing at the beginning of the series can be a bit slow, as the series focuses on showing you how their world works, and what the main motivations of their characters are... Also, many people may feel weird or affected with the somewhat disturbing scenes, and clearly this may not be to everyone's liking. It is important to be prepared for an experience that can be emotionally challenging... the best way to categorize this story is: Horribly beautiful. I consider that it can be improved in some aspects, although they are very minor things... Really this anime is among the best that have been made in recent years, and I think its story and complexity are the main reasons for this, and of course, its great ability to make you feel many different emotions.
This series has two seasons and a movie, the first season came out in 2017, and this one has 13 episodes... then, you must watch the movie: Made in Abyss: Dawn of the Deep Soul (2020). This movie continues the story of the first season, it is a canon movie, so it is necessary to understand the second season of this anime, which was released in 2022. This would be the order in which you should enter this interesting world...

Made in Abyss, no es perfecto.
Made in Abyss: Dawn of the Deep Soul (2020).

This anime is very unique, as I was saying, the art direction is incredible... each stage of the abyss has its own atmosphere, which reinforces the feeling of discovery. There is a lot of variety and richness in the visual designs. This not only embellishes the series, but serves to emphasize and highlight the differences and dangers between stages.. another thing, there are some episodes with an episodic narrative, this allows the series to explore different aspects of the world, and its inhabitants.. all this without taking the focus off the main objective, these episodes do not feel like filler, but brings data and relevant information to learn more about this whole world, and its complexities. This series is not afraid to take narrative risks, it has very good plot twists, and surprises that always keep you attentive, and eager to continue exploring...
Among other aspects that the series shows you are the search for knowledge, the curiosity to go into the unknown, the value of friendship, sacrifices, and more than once it invites us viewers to reflect, becoming more than a simple adventure series. This anime is very worthwhile. I highly recommend it, it is quite an experience, its animation, the adventure, the characters... everything is so well done. Those who are encouraged to give it a chance, if they haven't, will find it a fascinating and touching work.... My final rating is a great 9.7/10. I invite you to delve into the depths of this abyss, and explore with these characters the complex human emotions. I share with you the intro of this series to give you a glimpse... Take care, see you in the next review!

  10. Made In Abyss: Searching Into the Depths of the Abyss ~ Review@vinzie1815d

Let's have another review for today and it's an adventure, drama, with lots of mysteries they uncover into the depths of the abyss. It was written by Akihito Tsukushi and published by Takeshobo. Let's go into this anime review that was released last July on 2017.

    Divider_Hive_black_red.png

You can watch the trailer here below and see for yourself.

    Divider_Hive_black_red.png

When I saw this anime, I didn't mind it because I think it's another boring anime and my time will be wasted watching it. I was wrong because when I saw the first episode, there were lots of mysteries that involves in this anime. A mystery that they will soon find when they go into the abyss.

I have lots of questions while the anime was ongoing on the year that was released because as they embark into the abyss, there were lots of different creatures and it also have different environment that they will experience going down.

Brace yourself because this is more darker when you watch the episodes more and more and it is not suitable for kids to watch even though the characters are kids.

    Divider_Hive_black_red.png

    Story

The story is about a girl named Riko who wants to find her mom into the depths of the abyss. In her young age, she was determined to go into the abyss. She was taught in her class that it's dangerous to go into the abyss and only a few them survives when they go deeper into the abyss but she ignored it because she wants to ask something to her mom.

Riko lives around the top of the hole of the abyss because people wants to go and explore into the abyss. There were lots of different things, creatures, and foods that they can discover in the abyss and make money out of it in the expense of their lives.

The whistle represents on how many floors they can go into. Red whistles represents the slowest rank from a cave raider and white whistles represents the last rank which they can go deep into the abyss.

Riko have a robot friend named Reg and they are in a blue whistle and they live together her town and they went into the journey together with her teacher but Riko planned to escape from her restrictions from the blue whistle floors and go down to find her mom into the abyss together with her friend Reg. Will Riko succeed finding her mom? What will they encounter in their journey to the abyss?

    Divider_Hive_black_red.png

    Thoughts

This anime is not about magic where the characters use it to fire to the monsters, creatures, or other characters. I thought that I don't like this kind of anime but when I watched it, I became eager to watch to the next episode because I'm curious on what lies ahead in their journey.

What's the most interesting part is that they will slowly discover on the abyss and they were terrified when they knew it. Me too, I was shocked at the end of this anime. I didn't know that I was sucked in this kind of anime and I have lots of speculations but only a few of them were true in my speculation.

For me, Riko is a girl who wants to know and to see her mother in real because she was raised by not having a parent because her parents is a cave raiders which means her mother rarely goes into their town and she is longing for her mother for her loved maybe that's why she wants to search for her mother.

I won't spoil you anymore about this anime, but if you like adventure, drama, dark fantasy anime. I will recommend you watching this one and I will rate this anime 8/10 because the story is awesome and there were lots of challenges that they will experience.

First of all I want to give a warm greeting to all the people who are part of the #TheAnimeRealm community. Today I want to share with you my opinion about an anime that marked me incredibly, after watching it, no anime will be the same. So I leave you with my review of Made in Abyss.

    𝕊𝕪𝕟𝕠𝕡𝕤𝕚𝕤

    **Source**

What is Made in Abyss about? Well, I'm going to share with you the synopsis that sums up the plot of the series, taken from the page Animo App:

The story introduces us to a 12-year-old orphan girl named Riko living in an orphanage in the city of Orth, along with the other children of the orphanage, they are sent to search for mysterious objects called "Relics" to a large hole that leads to the center of the earth which they call "Abyss". Riko dreams of becoming a digger with a white whistle (people with these whistles can go down to the depth they want) one day while Riko is digging she is attacked by an animal that lives in the abyss but is saved by a boy who was there, the girl takes him to the orphanage because he was unconscious, after a few tests Riko concluded that the young man is a robot/humanoid which she called "Reg". One day Riko receives a letter from the depths of the abyss from his mother (who was supposedly dead) saying "I was waiting for her" When she reads this she decides to travel to the abyss accompanied by Reg to find her.

Now, I add some details of the series for you to take into account when watching it:

The series consists of two seasons, each of 12 episodes along with a movie. To watch this series I recommend watching Season 1 first, followed by the movie called Made in Abyss Movie 3: Fukaki Tamashii no Reimei, and then watching Season 2. Each episode is approximately 25 minutes, while the movie is almost two hours long.

There are a large number of characters in this series throughout the story, however, they can be grouped as follows:

In the First Season, the main characters, the white whistles, and the auxiliaries appear, while in the Second Season, the characters that inhabit the Ilbu Village appear.

    𝔾𝕖𝕟𝕖𝕣𝕒𝕝 𝕆𝕡𝕚𝕟𝕚𝕠𝕟

    **Source**

OK, what can I tell you about this series without giving you Spolilers? First of all, I'm going to be quite honest with you. I don't recommend watching it if you're the type of person who is quite sensitive to strong images, like dismemberment, blood everywhere, and cruelty.

And the fact is that the series despite having characters so cute at first sight, as the story progresses it becomes darker and darker, to the point of showing strong and unpleasant images where you will have to cover your eyes not to witness them.

It was not recommended to me, however, I was so intrigued by the opinion and comments of a group of friends I have on WhatsApp who had already seen it and others were starting to watch it, that I said, I mean, how tragic can a series with such cute drawings be? it can't be that they talk about such grotesque things in this anime. So I set out to watch it.

I honestly wish I had never seen it. Although I didn't like the series mostly because of its strong and grotesque moments in different situations, the series left a mark on me, for better or worse, that I will never forget. And it is that the first season shocked me at the end, the plot was going so well, but the ending was incredibly disturbing. So much so that I was afraid to watch the movie, I thought: I don't think the film is that strong, strong?, the film was cruel at its best.

I found it abominable that it made me question the author of this series, I don't understand where so much evil comes in when describing such cruel characters.

By the Second Season, I already had an idea of what could happen, however, I thought I had seen it all with what I saw before, but nope. Second Season, from beginning to end starts very very graphically, and every episode is full of strong scenes.

But, all that aside, the way it ended I liked it and it leaves me looking forward to watching an upcoming Third Season, which I hope they take quite a while to get it out so that I have time to get over my "trauma" after watching Made in Abyss.

And the author has a certain something, that traps the viewer in such a way, playing with their emotions, feelings, and psychology, to the point that the story, the plot, and the characters catch you from the beginning to the end. In conclusion, this anime is a masterpiece and has been one of the best I have seen.

Although it is cataloged as an Adventure, Science Fiction, Drama, Fantasy, Mystery, and Psychological genre series, I would particularly place it in the Gore and Seinen genre, which are nothing more than genres that refer to adult themes, with scenes of a lot of violence, full of terror and exploitation focused on the visceral and extremely graphic violence, besides also including sex themes.

So I warn you again if you are someone sensitive when it comes to viewing images of this type, I recommend you to have discretion and well, because of the high graphic content of violence it possesses, I do not recommend it for children or family viewing.

Here is the trailer for Season 1.

Well, I'm going to leave my post and my opinion up to this point so as not to give you spoilers. I'll let everyone watch it and draw their conclusions. But I would like to read what you thought of my review and if you would dare to watch this series after reading it. Let me know in the comments your opinion about it, I'd love to read you! Greetings and be well, until a future post. 😄

Honestamente desearía no haberla visto.

    Personal feedback:

I never expected this anime to be so beautiful. Just like the story, so is the animation + music. At first I was wondering what will happen to the adventures of normal children?? But I never imagined that this anime would be so dark in some places. Some episodes are very emotional. Animation looks perfect from all sides. Its movie is also very beautiful. And what about the World building!! If you just look, you will understand that all the detailing has been done so nicely that it is impossible to say.

It will have its 2nd season at the end of this year . I ain't sure.

  13. [ESP - ENG] Made in Abyss - Un anime visualmente hermoso con una historia tragica@shadowmyst1796d

    imagen.png

When I first saw the animation of Made in Abyss it struck me as an anime that would be about a tender story and I couldn't have been more wrong in an anime. Visually it's beautiful, the art I love, but once you start exploring the plot of the anime itself it slowly fills you in with armagura.

In Made in Abyss we are in a city that lives economically from the "relics" found within the abyss, each of the relics has a special function and are cataloged in their danger. These relics do not know where they came from, but the explorers are focused on looking for them, however only the most experienced explorers can explore the depths of the abyss, among them is the mother of our protagonist who has not heard anything from her until her whistle returns to the surface.

Our protagonist decides to go down into the abyss to look for her mother, but this is not a cliché anime story where the hero (in this case the heroine) gets out of any danger without consequences, here any mistake can be too dangerous and going deeper and deeper into the abyss becomes dangerous, not only because of the creatures that inhabit it, but by the very essence of the abyss itself.

    imagen.png

There are 12 chapters plus a movie that catch you from the first moment you watch the series, because you want to know if they manage to find their mother, likewise you want to know where the relics are from, what energy has the abyss itself and many more mysteries.

This anime had occasions in which I got more than one tear, because you are moved by the story that has a particular character which I will not talk about because if you want to see this anime I will not make you spoiler.

I am currently waiting for a second season that is supposed to come out in 2022, it was planned to come out this year, but due to the pandemic it has been delayed and delayed. I would like to tell you more about the anime, but the story is so short so far where it goes that I feel that anything I tell you may end up in a huge spoiler, so I invite you to watch this anime that I sincerely hope you will like it.

[Made in Abyss] Parę dni temu, internet obiegła informacja, że "Made in Abyss" w końcu dostanie 2 sezon. Nadal nie widziałem pierwszego, ale prawdopodobnie przed premierą drugiego nadrobię zaległości - podobno to wybitne anime i kilku moich znajomych uważa, że to jeden z lepszych tytułów jakie widzieli. Cóż, chętnie się o tym przekonam. https://www.animenewsnetwork.com/news/2021-05-04/made-in-abyss-anime-gets-2nd-tv-anime-season-action-rpg-in-2022/.172438

[Spriggan] Netflix udostępnił nowy plakat reklamujący nowy film anime od studia David Production ("Jojo's Bizzare Adventure", nowe anime "Captain Tsubasa").

[Rebuild of Evangelion i najlepiej zarabiający film Hideaki Anno] Jak donosi Japoński box-office, finałowa część "Rebuild of Evangelion" jest najlepiej zarabiającym filmem w reżyserii Hideakiego Anno.

Twórcy świetnego "Who Am I" i "Dark" pracują nad nowym tytułem.

  16. Made in abyss: The anime that almost destroyed me emotionally (review)@stairway2heaven1924d

Hello Hivers I hope you are very well, last week I gave myself the opportunity to meddle in certain anime pages to see which series would call my attention in some way, and in this case it was not in vain. This series is called Made in abyss at first instance despite its notorious childish characteristics of the characters I was really surprised by the deep emotional, psychological and morally questionable aspects that are addressed or demonstrated and how this particular series almost destroyed me emotionally.

    Synopsis / Sinopsis

Our story begins on a distant island in the middle of the sea called the sea of Beoluska, this island has a rather unique feature and that is that in the center of it is a huge and very deep hole which is called "The abyss". Around the hole is a city that surrounds it, and inside the hole are found objects or artifacts belonging to an ancient civilization apparently very advanced that disappeared long ago, accompanied to this is a unique ecosystem and completely different in every way to what we can perceive or know in our world and is this factor of the inhospitable and unknown what drives several excavators and explorers to enter and to collect and study all this immense world and that the pieces that they collect may have a significantly considerable value abroad, these people are called "Cave raiders" who undertake arduous descents in order to collect or study everything that can be found, however despite the incredible and inhospitable ecosystem as well as its great variety of monstrous creatures the Cave raiders must face a much worse and more dangerous difficulty as they descend, This phenomenon is called "the curse of the abyss" the deeper you go, the more difficult it becomes as you ascend to the surface because the layers exert a pressure that affects you in a very negative and sickening way. This type of repercussions become much more intense or serious as you go deeper and deeper.

And it is here in this scenario where one of our main characters enters, Riko, a 12 year old girl quite energetic and somewhat rebellious as well as very extroverted by nature and very naive in certain aspects, considering such age is not surprising however such character is attributed to her great curiosity to venture into the abyss and it is because her mother is considered one of the best cave raiders called Lisa "the annihilator" a digger with a white whistle rank. In this world the white whistle rank as such is the last rank and the most difficult to obtain, it is measured based on the colors that represent the other whistles as if it were a hierarchy, therefore this figure is a heroine for the city and Ryuko wants to follow in her mother's footsteps and become a white whistle as well as meet her lying in the abyss.

    Characters / Personajes

Riko: As I mentioned before she is 12 years old and wants to follow in her mother Lisa's footsteps and become a white whistle and a great digger, to meet her by venturing into the abyss since her mother has been missing in that place for 10 years after she was born. She currently lives in an orphanage called "Belchero" where she is an apprentice Cave rider, she has the rank of red whistle one of the lowest and is assigned to both her and the other labor orphans and excursions in the first or near the first layer of the abyss, the layer more "safe" and that does not affect much when ascending only causing slight dizziness.

Reg: He is a cyborg although at first instance Riko confuses him as a robot and other characters the same, but it is the opposite has the characteristics of a young human his skin despite not being quite the same as that of a human is very elastic and soft, and can consume food and drink to replenish their energy. He suffers from amnesia losing his memory for reasons that are still unknown so not knowing his name Riko calls him "Reg" the name of an old puppy she had a long time ago, also his arms have the incredible ability to extend and his hands have a cannon that fires a heat beam that can literally incinerate anything, but unfortunately the use of it has a counterproductive effect for which I will save myself not to say so much information.

Nanachi: Nanachi is a character that is introduced in the plot a little later, is a very analytical and intelligent character quite cautious, was a girl who lived in the north of the city on the surface that unfortunately went through many unpleasant experiences that led her to survive currently in the abyss, later is integrated with the duo and helps them a lot to meddle in their journey.

    Animation / Animacion

From my point of view the animation is beautiful especially when it focuses on the central shots where it shows the city or where it focuses on the abyss. As the plot progresses the way they make the flora and fauna of the various layers, as well as the structures and how the homes, streets and workshops of the city are consolidated has not bothered me visually even by my standards this is noticeable in a good way in the people as well as in their designs, It is enough to take a look at the first episode to notice the incredible level of detail that has been given to this environment for its elaboration with the intention of capturing a living world and as realistic as possible and this will be very noticeable in the small details and with this point I also refer to the creatures having a free path in a creative way gives you the opportunity to demonstrate in various ways this and make it noticeable accompanying it with a good animation.

Personal opinion and conclusion / Opinion personal y conclusion

Very well we come to the point in which I will be as descriptive as possible and I will touch and specify certain factors and others that I personally did not like very much and I think they could have been better elaborated, besides here I will also take the liberty to detail to a certain extent according to what you have seen in the title of my presentation why this series almost destroys me emotionally since they know how to hit in the lowest way.

I learned my lesson long ago not to judge a book by its cover and it is for that reason that I dug into this series and I am clearly satisfied to some extent. You see, one of the aspects that I personally liked a lot is the creative elaboration of the unknown, you are shown a panorama or a world which is completely different and isolated by the little intervention of the hand of man, which has much to offer you in terms of environment, ecosystem, creatures, architecture and traces of lost civilizations, but not for this is a safe place on the contrary you are immersed in the unknown and even knowing that you want to learn and meddle more about this place. You are in a world where nature is much more cruel and challenging where the slightest mistake can cost you your life and for me that's fine because as I mentioned before it gives you the creative freedom or in this case the creator to do whatever he wants, however there is a factor that I personally didn't like very much and that is the children. So it is to see how these kids have to go through a variety of difficulties not at all easy and notice how they are exposed to such dangerous situations, is what partly made me doubt because a part of me enjoyed it because I wondered what they found but there was also that other part generated by the discomfort to which they were subjected there is a great morality and ethics questionable to some extent and see how these expeditions leave great consequences not only physically but emotionally and psychologically to the characters is pretty rough, add to that that they are only children becomes a little more difficult to digest from my point of view mainly as the plot progresses. The plot takes a slow pace and does so to present more of what really happens, otherwise as the chapters progress the situations become more difficult.

Despite this I recommend it, the soundtrack does a very good job as well as the opening and ending were of complete pleasure for me I also recommend once you have decided to watch the series, watch the movies that are 3 in total, the first 2 are a summary of the entire series as such and the third is the continuation of what happened at the end of the anime, you can see the 1 and 2 and continue to 3 or skip the 2 movies and go to the third movie directly where really hit much more emotionally, I will now give you the name of the movies.

The first one is titled Made in abyss: dawn of the crossing, the second one is titled Made in abyss wandering twilight and the third one Made in abyss dawn of the deep soul and this is the one that hurts the most.

And well here concludes this post I hope you liked it and give a chance to the series without more to say thank you for reading.

  17. Made In Abyss - The Mysteries And The Curse Of The Abyss [ENG -ESP]@kuronokenshi1962d

    image.png screenshot of my monitor

Perhaps one of the easiest and even somewhat hasty conclusions we draw when we see the animation of an anime is that if it has a rather cheerful, innocent and Moe-like style in its design we assume that the anime has to be Shonen but this is not always the case. Made In Abyss is the clear example of how you can make a great Seinen with a Moe-like animation at first glance. As I already mentioned Made In Abyss is a Seinen anime that has elements of science fiction, fantasy and drama, all this together with psychological undertones that are quite strong for what you would expect from its graphic design. This anime has a total of 12 episodes and a movie, the same was released in 2017. Without further Spoiler I will talk about its story and plot.

Separador Final sin fondo.png image.png screenshot of my monitor

The essence of this world is based on the existence of a mysterious and dangerous abyss along with the city of Orth that has been built around the abyss to be the starting point for all those who wish to venture into the depths of the abyss in search of its relics. However, not everything is as easy as it seems because this mysterious abyss that seems to have no end has countless fantastic and dangerous creatures that will not hesitate for a second to kill all those who venture into it, there is also the so-called curse of the abyss that affects all those who once in the depths ascend to get out of hell that happens to be the abyss. The abyss has different levels separated by the curse that caused the ascent and these range from simple dizziness and fainting to internal bleeding, the worst of all is caused by ascending from the sixth layer which is the deepest "explored" the curse that causes the rise of this layer is the loss of humanity and immediate death.

    image.png screenshot of my monitor

Our main protagonist will be Rika an adorable orphan girl who lives in an orphanage in the city of Orth and lives her life together with her friends looking for relics in the first layer of the abyss to pay the expenses of the orphanage. One day she meets a strange half-robot boy named Reg who saves her life by defending her from an extremely dangerous creature from the lower layers that had ascended to the first layer without any explanation. Our beloved Rika is the daughter of a legendary explorer of the abyss and member of the highest ranks of explorers known as White Whistles who supposedly died years ago in an exploration. However, one day they pick up her mother's belongings abandoned in the depths of the abyss and in them there is a letter which leaves the intrigue if she is really dead or not, product of this Rika decides to venture into the depths with Reg to find her mother.

Separador Final sin fondo.png image.png screenshot of my monitor

Throughout several episodes we will see how our protagonists will advance more and more in the depths of the abyss and reach capable where he had never reached a child of Rika's age, as they go into the dangers of this strange abyss we will discover the reason why this anime is a Seinen and not a Shonen as you might expect. The curses and their effects are getting worse as they descend and seeing how Rika suffers some of them is really shocking, in addition to this we discover the reason why there are so few White Whistles and the extremely disturbing mysteries that are hidden and that only the White Whistles know, many of these legendary White Whistles are rarely seen on the surface and even some of them considered legends abandoned everything to live in the abyss and it is unknown if they are still alive or not.

Separador Final sin fondo.png image.png screenshot of my monitor

In the abyss time passes differently from the surface and what can be days in the depths end up being years on the surface, likewise to last so long in the deep both the body and mind are changing and therefore it could be said that all those who manage to be White Whistles end up losing part of their humanity. The movie of this anime is even stronger in terms of psychological themes and shows us that this anime, even though it has a really adorable animation, is not for all audiences, this movie is a direct Canon of the story and in the future I will talk about it. Made In Abyss without any doubt is an excellent Seinen to watch that will show you really shocking events and will keep you intrigued while it shows us that you can make a strong story with adorable designs and besides this I must add that it has one of the best soundtracks to give a really incredible atmosphere.

    image.png screenshot of my monitor

Separador Final sin fondo.png image.png screenshot of my monitor

    image.png screenshot of my monitor

Separador Final sin fondo.png image.png screenshot of my monitor

Separador Final sin fondo.png image.png screenshot of my monitor

  18. Reseña Anime - Made in Abyss@hectorsanchez181992d

    Hola Comunidad!!

Cuddles!!

  19. Made in Abyss Review - Great Manga@mr-writer2025d

Half a month ago I watched the continuation of Mede in abyss, at that point I couldn't think of anything anime, it totally enchanted me and was buried in the story after nearly two hours of continuous development.

I remember my constant evolution here in light of the fact that I don't usually do this. I cannot sit and watch the anime for long periods of time, and there is not much animation that can sit in front of the screen to complete it in one meeting. It's also the drive to try not to watch movies due to the length of the show.

Regardless, after I finished watching the movie, I thought about what I could discuss. I previously needed to scrutinize the film to try to clarify the mystical feelings I had while watching. I needed to portray the state of my events and the way I sat in front of the screen as if I was watching "Advanced Saints" for the first time on SpaceStone.

I thought about what I could discuss, and my drafts consistently pushed me to one idea; Yes, I was totally bewitched by what was happening in front of me in terms of events, and yet I was apprehensive, which is more uncommon to me than the minutes I choke on anime and totally follow it all at once.

    image.png

Why am I not watching horror?

The way atrocity relies on exaggerated violence and terrible trauma, foolish and weak characters, and humble stories that you just can't cooperate with trying to terrify you "modest" push me away from it.

In fact, even Junji Ito's manga - however I realized his incredible creativity and ability to play with basic feelings of fear - couldn't influence me much. The kind of stories that he's written and their heavy reliance on crude apprehensions make me a better scenario that "annoys" me about what I see, rather than generally "apprehensive" about what will happen.

The main reason these works prevent me from affecting me is that they do not prevail in terms of bringing me to the workplace, nor do they allow me by the way to understand the characters and get to know them enough to be influenced by what is new. With them.

This is the thing that makes so diverse in my view, despite the fact that it depends on the horrible thing that generally does not work with me, it is very fruitful, and most of all is building a supernatural world and it can capture my thinking while watching, I can interact with characters That goes on the trip, and don't try to play with my feelings just after you've done this compilation and connection.

Characters like Ozen, Mimi, and Bondrade can live in my memory even after I watched the anime and it has been more than two years since it ended, regardless of the limited time they appear on screen compared to the main characters, only in light of the fact that the way they are presented on occasions And the general working environment can persist in this matter. The show stirred these characters in my memory in an extraordinary way.

    The story

In the world of Made in Abyss, there is a group of extraordinary individuals, these are the only ones who discovered how to reach the sixth layer of the emptiness and below it, Uzen's mother, Bondred, and Lisa Rico are the only individuals we know constantly that there is a white whistle in the first part of the anime, And they are the characters the main part of the journey.

On the main scale, the way townspeople and fledgling miners take whistles in white whistle carriers is closer to the way in which saintly individuals see in illusions as if they were other pure animals, and on the second plate there is the appearance of more experienced miners, and the perspective of the individuals who ran These myths are straightforward, showing them from a completely unusual point.

Lisa confined and neglected. She constantly seized an opportunity with her impending comrades' lives to fulfill her passion for investigating a void, and was not completely fair to her mates and even those closest to her. Uzen has no sympathy for anyone trying to investigate the chasm, and the solitary explanation behind her for pretending to be careful and respectful of Reg and Rico is her own vision of Jesus.

On the account of Lisa and Ozen, we can understand the issue, as the two actually have a piece of the human race, by no means as evidenced by what we see from the occasions, but for Bundred, the issue is so different as it is difficult to understand someone who tortures and turns children To monsters, whatever his goal.

    image.png

Why is it difficult to obtain a Bondrade?

What she says predicts that the family should work through direct relationships. I don't think it's true. A sympathetic heart is what makes a gathering of people a family. Blood doesn't help much this way. It's passion, love, Nanachi.

It's not hard to allude to Bondred as "another crazy anime character" and to avoid the circular part completely connected in the movie, and this is based on trying to understand his inspiration and the way he deals with the world is by no means simple. From the start he's been called smart, and the story is made to be the friendliest person. The "horror" is among all the characters that have appeared in it so far - even among the monsters that live in the chasm.

Unlike other white informants, Bondred did not allow another person to make amends to have the option to jump into the depths of the pit, rather, he wanted to abandon himself and live under the weight of the apparatus that conveyed his consciousness. At the gatherings of his aides. Elsewhere, this is a gentleman's story that gives Bondred a higher profile than the rest of the white whistle holders.

Despite this, the influence of the apparatus that a hundred used to circulate his knowledge among the various bodies was not a magician, and his humanity gradually discarded, until her two most magnificent pieces remained; The great side that led him to give himself up for someone else, and the curious side that lured him into the abyss anyway.

Bondred treats children with great kindness, even before he puts them on the operating table to turn them into sources of energy for his own weapon, even after they try and expose them to a pit lesion, and even after they are gone; He remembers their names, dreams, desires and attempts no matter what was expected to show them some kind of interest before their death.

At the same time, he has the enthusiasm to look at the scourge of the Void to obtain it, and this energy is what inspires him to work constantly so that he can obtain the "preference" for the chasm that has appeared in Nanachi, and further push him to implement the abominations he offers to the little ones.

Bondred is the real person, as I would like to think, which appears when he runs Nanashi, the solitary person in this world who can act with him as he is without a contradiction between his caring side and his attention. Time knows her as his child and his family.

The difficulty that makes Bondrade difficult to understand, as I see it, is that he is not trying to position himself as a morally stable individual, nor is he trying to legitimize his activities just like any decent person in any way. Imagination, such that it does not interest him fundamentally, interest is the only inspiration and it is the only thing he can comprehend in this world. The moment you see his activities from that point, from the point of view of what remains of his humanity, you will see that what he does is more "rational" and that his activities make more sense. You will not identify with him, for he is in all its details a frightening killer and butcher, but you will realize him more. This is the thing that makes him the most "worrisome" character I see.

    image.png

    How about a brave woman?

The way the three main characters in this story have led me to view it as a "teenage journey" in a structure, and going as children achieve emptiness as they search for their characters - regardless of whether sexual or scientific - strengthens this confidence in me. The chasm, which has a strict character in this work, raises in Rico many views that she did not know existed, and caused her to reach reality in relation to this world.

Rico's journey in this story is an impression of the myths blown by her mother's winds and other white whistling carriers, and the only contrast between Rico and the other white vectors is that she in particular will not completely revisit from the surface - at the end of the day, she's the only one who understands the rigorous journey to the point The pivot of the void, not because of her fear of the infamous, but rather of her longing to move forward.

  20. Made in abyss, a great option to see (ING) (ESP)@snader2074d

    made in abyss.jpg

    INGLISH:

Hi guys, today I will give my personal opinion on this anime, I hope you like it.

Made in Abyss is a manga series written and illustrated by Akihito Tsukushi. It is serialized online since October 2012 on the publisher Takeshobo's Comic Gamma website. but let's talk about the most interesting, which is history, its development and its world

the world: Made in abyss takes place in a world completely different from ours, where there are various creatures in something called the abyss, which is a hole that leads to the center of the earth, these creatures vary from birds to snakes and much more, each one is beautiful and dangerous alike, however the beauty of anime is in the mixture of both, the danger and the cute. The surface is not so much worth talking about, since the anime takes place in the abyss, something we will talk about later, what should be emphasized is that in said city objects taken from the abyss are traded, unique and rare objects that there is not elsewhere, that is why the abyss is so important.
Riko is one of the main characters, she lives in said city as an orphan, but works collecting things in the closest and least dangerous layers of the abyss, that is the most important thing to say about the surface . Now let's talk about the plot of the story without spoilers.

Argument: As we already talked about, Riko is an orphan who lives on the surface and works as a collector of objects in the most superficial layers of the abyss, something like a miner, but one day she met a boy named reg who saves her life and she thinks who comes from the bottom of the abyss due to their various differences, riko wants to follow in her mother's footsteps and become a legendary cave rider or rather the white whistles (I'll explain later what that is) And reg doesn't remember anything so the only way to remembering is going down into the abyss from which she came, so she and reg embark on an adventure going down through the abyss, BUT !! Things are not so simple, since in the abyss there is a curse, and that is that the more they lower the pressure, the greater will be and they will not be able to get out, because if they try to get out they could die, and not only is that, creatures inhabit the abyss so dangerous that they can kill in a single attack.

    Made-in-Abyss-Anime.jpg

The legendary cave riders and the abyss:

The cave riders are a kind of miners or something like that, they are in charge of collecting relics and objects from the abyss, each artifact has its defined values, some are cheap and others are very expensive, some rare and others common, like any game and its items, however there are different types of cave riders that go by levels, I will not lengthen that but if I will go to the point with the legendary, the legendary are known as white whistles, they are the strongest, intelligent, eccentric and those who but they have descended into the abyss at the risk of never rising to the surface again, riko's mother is a white whistle, but it is believed that she is at the bottom of the abyss and it is believed that she had something to do with Reg ... that's why it's so important for our heroes to get down.

Conclusion and personal opinion: Made in abyss is a masterpiece in my opinion, it has a vast world with various creatures which made it difficult for me to imagine, more than once I was surprised, when watching the anime or reading the manga you will notice that not everything is color of Pink as it seems from the drawing style, it tells a very deep story showing the limits of sanity and the resistance of innocence. The dangers faced by the protagonists and the limits of a dream. It is incredible how someone could capture so much beauty and so much cruelty in the same work, it really is a jewel of Japanese animation, the art, the soundtrack, absolutely everything is incredible, do I recommend it? YES absolutely YES.

    made in abyss.jpg

  21. Made in Abyss was not the show I was expecting to get@dlstudios2794d

Made in Abyss was not the show I was expecting it to be. It is a story of a young girl who wants to become a cave diver, someone who delves into a mysterious place called the Abyss. I'll need to briefly explain this, as the Abyss and the effects it has are pretty crucial to understand the show.

A town has built up around the Abyss, and Cave Divers delve into it to uncover artifacts. There is something called the Curse of the Abyss, basically, if you try to ascend after going down, your body feels a variety of negative effects. Early levels it's something as small as Dizziness or some light nausea. Later levels you can start to hallucinate, and at a certain depth of the abyss, the effects can become fatal to anyone too weak to handle it.

Riko, the main character, is a twelve-year-old girl training to become a Cave Diver and stumbles across a robot who has lost his memories. Together, they decide to delve into the Abyss on their own, despite not having the qualifications to do so. Riko believes that her mother, presumed dead, is alive and waiting for her at the very bottom of the Abyss. Reg, the robot boy, wants to uncover his memories and believes for a few reasons returning to the bottom of the Abyss will recover them.

At first, it sounds like this is going to be a somewhat light-hearted adventure with a good dose of danger thrown into the mix. But the longer the show goes on the darker things tend too, as you start to realize just how extreme the effects of the Abyss can be. Even by the second or third layer, it becomes evident that Riko's body cannot handle an ascent. It starts to feel like they may never get the chance to return home.

Then you meet Ozen, a White Whistle. Those who have white whistles are the highest rank of Cave Diver and are given no limit to how far they are allowed to descend into the Abyss. While you are given an idea of what they are like, it is very clear after meeting her that the Abyss has had a strange effect on their mind. While it still feels like they are talking to someone, Ozen feels distinctly inhuman, and the things she has done to her body to keep alive in the Abyss are nothing short of extreme.

It's really not until the last three episodes, however, that the magnitude of the situation seriously begins to set in. I won't get into details to avoid spoilers, but you realize how even ascending a short distance can have disastrous effects on the body, I am talking just several feet, and the things one has to do to survive even on the fourth layer. The mental fortitude, the physical endurance, and everything else that is required of a person to survive something like this is surreal, and we are seeing essentially two children in the midst of it, with no way of being able to go back.

In the best way possible, Made in Abyss becomes very hard to watch. Having to watch characters we've come to like go through this, seeing them learn to deal with it, and seeing the resolve they have to move forward is amazing to watch unfold.

All of this is helped along by some of the best visual design I have seen in an anime for some time. The environments are varied and fascinating, the details in the animation, and especially some of the monster designs, are just incredible. A show about exploring the unknown of the world needs to throw things at you that you simply aren't used to seeing and excite the imagination, and Made in Abyss does that consistently through the entire seasons run.

So long as you are not entirely turned off by the idea of, essentially, watching small children go through traumatic experiences, definitely give Made in Abyss a watch. There is a slew of fascinating characters, spectacular visuals, and a story that leaves an impact and makes you care about everyone involved. I eagerly await a date for season 2.

  30. Made in Abyss Review@apkdl3125d

Perhaps our world, perhaps a completely different world ... Whatever it is, there is a huge underground abyss in this world. Moreover, this is the only place in the world that has remained undiscovered. The depth of this huge pit called Abyss, the abyss, is not fully known, and is divided into sections such as Layer 1 - Layer 2. Abyss become increasingly dangerous as they go from top to bottom, ie two, three, four from the first layer. How deeper indigenous treasures deepen, the forms of life they contain begin to become more dangerous and more aggressive. Moreover, the effects on people are also dangerous. For  example, you can skip the first layers with a small dizziness,  vomiting, and you can show more severe symptoms as you progress. Cave Raiders, the explorers who took the name of the cave raids, are descending to Abyss and doing research. For example if you are a red whistle you can go down to the first layer at most. If you're a black whip, it's possible that you can go from fourth to fifth. For  the most noble and frightening white whistles, there is no limit, and  they usually go on a one-sided journey to find the Abyss back to back.

In  such a world, bases around the miracle called Abyss have been  established, the bases have multiplied and multiplied, and the cities  surrounding the Abyss have come to fruition. One of these cities teach Orth'tur and explorer to children staying in the Belchero Orphanage. One  of these children is Rico, who is 12 years old, and she is aiming to  solve this great mystery by finding Abyss' dibe in one of the cheerful,  vicious, fearless Ricoe. One  day when his friend Nat explores the first layer, he comes face to face  with a monster who has come from the lower layers, which should not be  there. To  protect Nat, Riko feeds herself, and eventually a full monster is  caught, but a huge laser beam saves her life by hitting a monster. Rico finds a boy lying unconscious at the end of the road as he explores the direction that the laser is coming. At first sight, Lakin looks at the boy, who looks like an old man, and Rico realizes it is a robot. Together with his friend Nat, they take the robot boy to the orphanage and Rico gives him the Reg name. A surprise awaits Rico, who is living in the confusion of the Robot Reg. A news balloon has risen from the depths of Abyss. Besides, the news is that she's a mother white Lyza with a white whistle.

Although Made in Abyss is not one of the most wonderful animations I have ever seen, the effect is different. It was hard to pour words, nostalgic and different atmosphere. The story is really interesting. The curiosity of what he has in Abyss, the fact that every layer becomes increasingly dangerous, keeps the animeye alive. With  the advantage brought by the 13 episodes, the momentum is progressing  smoothly and there is not much in the same place (not counting the last  episodes, but it is not a fault). Having  an animenin 12 or 13 episodes is usually disadvantageous because the  momentum fast advances in the lacquer Made in Abyss the tempo is well  fixed. The comedic elements that do not reach to absurdity, the dramatic  aspects, the plus aspects of the animeness that avoid the use of blood  when it comes to the place.

Age has always been a problem for me in the anime series. I have become so strange that my younger sister has been rescuing our lyric brothers and sisters from the world. We are not going to pursue foolishness, but the maturity and intelligence at the end of time is always strange to me. But this time our heroes are 12 years old Rico and his sister Reg. If  we put the beauty of the story on the edge, it's a bit absurd that you  try to go to a place where two "parents" in the middle school level can  not even reach big people. You're 12 years old! Play the game, play the lesson, practice it, spell it, and then get to the Abyss! I  did not think I would say that, but for the first time I thought Riko  was at least in high school age :) If I look at it with a realistic  point of view, these layers have to die already. Personally, I like the serenity of the Ozen character, I slap them two, put it on a ball and post it back up :)

Aside from the cute little heroes, one of the most striking aspects of animene's drawings. Drawings are different from normal drawings we are used to. I liked cute characters with round faces that were placed on detailed and dazzling background drawings. When I came to the place as I said, it was not avoided to use blood in the tension scenes. I  can say that I found the opening and closing music to be too childish.  Ten tracks in two tracks, Underground River and Hanezeve Caradhina,  playing in some lanky parts.

Made in Abyss I have seen that I have seen favorable comments on the right and on the left. Unfortunately the series is half finished and we have to wait for the second season. If  you want to go on a journey with the content, a cute, sincere and  curious journey with your story, I would love to offer you the adventure  of Rico and Reg.

  31. Anime review: Made in Abyss@thatanimesnob3126d

This show is like a pretty looking mystery box, booby-trapped with a dozen poisoned needles. It’s beautiful to watch, painful to approach, and disappointing once you open it. What I mean by that, the only incentive it’s giving you is the scenery porn, the torture porn, and the constant unknown of what lies ahead. All three of which have been proven to be disasters for any title.

The setting of the show is Kaiba gone terribly wrong. In both series, we initially know nothing about the world and the amnesiac main character. By the time the show is over a dozen episodes later, we know everything about Kaiba, and absolutely nothing about the Abyss. It’s a perpetually ongoing mystery, existing for the sole purpose of teasing the viewer, before it overstays its welcome and becomes nonsensical in the likes of Lost.

There is no sense of meaningful adventure. Rico wants to explore the abyss, find her mother, and does neither. Gon in Hunter X Hunter for example, was also looking for his father, finds him at the end, while informing you about every area he was going to. Rico on the other hand didn’t find her mother and didn’t discover anything, since the only thing she knows about the Abyss is scattered information other explorers have already recorded in books.

Said information is limited to items and creatures. It doesn’t say anything about what the Abyss is. There is no lore about what the hell is going on here. Why is there an upside down forest, who made it, for what purpose, why is there still sunlight miles below the surface? You don’t know; it’s just a cool looking scenery. There is no history or logic, and the people exploring it are just looking for artifacts as if they are easter eggs instead of a historical puzzle they are trying to solve.

There are not even any traditions or folklore regarding the explorers and how they are living around the abyss. The hole has nothing to do with them. They just moved there to essentially pillage the place for money, and have nothing to say about their civilization or the culture they are currently tomb raiding. So basically, despite the setting being a very deep hole, there is absolutely no immersion. It’s vapid air, nothing is fleshed out.

Going back to Rico, she is so bad at exploring, to the point she would have died a dozen times without Reg and his “kill everything” beam. You can’t even call Reg a character, since his only motivation is saving Rico because … fuck he knows. He has no motivation; he just appears out of nowhere and becomes her pet. He is literally a walking plot convenience, since he can one-shot any monster, jump around long distances, and never gets damaged because he’s indestructible. He’s just there to debuff an otherwise impossible journey.

And yes, there are cases when can’t overcome a challenge but even then there is an unbelievable amount of plot armor. There’s this crazy explorer who overpowers them, and just about when she is ready to kill them, she goes “trololol, I was just kidding, I never wanted to kill you.” There is another scene Rico gets poisoned and out of nowhere someone appears to save her. It’s all fake suspense, since every time they are in danger, everything is instantly resolved in a lazy way.

It doesn’t help how every character is a plot device, existing either for infodumps or plot armor. Everything they say or do is happening in a forced and artificial way since it happens exactly when it needs to happen. Even the freaking curse of the abyss is a plot device, existing for preventing the characters from moving too fast, instead of having an in-series excuse for being part of the setting.

That is also why every scene with injury and suffering is torture porn, since it’s forcefully happening for the sadistic pleasure of the viewer and is then quickly taken away so the plot can go on like nothing happened. Speaking of viewer pleasure, the characters are shamed by constant sexual teasing and low brow erotic jokes. It doesn’t add anything to their personalities besides fueling fan fiction and deviant doujins.

Even if you filter out the deviance, Rico and Reg are completely basic personalities, and are only defined by a couple of vague features. There is nothing memorable about them compared to the things they experience, effectively falling victims of the curse. Not the one of the abyss, but rather the one of shock factor, where the viewer cares about the horrible experience, instead of the character experiencing it.

The best character ends up being not in the main ones, since it’s the fluffy bunny, for being the only one with a backdrop story and a lot of knowledge to survive with practical skills instead of deus ex machina bullshit. Unfortunately, she is introduced late in the show and most of her appeal is furry fan service, and even more misery porn by being a victimized cute girl.

And that’s why Made in Abyss is nowhere as good as many make it seem. Even Mahoujin Guruguru, a show airing at the same time, does everything better.
