   Dama de Honor o mejor conocida como Quiero robarme a la Novia, es una de esas películas que puedo ver una y otra vez, solo por que me encanta el protagonista.

   Y es que Patrick Dempsey me gusta desde la serie Grey's Anatomy su forma de ser y papel que interpretó, me enamoró. Tranquilo y al mismo tiempo con una súper sonrisa, entre coqueta y tierna ¡uy, que mi esposo no lea esto! Jajajaja.

   En fin, a lo que vinimos, esta es una de esas historia que pasa en las películas y en la vida real, pero quizás en la vida real, no tenga el mismo final.

   Maid of Honour or better known as I Want to Steal My Bride, is one of those movies that I can watch over and over again, just because I love the main character.

   I've loved Patrick Dempsey since Grey's Anatomy, his way of being and the role he played, made me fall in love with him. Calm and at the same time with a super smile, between flirtatious and tender, oh, don't let my husband read this! hahahaha.

   Anyway, what we came to, this is one of those stories that happens in the movies and in real life, but maybe in real life, it doesn't have the same ending.

   Soy de las personas que opina que una mujer si puede tener amigos hombres y solo ser eso, amigos. El 90% de mis amistades y mejores amigos han sido hombre y no señores, no me han gustado, no he sentido atracción por ellos.

   A los amigos, y así como en esta comedia romántica, uno les conoce todo: sus novias, amorios, pasa tiempos y defectos, pero aún así los aceptamos. Sin embargo existe la pequeña y no tan menos probable posibilidad de que alguno termine enamorado del otro. Eso es algo que tampoco voy a negar.

   Es así como Tom, un galán soltero, termina enamorado de su mejor amiga Hannah, pero lamentablemente se da cuenta muy tarde. A veces las personas somos tan orgullosas que hasta nos negamos la posibilidad de amar y ser amados.

   I am one of those people who believe that a woman can have male friends and be just that, friends. 90% of my friends and best friends have been men, and no, gentlemen, I have not liked them, I have not felt attraction for them.

   As in this romantic comedy, we know everything about our friends: their girlfriends, love affairs, past times and defects, but we still accept them.    Existen personas que les cuesta aceptar sus emociones y sentimientos pero más aún decirlos y por orgullo pierden al amor de su vida, he conocido personas así. Sin embargo Tom, a pesar de pasar por momentos incómodos no se dará por vencido tan fácilmente.

   Hannah, interpretada por la actriz Michelle Monaghan, se cansó así como muchas, de esperar algo de él y en realidad nunca lo esperó ya que este era un mujeriego y ella conocía sus aventuras, por lo cual y luego de unas vacaciones, decide aceptar formar su vida junto a otra persona.

   There are people who find it hard to accept their emotions and feelings but even harder to say them and because of pride they lose the love of their life, I have known people like that. However, Tom, despite going through some uncomfortable moments, will not give up so easily.

   Tom, no solo le toca aceptar que se ha dado cuenta de sus sentimientos tarde, si no que además debe ser La Dama de Honor en la boda de su mejor amiga. Enfrentarse a un grupo de damas que son bastante molestas jaja y no saber nada al respecto de bodas.

   Ser la dama de honor le da algunas ventajas, entre ellas estar más cerca de la novia y así intentar robarsela, la pregunta sería si al final logra o no hacerlo. Imagina tener que ayudar al amor de tu vida a escoger la ropa sexy que usará en su noche de bodas, nada fácil ¿verdad?.

   Being the maid of honour gives you some advantages, among them being closer to the bride and trying to steal her away, the question is whether or not you manage to do it in the end. Imagine having to help the love of your life choose the sexy clothes she will wear on her wedding night, it's not easy is it?

   He pensado por mucho tiempo, que este actor tiene un carácter suave, que quizás sus personajes llevan parte de su personalidad en la vida real. Ya que también lo vi actuar en Encantada y aunque es una película medio tonta por que cantan y canta y parece más musical jajaja, el hace que yo la vea y se me pegue la canción de: ¿cómo sabras que la amas, si no le muestras cariño...? que es simplemente difícil de sacar de la cabeza y dejar de cantarla.

   En la única película que me cayó mal fue en Transformes :El lado oscuro de la Luna", donde interpreta a uno de los malos de la historia y es un verdadero patán.

   En fin, no esperen estar a punto de perder a alguien que aman para luego tratar de robar su amor, puede que sea muy tarde, ¿cómo sabras si serás correspondido si no te arriesgas? Y no crean en eso de que "amigo el ratón del queso", si puede haber amistad entre un hombre y una mujer, sin que haya algo más que eso.

   I've thought for a long time that this actor has a soft character, that maybe his characters carry part of his personality in real life. Since I also saw him act in Enchanted and although it's a silly movie because they sing and he sings and it seems more musical hahaha, he makes me watch it and the song of: how will you know that you love her, if you don't show her love... that is just hard to get out of my head and stop singing it.

   The only movie I didn't like him in was Transformers: The Dark Side of the Moon, where he plays one of the bad guys in the story and he's a real jerk.

   Anyway, don't wait to be about to lose someone you love and then try to steal their love, it might be too late, how will you know if you will be reciprocated if you don't take the risk? And don't believe that "cheese mouse friend", there can be friendship between a man and a woman, without there being more to it than that.

   Hola hive, hoy quiero hablarles sobre Made Of Honor (quiero robarme a la novia en Latinoamérica), es de esas películas que cada vez que tengo posibilidad la veo porque me divierte y me relaja bastante.

   Esta película nos muestra a Tom, un mujeriego que odia el compromiso y Hannah su mejor amiga, quien está en la buenas y en las malas con Tom. En un viaje de Hannah a Escocía conoce a Colín, un duque que le propuso matrimonio a Hannah, ella vuelve comprometida y le pide a Tom que sea su dama de honor, Pero Tom ya se dio cuenta que realmente está enamorado de Hannah, por lo que va a hacer todo lo posible para recuperarla.

   This film shows us Tom, a womanizer who hates commitment and Hannah his best friend, who is in good times and in bad with Tom. On a trip from Hannah to Scotland she meets Colin, a duke who proposed to Hannah, she becomes engaged and asks Tom to be her made of honor, but Tom already realized that he really is in love with Hannah, so that he will do whatever he can to get her back.

   Made Of Honor es una película bastante divertida además de que siento que puede ser una situación bastante común, obviamente exagerando todo, pero la gente se puede sentir identificada si vivió una situación similar, pero que la historia sea contada en tono de comedia es espectacular, y podemos empatizar 100%.

   Made Of Honor is a pretty funny movie and I feel like it can be a fairly common situation, obviously exaggerating everything, but people can feel identified if they experienced a similar situation, but that the story is told in a comedy tone is spectacular, and we can empathize 100%.

   No es una película que hay que analizar de una manera súper técnica ni nada por el estilo, es simplemente una buena Romcom, es de esas películas que se pueden poner cualquier día y se disfruta, son de esas películas perfectas para reproducir de Fondo.

   It is not a film that must be analyzed in a super technical way or anything like that, it is simply a good Romcom, it is one of those films that can be played any day and is enjoyed, they are the perfect films to play in the background.

   Una película con más limitaciones que virtudes, que cuenta con actores muy buenos carismáticos, con algunos momentos cómicos y varios clichés, que cumplen para distraerte por una hora y media.

   Muy previsible por momentos, típico de las comedias románticas, que además cuenta con una traducción al español patética, por esto si quieres verla, solo la recomendaría en su audio original.

   La historia es muy sencilla y llena de clichés, cuando pasan los primeros 5 minutos de la película ya sabes cómo va a terminar.

   The story is very simple and full of clichés, when the first 5 minutes of the film pass you know how it will end.

   Todo comienza muy lento, pero a medida que avanza la película, mejora el ritmo y empezamos a ver más momentos cómicos, pero tampoco son para morirte de la risa, incluso algunos chistes no me dieron risa.

   It all starts very slow, but as the movie progresses, the pace improves and we start to see more comic moments, but they are not to die of laughter, even some jokes did not make me laugh.

   La parte romántica no me pareció que funcionará del todo, hubieron partes que no me gustaron mucho, inclusive me parecieron aburridas, pero tal vez sea más porque soy hombre.

   Otra cosa que no funcionó para mí es que es demasiado surrealista. Entiendo que el sueño de muchas mujeres puede ser conseguir una pareja de en sueño y todo eso, pero muchas cosas no tienen cabida en la vida real.

   Another thing that didn't work for me is that it's too surreal. I understand that the dream of many women may be to get a dream partner and all that, but many things have no place in real life.

   Pero lo peor de todo, más que la historia y más que todo el cliché o la cursilería o lo que no te haya gustado, tengo que decir que fue la traducción. De verdad que fue patética, no se porque siempre a los británicos los reflejan como si no supieran hablar o como si tuviera un problema. Si quieres verla tiene que ser en inglés para no quererte matar, lo digo en serio.

   But worst of all, more than the story and more than all the cliché or the kitsch or what you didn't like, I have to say it was the translation. It was really pathetic, I don't know why the British are always reflected as if they can't speak or as if they had a problem. If you want to see it, it has to be in English so as not to want to kill you, I mean it.
