  1. Mission: Imposible - Fallout. The best of the franchise?@richardalexis384d

This is one of those films that seems more concerned with the viewer enjoying its brilliant action sequences than with understanding its own plot. And, far from seeing this as a negative, I think this is precisely what elevates the Mission: Impossible franchise as one of the best exponents of blockbuster cinema in recent decades, and this is perfectly represented by "Fallout," the film released in 2018 under the direction of Christopher McQuarrie.

Considering that Dead Reckoning has just been released (thus closing out the Mission: Impossible film series), I don't think there's a better time to revisit Ethan Hunt's adventures than now, and Fallout is a pretty solid starting point.

But what makes it such a good film? In short, it's a combination of several hits, starting with Tom Cruise's brilliant performance alongside an excellent Henry Cavill in the antagonist role (something I feel I should try more often, by the way), as well as the presence of several of the most iconic and daring action sequences in the entire franchise, all while flowing with a solid script that, without any major pretensions, knows how to find excuses to organically place our protagonists in complicated situations.

All of this, combined with a conservative but quite powerful use of IMAX cameras, results in a brilliant iteration within the franchise, which takes its most characteristic elements and elevates them to another level, creating an exciting, fun story that will captivate us from beginning to end, even if it's not always clear what's happening on screen. I wouldn't call its plot complicated; in fact, I think it's quite the opposite. The point is that it's easy to get lost in the brilliant direction and artistic nature of each of its sequences, letting style shine over substance—not because there isn't any substance, but because the execution of that style is simply masterful.

I'm very happy to see that a film series like this has managed to maintain its relevance over several decades. Ultimately, it represents a paradigm shift within the current blockbuster landscape, proving that action in its most primitive and realistic form can often rise above CGI and the tedious intellectual properties that are being milked to the bone in cinematic universes.

Hello friends, I'm here with another interesting movie titled Mission: Impossible — Fallout and I would like to share with you.

The movie is about A group of terrorists plans to detonate three plutonium cores for a simultaneous nuclear attack on different cities. Ethan Hunt, along with his IMF team, sets out to stop the carnage.

It begins Two years after Solomon Lane's capture, the remnants of the Syndicate have reorganized as a terrorist group known as the Apostles, having adopted a 'terror for hire' policy.

They are hired by an extremist known as John Lark and are attempting to acquire three stolen plutonium cores for him to use in three nuclear bombs.

IMF Agent Ethan Hunt is assigned to recover the plutonium. During a mission in Berlin, the Apostles take fellow teammate Luther Stickell hostage.

Ethan chooses to save Luther, allowing the Apostles to steal the cores.

The IMF team later captures Norwegian nuclear weapons expert Nils Delbruuk, whom the CIA believes is building nuclear weapons for Lark.

Meanwhile, using a fake broadcast of teammate Benji Dunn posing as CNN's Wolf Blitzer and announcing the bombings of Rome, Jerusalem and Mecca, they trick Delbruuk into unlocking a phone he used to communicate with Lark.

Furious at the IMF's failure to secure the plutonium, CIA Director Erika Sloane instructs Special Activities Division Agent August Walker to accompany Ethan on a mission to retrieve it.

Ethan and Walker infiltrate a Paris nightclub where Lark is supposed to purchase the plutonium from the Apostles, with arms dealer Alanna Mitsopolis acting as a broker.

They track a man they suspect to be Lark, but after an intense fight in the men's restroom, he is killed by MI6 agent Ilsa Faust.

Ethan assumes the identity of Lark and meets with Mitsopolis, but the meeting is cut short when hitmen attack the meeting.

In exchange for the plutonium, Mitsopolis tasks Ethan with extracting Lane from an armored convoy moving through Paris, and provides one of the cores as a down payment.

Ethan and Walker preemptively attack the convoy to prevent Mitsopolis' brother Zola and their men from killing local police.

They lead the police, Mitsopolis's men, and Faust on a chase while Benji and Luther secure Lane. Mitsopolis then instructs Ethan to deliver Lane to London.

At a London safe house, IMF Secretary Hunley tells Ethan that he has received doctored evidence implicating Ethan as Lark.

The team tricks Walker into admitting he is the real Lark and informs Sloane, who sends a CIA SAD unit to take everyone into custody.

However, the unit has been infiltrated by the Apostles and is under Walker's command.

Walker kills Hunley, and Ethan pursues him to Tate Modern, where Walker threatens to harm Ethan's ex-wife, before escaping by helicopter.

The team, along with Ilsa, tracks Lane and Walker to a medical camp over the Siachen Glacier.

Lisa deduces that Lane is planning to detonate the nuclear bombs at the medical camp, contaminating the water supply of India, Pakistan, and China, resulting in the destruction of 1/3 of the world's population.

The bombs are linked by a failsafe; any attempt to defuse one bomb without also disarming the detonator will trigger the other.

Ethan discovers that Julia and her new husband are working at the camp.

Find out what happened next as Ethan discovers that Julia and her new husband are working at the camp as the movie gets interesting.

Hello friends, I'm here with another interesting movie titled Mission impossible ll and I would like to share with you.

The movie is about Ethan Hunt, an IMF agent, has been sent on a mission to retrieve and destroy a genetically created disease called chimera. He has to compete with a terrorist gang before they infect the whole world.

It begins when Dr. Vladimir Nekhorvich, a bio-genetics scientist, sends a message to the IMF for Dimitri (Ethan Hunt's cover name), his old friend.

He warns that his employer, Biocyte Pharmaceuticals, forced him to develop a biological weapon to profit from the cure.

He injects himself with the Chimera virus and carries its remedy Bellerophon in a bag.

However, IMF agent Sean Ambrose, who was disguised as Dimitri, goes rogue, betrays Nekhorvich, and steals Bellerophon.

IMF director Swanbeck informs Ethan about Ambrose's actions and tasks him with recovering the virus and its cure.

He has him recruit Nyah Nor doff-Hall, a professional thief and Ambrose's ex-girlfriend.

Despite her initial reluctance, Ethan gets her to trace Ambrose to Sydney, where Biocyte laboratories are located; this is achieved by her wearing an injectable tracking device.

Ethan assembles his team, old friend and computer hacker Luther Stickell and helicopter pilot Billy Baird, and heads to Sydney while Nyah pretends to rekindle her relationship with Ambrose.

Ambrose meets with Biocyte’s CEO John McCloy, and shows him a video of Chimera infecting one of Nekhorvich's colleagues, before blackmailing McCloy into cooperating with him.

Nyah steals the memory card containing the video and delivers it to Ethan.

They learn that Chimera has a 20-hour dormant period, and Bellerophon is only effective if used within that window.

When Nyah returns the memory card to Ambrose, she places it in the wrong pocket of his jacket.

Ethan's team kidnaps McCloy and learns that the only Bellerophon samples were taken by Nekhorvich and are in Ambrose's hands.

However, Ambrose does not have the virus, which Nekhorvich injected himself with.

Ethan prepares to break into Biocyte headquarters to destroy the virus samples, but Ambrose, posing as Ethan via disguise, tricks Nyah into revealing their plan.

Ethan destroys all but one sample of Chimera before Ambrose's team engages him in a firefight.

At a stalemate, Ambrose orders Nyah to retrieve the virus, but she injects herself with it instead and begs Ethan to kill her to destroy the virus.

Ethan refuses and flees the facility, promising to get her the cure.

Find out what happened next as he refuses and flees the facility, promising to get her the cure as the movie gets interesting.

  4. Mission Impossible: Fallout - Much better than I expected@gooddream2181d

Despite their predictable nature and pretty stock-standard story-lines, I have to admit that the Mission Impossible movies always kind of appealed to me. This was especially true with MI2 where Philip Seymour Hoffman became my favorite villain of all time briefly. Following that, and especially with the addition of Simon Pegg and his dumb comedic interludes that I don't think did the franchise any favors, I lost interest in the MI movies altogether.

The other day, in lieu of anything better to do, I decided to give the latest MI movie a go anyway and I liked it a lot more than I thought i was going to and feel as though they started to return to their semi-dark roots, which is a good thing.

    [source](https://h-m-entertainment.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/12/mission-impossible-fallout-poster.jpg)

The film starts out in the usual fashion, with Ethan Hunt receiving directions in the "if you choose to accept it" type way in some secluded location. He then gathers his team to go after some horribly nefarious characters who are dead set on global destruction (again.)

I suppose the story isn't really important because that isn't what makes these films good; we all know that the Hunt and the MI crew are going to emerge victorious and it is just a question of how.

    5b476152f2052938008b468b.jpg source

What potentially make the MI films entertaining is the tension and the crazy situations that Ethan finds himself in and the brilliant manner in which they film it to make it look so real. Tom does actually do a lot of his own stunts and part of the fun is trying to figure out which ones he did himself and which ones are a body double. Seriously, it is hard to tell and this is true even for the high speed motorcycle chases.

Simon Pegg and presumably the writers kept his dumb comedic interludes at a minimum and Ving Rhames and his ever-increasing-in-size head didn't get involved in much of the action either - which is good in my mind (sorry Ving).

I did enjoy the addition of CIA agent, August Walker (Henry Cavill) to the crew and his participation in some of the fight scenes was really top drawer. What's funny about his inclusion in the film is that even though he is only 6 foot 1, he makes Tom look short (because Cruise IS short) the few times that they appear side by side. I can't say for certain but I believe that Tom will normally not be in scenes with people much taller than he is unless they use creative camera angles to conceal the fact that he is only 5 foot 8. I think 5 foot 8 is probably really close to average male height anyway, but certainly not the height of a person that a viewer would consider an intimidating action star.

This is why all of the members of his team are chosen this way in all the MI movies, very rarely are they, or any of the baddies, over 6 feet tall: Case in point is Ving Rhames, who despite being wide and muscular, is only 5 foot 11.

    0c713f4c3becaa837838163ff9694817.jpg source

One of the wildest action sequences happens at the very beginning in a situation where the team needs to skydive from a height where oxygen is necessary. This is NOT CGI, and cruise and a film crew jumped from a military airplane 106 times over the course of a year in order to get the footage necessary. I think this might be part of the reason why the budget was nearly $200 million.

    From the official [Paramount](https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCF9imwPMSGz4Vq1NiTWCC7g) channel

The film nearly pulled in $800 million at the global box office and I think this can pretty much assure that there will be a 7th film. Their return to a less whimsical story and some pretty dark overtones is a welcome on in my mind, because when Pegg (who i still do not like in the cast) was added, I thought that the entire Mission Impossible series of films was on it's way out.

Fallout might be the best one out of all of them in terms of action and is definitely worth watching. I would say that it is one of the best action films of the past couple of years.

    My overall rating! 8.5 / 10

  5. Mission: Impossible - Fallout (Film): Review.@martinmcfly2741d

52 years ago, in 1966, Bruce Geller created Mission: Impossible, a successful television series that featured 7 seasons and 171 fifty minute episodes, reaching its final in 1973. 23 years after the series ended and 30 years after its premiere, in 1996, directed by Brian De Palma and starring Tom Cruise, a movie with the same name and based on that mythical series was released. The film was a success, which is why successive sequels were made, all starring Tom Cruise, and with different directors, such as John Woo, J. J. Abrams, Brad Bird, and finally, Christopher McQuarrie, who was in charge of directing the last two, including the most recent Mission: Impossible - Fallout, released this year and of which I will speak today.

    Plot

Once again, Ethan accepts a mission, but he does not succeed, and the plutonium that he was supposed to recover has fallen into the hands of the Apostles, a terrorist organization. Now, Ethan and his team must do everything possible, and impossible, to recover the plutonium before the consequences are irreversible.

    Opinion

As always the story begins when Ethan Hunt, IMF agent, receives a package, this time camouflaged as the Homer's Odyssey book, which contains a projector. The mission, should he choose to accept it,, is to meet with illegal traders from Eastern Europe to buy three plutonium cores, however, things do not turn out as planned when the Apostles, a terrorist organization made up of former members of the Syndicate, interfere, causing Ethan to neglect plutonium in order to save his colleague Luther Stickell. Ethan's failure causes the CIA to order August Walker, an Special Activities Division agent, to join Ethan's team to recover the plutonium. From that moment begins the development of an explosive plot of espionage and action to which the franchise has accustomed us.

I've heard some say this is the best movie of the serie, although I would not agree, in fact, I think that for me the best is still the third one in which Philip Seymour Hoffman participates, however, I consider that the current one surpasses its immediate predecessors, mainly because on this occasion a set of totally magnificent action scenes are shown, the chase across Paris with the camera filming everything at ground level it is simply sublime, of the best chase sequences I have seen in my life, not to mention the sequence in helicopters and the fact that the serie has surpassed itself as far as the fight choreography, the fight in the bathroom was really excellent.

I'm generally not a fan of the genre and it's mainly because I can never understand wtfh happens in the action scenes, some shoot around here, others shoot over there, somehow my mind gets disconnected when everyone starts killing each other, however, there is a small number of action films that meticulously take care of the staging of this type of sequences, making it not only understandable what appears on the screen but also attractive to the viewer, and the Mission Impossible is one of those that always gets it.

The performances are very good, starting with Tom Cruise of course playing the mythical Ethan Hunt, this actor as the years go by is encouraged to try increasingly dangerous action scenes, he is more active in this film than in any of the previous ones, he has really outdone himself especially considering that he is approaching 60 years old, a sign that he is aging at a rate well below the average and I do not mean his appearance, but the amazing performance he has when filming physically demanding scenes. Another one of the performances that we can find is the one of Ving Rhames like the also mythical Luther Stickell, which although in the fourth film only appeared for a moment, is the only character that can presume to have appeared in each of the movies, obviously excluding Ethan, although this time I notice him more lazy than ever.

Henry Cavill makes his appearance in the franchise and I must say that he has done very well, his character is the counterweight of the Cruise's character, and his performance as August Walker is really very good, perfectly meets the action scenes. The other team member is Simon Pegg who until now had been performing as a humorous element, although he has taken a more protagonistic role than in his previous participations, but I must say that on this occasion I feel that he is less charismatic, even so, he has his moment of glory in a scene of the film, in which I must say, I do not know very well what happened.

On the female side Rebecca Ferguson is presented, although she is not the only woman in the film, is the most important, also this character is perfect for her, in fact, just seeing that she participates in two films of the franchise already says a lot about her performance, because one of the distinctive things of the serie, as with James Bond, has been changing the feminine counterpart of Ethan in each chance. However, our protagonist and the plot reach a point where it is no longer convenient to introduce new characters because this film could be seen as a direct continuation of what happened in the previous, and for these circumstances the participation of Ferguson not only would be very good but it is ideal.

The other performances are from good to regular, the participation of Vanessa Kirby is appreciated, is the most outstanding of the secondary, since both Michelle Monaghan and Angela Bassett do nothing remarkable. As for Sean Harris, his action scenes are applauded, the rest not long ago, although the script does not allow too much, there are many actors and all have to appear on screen. Finally, the weakest of all is Alec Baldwin, seriously, what is he doing here? he was supposed to act one of the most dramatic scenes, but it has pass as one more.

Finally I must say that the movie is pure entertainment, almost two and a half hours that pass in blink, however, there are some flaws that in my opinion presents the plot and that I should mention, although to do so is I may unintentionally mention some spoilers, so it's better that if you have not seen the movie yet, stop here, and skip the spoiler.

    Spoiler alert

My main problem with the script, is that apparently the writers are obsessed with the participation of Michelle Monaghan in the series, when his character does not contribute anything, more than supposedly tries to justify the reason why Ethan is still an agent of the MFI, but this could be suggested in many other ways, in fact, the story does not need that background, it just does not make sense, and in fact, it seems quite artificial to me the way in which she was included in the film. On the other hand, I must criticize the fact that at the beginning of the film Ethan only had two teammates, when historically the team was always composed of Ethan and at least three colleagues. Had they had one more member it is possible they would not have lost the plutonium in the first place, especially considering that the characters played by Ving Rhames and Simon Pegg are really hackers, not agents trained in combat, I suppose the writers preferred not to introduce another member to the team knowing that later that place would be occupied by Cavill and then by Ferguson, but that is not consistent with what was shown throughout the serie.

    ...

Well, I must conclude by saying that the Mission Impossible serie is now closed, even so I think it would be great to see one last movie, and I think Cruise is working on it, as long as it's just as entertaining as this was, I sure will not miss it.

    8/10

Very entertaining movie with very well done action scenes, a perfect product to spend a couple of hours.

  6. Առաքելությունը անհնար. Հետեւանքները (Mission: Impossible - Fallout, 2018)@panza2774d

«Առաքելությունն անհնարին» մեկն է այն հիմնական լրտես արկածային շարքի հետ միասին Ջեյմս Բոնդի եւ (հենց նոր նկատեցի, թե ինչպես նմանատիպ անուններ), բայց միշտ կանգնած մի փոքր դեպի կողմը, իրենց ավելի ծանրքաշային թեկնածուներից.

  7. A Geeky Guy’s Movie Guide to Mission: Impossible - Fallout (2018)@hanshotfirst2878d

During the nearly two and a half hour run time of Mission: Impossible - Fallout, not a single person in the crowded theater ever left their seat to use the restroom. Although it was not the most original or greatest movie I have ever seen, it simply flew by. No one in attendance was ever bored enough to notice their gradually filling bladders.

*The impossible mission... make a geeky guy with a thimble-sized bladder forget he needs to go to the restroom.*

Sorry to be so gross, but that is honestly the best way I can sum up this experience. The movie was so entertaining that no one wanted to miss a single moment of it. Is the film very original? Will it make you think? Is the acting sensational?

Nope... but that is not why you go to see a Mission: Impossible movie.

You go to see shit blow up real good!

... and to watch Tom Cruise get hit by a car.

I think I have seen all of the Mission: Impossible movies since the cinematic reboot began in 1996.

The fact that I can not quite remember could simply be yet another indication that I am getting old. Although that may indeed be the case, this lack of recollection is probably more of an indication that, although I am usually entertained by the Mission: Impossible series, aside from a few iconic scenes (like Tom Cruise dangling precariously above laser sensors) they simply aren't that memorable. The movies are merely vehicles for action sequences and unbelievable stunts.

Mission: Impossible - Fallout is no exception. During its 140 minute run time, there were very few moments when I was not being entertained by the visuals or sound. In addition to the typical mountain climbing stunts, there were a plethora of chase scenes. Let's see if I can remember all of the ways people chased each other:

    • On foot
    • Motorcycle vs car
    • Motorcycle vs motorcycle
    • Cars
    • Helicopters
    • Mountain climbing

Normally, I am not a big fan of chase scenes (unless they are in Baby Driver). I always know how they will end so I think they are usually a waste of my time. However, the creators of Mission: Impossible - Fallout managed to entertain me with most of the chases.

When the characters finally caught each other, there are well choreographed hand-to-hand battles as well as shoot outs. Although I am not a huge Tom Cruise fan (the dude is weird) he still manages to hold his own while performing his own stunts. Wait. That is not accurate. At age 56, Cruise is still one of the best when it comes to performing his own realistic stunts.

By far the best thing about this movie are the visuals and the sound. I was very happy I chose to spend the extra $5 to see this movie in a Dolby Cinema. If you are planning to see this movie, I highly recommend seeing it on the biggest screen with the best sound possible. I do not think this is intended to be Netflixed on your laptop.

Why would it be a waste to watch on a small screen?

I think movies that rely more heavily on plot rather than action can be enjoyed anywhere. Mission: Impossible - Fallout is not one of those movies. The plot is incredibly unrealistic, full of holes, and quite unoriginal. If you have seen just about any season of the television show 24 then you have seen this exact plot. In fact, I was waiting for Ethan Hunt and Jack Bauer to literally run into each other during one of the many chase sequences.

Don't believe me? Well let me sum up the entire plot in one sentence:

Secret agents need to retrieve stolen plutonium before it can be used to make nuclear weapons.

*Get out of here Jack! Go find your own plutonium. This is Ethan's!*

    But honestly, who cares?

No one in the theater was there for the plot. They were there to see shit blow up real good!

And blow up real good it did!

Aside from the nearly non-stop action, my favorite part of this movie was the fact that the writers seemed to understand that the previous movies were not that memorable. As a result, they used a couple of tricks to bring people up to speed and remind them of who some characters were. Because of this, I feel that one could enjoy this movie even if they have never seen any of the previous installments (or simply forgot them all 30 seconds after the credits rolled).

*This was pretty much all I remembered from the previous five movies.*

For example, the movie begins with a dream sequence that reminds us that Ethan, played by Tom Cruise, had a love affair with a fellow agent and that he had recently captured a sinister villain with a really spooky voice. Later, Ving Rhames' character, Luther, reminds us all that Ethan had actually quit the game once and was married to a civilian. It was seriously like I was hearing this information for the first time. Thanks Luther!

Let's keep this really simple. If you are looking to turn off your brain (including the part that tells you that you need to use the restroom) and have a little lot of fun for two and one half hours at the theater, Mission: Impossible - Fallout is the movie for you.

But your mission, if you choose to accept it, is to find the theater near you with the best picture and sound. I promise that it will be worth it.

    Geeky Guy's Movie Guide

Number of times I fell asleep: 0 Number of eye rolls: 0 (I disabled this function of my brain. The entire movie is ridiculous. If I had allowed eye rolls, I would have sprained my eyes!) Number of face palms: 0 (See above.) Number of times I went to the bathroom out of sheer boredom: 0 (Did you read the review? The entire premise is based on the sheer entertainment of this movie overcoming the biological urge to pee.) Number of times I checked steemit: 0 (I forgot I had my phone on me.) Full price/Matinee/Rental/Free/Not worth the time: If you are going to spend the 2 1/2 hours, you need to see this on the big screen.

  8. Mission Impossible Fallout - Movie Review@coldsteem2878d

By the time most films hit their second or third sequel, the original idea has played out. There are notable exceptions, like the Star Wars franchise. Mission Impossible also falls into the exception category. The television inspired film series has consistently delivered high-quality, high-octane fun with intelligent writing and intriguing characters. The latest edition, Mission: Impossible - Fallout does not disappoint.

Ethan Hunt (Tom Cruise) is the double-oh-seven of impossible missions. Literally. He is the star agent of a shadowy organization called the Impossible Mission Force (IMF). The name almost has a Trumpian Space Force ring to it. It is a grand idea borrowed from an era when good old-fashioned television delivered great fun each week. Hunt has a capacity to get himself into tight situations. Impossible situations. Situations so contrived and perfectly timed that any reasonable person would guffaw at the premise. But this is Mission Impossible. It is supposed to be far fetched. So sit back and enjoy the ride.

In Fallout, the IMF team finds itself in a web of intrigue that has it fighting international terrorists, the CIA and Mi6. The team doesn't know who they can trust as they attempt to recover three stolen plutonium cores that are believed to headed to The Apostles, a terrorist organization bent on ushering in a new world order through mass casualties and suffering. Hunt must trust his trustworthy teammates Luther (Ving Rhames) and Benji (Simon Pegg). The trio use a combination of tact, technology, disguise and brute force to see their mission through.

Things couldn't possibly be easy. So we get to throw in the head of the CIA (Angela Bassett), Alan Hunley (Alec Baldwin) a former CIA operative, and a cleaner named August (Henry Cavill) who has a nasty reputation for carrying out the CIA's dirty work. The mission takes a turn when Hunt finds himself required to free his former nemesis, Solomon Lane (Sean Harris). The mission carries the team on a globe-trotting mission to locate and disarm a pair of powerful nuclear devices that have fallen into enemy hands. The mission is complicated when Hunt is framed as a terrorist mole. The mission builds to an impossible crescendo with obligatory action and violence propelling our heroes forward to accomplish the impossible. And save the world...or at least one third of the world.

The thing that sets Mission: Impossible - Fallout apart from other action films is the writing. The plot is intricate in a way that may be a bit contrived, but also manages to be engaging. The film uses a bit of sleight of hand on the audience as part of the storytelling. I like it when a film manages to deliver big action, cutting edge special effects and still delivers an intriguing story. Yes, it is typical save the world fare. But it has substance. As convoluted and over-the-top as the writing is, the story manages to be engaging. It is heart-pulsing fun with a touch of mental stimulation thrown in for good measure. The story has great pacing and a strong narrative arc leading to a spectacular conclusion. The apex of the film takes a bit long to develop and then feels slow to wrap up, but the ride getting there was a blast.

Tom Cruise may be an old man (mid-fifties), but he still has it. Twenty-two years and five films later, Cruise still manages to do his own stunts in the sixth installment in this franchise. Seriously? That is impressive. I know that Cruise has the money to get hair implants or have other work done, but he really does look good for his age. But the fact that he does his own stunts is the part that blows me away. These are not small stunts. Cruise is impressive. I have long been a fan of Simon Pegg (particularly his spoof films), and thoroughly enjoy him in the Impossible films. This one is no exception. Ving Rhames, Henry Cavill and Rebecca Ferguson round out a core group of actors that bring this film to life. A great cast. I am glad to see that so many came back for another crack at the franchise.

Mission: Impossible - Fallout eked out a PG-13 rating from the MPAA. This is an action film that includes some violence, but the gore factor is kept in check. There were several deaths in the film, numerous fight scenes, knife play, gun play and even references to torture. But this film threads the needle, keeping sensitive subject matter in check. The other factors affecting the rating are the intense action sequences and a bit of strong language. Based on what I see in modern television, this film is pretty tame. Most of the rating is action-related. And this is an action film. I wouldn't restrict this film by age. Run time is a massive two hours, 27 minutes. Although it feels shorter than that up until the final fifteen minutes...which begin to feel a little bit drawn out.

While I enjoy intellectually stimulating films or great character studies, there is a warm place in my heart for a good action film as well. Mission: Impossible - Fallout it what other films in this genre should strive to be. Great special effects, interesting characters, seat-gripping action sequences and a plot. Yes, a plot. I have seen too many flat stories propped up by special effects and action. It is nice to see a film with sharp dialogue and an intricate plot. While it may be contrived, it was conceived well. I would highly recommend this film for viewing while it is still in theaters. The big effects are certain to be better on the big screen.

  11. I’m incredibly proud of ‘Mission: Impossible Fallout’: Director@socialnewsxyz2911d

I’m incredibly proud of ‘Mission: Impossible Fallout’: Director

Paris, July 10 (IANS) From a mission gone horribly wrong to racing against time to complete the film after Tom Cruise injured himself while doing a stunt, director Christopher McQuarrie says he is proud of the movie and the team behind the project.

"I just wanted to thank everybody for coming. You are the first audience to see the film. We finished the film five days ago and you are the first audience to watch the film. Tom Cruise saw the finished film last night," McQuarrie told a selected group of journalists present for the international screening of the film here on Monday.

Cruise will return as the roguish spy in the sixth movie of the series with the upcoming "Mission: Impossible Fallout". The Paramount Pictures movie will be exclusively distributed in India by Viacom 18 Motion Pictures. It is set to release in India on July 27 in English, Hindi, Tamil and Telugu.

"There is a fine line that separates the experience of making a 'Mission Impossible' film and experience of watching a "Mission Impossible' film. The line has never been finer....It was a trip around the globe, race against time, against all possible odds, ticking clock to the very last minute-- all of it to pick up the pieces of mission gone horribly wrong," added the director, who seemed to be refereeing the injury that Cruise suffered while performing a stunt.

McQuarrie, who became the first filmmaker ever to return to direct a second 'Mission: Impossible' film, added: "I am incredibly proud of all the amazing hard work that went into making it."

The film also stars Henry Cavill, Ving Rhames, Simon Pegg, Rebecca Ferguson, Sean Harris, Angela Bassett, Vanessa Kirby, Wes Bentley, Frederick Schmidt with Michelle Monaghan and Alec Baldwin.
