Let's start by talking about the title of the film ‘Parasite.’ At first, I thought the film had something to do with a pandemic, zombies, or something like that, but after watching the film, we can understand why it was given that name. Parasite is about a poor family and a rich family whose stories intersect in a particular way. The son of the poor family is helped by his friend to get a job as a substitute English tutor for the daughter of the rich family (the friend of the poor family's son is going to be out of the country). By falsifying documents and using his charisma, Ki-Woo manages to get the job.

From there, Ki-Woo manages to get his sister hired as a worker in the house and then gets the family's driver fired so he can recommend his father. Later, they get rid of the housekeeper so that the mother of the family can take her place without the owners of the house knowing that they know each other, with the intention of taking advantage of the rich family as ‘parasites’. However, things do not end well at all.

I have to say that what stands out most in the film's story is its criticism of South Korea's economic/social polarisation (which has been explored in other series or films such as Boys over Flowers or Squid Game), a cycle that never ends: The rich despise the poor, which generates envy, resentment and hatred among the poor, and often triggers aggression (which has in fact happened in real life and in the film).

The way in which everything is narrated, with a touch of humour at times and such an exaggerated ending (I don't want to give any spoilers), makes it a very well-executed and structured satire. No wonder it won the Oscar for Best Screenplay; it really is incredible. The performances were also quite good and convincing, which helps with the film's air of mystery.

The photography is also quite good, the lighting and shadows are well crafted and the shots are very well done. There are some low-angle shots and other close-ups, especially in the scenes in the poor family's house, to obviously create this feeling of oppression and claustrophobia, in stark contrast to the scenes in the mansion, where the colour palette is light and the shots are wide. The truth is that it is made with great care.

In summary, I highly recommend it. It should be viewed with a critical eye and analysed thoroughly, as it encourages us to examine and delve deeper into the social criticism embedded within it, prompting us to reflect.

Parasite is a 2019 Korean film, and its genre is thriller/comedy. Don't wonder how these two can coexist in the same film; they are combined wonderfully. The film is a little over two hours long, so you might want to choose the weekend to watch it.

From this point on, you may encounter spoilers, but don't worry, I won't share anything detailed enough to prevent you from watching the film. The film begins with a scene in the home of a very poor family. The father has lost his job, the mother isn't working, and neither are the daughter and son. The mother constantly whines and says they need to find money somehow. They live in the basement of a building, and you can see they are truly fed up with this life. They don't even have proper phone reception where they live; they can only connect to the internet at certain points.

Later, the child's friend comes to visit and makes him an offer. His friend is teaching English to the daughter of a wealthy family and is making a lot of money from this job. The reason he makes this offer to his friend is that he likes the girl and is afraid of losing her if someone else teaches her. We can say he trusts his friend. Although the child hesitates at first, he accepts because they really need the money and goes to give lessons. The house he goes to is a truly enormous mansion, and it's very clear that he has never been to such a place before. The family he is teaching is really very naive, and the child gets the job on the first day. After a few lessons, he learns that the girl he is teaching has a younger brother with psychological problems. The child draws strange pictures in a notebook, and an idea comes to the main character. He suggests that he could teach the troubled child by pretending to be a famous painter and someone who understands psychology. The family is so naive that they accept this too and hire him, paying him a huge amount of money.

The cycle continues in this way, and all four members of the poor family start working in the rich family's house. The children tutor the family's children, the mother becomes the family's maid, and the father becomes the family's driver. They start earning a lot of money and begin to dream. Of course, nothing good lasts forever. I won't tell you what happens; you'll have to watch the movie!

When I first heard the name of the movie, I thought it was about a virus, and I started watching it with that in mind, but then I realized it's a dark comedy about a family trying to live off the backs of the rich like parasites. The rich family is portrayed as very naive in the film, but I think the reality is quite the opposite lol. Also, the conflict between the rich and the poor is well-handled. I liked that. Even while both sides respect each other, it shows how a rich person can look down on a poor person.

I really liked the film's script and the acting. Maybe it's because I wasn't expecting much from it that I enjoyed it so much, but I think it's a 9 out of 10 film and everyone should watch it. Its 8.5 out of 10 rating on IMDB is proof of its quality. I think screenplays in the film industry have been repeating themselves in recent years, and Parasite showed me that films with different screenplays still exist.

I wanted to compile a list of Oscar-winning films, to make a list of those that are a must-see in our audiovisual lineup and that you can enjoy watching at your leisure during these rainy days and holidays, but the film below definitely needs a separate and complete mention to convince you that YOU HAVE TO SEE IT!

When I saw the title, it didn't catch my attention because it's not my style to watch bugs, humans being eaten, and a savior coming to help us; and that's not all, in the end, a parasite survives for a second part ☢️.

However, I was into Korean movies and plots, and since it won Oscars in so many categories, as well as other important awards, I decided to watch it.

My experience? WOW! WOW! WOW! The name doesn't do justice to everything that movie encompasses, and I'll tell you my reasons for watching it again after five years, because I feel like its plot will remain relevant as long as the world is the world.

One need only read the Bible, our oldest book, which shows us the eccentricities with which kings lived and the poverty and oppression suffered by the less fortunate. This reality has remained unchanged throughout history, and despite numerous attempts and ways of analyzing the social situation, I have come to the conclusion that the rich will always be rich and the poor will always be poor.

And all this is a product of education, access to basic services, job security, social security; in turn, this is linked to the economy, as the more money you have, the better your access to all of the above. And it seems that governments are responsible for maintaining these inequalities. It is as if it were more profitable to be poor than to help everyone to truly live in equal conditions.

Ki-woo's family is a living example of that poor class that does not know how poor it is, remains poor, and has no idea how to get out of poverty, but wants everything. With that outlook, everything starts off badly. Where does this situation lead you? To doing wrong, being dishonest, taking advantage, looking for the easy way out, or letting someone else solve your problems, and that is not right. It also leads you to limit your talents, knowledge, and opportunities because you remain poor.

All the actions taken by the family are opportunistic, emergency measures, temporary, but they do not take decisive action to escape their state of poverty. Why does it emphasize social class? Because they seek the “miracle” of wealth in the Park family's home, which is the complete opposite of the Kim family, and at any cost, they want to live the life of the rich, but without making the slightest effort to obtain their wealth in an honest, honorable way, with effort and sacrifice, as most upper-class people do.

I think the whole plot is EXCELLENT, because the parasite isn't just the disgusting, bloodsucking, freeloading creature that repulses us. The parasite lives within us when we take advantage of other people, when we behave in ways that suggest we “deserve something without working for it,” when we deceive, lie, or betray others to get something we want. The parasite is the one who tramples on another person in order to obtain a benefit. Parasites live within us and feed every day on handouts, donations, our taxes, and demands for benefits that they do not obtain by working, but by being poor, and we should feel sorry for them.

The most dangerous thing is that the parasite lives with resentment and hatred for what they do not deserve, what they have not fought for, but what they consider and have been led to believe they have as many rights to as someone who has worked and fought for the material goods they can accumulate.

One of the scenes I loved was when Mr. Park is in the living room and describes Mr. Kim's smell. I didn't remember that scene, and I think it was the trigger for all the madness that unfolded at the end and ended in tragedy, because the Kim family was hiding and listening to all the derogatory statements being made about their father. I am totally convinced that Mr. Park was ABSOLUTELY RIGHT and that poverty smells and feels; and I'm not just talking about body odor, but the smell of deprivation and lack that a person with common sense and everything else has.

There are people who are undoubtedly talented and should have a future ahead of them, but the economic system itself does not allow them to advance; likewise, these are not reasons to become a leech and “squeeze” a family that has worked for everything it has.

That is why I believe that we must know and recognize these people so that we do not allow them to destroy us and wipe us out. Furthermore, we must recognize if we are the ones who are behaving like true freeloaders and are not working honestly in accordance with our principles and values in order to obtain a better quality of life.

As for the sets, the band, the acting, the effects, and the ending, I think many pages have already been written about how excellent it is, and the awards confirm this, although I certainly did not see the need for a bloody scene when everything was going so well, but that's how Korean cinema is, and it is respected. Furthermore, this does not detract from the whole plot and the two hours it keeps us entertained.

I think it's a film with a lot to offer, so I invite you to watch it and enjoy it as much as I did.

Greetings Cinetv friends, Parasite is an intriguing film with an original mix of several genres. With small doses of classic film suspense that Alfred Hitchcock himself would applaud. It doesn't fit into any mold, although it makes nods to classic films. It made me forget about photography, analyzing the performances, or other factors, because in each scene it puts you in each sequence and in the possibilities of what can happen. With some images that will stay in my head for a long time. Intimate moments with a lot of meaning, like the physical contact between the family, the aroma, the interaction between the two families. The concept of the oriental honor of gratitude, even if it is at the expense of the leftovers of others, taken to the extreme. At times, it seems like a satire, but it feels so current and close that it becomes uncomfortable (in a good way). I think it is a reflection of the inequality in society in many countries, with which we can identify.

Saludos amigos de Cinetv, Parasito una película intrigante con una original mezcla de varios géneros. Con pequeñas dosis de suspenso de película clásica que el mismo Alfred Hitchcock aplaudiría. No entra en ningún molde, si bien hace guiños a películas clásicas. Me hizo olvidarme de la fotografía, de analizar las actuaciones, u otros factores, porque en cada escena te mete en cada secuencia y en las posibilidades de lo que puede ocurrir. Con algunas imágenes que se van a quedar en mi cabeza por mucho tiempo. Momentos íntimos con mucho significado, como el contacto físico entre la familia, el aroma, la interacción entre las dos familias. El concepto del honor oriental del agradecimiento, aunque sea a expensas de sobras de los demás, llevado al extremo. En momentos parece una sátira, pero se siente tan actual y cercana que llega a incomodar (En el buen sentido). Creo que sí es un reflejo de la desigualdad en la sociedad en muchos países, con la que nos podemos sentir identificados.

In order to earn some money and raise the social status of the family, each member will manage to get hired in the house of the rich Park family, through truth and deception. Little by little, the Kim's will take advantage of the naive Parks, and will live as "parasites" in their luxurious home: "hidden" as workers in the house, but "discovered" when the Parks are not there or do not notice. However, the unexpected return visit of the Park family's former housekeeper will lead to unexpected events, which will trigger a bloody massacre.

The symbolism and the powerful, raw and pessimistic message seem to elevate the film to levels rarely seen in recent years. A bloody social critique in the middle of 2019, awakens a revitalized interest in social hierarchies in our present day. Whether South Korea or any country is developed or not, poverty reaches everyone. A state from which many seek to escape. On the other hand, wealth brings stability, but awakens selfishness in some. A continuous emotional and mental struggle between two different social classes will be the main point of clash in the film.

Bong Joon-ho obtuvo el Óscar a Mejor Director, ratificando su maestría total en su filme. Los simbolismos y el potente mensaje, crudo y pesimista, parecen ensalzar la película a niveles poco vistos en los últimos años. Una sangrienta crítica social en pleno 2019, despierta un revitalizado interés en las jerarquías sociales en nuestra actualidad. Parasite is a film that criticizes the cruelty of society and family imbalances in that environment, it does so from various points of view where some are subtle and others are much more noticeable in the story because it is as if the film hits us with the grotesque reality which generates repulsion but at the same time are momentary reflections of ourselves as viewers, family, society and human beings.

I saw a review in the community that encouraged to see this film and it caught my attention immediately because the striking thing was the murkiness of that image which is basically the promotional image of the film with those censored eyes which you can also see in this post, it is inevitable to associate that abominable strip with something bad like death and as I love death stories I was encouraged to see it on MAX since that is where it is available.

Parasite es un film que critica la crueldad de La Sociedad y Los Desequilibrios Familiares en ese entorno, lo hace desde variados puntos de vista donde algunos son sutiles y otros son mucho mas notables en la historia porque es como si el film nos golpeara con lo grotesco de la realidad lo cual nos genera repulsión pero a la vez son reflejos momentáneos de nosotros mismos como espectadores, familia, sociedad y seres humanos.

Vi una reseña en la comunidad que animaba a ver este film y me llamo la atención de inmediato porque lo llamativo fue lo turbia de esa imagen que es básicamente la promocional del film con esos ojos censurados la cual pueden ver también en este post, es inevitable asociar esa franja abominable con algo malo como la muerte y como me encantan las historias de muerte pues me anime a ver en MAX ya que allí es donde esta disponible.

Hello to all fans of good stories, I hope you are very well today... this time I want to talk about a movie that undoubtedly was a before and after for many people, this is the award-winning film: Parasite. This is a very intense movie that transmits many things... it is a cinematic roller coaster that will probably make some people who have not seen it reflect a lot, from the moment the movie starts you feel very attracted by the world of the Kim family, their struggles and their ingenious plans to improve their life situation... Director Bong Joon-ho has created a masterpiece that defies easy categorization, combining elements of drama, dark humor, thriller, and even horror into a captivating and entertaining narrative... the opening scenes of the film introduce us to the Kim family's crowded apartment also known as “banjiha” a very stark representation of South Korea's socio-economic divide, these apartments are very small spaces.. originally designed as air raid shelters, they have become a symbol of the country's housing crisis, and the ugly struggles faced by its citizens, mainly the low income or working class.
As someone unfamiliar with Korean culture, I found this aspect of the film particularly interesting, and one of the things that impressed me most was its ability to navigate complex social issues in a very realistic way. The director portrays all the harsh realities of poverty in the locals, but also avoids falling into the trap of romanticizing the experiences of the less fortunate, instead presenting a multifaceted exploration of the dynamics of different social classes.. and that made me question my own perceptions.. as normally you think you might be very bad off economically, and it's a reality check to realize that indeed in countries as developed as South Korea there are people who are having a much harder time.

Hola a todos fanáticos de las buenas historias, espero que se encuentren muy bien en el día de hoy.. en esta ocasión quiero hablarles de una película que sin duda fue un antes y un después para muchas personas, se trata de la premiada película: Parasite. Esta es una película muy intensa y que transmite muchas cosas.. es una montaña rusa cinematográfica que probablemente a alguno que no la haya visto lo hará reflexionar mucho, desde el momento en que empieza la película logras sentirte muy atraído por el mundo de la familia Kim, sus luchas y sus ingeniosos planes para mejorar su situación de vida.. El director Bong Joon-ho ha creado una obra maestra que desafía una categorización fácil, combinando elementos de drama, humor negro, thriller e incluso horror en una narrativa cautivadora y entretenida.. las escenas iniciales de la película nos presentan el apartamento abarrotado de la familia Kim.. también conocido como "banjiha" una representación muy cruda de la división socioeconómica de Corea del Sur, estos apartamentos son espacios muy pequeños.. originalmente diseñados como refugios antiaéreos, se han convertido en un símbolo de la crisis de vivienda del país, y las luchas feas que enfrentan sus ciudadanos, principalmente los de bajos recursos o la clase trabajadora.
Como alguien poco familiarizado con la cultura coreana, encontré este aspecto de la película particularmente interesante, y una de las cosas que más me impresionaron fue esa capacidad para navegar por complejos problemas sociales de una manera muy realista.. El director retrata toda la dura realidad de la pobreza en los habitantes, pero también evita caer en la trampa de romanizar las experiencias de los menos afortunados, en su lugar presenta una exploración multifacética de las dinámicas de las distintas clases sociales.. y eso me hizo cuestionar mis propias percepciones.. ya que normalmente uno cree que puede estar muy mal económicamente, y es un golpe de realidad el darte cuenta de que efectivamente en países tan desarrollados como Corea del Sur hay personas que la están pasando mucho peor.

I found the pacing of the film to be impeccable, starting with a somewhat light tone, as we see the protagonist family infiltrate the home of the Park family, who are a much wealthier family... the humor in these early scenes is very funny, although there is always a certain tension that keeps you on your toes as to what is going to happen.... As the story progresses, this tension increases, and the changes in tone become more pronounced and extremely disturbing, one of Parasite's greatest strengths is its ability to surprise you, this is something that I really like... just when I thought the story would take a certain direction, it surprised me with a shocking twist, I think some of these moments are executed with a lot of genius... they don't feel silly or random, on the contrary they serve to deepen the narrative much more, and it's nice that the movie itself makes you reconsider everything you've understood and seen up to that point.
As for the performances, they are very good, each actor brings depth and nuance to their role.. from the father of the Kim family, he constantly conveys to you a complex mix of emotions ranging from despair to pride, among others.. and the other members of the Park family are very complex, they are not simple rich and stupid people.. when we see their lack of awareness about the showers of the less fortunate, it is not portrayed with malice, but as a kind of different world view.. An entrenched view that is very frustrating, but mostly painfully believable, as it's not that they are trying to be bad, they just live in a bubble and it's hard to get them out of it.... Visually, this film is very well made, the contrast between the Kim's small cluttered apartments and the Park's spacious modern home is striking, the director uses these settings very well to convey things and all the cinematography is beautiful, there are carefully composed shots that are incredible and often carry a certain symbolic weight.

El ritmo de la película me pareció impecable, comenzando con un tono algo ligero, mientras vemos a la familia protagonista infiltrarse en el hogar de los Park, que son una familia mucho más adinerada.. el humor en estas primeras escenas es muy gracioso, aunque siempre hay cierta tensión que te mantiene atento a lo que va a pasar.. A medida que va avanzando la historia, esta tensión va en aumento, y los cambios de tono se vuelven más pronunciados y sumamente inquietantes, una de las mayores fortalezas de Parasite es su capacidad para sorprenderte, esto es algo que a mí me gusta mucho.. justo cuando creía que la historia tomaría cierto rumbo, me sorprendió con un giro impactante, creo que algunos de estos momentos se ejecutan con mucha genialidad.. no se sienten bobos ni aleatorios, sino que al contrario sirven para profundizar mucho más en la narrativa, y es bueno que la misma película te haga reconsiderar todo lo que has entendido y visto hasta ese momento.
En cuanto a las actuaciones, son muy buenas, cada actor aporta profundidad y matices a su papel.. desde el padre de la familia Kim, constantemente te transmite una mezcla compleja de emociones que van desde la desesperación hasta el orgullo, entre otras.. y los demás integrantes de la familia Park son muy complejos, no son simples personas ricas y estúpidas.. cuando vemos su falta de conciencia sobre las duchas de los menos afortunados, no se representa con malicia, sino como una especie de visión del mundo diferente.. Una visión arraigada que es muy frustrante, pero sobre todo dolorosamente creíble, ya que no es que intenten ser malos, simplemente viven en una burbuja y es difícil sacarlos de ahí.. Visualmente, esta película está muy bien hecha, el contraste entre los pequeños apartamentos desordenados de los Kim y la espaciosa casa moderna de los Park es sorprendente, el director utiliza estos escenarios muy bien sta transmitir cosas y toda la cinematografía es hermosa, hay tomas cuidadosamente compuestas que son increíbles y muchas veces llevan cierto peso simbólico.

As the plot unfolds and the film progresses, you feel it explores very deeply the social class dynamics here, and certain layers of complexity are revealed to you that go beyond the simple rich versus poor, the film presents you that the real parasites might not be who we initially assume, and the relationship between social classes is more symbolic than we would like to admit. One of the aspects I liked most about this film is how it shows you in your face uncomfortable truths about inequality and the individual and invisible struggles of the working class...the film gives you all this context, but it doesn't lecture you or give you moral lessons...
It just presents you with an unrelenting look at the realities of life in a society with deep economic divisions where the poor are treated almost like animals. Eso hace que Shinichi se convierta en enemigo del resto de los parásitos y se vea involucrado en situaciones que jamás se había imaginado, incluso presencie la perdida de seres amados y muchos otros que se convirtieron en víctima de los parásitos. Es una serie corta y en dos o tres días se puede ver completa.

Más allá de lo fantasioso de los parásitos y la vida que tienen, el autor de la misma nos quiere hacer pensar en las acciones de la humanidad, tanto así que trata de hacernos pensar por el comportamiento de algunos personajes si nosotros los humanos somos los monstruos o lo son los parásitos que solo buscan sobrevivir. Es una crítica a la humanidad, sobre todo a la falta de moral y como las personas no vacilan en quitarle la vida a otro humano por razones injustificadas y en otras sin ningún tipo de razón.

Pienso que este tipo de animes son muy reflexivos, no es tanto la fantasía que conlleva sino la trabajada historia. Por ese motivo no dejo de ver este tipo de producciones porque hay joyas que se pueden disfrutar sobremanera. Parasyte es una de ellas, así que te recomiendo que te tomes el tiempo para verla, te sorprenderás de lo mucho que te puede enganchar y lo mucho que te puede llegar a gustar.

El director, guionista y productor de esta película se llama Bong Joon-Ho, hasta los momentos es la primera película que veo de él, aunque hay otras entregas que me parecen interesantes como madre, el huésped y Okja.

Esta película fue estrenada el 25 de octubre del 2019.

Sinceramente, esta película me ha parecido muy interesante, aunque no al considero buena ni mucho menos mala, es ideal para pasar el rato y entretenerse, aunque si admito que los misterios que se esconde en esta película es muy intrigante.

Las cosas comienzan a salirse de control cuando una antigua trabajadora para la familia de Yeon-Kyo comienzan a darse cuenta de la clase de gente a las que metieron a trabajar, pero nunca sospecharan si son familia.

Por lo que me pareció excelente que la película no allá terminado de esta forma, sino de otra a las que no veamos venir.

Los críticos han hablado muy bien de esa película y la audiencia ha sido muy elevada, Rottentomatoes se menciona que la crítica de la audiencia ha sido de un 99%, pero que ha logrado tener una audiencia del 90%. 

Esta película le doy 4 estrellas de 5, ya que a mi parecer, los actores coreanos siempre nos demuestra ese sentimiento que contagia a la persona quien esté viendo esta película, la trama ha sido genial y los misterios que se encuentran en ella es fenomenal, de verdad que no tengo ms palabras para describir mejor esta película, aunque como mencione anteriormente, no es ni tan buena y mala, ideal para pasar el rato.

Hoy les voy a hablar de una gran producción, que estaba en mi lista de pendientes hace mucho tiempo, y por fin pude verla hace algunos días. Parásitos, una producción Surcoreana del 2019 que encanto a muchos de sus espectadores, ganando varios premios de la academia, entre ellos, nada mas y nada menos que , el de mejor película, y mejor película internacional

Parásitos, es una mezcla de suspenso, drama y yo diría, un toque de locura y humor negro, nos muestra la historia de dos familias muy diferentes, una de ellas, la familia Kim, está conformada por 4 integrantes los padres y sus dos hijos, viven en una gran pobreza, buscando cada día la forma de ganarse el pan, por otro lado esta la familia Park, también de 4 integrantes pero a diferencia de los Kim, los Parker son una familia adinerada, viven en una lujosa mansión y llevan una vida casi perfecta.

On the 21st of May, the picture had its global debut at the 2019 Cannes Film Festival. On May 30, 2019, it was released in South Korea. They have nothing but one other and a basic decency of resilience and hard work. So when son Ki-woo (Choi Woo-Shik) is faced with an unexpected opportunity to home-tutor a rich schoolgirl, he grabs the opportunity by getting his gifted artist sister, Ki-Jung. She outsmarted her way into the job and into the Park mansion.

An architecture discovered in the slums of Seoul, with views not of urinating drunks but of luxurious starlit skies, this wealthy house is everything for the Kims’ pokey and weirdly isolated. At that time businessman Mr. Park is at work, and his uptight wife, want to teach his daughter and young son. It’s a lifestyle that relies upon hired help: tutors, a chauffeur, and, most importantly, a devoted housekeeper Moon-Gwang (Lee Jung-Eun), who stayed with the building after its original architect owner moved out. ¿De qué trata?

Trata de la Familia Ki, gente pobre que vivían en condiciones deplorables. Su casa o departamento estaba en el subsuelo, ya que la ventana que daba a la calle estaba por encima de ellos, el hijo Ki-woo tenía un amigo Min y este le propuso que se quedara con su trabajo, que él se iba a la universidad, el trabajo consistía en darle clases a Park Da-hye, la hija del Sr. Park una familia adinerada, Ki-woo falsificó títulos para conseguir el trabajo, luego de unos días trabajando, se entera de que la Sra. Park está buscando una terapeuta de arte para su hijo Da-song, y le recomienda una amiga Jessica que en realidad es su hermana Ki-jung, luego Ki-jung le coloca una trampa al chófer de la familia para que sea botado y colocar en el puesto a Ki-taek su papa, luego van tras la caza de Mon-gwang el ama de llaves, con una infame mentira convencen a la Sra. Park de que su ama de llave está muy enferma y podría contagiar a toda la familia, esta sin mirar despide al ama de llave y entra la Sra. Chung-sook la madre de los ki, último miembro de la familia, de allí en adelante la película da un giro, al llegar nuevamente el ama de llave a la casa, bueno me imagino que ya la han visto, así que no se las cuento.

Opinión Personal

En mi opinión es una excelente película donde se plasma lo que el ser humano sería capaz de hacer por tratar de subsistir, una familia normal, unida padre, madre e hijos, que vive en unas condiciones deplorables, la vivienda estaba en el subsuelo, ya que la ventana que daba a la calle estaba por encima de ellos, era una familia trabajadora que le llego la oportunidad de surgir por encima de lo que fuera, se aprovecharon de gente culta, sin maldad, ingenua diría yo. La película es buena jamás me imagine el desarrollo de la trama y mucho menos el final. Es un drama con suspenso y comedia, Ki-woo el hijo entrelazo a toda su familia dentro de una sociedad alta, sin medir las consecuencias de sus actos. También se plantea la subsidencia de como esa pobre gente pierde todo ante un fenómeno natural en este caso las lluvias, todo esto unido al hedor que el Sr. Park percibía cada vez que se acercaba a Ki-taek desencadeno el caos y el final inesperado. Felicitaciones al Director, Productor y Guionista Bong Joon-ho.

What is it about?

Personal Opinion

In my opinion it is an excellent film which shows what the human being would be able to do to try to survive, a normal family, united father, mother and children, living in deplorable conditions, the house was in the basement, since the window overlooking the street was above them, was a working family that got the opportunity to emerge above anything, they took advantage of educated people, without evil, naive I would say. The movie is good, I never imagined the development of the plot and much less the ending. It is a drama with suspense and comedy, Ki-woo the son intertwined his whole family into a high society, without measuring the consequences of their actions. It also raises the subsidence of how those poor people lose everything before a natural phenomenon in this case the rains, all this coupled with the stench that Mr. Park perceived every time he approached Ki-taek triggered the chaos and the unexpected ending. Congratulations to Director, Producer and Screenwriter Bong Joon-ho.

PARASITE a Reality difficult to accept but very common in Society.

I will be totally honest with you, the first time I heard about the movie I thought it was about diseases or Zombies, I did not even see the TRAILER I just got carried away by the name and let it go. Not even the fact that it won several Oscar cousins caught my attention because of the simple fact that I thought it was about zombies.

It was the worst mistake I've ever made in scoring one. Movie without actually seeing what it was about.

PARASITE una Realidad difícil de aceptar pero muy común en la Sociedad.

Seré totalmente sincero con ustedes, la primera vez que escuché sobre la película pensé que trataba de enfermedades o de Zombis, ni siquiera vi el TRAILER solo me deje llevar por el nombre y la deje pasar. Ni siquiera el hecho que ganó varios primos Oscar llamo mi atención por el simple echo que pensé que trataba sobre zombis.

Fue el peor error que he cometido en marcar una. Película sin antes ver realmente de que trataba.

Seeing the film made it clear to me the reasons why it won so many awards and was cataloged as a jewel of current cinema and perhaps it will become a Cult movie.

Parasite is simply the living flesh sample of what is lived in the world and how the individuals that are part of it struggle to survive, but unfortunately they have been separated or discarded as useless people or that they have no value, other than what they can do to make life easier for those above.

Ver la película me dejó claro las razones por la que gano tantos premios y fue catalogada como una joya del cine actual y quizás se convierta en una película de Culto.

Parasite es simplemente la muestra en carne viva, de lo que se vive en el mundo y como los individuos que forman parte de ella luchan por sobrevivir, pero lamentablemente han sido apartados o desechados como personas inservibles o que no tienen valor, fuera de lo que pueden hacer para hacerle la vida más fácil a los de arriba.

In this post I am not going to investigate much about what the film is about, since I am sure that 75% of the community and followers of good CINEMA have already seen the film, I will touch on interesting points that touch the most delicate fiber of the human being.

LET'S START

We live divided by societies and classes that mark the distance due to avoid dreaming of something better. This has always been reflected in a more independent, but selfish world where the one who is well only thinks of his interests without thinking of the one who suffers, he totally lives calmly and his problems have a solution.

En este post no voy a indagar mucho sobre de que trata la película, ya que estoy seguro de que un 75% de la comunidad y seguidores del buen CINE ya han visto la película, tocaré puntos interesantes que tocan la fibra más delicada del ser humano.

COMENCEMOS

Vivimos divididos por sociedades y clases que marcan la distancia debida para evitar soñar con algo mejor. Esto siempre se ha visto reflejado en un mundo más independiente, pero egoísta donde el que está bien solo piensa en sus intereses sin pensar en aquel que sufre, total vive tranquilo y sus problemas tienen solución.

Pero también nos muestra la otra parte de la sociedad que se ve obligada o simplemente aprovecha una oportunidad para sacar el mayor provecho posible sin importar a quienes lastime o arruine en el proceso.

Como humanos siempre buscamos eso que nos dé tranquilidad y seguridad, donde las preocupaciones no sean nuestro pan de cada día, solo queremos vivir en paz para ser felices así de simple.

Esto es algo que la mayoría busca, pero que muy pocos consiguen, lo cual genera en la mayoría uma ansiedad o desánimo por no conseguir esas oportunidades. Dentro de la película vemos una familia con grandes recursos económicos y una vida digamos "Perfecta" por así llamarla y del otro lado una familia con pocos recursos y hambre de conseguir algo que los saque de ese hoyo oscuro que es su vida.

Podemos confundir oportunidades con logros y eso es muy común en nuestra sociedad, como personas pensamos que si nos va mal es por nuestra situación financiera o la falta de oportunidades y vemos a los que son exitosos con un pensamiento en mucho de los casos equivocados como si ellos tienen la vida fácil por nacer en cuna de oro o lo que se conoce por tener oportunidades que los lleven al éxito.

Vemos como la familia crea un ambiente donde todos son ganadores aprovechándose de las mentiras y el engaño organizado. Lo que sería para muchos la estafa.

LO BUENO

Ser la ganadora de varios premios Oscar no es la única razón que hace valiosa o punto de atención de esta película. Posee a nivel social gran potencial para que sea aprovechada y bien interpretada por quienes tienen la oportunidad de verla.

His photography is practically a jewel, it shows you different nuances and points of view, where the environment, that is, the setting, is part of the story and perhaps for many it goes unnoticed, but it is part of it.

Su fotografía es prácticamente una joya, te muestra diferentes matices y puntos de vista, donde el entorno es decir la ambientación forma parte de la historia y quizás para muchos pase desapercibido, pero es parte de ello.

Parte desde un punto A hasta un punto B, no existe ningún relleno o argumento mal estructurado, posee ideas originales que la vuelve una trama adictiva.

THE BAD

El contraste de la realidad con la ficción es mínima y eso se agradece, no queremos ver una película que exagere las situaciones sin necesidad o lógica, la película sabe trabajar eso de manera estupenda, nada es exagerada, ni fuera de lugar todo fluye naturalmente.

LO MALO

Quisiera decir que es perfecta o radiante como un diamante, pero sería falso y poco objetivo, claro no me considero un genio o gran conocedor del cine para decir que tengo la última palabra o que mi opinión sobre alguna película tiene peso o poder en la sociedad.

Pero si manejo un criterio y opinión personal sobre lo que veo, la película solo tiene un fallo y es su final.

Una de las buenas noticias que tuvo este año 2020 antes de la pandemia y el confinamiento, fue la victoria de esta cinta surcoreana en dos de las principales categorías de los premios de la academia, Mejor Director y Mejor Película. Para muchos fue un triunfo merecido, pero a muchos otros les sorprendió no sólo porque competía con otras buenas películas sino - y sobre todo - porque no la habían visto y no esperaban que la academia entregase el premio de la noche a una película de habla no inglesa por primera vez en la historia.

Por supuesto que la reacción de muchos que no la habían visto fue correr inmediatamente a enmendar ese error y a ello ha contribuido la reciente incorporación de esta cinta a la plataforma de streaming Netflix en donde ya contaban con algunas películas de su director Bong Joon-ho e incluso habían financiado una, Okja. Bien, pasados algunos meses y superado el calor del momento gracias al cual algunos espectadores, imbuidos por el triunfo entonces reciente de la historia pudieron haberla visto un tanto condicionados, me dirijo en especial a quienes aún no la han visto, para que se acerquen a ella, no como una ganadora histórica del Oscar, sino como una gran película, al margen de su éxito y su procedencia, así que trataré de hablar de Parasite sin incurrir en spoilers y sin analizar muchas escenas puntuales para no arruinar la experiencia de quienes se acerquen a ella por vez primera.

La película cuenta la historia de una familia surcoreana que vive de las sobras, al menos al principio. Con ello me refiero a que están desempleados y recurren a trucos y mañas para sobrevivir, tales como robarse la señal de WiFi de un vecino, tener ocupaciones temporales y esporádicas en trabajos muy particulares e intentar organizar de esa forma una economía doméstica que les permita vivir aceptablemente. Sin embargo, a los pocos minutos nuestra percepción de ellos cambia y dejamos de sentir un poco de lástima y empatía para comenzar a maravillarnos y divertirnos con lo atrevidos e impostores que pueden llegar a ser. En Venezuela diríamos que son vivos. Muy vivos. Porque cuando el hijo mayor comienza a dar clases particulares de inglés a la hija adolescente de los Park, una familia adinerada, la situación de ambos hogares comienza a cambiar.

Hay cierta simetría especular entre las dos familias, ambas constan de cuatro personas, con una pareja heterosexual, un hijo y una hija; en el caso de los Park, hay que incluir a la ama de llaves y al chofer, puestos que tras circunstancias manipuladas, ocuparán la madre y el padre de nuestra familia protagonista que ingresa a la mansión de sus patrones y a su núcleo familiar como parásitos en un huésped. Recordemos que el parasitismo es un tipo de simbiosis entre un organismo, el parásito, y otro, el huésped, en el cual, en la mayoría de los casos, la relación resulta perjudicial para el receptor y beneficioso para el parásito. De allí ya puede deducirse el tipo de relación que surgirá entre ellos y el por qué el nombre de la cinta.

La película puede sorprender a los espectadores, incluso a los más conocedores del cine asiático porque aunque tiene elementos propios del mismo y de alguna forma condensa el trabajo anterior de Bong Joon-ho, también incluye algo si no novedoso, por lo menos sí poco común y es la forma en que la película va mutando. Clasificar Parasite en un género es difícil porque toma de varias fuentes, pero a diferencia de otras películas que mezclan drama con comedia y otras cosas, en esta película en particular sentí que en lugar de mezclarlos, más bien era una sucesión de géneros. Inicia como una comedia que muta a drama, a thriller, un poco de terror y gore y luego acaba con un emotivo final. Para mí es una película de por lo menos 9/10, hay risas, lágrimas, sangre, denuncia social y muchas reflexiones sobre la familia, la identidad, la vida, el dinero y otros temas, que dejan una sensación confusa, revuelta, abrumadora, pero para nada indiferente. Así que más allá de los premios que haya ganado, es una de las mejores películas de los últimos años y sin duda una cinta que deberían ver o volver a ver.

Hace unos días se estrenó para la plataforma más grande de contenido audiovisual Netflix, la obra de arte ganadora del Oscar el año pasado a mejor película entre otros muchos premios, cubierta de grandes elogios por parte de la crítica tanto conocedora y para los amantes del buen cine, en esta review relataremos el por qué fue tan premiada, sus aciertos y como se ha convertido para mí en las mejores películas del último tiempo.

Il film del regista Sud Coreano Bong Joon Ho con enorme sorpresa di molti ha letteralmente stracciato la concorrenza durante l'ultima premiazione dei premi Oscar. Parte della critica ha avuto da ridire su questa scelta, d'altronde ci sarà sempre chi non é d'accordo con determinate scelte.

Rimane comunque il fatto che Parasite ha vinto e stravinto, con un bottino di 4 Oscar tra i quali miglior regista e miglior film del 2019. Me l'aveva consigliato qualche tempo fa un utente proprio qui su Steemit, oltre ad avermi consigliato un altro lavoro dello stesso regista che avevo già visto anni fa e mi era piaciuto davvero un sacco, Snowpiercer, piacevole sorpresa che mi é rimasta molto impressa soprattutto per la forte critica alla società e la differenza tra classi sociali.

Ecco quindi che il buon Bong non si smentisce e con questo suo ultimo lavoro riesce a tirar fuori il meglio di sé. Questa pellicola mi ha colpito un sacco, prima di tutto non é semplice seguire esclusivamente i sottotitoli mentre non capisci nulla del reparto audio, con estrema disinvoltura le immagini ti coinvolgono talmente tanto già dai primi minuti che tutto il resto passa in secondo piano.

Questo film racconta la storia di una famiglia composta da quattro persone costretta alla povertà, la quale vive in un seminterrato, ciò che sembra preoccuparli di più sono le comodità della tecnologia moderna, sfruttare gratuitamente la connessione WiFi del vicino é per loro di gran lunga più importante di trovarsi del cibo decente o un lavoro dignitoso, che inizialmente per il padre é piegare cartoni delle pizze comodamente seduto per terra. Quando il padre rischia il licenziamento per aver svolto male il proprio lavoro ci pensa la figlia a corrompere il suo capo facendogli cambiare idea.

Dopo aver pensato di aver visto il peggio, ci pensano gli stessi protagonisti a smentirci nuovamente. Il giovane figlio riesce grazie ad un amico ad andare a lavorare presso una ricca famiglia dando lezioni private a loro figlia, arrivando fino a sedurla er ottenere maggiori vantaggi, poco prima però il giovane falsifica un diploma con grande e sbalorditivo piacere del padre che quasi lo idolatra per questa sua conquista della quale si dice commosso.

Da qui partirà la "scalata al successo" della famiglia, il ragazzo riuscirà a far lavorare per la stessa famiglia sua sorella, dopodiché quest'ultima con uno stratagemma diabolico riuscirà a far diventare il padre l'autista, oltre che a farlo diventare un vero e proprio attore il quale studia a memoria una parte con l'intento di far rimpiazzare dalla propria moglie l'attuale governante che si trovava in quell'immensa e bellissima casa da anni.

Tutti e quattro ora sono in totale possesso della situazione, una sera, mentre i padroni sono fuori casa, si alcolizzano assieme con il scopo di impossessarsi della villa, ma proprio quella notte succede di tutto.

L'ex governante tornerà a far visita ai suoi ex datori di lavoro ma al loro posto troverà la famiglia impegnata a festeggiare, la donna ha dimenticato qualcosa nel bunker anti atomico, anzi qualcuno. Eh sì perché sottoterra vive suo marito, caduto in disgrazia, per risparmiare, vive sotto la casa tutto solo in un posto ormai dimenticato dai padroni.

Scene di isteria quando la donna scopre i loschi piani della famiglia e li ricatterà con il proprio smartphone filmandoli mentre si chiamano con i propri nomi familiari, tutto ciò finirà in tragedia, la coppia verrà legata e rinchiusa nel bunker mentre i padroni stanno tornando a casa per via di un imprevisto. L'ex governante morirà durante un tragico incidente e il marito darà di matto cercando di comunicare tramite codice Morse con un interruttore che si trova nella "sua" dimora che illumina le scale della casa sovrastante.   Qui un piccolo appunto personale, ci viene proposta la scena che egli illumina le scale a mo' di luce automatica quando queste vengono calpestate, cosa assai improbabile e non molto sensata, comunque evento isolato e abbastanza irrilevante per lo svolgimento della storia.

Due elementi molto importanti sono anche il barbone che urina davanti al seminterrato della famiglia, la quale si arrabbia e vorrebbe fargliela pagare ma non ne ha il coraggio, con il tempo acquistano confidenza e fiducia, arrivando a ribellarsi a quest'uomo, mentre si sentono al settimo cielo per le proprie conquiste lavorative.

Secondo elemento fondamentale é il cattivo odore. Loro, che approfittano delle finestre aperte di casa per sterminare gli scarafaggi mentre per le strade della città é in atto una disinfestazione, sono infastiditi dell'essere denigrati dai benestanti per questo motivo. Questo verrà evidenziato alcune volte fino a quando il ricco padrone dimostrerò tutto il suo rigetto non fermandosi neanche davanti alla morte, evento che farà scaturire la follia del povero padre che accoltellerà il proprio capo per poi sgattaiolare lui stesso nel bunker e vivere di nascosto dalla società che gli darà la caccia.

Da lì sotto cercherà di comunicare con il codice morso con il figlio, quest'ultimo cercherà di rispondere e far di tutto per acquistare la casa e liberare il padre dalla latitanza, queste scene si vedono e sembrano vere, in realtà sono soltanto frutto dell'immaginazione.

Gran bel film, mi é piaciuto davvero molto ed é stata per me una piacevolissima sorpresa, regala emozioni, fa riflettere e riesce a rimanere impresso. Bong ha colpito nel segno, é riuscito a scioccare e attrarre con una storia semplice e diretta, raccontando lati molto oscuri della natura umana ed estremizzare su dove potrebbe spingersi, fino ad arrivare ai limiti della realtà.

La industria cinematográfica internacional, y más concretamente la asiática, ha demostrado estar a la altura y muchas veces incluso por encima de la de Hollywood, con producciones discretas que son una maravilla desde el punto de vista creativo de la trama, destacando por el desarrollo de los personajes más que por el uso de efectos especiales o CGI.

De hecho, últimamente me he propuesto ver todo lo que puedo del cine asiático y recientemente me encontré con una maravillosa película llamada "Parasite" que al principio pensé que era una versión en vivo de un manga llamado así, pero no, la historia es totalmente independiente pero realmente increíble.

El comportamiento de la familia rica es tan despótico y cínico que incluso traen a otra familia pobre para luchar con la otra familia y así desencadenar un juego macabro para sobresalir en la casa.

La película es una obra de increíble distinción de clases, cada ambiente, cada escenario y cada diálogo se construye para mostrar diferentes puntos de vista de una sociedad que es capaz de llegar muy lejos para sobrevivir. El guión hace que todos los personajes destaquen en algún momento, dándoles una trama muy amplia para que sus personajes sean libres de desarrollarse orgánicamente sin subtramas tontas o superficiales que nos alejen de la crítica social que quieren transmitir.

Mientras que los millonarios me recuerdan mucho a una familia de psicópatas que son capaces de aprovechar su situación económica para empujar a un grupo de pobres más allá del abismo en el que se encontraban, empujándolos cada vez más a mostrar lo lejos que pueden llegar, haciéndolos humillarse en cada escena de cualquier manera posible; es realmente increíble las pocas emociones positivas que pueden transmitir, caracterizan perfectamente una apariencia dura e imponente que no se rompe en ningún momento.
