Project Almanac(2015): Traveling Back In Time ~ Movie Review@vinzie1799d

I am wondering on what kind of movie I should review but there is one movie that pops up in my mind while walking on the streets and it is PROJECT ALMANAC. This movie is about traveling into the past. With its awesome director Dean Israelite, the writers were Jason Pagan, Andrew Deutschman, and the actors/actresses Amy Landecker, Sofia Black-D'Elia, Virginia Gardner who were exceptional at acting on the movie.

Story

The story is about David who is struggling to pay his tuition on his school and he and his friends went to their basement to find something that is valuable to sell to pay off his tuition but they discovered a blueprint and a machine that can travel back in time.

They made one for it from the blueprint using his dad's equipment that was stash under the ground.

They tried to use the time machine and it was a success that they traveled back in time, they were really happy that they can travel back in time but little did they know that there were a lot of consequences if they change the past.

What will happen to the future if they will change the past?

What do you like about the movie?

There are lots of things that I liked about the movie but one of the things that I liked is how they built the time machine. I think it is complex to make one and it needs a lot of time to study this one. One thing is for sure, David's dad is one truly hell of a genius that he built the time machine on his own but David uses it in his own good.

These young people wasted on using this time machine and they used it for their own good, not for the benefit of all. Anyway, that's just how people works. Sometimes, they were too greedy and for their greediness, lots of terrible that happened in the future.

One scene that pops into my mind in this movie is that David travel back in time where his dad is alive and I think it's David's seventh birthday. David was really happy to see his dad and it makes me cry while they saw each other. They talked on what's in the future.

It really touches me after I saw them hugging each other because David knew that his dad passed away when he was seven but to see his dad is one of his dream after the incident of the future.

What would I do if I have that time machine capsule?

People tend to use the time machine for their happiness just like the movie. To be frank, Yes, I obviously would do the same just like what they did in the movie like I will make myself happy and do things that makes me happy but in the end, I will suffer the consequences.

The best thing that I can do is to only visit the past and see my loved ones. It makes me feel happy that I see them just like my grandfather who passed away last 3 years ago and I want to thank him for the things that he do to me.

Thoughts

This movie depicts on what will happen to the future and to the past. If we change the past, the future will also change. At first, these young people were very happy that they travel to the past and they make fun of it but in the end, they face the consequences that they could not imagined.

I think making a time machine that could travel back in time is close to impossible but not limited to possible but now, it is impossible to make it. Maybe in the future, it is possible and I'm not there anymore.

If you like watching Science Fiction (Sci-Fi) movie, then you will really love this movie. It shows you the truth on changing the past will also change the future.

The movie is 7/10 because there are lots of surprises and it will excite you on how they manage to change it for the better good but you will eventually knew that teenagers are just teenagers to do st*pid things just like the movie.

The almanac project is a science fiction adventure film directed by Dean Israelite. The main plot revolves around a group of gifted teenagers who build a time machine and travel back in time to change some events in their lives. However, as they continue their adventure, they discover that their changes have unforeseen consequences in both the present and the future.

The film begins with David Raskin, a bright high school student who wants to follow in the footsteps of his father, who researches energy and time machines. David finds a VCR in the basement of his house and discovers a home video of his seventh birthday, with a young version of himself shown briefly in the background. With the help of his friends Adam, Quinn and Christine, they come into contact with his father's work and discover plans to build a time machine.

Hello friends, a movie called Project Almanac was released in 2015 by director Dean Israelite about time travel. The movie shows a student's passion and effort to study at MIT University. But more than that, many harmful aspects have been shown, which can have a huge impact on today's youth society. A failed attempt to beautify the present using the inventions and technology of science has been shown time and again. We should understand that science and technology are being invented and will be developed and we should think about working with the present and the future by using it properly. Because the past becomes what it is, there is no point in trying to destroy the present and the future with the past. In the scene of the movie, we can see some examples of how big disasters can be created in the present as a result of what we want to fix in the past. Therefore, our aim should be to think about the present and future opportunities and convert them into action.

None of the scenes in the movie Almanac that show time travel to the past were for the benefit or good of the young and talented student and anyone around the world. And through this movie, a very beautiful realistic view of selfishness of people has been shown. For example, going back in time to find love, winning the lottery by fraud and going out with friends, there are many more to use.

But in the beginning of the movie, it is shown that a student is making various efforts for his chance to study well. And the purpose of all the efforts was messed up when he saw that despite getting an opportunity in MIT as a result of talent and effort, David was unable to study due to lack of money. And from that time, you can understand the direction of David's talent by watching the movie. In this way most of the talented students have started misusing their talent all over the world to prevent their continuous life. And a continuous real picture of that can be seen from 2000 to the present 2022...

Let's think about one thing, what we are showing and teaching today by showing and teaching our movies! For example, a job that takes 6 days for an ordinary person will take 4 days or maybe 3 days for a skilled, hardworking and talented person to do. This is to look at the ordinary and the extraordinary as positively as possible. One thing that the movie makes very clear is that we are really responsible for the present and future days that we will see.
