Can you trust you team members?

DeNiro brings his A game to this movie, this contributes with the other characters, location, action and plot. It is almost a sum is greater than its parts type scenario. Ronin is a classic espionage film, and one that will be difficult to surpass. The car chases are in the league of The Fast and The Furious, in short this is a must see film.

The word Ronin dates back to the time of the Samurai, in particular those whose masters have either been killed or disgraced. In other words they don't have a master are are typically seen as outcasts, even though they may have special skills. Since these warriors didn't have masters they had to sell their skills to survive.

That is the case in this film, except our "Ronin" seem to spies from various countries, or people with other specialist skills, and just like the Japanese Ronin their skills are for sale.

A number of them respond to a "job" offer to retrieve a case from a man that is planning to sell it to the Russians. It seems to be that the IRA don't want the Russians the have the case and are prepared to pay to have it stolen.

The group manage to successfully obtain the case, however one of their team appears to have made a deal on his own regarding the case. Should you be surprised if someone sells their skills that they would be prepared to sell out the mission for more money?

So, if you can't trust your team completely, and you are good at seeing various possibilities then you may have seen this coming and set things in place to out manoeuvre the mole. Of course you may not be the only one with suspicions on various team members. Get ready for everyone trying to out trick everyone else.
