Sahara is a 2005 action-adventure film directed by Breck Eisner based on the best-selling 1992 novel of the same name by Clive Cussler. It stars Matthew McConaughey, Steve Zahn and Penélope Cruz, and follows a treasure hunter who partners with a medical doctor to find a lost American Civil War Ironclad warship in the Sahara Desert.

I would imagine that most people have at least heard of this 2005 film and maybe about the fact that it is one of the largest box-office failures of all time. If you're looking for something thrilling and random to watch on Netflix, Sahara may be just the movie for you. Mcconaughey fans will enjoy this one for sure. The plot is decent as well as the acting. There were some truly funny moments as well. I give this one a 9/10 score. I enjoyed it.More
