Hello again dear friends and steemians today I selected the movie Shot Caller (2017) for the daily movie recommendation which is directed by Ric Roman Waugh which is known for making such films including Felon (2008) and Snitch (2013). The cast contain names like Jeffrey Donovan which is known from the series Fargo,Nikolaj Coster-Waldau which is known from the series Game of Thrones and Jon Bernthal which is known from the series The Walking Dead. Although these actors have not earned a significant award they surprised me by they roles in the TV series and also in another movies like Headhunters (2011) aka Hodejegerne where played Nikolaj Coster-Waldau and Jon Bernthal who played in the movies like The Wolf of Wall Street (2013),The Accountant (2016) and where I was surprised of his roles. Let's get started and see why I liked this movie and I'll explain a few things about it.

The movie begins with the release from jail of Jacob known under the name Money who was jailed because he drove under the influence of alcohol and unfortunately he crossed the red at the traffic light and caused the death of his best friend. I really liked how the crossings were made from the present to the past and you've been able to understand the whole story which was intelligently told.

I also liked the fact that the actors were not predictable except Howie which is played by Emory Cohen And which is often suspicious but also with this i liked the movie.

I really liked how the character Jacob it changes in prison playing two different roles one when he entered and one when he leaves the jail. I did not like the fact that the movie takes so long and the director could cut off easily 15 minutes from the movie and it would have been different but also with this was not a bad movie. I can say it's the best crime/prison movie which I have seen in recent years being an original one and the fact that he managed to convey some things and not to exaggerate so much makes it a very good movie which I hope you will like it and is on the list of the best movies i've seen from this year. I recommend this movie to everyone and I'm curious about your opinions , also don't forget to request the movie genre which you like to be recommended for tomorrow.

    My rating 8/10
