You ever press play on a film just because your favorite actor’s face shows up on the poster? Yup, that was me with this film. Seeing Nathalie Emmanuel had me sold before I even knew the plot and for that alone, I wanted to love this film. But somewhere between the gunfire, the emotional tension and the cool Parisian streets, it lost me a little.

    IMG_0749.jpeg

Emmanuel plays Zee. She’s a calculated and composed assassin whose world unravels after she refuses to carry out a hit on a singer named Jenn(played by Diana Silvers) whom she made go blind during one of her hits. Her single act of mercy turns her into a target, forcing her to fight both her enemies and her conscience. The setup of the film actually promises a sharp, layered story of betrayal, survival and maybe even redemption but it doesn’t quite land the emotional punch it aims for.

    IMG_0748.jpeg

Now, let’s talk about what actually worked. Number one is the visuals. It’s gorgeous. The Paris setting is sleek, moody and quite cinematic. It is the kind of backdrop that makes shadows look like a secret or threat. Emmanuel herself? An absolute powerhouse. She glides through fight scenes with precision and nails the quiet moments too. You can tell she’s giving it her all, even when the story gives her little to work with.

    IMG_0731.jpeg

Second is the soundtrack which also helps as it pulses with just enough energy to keep you hooked when the plot starts to wobble.

    IMG_0729.jpeg

The problem lies in the writing. It’s as if the movie wants to be deep but doesn’t want to take its time getting there. I didn’t feel enough emotional pull to fully invest in Zee’s choices. The action scenes, although very decent, lack that adrenaline spike you expect from a film with this kind of premise. Everything looks good, but it feels a bit empty. I also didn’t fancy the over use of slo-mo. Almost made it feel like those exaggerated Bollywood action films. By the halfway point, I realized I was more invested in Emmanuel’s performance than the movie itself.

    IMG_0725.jpeg

By the time this film ended, I was left thinking that it could have been something great. The potential was there especially with such great cast, setting and concept but it just didn’t quite hit home. Still, I’ll give Emmanuel her flowers. She carried this film with grace and grit.

    Rating: 6.5/10

    IMG_0727.jpeg

That said, if you’re a fan of sleek, stylish thrillers who enjoy seeing strong female leads take center stage and for anyone else who just wants to see Nathalie Emmanuel prove (again) that she deserves way more lead roles then I do recommend.

  2. NOOB FILM REVIEW - THE KILLER & THE WOMAN IN CABIN 10 (Netflix)@nazirullsafry257d

    cabuin10.jpg

The two attached movie poster is two movies sitting on opposite ends. Especially when talking about the correct way to copy (pastiche) and a bad way of doing it.

The Killer is a 2024's John Woo directed movie with the same title with the 1989 classic masterpiece which stars Chow Yun-Fat. It has all the trademarks - doves in church, gun-fu etc. But it is quite appalling at this age of tech and information, the one with the money could just settle on the skin-deep cosmetics without any shame. Apart from that, it is quite apparent that this is another attempt to womanised every male archetype IP (havent what happened with MCU past End Game thought them any lesson).

It is not about the sex of the protagonist but more of the bad character writing. Zee (Nathalie Emmanuel) background story does not justify her physical ability to hold a male twice her size nailed on the floor. Unless the writer gave her some super power ability and gave the audience the little suspension of disbelief. But none of them happened here. So unlike classic John Woo, who made us feel how it is being shot in slow motion, empathy is non-existent on this one. The attempt to write a ‘femme fatale’ resulted in a Mary Sue instead.

Many have successfully done a good pastiche out of John Woo’s Gun-Fu - The Matrix, John Wick and Face-Off just to name a few from the classic list. This The Killer is just another unabashed blatant use of the brand by some rampant capitalist with an agenda. Bad pastiche, borderline Kitsch. Avoid this one like a plague.

On the other hand, The Woman in Cabin 10 is a good example of good pastiche. From the start the director gave the audience a good exposition of the main protagonist, which is a Lois Lane type kind of journalist. She was invited by a wife of a rich man whos dying of leukemia for a ride in a luxury yacht to cover a story of her charity gala event. During the journey, a pandora’s box opens and this has taken Laura (Kiera Knightley) and also the audience into a well written (and well directed) mystery-thriller. We will finally understand why she was selected to be on the cruise.

A good pastiche because it copies (intelligently) from other classics with similar template like Vertigo (1958) or more relevant, Murder on the Orient Express (both 1974/2017). For the protagonist female character arch, this film reminded me of Black Swan (2010) with good pay-off and closure in the end. Worth a watch.

  3. The Killer (2023) - REVIEW - [ENGLISH-SPANISH]@maaasha269d

    Source

Since the beginning of The Killer 2023 gave me that weird feeling of when you see a movie where everything is so tidy, so clean, that I even came to believe that Fincher the director is mopping every scene so that there is not a single spot, this is something crazy because the man is really too neat with this film, and that didn't make me feel connected, rather the opposite happened to me, I felt like I was an intruder watching the life of someone who doesn't even know I exist, and although here Michael Fassbender breaks it acting as the most insensitive guy you can see, it's not something weird, it's like if the movie has something in store and it doesn't get it out, I don't know if you understand what I mean, it doesn't give it all. Now the atmosphere is brutal, no one can take that away, the director has that hand to grab a camera and put it where he wants and the guy makes it look cool even recording a guy putting Amazon Prime, zero James Bond, zero top secret inventions, just a guy who keeps asking for shit on the internet a normal person like you and me only that this instead of installing a webcam is putting together a new murder, all like he's cooking his lunch like this normal guy, because the guy sees killing as if it's a job that nobody wants but somebody has to do it and I think that's what makes it weird and what the movie lacks because it's so routine and you get bored of so much that the guy just sits and waits.

The thing about The Killer is that it doesn't try to make you sit through all the drama and emotion, there's not a single scene where Fassbender screams, he's always got his poker face on even when he's being beaten up, the man doesn't even blink and of course that's annoying because you don't want to see a robot. Everyone wants to see someone break even a little bit and here there is no such thing, here everything is planned to the millimeter, so much so that it seems that the guy lives measuring every step, every word, every shot and sometimes the plan can go to hell and he doesn't even flinch and doesn't lose control, and I didn't like that. The plot is very direct and punctual, the guy makes a mistake and the movie becomes a return to clean up the brutal mess he left, without much embellishment or extra rolls. It didn't seem to me one of those movies that make you think you saw something deep but you come out a little confused, here the script is a routine just like the killer, it takes you from place to place, the guy eliminates obstacles, but I didn't feel that real emotional tension because you never see anyone beyond what is strictly necessary, it has scenes where people's lives are just another procedure that this guy has to dispatch and almost no one has a name.

What really made me crazy was that scene where The Killer fights with the bodybuilder, they really put everything in there, there's so much physical contact, that raw action that I like that you even hear how the bones break against the wall hehehehe, it all sounds like you're being beaten right there next to you, but what pisses me off the most is that just when the guy gets out of his rules and loses control is that here it feels like the movie has life instead where most of the time there is no emotion, everything goes back to routine and again everything is predictable, even at a certain point it made me angry because maybe if there can be some drama but not the guy settles quickly and it's not even funny. At times the music caught me off guard, sometimes it sounds The Smiths and that detail is good although it seems more like a nice piece than a real connection, and I think that's what makes this film does not feel good because it is a lot of technique and little soul, everything works perfectly even the long pauses are well placed it seems as if it were a machine that is recording.

    Source

There is a detail that caught my attention is about the script that relies so much on the internal voice of the character, the guy spends half the movie talking in his head and almost nothing comes out in real voice, it's more like following someone who thinks nonstop but does not let anyone see what is really going on inside, it's like me when I'm thinking about something that the mind never shuts up and as a spectator one is like stuck in the head of a maniac who does not let go, that tires because there are parts where it seems that he is repeating a mandra of do not think, do not feel, do not affect you, it makes you pass the emotion provokes you to tell the guy to start doing yoga and leave the movie there. Of course it's not all bad either, the movie has those moments of weird humor, the dialogues sometimes throw things that make you smile, and you notice that even though the guy says he doesn't feel anything, he always gets a spark, a scene where you see that even the toughest guys have a human side, even if it's to screw it up. Tilda Swinton doesn't appear much but every time she does, she's a presence, and the food scene with her is pure gold, there the tension of knowing what's going to happen is like sitting down to watch a chess game where nobody wants to make the first move, that's when the movie shines.

When the movie ends you are left wondering if it's worth being so right? Because The Killer is the living proof that you can do everything right, without mistakes, but if everything is so clean, so cold, it can end up boring you, it's like cleaning your house and you don't have a single stain left but nobody comes to visit you and everything stays cold. I think with this plei it became clear to me that I like it better when a story feels messy or chaotic something asu like real life because when it's too perfect, you end up looking the other way waiting for something exciting to happen. My score for this movie is 6.5/10 because even though the visuals, acting and sound are good it lacks that thing that makes you scream, suffer, feel like you were watching someone alive and not a robot, I like chaos and real action so this movie is not really my type.

This a film that was highly anticipated and surprising since there was almost no news about it in the days leading up to its release, is a remake of the 1989 cult classic of the same name, directed by the same director John Woo.

The truth is that he had little to no opening to the idea of this film, mainly due to the trash and disappointment that accompanied his previous work in the United States. “Silent Night,”.

    [Source](https://www.filmaffinity.com/ve/filmimages.php?movie_id=227315)

I still don't understand how the author of this remake gave us an unforgettable revenge movie about a man whose voice was stolen (nothing new, the idea was taken from Anthonio Banderas' 2017 film Acts of Vengeance),

However, this remake is something different. A 120 minute film based on a true story, with great action scenes and a script that uses the main plot of the original film but adds elements from the director's other western films such as 1997's Face to Face and elements from the final act of Mission. : Impossible. 2, 2000.

The work of the professionals and the virtual lack of CGI is remarkable. The protagonist, yes, a charismatic female alter ego replaces Chow Yun Fat, is the British Nathalie Emmanuel, a face I recognized from previous seasons of Game of Thrones and who has an interesting professional career behind her.

The actress tried to convince, filming even risky scenes, including a fight scene, all with positive results.

The cop in this story, not the villain, is played by a French actor famous in recent years, Omar Sy. The villain in this film, who I believe was either added or changed from the original film, is Sam Worthington, known for his work in the Avatar series, among others. The cast also includes the almost unrecognizable Eric Cantona and Tchéky Karyo.

Consisting of three clearly defined acts, the film offers us classic John Woo scenes, i.e. continuous gunfire, flying pigeons, churches, guns with larger than normal bullets, dynamic action and dramatic aesthetics, as well as the use of slow motion at times as a single shot. a bit over the top. but it is aesthetically pleasing and intuitively functional.

  5. The Killer (2024) | Movies Review@josehany662d

I love action movies and this week I decided to visit the Max app, which I had forgotten about, and I found this.

The Killer, an action and suspense movie starring Nathalie Emmanuel. I found this actress in particular very beautiful since I met her in Game of Thrones as Missandei, a slave that the Queen of Dragons frees, then I saw her in Fast & Furious... And she has more movies but I admit that I haven't seen them, today I decided to give this one a chance.

We started by saying that this movie is a remake by director John Woo, originally from 1989. Now, what is this about? Simple, she is an assassin named Zee who works for a man who appears to be a businessman but is actually a real mobster.

This woman who seems to have a simple life with a goldfish and solving crossword puzzles, is actually scarier than she seems. Because her job involves killing the enemies and rivals of a mobster, so that he can have a monopoly on the drug business.

This is like the little base of the movie, now I find myself in a dilemma because I feel like I wouldn't know how to explain beyond this, although this movie was really made to entertain and not with a really encouraging message but not everything that happens here is bad. In fact, there is a small part of Zee's story and how she ended up working for those people, since she really isn't a bad person but life was a little hard on her.

In this film there are several characters that make this character take a turn and make her question the veracity of the supposed facts and information that they give her before sending her to kill someone. This theme is a bit trite but entertaining.

Now I don't know if I liked the film or not, I felt like it was missing something more, however I like Nathalie's performance, she has a very beautiful face and figure, I feel that these roles in action films suit her well. However, the film lacked some strength, it's like a car that is trying to start but never does.

  6. (ESP-ENG) The Killer - Movie Review!@javyeslava.photo663d

    **

Hola amigos, buenas vibras para todos.

    **

Hello friends, good vibes to all.

    Source!

“The Killer”, perhaps the most generic and cliché name for a movie and yet they decide to go ahead with it. Before I started watching or deciding whether to see it because of course, with such a name it could be anything, I started to read a little about it and I saw its cast and it is here where there were a couple of names that caught my attention: Nathalie Emmanuel and Omar Sy. The first for her character in GOT and Fast and Furious and the second for being the famous Driss in The Intouchables and of course, the super skilled thief named Lupin. Both of them are very good at this kind of movies so I knew I wasn't going to see anything wasted.

This story focuses on Zee (Nathalie Emmanuel), a hired assassin, a kind of hitman who is well known in the underworld of the city of Paris. She has a reputation for being ruthless, violent and above all effective in her work. She works for Finn (Sam Worthington) a guy who at the same time works for the head of crime in the city, Jules Gobert (Eric Cantona), yes, the ex-football player. The thing is that she is asked to do a job, to go to a place and kill everyone without distinction, that sometimes generated an internal conflict for her but she ended up doing it anyway, until one night when she decides to leave a loose end.

    Source!

And this happens precisely because of what was said before, many times it was questioned why kill someone and if that person really deserved to die. This living person represents a problem for Zee because now they are after her for not having fulfilled the contract. On top of all this we have the police in the figure of Sey (Omar Sy), a very perceptive and intelligent detective who starts the investigation; he is one of those unbribable ones who can't stand corruption. Then this story becomes a perennial persecution of all against all where in the end come to light betrayals, conspiracies and many dead killed in a myriad of forms and modalities.

The plot is what it is, basic and to the point. There is not much surprise, everything is focused on Zee's modus operandi and the way she kills those who get in her way. Despite being a cold killer we will see in her a human side that struggles many times for wanting to impose itself but there are things in her past that do not allow her to leave that world. That battle is also interesting to watch. Personally I was not bored, it is a generic movie, you know what is going to happen, you know the fate of each character but it is still very enjoyable, very good for hanging out. Few changes in the plot, the plot twists don't have much weight, there are a couple that could be interesting but not more.

    Source!

This is pure action where we will see scenes of fights, shootings and chases that in my opinion were well done. It is somewhat violent and graphic, that's good, the deaths that occur range from mutilations, firearms, swords, slit throats, etc.. The fight sequences were also up to par, Nathalie surprised me in that department, a lot of agility and dexterity, the nightclub scene is really good, it's the main axis of the whole story. At least they tried to cover up the flatness of the story with these things, it's the usual technique: the plot doesn't have much weight? - at least distract them and that's the way it was.

The characters, well, not much to say. Both are good. Omar Sy is rare to see him on the side of the good guys, I had the vision of him being Lupin and now to see him chasing someone with certain characteristics of that character is certainly interesting. And Emmanuel is very top notch, it's good to see her in a starring role. I think that even though the movie has its details and it's not perfect she made it decent, nothing bad to say. Basically everything revolves around the two of them, hence the others are secondary.

    Source!

A very average movie, but pretty average I would say. I give it a 6/10. Although it doesn't get tiring when watching it, I was expecting a little more in terms of story and depth. Action at its best and good fight sequences but that's as far as it goes. It lasts less than two hours, that's good. I leave the trailer below.

  7. The Killer (2024 remake film): doesn't do justice to the 1989 classic@netflixr671d

Remakes are likely my least favorite type of film behind zombie films and even superhero movies. I find them to be the laziest kind of film-making in the world. Are we truly completely out of ideas and are just going to rehash stuff that worked in the past? While this film seemed to have a large budget, it was never released in cinemas as far as I can tell and instead was released on the Peacock streaming service exclusively.

    image.png src

This film attempts to copy the major plotlines of John Woo's 1989 film that was released out of Hong Kong and was in Cantonese. So I'll give them this at least: Perhaps a remake of a foreign language film is more excusable than remaking something that was already in English to also English. I still don't think it is necessarily a good idea though because just look at Oldboy. The Korean film is, in my opinion, one of the greatest films ever made and the English remake, despite a huge budget and some big names in the cast, is absolute garbage.

Moving on: The Killer is a story of a hitman, or in this case because we have to keep up with the social justices in the world, "hitwoman." Her name is merely "Zee" and she is an unstoppable machine. I have a real problem with what Nerdrotic dubs "girl-bosses" in films because honestly, it doesn't really matter what your hand-to-hand combat skills are if you weigh 130 pounds. You are going to get your clock cleaned by the first man you meet that is double your weight.

    image.png src

I'm not going to spoil the film too much but not only is "Zee" someone that can Jason Bourne an entire room of armed individuals with little difficulty, but she is also a master of disguise and is always one or two steps ahead of whoever is pursuing her. Throughout the film she interacts with a incorruptible police detective named "Sey" and honestly, I'm not understanding why nobody had regular names in this movie and can't even figure out a connection between this and the original film as far as the naming conventions are concerned.

They made a rather bizarre decision to have the film take place in France so now a great portion of the film is in French so if you don't speak French, and I am guessing most people don't, you now have to deal with subtitles even though this movie is meant to be an English-language remake.

    [src](https://static1.moviewebimages.com/wordpress/wp-content/uploads/2024/07/the-killer-2024.jpg)

As is typical with Woo films, most of the plot takes a back seat to interesting camera angles and of course over-the-top car chases and crashes. This part of the film is actually quite interesting as is most of the fighting that takes place. Woo and other Hong Kong directors tend to focus on martial arts action and this part of the film is entertaining even though it is very difficult to take seriously since "Zee" is played by Nathalie Emmanuel, who I do like as an actress but even when she has "bulked up" for a role she tips the scales at a mere 130 lbs and it is simply inconceivable that she would be able to take on a room of hardened criminal men at the same time in hand-to-hand combat. It's not that I need my movies to be hyper-realistic, but this trend right now is something I can do without.

    image.png src

It is believable that she could be a master of weaponry but when she takes on a room full of full-size men wearing what is essentially a Catwoman suit, I have to call BS on that. Of course the only worthy adversaries that she faces the entire time are also a couple of women and at one point in time the line of "never send boys to do a woman's job" is uttered and that was just cringe as hell. That alone is going to encourage the ire of a lot of YouTubers who are sick and tired of "the message" that is put into films. Thankfully, this trend is dying a quick death and perhaps we can return to normalcy in films before too long.

    Should I watch it?

I'm not going to completely bash this film: It does have some good moments in it and the action for the most part is pretty good. The overall story is quite predictable beyond a few things and that is just fine because at the end of the day this is a John Woo movie so it has the plot-twist potential of your average Transformers film. This is expected. The choreography of the fights are solid and when there is action on the screen, which is most of the time, it is pretty entertaining. That being said I think that there isn't anything particularly special about this film so watch this only if you are looking for some sort of mindless entertainment. I regularly refer to movies like this as something I could have on in the background while I clean my house and if you want to see it, you can do that as well. At least once it is over you will have accomplished something you probably should have done anyway.

50119633_m.jpg At the moment the only legal way to watch this is to stream it as part of your Peacock subscription

  8. Review of Movie ''The Killer''@reviewzzz706d

"The Killer" is one of the films that leaves a clear mark on the world of cinema thanks to its exciting story and the distinguished performances of its actors. Directed by John Woo and starring Chow Yun-Fat, this film is considered a classic of action crime cinema. In this review, we will review some of the main aspects of the film that make it special.

    The Plot

The film's story revolves around a professional killer named Ah Jung, who makes his last killing before retiring. While carrying out one of his missions, Ah Jung accidentally injures a young singer named Jenny, causing her to lose her sight. Ah Jung feels guilty towards Jenny and decides to help her by raising money for surgery that might restore her sight. At the same time, Ah Jung finds himself targeted by the police and fellow killers, leaving him in a constant struggle between the desire to atone for his guilt and survive.

    The performance

Chow Yun Fat gave a wonderful performance in the role of Ah Jung, where he was able to present the character of the professional killer with its psychological and moral complexities. Chow Yun Fat shined in portraying the character's internal conflict between his duties as an assassin and his feelings of guilt towards his victim. Sally Yeh's performance as Jenny was also moving, as she wonderfully conveyed the feelings of vulnerability, hope, and determination to overcome her adversity.

    Directing and photography

John Woo excelled in directing the film with his distinctive style that combines fast action with dramatic slow scenes. Wu used innovative filming techniques, such as slow-motion scenes and angular photography, to create an atmosphere of tension and suspense. The combat scenes were amazing, full of movement and precise details that reflect Wu's craftsmanship in directing action films.

The soundtrack in "The Killer" was consistent with the dramatic atmosphere of the film, as it enhanced the impact of the emotional scenes and added an atmosphere of suspense to the combat scenes. Music was an integral element of the story, contributing to conveying the characters’ feelings and intensifying the general atmosphere of the film.

    Cultural Influence

"The Killer" is considered one of the films that greatly influenced international action cinema. John Woo's directing style became a reference for many filmmakers, and many of his techniques were imitated in later films. The film was not only an outstanding cinematic experience, but it was also an inspiration for a large number of films in the same genre.

"The Killer" is a cinematic work that combines excitement, action and drama in a distinctive way. Thanks to the brilliant performance of Chow Yun Fat and the creative direction of John Woo, this film has become a classic in the world of cinema. If you are a fan of action and crime films, “The Killer” is definitely a must-watch.

  9. The killer@steemychicken1711d

Fassbender+Fincher+Assassin were enough to draw me to the movie.

As for "The Killer," I don't know if it will appeal to everyone, or rather, I know it won't. It isn't a crime movie or thriller in the typical sense. It doesn't rely on mystery or twists. The plot isn't exciting. From start to finish, we follow a killer who eliminates his targets one after another, with a more personal motive than usual. Fincher could have easily fallen into the trap of a lifeless and empty repetition. Instead, he gives us a slow character study. The anonymous protagonist can be separated from his unique profession, revealing just another worker, trapped in a routine, a philosophy of life and work aimed at success, efficiency, and control. When something happens that threatens the normality and false sense of security the protagonist has built, a series of vengeful murders unfolds, and we gradually see aspects of his character that don't match the persona he's constructed. This happens without dramatic outbursts, giving a sense of realism. Fassbender is excellent and, despite the other solid performances (with an impressive Swinton), he definitely carries the film. This, of course, is expected because his role dominates. Regardless, he plays a mostly silent character, and his expressions and the internal depth he conveys make his performance captivating. While watching, I think it's impossible not to think of Fincher. His attention to the details of each frame without ever becoming pretentious draws attention. At the same time, there is a FLAWLESS combination of media. The film feels like an audiovisual novella due to the combination of structured narrative, internal monologue, and rhythm that resembles literary rather than cinematic storytelling of the broader genre. In conclusion, special mention must be made of the sound department (and when I talk about the sound department, I don't mean just the choice of music, which was also flawless and deserved to go straight to a playlist). The way sound changes directionally, its movement along with its source, the change in levels, and the auditory sense of depth depending on the spatial layers, the differentiation between sound when we are external observers and when we are in the protagonist's perspective... the work done was remarkable. I would say the movie is 100% worth seeing in the theater but since I was almost a year late my home was a nice choice too 😂.

  10. Netflix movie: The Killer from 2023@avatara716d

Hello everyone, have you seen the movie The Killer, a Netflix movie directed by David Fincher from 2023. I came across it by accident and was in the mood for a thriller. This one surprised me.😃

The Killer is an eccentric thriller where we follow the dark world of an assassin played by Michael Fassbender. A mission goes wrong and has consequences for his lover, so he goes on a revenge spree to catch those behind it. He delivers a solid performance as the calculating and cold, emotionless assassin, balanced with moments of dry wit.

Visually, the film is a delight and the director is known for his detailed approach, creating a gloomy universe where every scene is carefully composed. Here there are many entertaining scenes and intense fight scenes that show masterful direction and with hypnotic undertones in the music, the film's atmosphere is enhanced and given an extra dimension. None might find the film a little pretentious, but I enjoyed it. A successful mix of style and excitement, I give this an 8, I recommend you watch it if you like such films.

    Here is a trailer.😃

  11. Suspenseful And Gripping || Review Of The Killer (2023)@kemmyb834d

    IMG_20240316_191623.jpg divider curl .webp

The title of this film sets the stage for what to expect in this action thriller. There's no need to sugarcoat this—It's about a killer who does his job so spectacularly well that once he appears, his targets don't argue but succumb to their fate! I know I wouldn't want to meet someone like this in a dark alley.

Based on the French novel series of the same name written by Alexis Nolent and directed by one of Hollywood's foremost psychological thriller makers, The Killer (2023) holds the audience in its grasp and immerses them in the revenge journey of a smart and icy assassin.

The Killer is on a high priority contract in Paris, staking out a hotel and awaiting the right time to take out his target. But things go wrong when he pulls the trigger of his sniper rifle and someone else dies, alerting the target to the impending attack on him. He flees the scene, travels out of the country and returns to his house to find it ransacked and bloody trails around. He discovers his girlfriend is in the ICU, battered and bruised.

Who would dare to enter the lair of a skilled assassin? Why did they hurt his girlfriend and almost left her for dead? What do they want?

    ______

Seeing that David Fincher is the director of this action thriller, I knew it would be worth watching. The plot is great—an insight into the assassin's job but in this case, he misses his target which seems like a mistake he never makes. This leads to unexpected consequences and an unending trail of blood and dead bodies.

Unlike his technique of diving straight into the action as he did in Gone Girl, Panic Room and The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo, Fincher chooses a different narrative style and goes slow at the beginning of this film before picking up the pace midway. The focus is on how The Killer operates and the rules he lives by, and this is backed by a voiceover narration by Michael Fassbender, aka, The Killer.

    IMG_20240316_191657.jpg

    IMG_20240316_191858.jpg

Fincher takes his audience through this assassin's routine down to the smallest detail like his sleeping pattern. Every scene is packed with rich details and intrigue about the Killer's next move. He's perfect, stoic and emotionless in action. He goes against his rules to exact vengeance on those who try to take him out, making him a fascinating character.

In my opinion, Michael Fassbender is the fitting actor to play the role of the assassin because he does perfectly. Tilda Swinton, a fellow assassin, plays her part so well too like she was born for it. Fincher did great with his stellar cast and their performance was simply outstanding.

The scene I enjoy the most is when Fassbender goes after The Brute played by Sala Baker. Their fight scene in a dimly lit house at night emphasises the dangerous nature of the Killer's job. The lighting is low and perfect creating tension and suspense. I feared for the assassin at this point believing he might be killed but then, he's the protagonist and needs to stay alive till the end of the film. The action sequences were well executed.

The cinematography, editing and transitions are simply perfect. Everything is intact, nothing out of place in my opinion. David Fincher is known as the perfectionist so I can't imagine the amount of work that went into making this film.

Overall, I enjoyed watching The Killer. The narrative is perfectly crafted to hold the audience in a gripping suspense and deliver adrenaline-pumping thrills. It's a film worth watching. I'll give it 4.5 stars out of 5. R-rated for violence and gore.

Thank you for visiting my blog.

  12. The Killer (film): One of my favorite underrated actors stars in another excellent film@netflixr901d

I think that Michael Fassbender is one of the most underrated actors alive today. He has been in some really amazing films and one of them is Shame which I consider to be one of the best films ever made by anyone. He doesn't often get starring roles and this doesn't make a great deal of sense to me. I think he is a fantastic actor with skills that few other actors can match, yet he doesn't get many roles and this seems odd to me. Maybe he just doesn't have that appeal to get people into the seats of theaters and the fact that The Killer didn't even get a wide release might suggest that the producers of his films don't believe that he will pull in the crowds either. The fact that this film didn't even make half a million at the cinemas is odd to me, because it is a fantastic film although you could say that it is quite a typical plot-line.

    image.png src

The story here is not unique: Fassbender plays the role of simply "the Killer" and we never get to know his real name. He has a wide variety of aliases, passports, ID's, and all the other things necessary to be whoever he wants to and untraceable. He is a world-class assassin and we get a rather lengthy introduction into his process and at first I didn't like it and turned the movie off but this was not the movie's fault. I had 6 beers that night before starting the movie and I was pretty tired and in bed, so we can't blame the film for this even though it does in fact start out a bit slow. However, this is done on purpose to show exactly how time-consuming doing a kill correctly actually can be. It shows the prep time, the waiting, the methodical process that cannot be violated if someone is to be successful in this art.

    image.png src

I'm not going to tell you any more about the first chapter though because it is a pretty shocking part of the overall story and while it is very interesting, revealing it would give away a tremendous part of the storyline.

This film is divided into 6 distinct chapters and I like that they do the movie this way. In each one of them the story is basically its own sub-plot but they all come together for a complete story by the end. When films do this, and do it well, I tend to think it is excellent and in my mind they executed (pun intended) this method perfectly in The Killer.

    image.png

As the movie goes on I found myself becoming increasingly envious of the life that he leads and the immense wealth that he has accumulated from being so good at it. I don't know if there really are people like this in the world but I would imagine that it is probably one of intense paranoia and what appears to be sometimes rather extensive preparation and noticing little things that most other people wouldn't. The level of access he has to certain things is impressive although I am a bit perplexed about how a person could possibly have a dozen passports and dozens of matching credit cards through fake identities. I guess there is a way but seeing as how it is sometimes difficult for me to use what is my genuinely real credit card, I have a hard time believing that this is possible. Oh well, it is a movie, we have to move past that.

    image.png src

I can't really say much about what happens in this movie but just know that it is your run of the mill "revenge movie" but executed by what I consider to be one of the best actors out there now. Put some other big name in this role such as Jason Statham and it simply wouldn't work the way that it does in this movie. Fassbender is the perfect candidate for this role and I am delighted that he was the choice for it. I don't think I would have enjoyed it as much as I did if they put literally anyone else in the role.

    Should I watch it?

The only reason I can come up for why someone shouldn't watch this would be if you are the kind of person that doesn't enjoy action films. There is a small percentage of the population that is like this but I think most people are down with some action. The pace isn't full on all the time but I actually found the rise and fall of the action to be something that improves the overall experience. The soundtrack is absolutely perfect as well and the trailer above embodies some of that as well. This is one of the best action films I have ever seen and I highly recommend that you see it.

  13. The Killer | Reseña | Review@irvinc933d

    PORTADA-M.jpg

    TITULO INGLES.jpg

David Fincher is an American director I have been following for some time. Among the works of his filmography that I have liked are: Alien 3 (1992), The Game (1997), Fight Club (1999) and The Strange Case of Benjamin Button (2008). In all these films there are very original approaches and careful cinematographic technique.

When I heard that there was a new film, The Killer (2023), about the world of professional assassins, I wanted to know if Fincher was bringing something new to the subject...

The theme of the film is relatively simple: a top assassin, in his peculiar area of work, fails on a mission. The consequence of this is that he must pay for his mistake with his life. The plot develops around the different situations this man must go through to save his life.

One of the things that catch my attention is the director's interest in humanizing the figure of the assassin. Christian (Michael Fassbender) is a meticulous man, with a calm temperament, with good manners, who practices yoga and surely meditates to calm his mind, with a private life that he longs for, defends and enjoys... An apparently normal person of whom no one would suspect that he is a professional assassin of important personalities.

    imagen2-580.jpg

And perhaps this is the aspect that Mr. Fincher wants to emphasize, nobody walks around with a mark on his forehead where he says how he is, much less what he is. It is very likely that among the people we see in the day to day could be covered a murderer, maybe not with the level of professionalism that Christian has, but a murderer at last...

Another aspect in which the director takes sides is the likelihood of impunity, there are offenses that go unpunished and for example the protagonist of our film. In the end he can enjoy the quiet retirement that allows him the great fortune made by eliminating other people's lives and without any problem, since he has previously taken out of the game all the people who could play a joke on him.

The film is inscribed in a logic of our time in which values tend to be weak and triumph can be achieved in the most unsuspected ways...

The narrative is structured in small chapters, which facilitates the viewer's attention. I like this way of presenting the films because it introduces us to additional expectations about the development of the plot. Each chapter opens up a new intrigue.

Even with this narrative scheme, there were moments when the narration lacked rhythm. And I am not referring to the long opening sequence where Christian puts us in context by reflecting on some details of his profession and where he also makes a rather deep criticism about the way of being of contemporary society. To me this part seemed a masterful introduction and unlike some opinions I have read, I consider it one of the best parts of the film.

    imagen3-550.jpg

Among the things I liked is the logistics needed to be the most effective in that profession. Our protagonist is the holder of multiple identities, with passports and bank accounts that allow him to move like a fish in water anywhere in the world. I don't doubt that this is the case, and as I watched that arsenal of resources I thought about how Christian managed to connect with the right channels of corruption that allow him to equip himself in that way. Passports and new identities are not just around the corner.

Another success is the interpretation of Michael Fassbender, an actor that I like a lot, he has a way of acting where he transmits many feelings being almost inexpressive, his face looks like stone and yet, very slight gestures and subtle changes in his eyes are enough to get us into his moods. I thought he makes a perfect character.

Among the things I didn't like was the scene where Christian tries to get rid of one of his pursuers. The guy is a good-looking guy from the neighborhood, lives in a shabby house, in a somewhat sordid environment.

This one is more like the prototype we have of the small-time hitmen who shoot people in the street, leave them lying on the street and then flee on a motorcycle. That neighborhood thug seemed to me completely out of place in this world of "high-end" professional killers, where astronomical fees are charged for each job and where it is perhaps necessary to know very well the sophisticated environment where the victims operate.

Nothing to do with the refinement of the protagonist and the other assassin they are looking for to kill Christian and thus charge him for the mistake made, this assassin is also a refined woman, knowledgeable about human psychology and who lives in a luxurious environment.

    imagen4-580.jpg

I also missed knowing something about the origin of the protagonist, a matter that can be easily solved with some flashbacks.

The film isn't bad, but it's one of those that doesn't catch my attention enough to give it another viewing. Of course, this is something very subjective and personal. This is a film with many merits: a good photography, a good soundtrack; very ingenious details that catch the attention, a good dose of tension, a camera handling that gets us into the plot and a psychological treatment of the character. All these elements are enough points in favor to give it at least one viewing. At your own risk.

    Thanks for your time.

  14. Say whatever you want, but "The Killer" by David Fincher is cinematography at its best...@chris-chris92944d

    Courtesy-Sourced by...

If there is one contemporary film director who understands the concept of color in cinema particularly well, it is undoubtedly David Fincher.... There is a beauty that only his mind of suspense, human rot and use of artistic shots is capable of. I had no expectations when I watched "The Killer"; in fact, I watched it two days ago, as I came down with a very bad flu that put me to bed and left me with no options. I logged into my Netflix account, and simply let myself be swept away by beauty at its finest....

Say what you want about the plot of "The Killer", or the bizarre ending it has ("bizarre" for the way Fincher's story usually ends) but as far as cinematography goes, no one today is able to compete with it. Obviously, this is a very subjective value judgment; I am aware of them. But here, I will try to give arguments to be able to explain my point of view and above all to give a meaningful tribute to a filmmaker, author and magnificent filmmaker such as the gigantic David Fincher.

    Courtesy-Sourced by...

Start with the general shots that this film has. If you pause them, they literally turn into a baroque painting. That level of detail for a color palette, I have never seen it so well applied as in Fincher's filmography. And, evidently, this time there are no exceptions. The plot is very simple. An assassin for hire has a job, to eliminate a powerful and apparently political target he has been tasked with.... In between, we see the psychic and cognitive abilities that the character of the "Killer" has; the protagonist...

Patience, method, an active psychopathy and above all an obsessive planning that gives the viewer the ability to be at the side of the protagonist. At times, it is claustrophobic, cold, extremely introspective; in the end, very much of the type of stories that Fincher loves to develop in his films. Where the subjects that come to life in this kind of stories are not precisely the heroes we all know and with whom we have grown up archetypically. On the contrary, the director gives us a first-person vision of the consequences of not having fulfilled the mission with which the film begins.

    Courtesy-Sourced by...

In certain aspects, it reminds me of "Drive", from 2011. A film that at the time went totally unnoticed, and that has the performances of film geniuses like Bryan Cranston and Ryan Gosling, and that to top it off has a soundtrack that is, currently, totally iconic and recognized by all. But in its plot it develops a violent but passive subject. With method, skill and planning. Subjects that look like robots but have their own individual scale of values.

Now, going back to "The Killer", I love its simplicity. A linear plot, nothing earth-shattering but with scenes that are breathtaking. The editing, clean, simple and extremely well narrated. The cinematography is something that is impossible not to highlight. As I mentioned before, from an aesthetic point of view it is a visual pleasure. The dreary, dull, cold lighting contrasts beautifully with locations where bright colors are the norm rather than the exception.

Voiceovers, typical of David Fincher's filmography, is something I love. Because it offers ethical dilemmas, which in my opinion, are what add value to the film. And that make, that a simple plot, is extremely intelligent "Respect the plan, do not trust anyone, anticipate, do not improvise", are just some of the phrases that stay in your head. As I also said, it's been almost 3 days since I've seen it for the first time, and I still remember these powerful phrases. Believe me, when you see it, you'll understand....

The main character, "The Killer", that's his name; he is someone who before being something is a method. Without empathy, without improvisations, without political ideas, without value judgments. Without the misogyny typical of Fincher's films. An attractive perfection for the viewer, and a work of art of this director. I only ask you, to leave expectations aside, and let yourself be carried away by the story. It is beauty at its finest. It is incredible, mesmerizing, strong and beautiful; very beautiful.

    **

Do you want to have a visual, sensory and highly introspective experience; in addition to enjoying an artistic experience for almost 2 hours? I recommend you to watch "The Killer". It's on Netflix and it's a gem.

  15. The Killer: It's a decent movie, but I expected something more [ENG-ESP]@freddbrito946d

David Fincher is synonymous with "great audio-visual experience" and under his name this director has films like: Zodiac, Seven, Fight Club among others, besides being in charge of one of my favorite series Mindhunter, which unfortunately will remain unfinished for life, as David Fincher himself has said that making a series like Mindhunter is very expensive, for that reason we will no longer have 3rd season of this excellent series and will always be with that half storyline for life. But leaving aside Mindhunter, today I will talk about David Fincher's most recent movie, called The Killer. When I found out that this director was in charge of this movie I immediately told myself that I had to see it yes or yes.

The story of The Killer is quite "simple", with its nuances, of course, the story focuses on "Christian", which is played by Michael Fassbender and as the name of the film indicates, it is about a hired killer, who after having missed a target, is pursued by those who hired him for having made that mistake, and so, in simple terms is the story of this film. We are presented with a protagonist who is quite methodical in his work, quite focused and who has things very clear, especially in his moral sphere. One of the things I liked is that after doing his "job" is all he does to leave no trace that he was in that place or to make it look like the death of the person he just killed was the result of an accident.

It is a film that does not have too many dialogues, only near the end of the film is where there is more interaction of this type. "Christian", has many internal dialogues with himself, he repeats to himself the things he must do and what he thinks about what he does, something like a mantra that keeps him focused on what he must do and although this character is presented to us as a person who does not care about anything but doing his job and the lives of others are nothing to him, after having failed that job we are shown that he really has someone important in his life, being this a very interesting little plot twist, because after that failure, those people who wanted him dead after his mistake, hurt almost to death that person who really matters to "Christian", so after that he engages in a hunt against those who attempted against the life of his "partner".

The Killer is a film with a somewhat slow pace, it takes its time to get to the situation required for the story to move forward, there are few moments of action, although there is one in particular, when he faces one of those who went to attack his "partner" which is pretty good and although "Christian" is a skilled killer, this fight shows us that he can still get hurt, although in the end everything goes according to his plans, because he continues to fulfill his mantra and his ultimate goal. I personally expected a little more from this film, not that it is bad, but compared to other films by this director, The Killer is quite forgettable, but still worth watching and thus have your own opinion of this film. It's a pretty rounded movie, but for now it's the last one in the top of all David Fincher's movies.

    The killer LOGO.jpg

  16. The Killer (film, 2023)@florenceboens956d

    Bonjour,

On s'attendait à vraiment mieux.

    English Text

Greetings Hivers, have a happy Tuesday everyone, already closer to Black Friday, so go ahead and take your savings to take advantage of the offers and buy necessary and unnecessary things too if you can indulge yourself.

Speaking of unnecessary things, I come to tell you at once that today's plot don't watch it, because I really consider it to be very bad. A few days ago I had seen a movie with 10% dialogues, now netflix has bet on a plot with narrated dialogues, and the truth I don't know which is worse.
I think the problem is not that it is narrated, rather I consider that said narration seemed like a loop of same words and paraphrased sentences about what was happening that basically turned into the same thing.
Michael Fassbender however, I think he played a good role within all the bad vibe of the movie, I never expected anything less from him, and I hope he thinks twice before making a sequel.

    English Text

Now, talking about the plot as such, there is not much to imagine when we have the title "the killer" basically is that, a man who is hired anonymously to end the lives of specific people.

Taking into account this type of work, it is most likely that you should choose a person who does it correctly and does not leave loose ends that can connect with the person who has hired him.
These things are important to mention because they are key parts of the film, since the beginning of the movie shows all the preparation and patience that this killer has while waiting for the right moment to act.
The point is that they not only show the whole process, there is also an attempt to teach in detail everything a good killer has to take into account to avoid making mistakes. That makes us think that this killer is an expert.
Before the repetitive dialogue about what to do at the right time and not to improvise but rather to anticipate the events, the opposite happens, something that has put me in a position of dissatisfaction and disappointment, because I had heard so much in this narration that the least I expected would be to see a mistake.

    English Text

All of this made the whole first part of the movie feel more boring and a waste of time, but the effect on the plot itself was pretty collateral. Thinking about the fact that not killing the right person was going to hurt someone important to him.

What I must applaud above all is the agility he has to escape and even to find those responsible for trying to kill a member of his family.
The interesting thing about this, as I understood because I was really looking forward to the end, is that those responsible are the same people or companies that hire him to assassinate important targets.
I don't know if it was lack of attention on my part or if in the plot itself this is the modus operandi they use as a rebound effect of a job not executed. But I was a little surprised when they mentioned the Dominican Republic as a country where they possibly made part of the movie.

    English Text

At the end I think it's more of the same, a dialogue narrated very similar to the initial one, but this time well executed, perhaps showing that when they mess with the family things change, but everything happens very fast.

I said it in the beginning, that a lot of time and film was wasted in the first part, and it seems that after all they wanted to do the rest of the plot as fast as possible without any explanation of who he was going to kill, basically it seemed like a teacher teaching the viewers to be killers.
I'm not sure what the producers and writer of this script wanted, if they really wanted to focus only on that, or maybe I missed something, what I do know is that I didn't feel like watching a second movie of this possible saga.
What I do know is that it is in the list of the 10 most watched in my country and I still don't understand the reasons. This could be considered for Netflix to accept a new production of the killer.

    **

Hola amigos, buenas vibras para todos.

    **

Hello friends, good vibes to all.

    Source!

David Fincher is a very particular and above all good director, he is very good at what he does. He is a guy who gives his films a very unique cinematography with the visuals being predominant, something that blows my mind as a photographer, besides having the ability to tell certain stories that tend to be very intricate and sinister. When I heard about this film I knew I had to see it because I sensed it was going to be a good movie and indeed it was, I do not hide and from the very first paragraph I tell you that it is a very worthwhile production. If you don't know Fincher, he made films like The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo, The Social Network, Fight Club, The Case of Benjamin Button, among a few others.

The Killer, starring a great Michael Fassbender, is a film I would say a psychological thriller which has a little bit of everything. It has tension, a single fight scene but the truth for me is more than enough given the context of the film and the character but above all it is a film where we are shown, in a very clever way, the pure and hard mentality of a murderer and that these at the end of the day are not simple killing machines. With this film something happens and it is that you either hate it or you end up liking it a lot, but there are no medium dyes, it all depends on the eyes with which you see it. So, let's talk about the story of this mythical killer brought to the big screen.

    Source!

The assassin (Michael Fassbender) is a guy who has no name, he is only known in the world for how effective and ruthless he is when it comes to doing a job. He is meticulous, calm and in theory he has everything studied, it is impossible for him to miss any details in what he does. One fine day, doing an assignment, he suddenly begins to have a kind of epiphany where morality apparently begins to flourish in him, which in the end all it does is fill him with doubts. Doubts that little by little make him mentally weaker and that unexpectedly makes that order that he prepared so much, ends up failing by a few centimeters and thousands of details more.

Faced with this failure, he has no choice but to flee, flee as far away as possible until the hurricane that was going to form passes a little. The thing is that if you run away from your problems sooner or later they will catch up with you and you will have to face them and this is when the plot begins to move. Every action has consequences and that unexpected mistake would bring several of those consequences to his immediate life, so money is no longer his motivation but rather revenge, the desire to find all those who were behind something that ended up happening. We will see how a murderer, using an infinite number of resources, undertakes a hunt through several cities until he finds those responsible.

As I said, this film has certain peculiarities. One of them is the way the story is told. They do it through the "Voice over/off" which is a tool that allows us to be constantly in the mind of that murderer and know what he thinks. I like this a lot because it gives us a different perspective on everything, meeting an inaccessible man and knowing how monotonous he is and how that trained mind gradually breaks down due to moral and physical fatigue is undoubtedly one of the great attractions of the film. You will see how he constantly has to remind himself step by step what he has to do in order not to lose focus and fall into empathy, something that for him is the worst thing that could happen. This form of narration is very typical of Fincher.

The plot is incredibly simple and flat, it is very easy to understand, it has no shortcuts or tangents but that is not a problem here because the other elements that surround it make it very enjoyable. There is a beginning, a development and an end, it's that straightforward. I'm telling you that you won't get bored, the beginning may feel slow but that passivity has a reason to be. The second element I'm talking about is the visual, another of the great successes. It has an aura of an old movie from the seventies or eighties which is achieved by the color palette used; really and I repeat again, the cinematography is very top in this film, the photography is very successful.

The only protagonist is him even though we have Tilda Swinton around. A very good performance by Fassbender, very sober and complete. When it was his turn to be physically demanding he delivered a very good result, the same when it was his turn to play the dramatic, pragmatic and calculating character. Very few words but in the end you end up knowing him well thanks to his acting. The way he kills and the way he sets everything up is another great thing to see in this film. A solid 8/10, the film is really good, well worth a watch. It's very similar to The Punisher, both with adapted comics for a reason. It's on Netflix and is less than two hours long. Highly recommended to everyone. I leave the trailer below.

  19. The killer, David Fincher, 2023@claudio83958d

Dog eat dog Kill or be killed No trust in mankind Don't be remembered Don't trust Discipline Meticulousness Logistics method Music to prevent the mind from wandering Serve neither causes nor God nor flags No to empathy, empathy is weakness and weakness is vulnerability Don't improvise Play early Stick to plans The only path in life is the one behind you.

To be a good killer you need to follow strict rules with a margin of error as close to zero as possible, expected but not admissible.

In an initial twenty-minute voice-over monologue and with an almost line-free performance for two hours of film, Fassbender, directed by Fincher, delves into the dark abyss of a character made of shadows, silences and a maniacal control of emotions to present and return an absence of life, in perfect synchrony and coherence with one who takes life away.

The prologue is of such remarkable cinematic power that everything else goes without saying and flows anyway because it exploits the propulsive force of the beginning which is enough and goes on.

Michael Fassbender is an infallible killer, from his hotel window he waits for his target, a routine now. Everything is planned, as usual. But the unforeseeable happens: the killer gets the wrong target and begins an escape, in which he will discover that all the rules he created, after being broken, open up a new perspective on life.

David Fincher proves once again that he is a formidable director and that he focuses on increasingly complex aspects of man

The Killer was finally released on Netflix worldwide, and the first thing that came to my mind as soon as the credits rolled was that this is the most David Fincher film that David Fincher has created in his entire career, something that we could take as flattery or as an offense (depends on who you ask).

No wonder, over a couple of decades the American filmmaker has accustomed us to gems like Seven, Fight Club, Zodiac, Gone Girl and my favorite: The Social Network.

Characterized by a neat and calculated style, Fincher is the example to follow when it comes to thrillers, considered by many the father of several of the tropes that we usually associate with a genre today, but that very few directors know how to handle with the same level of elegance.

The case of The Killer is very particular because right off the bat this style is present in the two hours of footage, where we follow a subtle but silent Michael Fassbender who immerses us in the psyche of a cold and calculating hitman, obsessed with a work philosophy that in the long run seems to give it more problems than facilities.

    Screenshot_2023-11-11-20-19-44-142_org.videolan.vlc.jpg

However, it is undeniable that this same premise often serves to caricature the signature of Fincher himself, in a deconstruction of the thriller that is presented to us in a picturesque way and that does not always land in the correct way. Was this intentional or not? Apparently this is at the discretion of each spectator.

In my case, I am left with a visually attractive film, with subtle but entertaining visual gags (I applaud the choice to use The Smiths almost exclusively at all times) and an intermittent narration that helps make the "slower" moments bearable. But I regret that your message cannot be conveyed with such forcefulness.

    Screenshot_2023-11-11-18-57-06-628_org.videolan.vlc.jpg

Perhaps it doesn't work in The Killer's favor that we have such a wide catalog of similar works with which to make comparisons (in fact, I couldn't stop thinking about the elegance of The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo), but I think that as a film with A simple plot works quite well, especially if we decide to consider it a parody of itself.

[Five Nights at Freddy] And speaking of horror movies, the latest production from Blumhouse studio started making money in a very good style. I heard from a friend, a huge fan of games, that he really liked the movie, so I can't wait. If you thought we would get an R version for adults, unfortunately - it's not the case. At least not anytime soon. The creators liked this category and feel comfortable with PG-13. https://www.comingsoon.net/movies/news/1381041-fnaf-movie-box-office-10m

[Changes among young people and more] Heh, I've talked about it several times (in the last text of this type, I came across information that teenagers in EVERY country in the world are starting to enter into intimate relationships later and later). Change is coming, I can already see how Netflix-like companies are adapting to the new needs of customers. And orange YouTube will still be super popular, hehe. https://www.comingsoon.net/movies/news/1378333-a-study-reveals-gen-z-wants-less-sex-in-movies-and-tv

Prawdopodobnie dość długo nie zobaczymy go w żadnym dużym filmie. https://www.comingsoon.net/movies/news/1381267-magazine-dreams-release-date-delayed-indefinitely-jonathan-majors-movie

[Freud Last Session] No nie powiem, tematyka filmu mnie zaintrygowała, chyba go obejrzę.

A pomarańczowy YouTube nadal będzie super popularny, hehe. https://www.comingsoon.net/movies/news/1378333-a-study-reveals-gen-z-wants-less-sex-in-movies-and-tv
