   Análisis de la película

    

    

    Crear una historia de ciencia ficción no es algo fácil, sobre todo, cuando ya se tiene tantos antecedentes repetidos en cine y en literatura, un contexto futurista con credibilidad y sobre todo con buena lógica siempre es necesario para comenzar a construir los cimientos de cualquier historia inmersa en este género. Esta película nos coloca en un contexto interesante, no muy innovador, más allá de que hay recolectores de basura espacial, sin embargo, la historia y el contexto en que se desenvuelve es bastante efectiva para los amantes de la ciencia ficción y las aventuras.

    

   Algo recurrente que nos muestra este tipo de producciones es un futuro distópico donde la raza humana siempre se encuentra en peligro, normalmente a causa de su propio egoísmo. Aunque parezca trillado, es un recurso literario que en lo particular me agrada y que siento que tiene mucho que ver en nuestra realidad, así que este tipo de películas nos muestra de alguna manera hasta donde puede llegar las intenciones de la humanidad y como puede autodestruirse.

   Futuro Distópico

     Siempre este recurso va entrelazando a situaciones actuales, en ese sentido, el film aprovecha esas situaciones para contextualizar un futuro que incluso posee situaciones ya conocidas en esta sociedad. Otra esas características que siempre se utiliza es el poderío de una empresa que simplemente hace lo que quiere, dejando a un lado la moralidad o la ética sobre sus acciones. Así mismo también se establece el antagonista de esta historia, aunque no termina siendo muy convincente, ya que es eclipsado completamente por los personajes principales, es un tipo de villano que ha tomado valor en estos últimos años, ese que juega y al mismo tiempo juzga a la humanidad por siempre tener maldad y codicia dentro de sí.  

   Película con Estilo Asiático

    

   En lo particular, disfruté mucho este estilo oriental en toda la película, para aquellos que han visto animé o películas asiáticas notarán que sobresale ese tipo de secuencias clásicas de sus producciones, de hecho, la película pareciera un animé futurista, de esos que cuentan con un desarrollo profundo, pero que al mismo tiempo se recurre a varias estrategias para generar emociones a los espectadores.

   Este estilo siempre trata de hacer sobresalir a sus personajes, una de las típicas escenas que observamos tanto en anime como en este tipo de películas es cuando los personajes están a punto de hacer algo difícil o heroico, con un excepcional juego de cámaras acompañados de una dinámica banda sonora, todo esto hace que inmediatamente quedemos enganchados nos solo al filme si no a sus personajes.

    

    

   Estas típicas escenas heroicas realzando las virtudes de los personajes me recuerdan mucho al anime, de hecho, también hay escenas donde parece todo perdido hasta que al último segundo uno de los personajes logra llegar a tiempo (nadie sabe cómo) para salvar el día. Todo acompañado con muy buenos efectos visuales.

    

   Así como en muchas producciones de ciencia ficción que también pisa a fondo el género de aventuras, el equipo de personajes son diversos con características muy distintas unos de otros, estos personajes parecen ser sacados de un buen anime, con un buen carisma y sobre todo con una gran evolución en el film.

   Metraje de más de dos horas

    

   Algo que muchos observan antes de decidir ver una película es su metraje, dos horas puede ser excesivo para algunos, sin embargo, la película tiene una narrativa muy interesante y secuencias con dinamismo que hacen que el bostezo no sea el protagonista en este filme, así como el estilo asiático remarca en sus producciones hay tramas y subtramas que se entrelazan, en lo particular pienso que es una historia muy larga, pero que es resumida a tan solo dos horas, todo lo que pasa en la película se va desarrollando rápidamente y con un ritmo acelerado, aprovechando esa gran historia y subtramas para lograr buen entretenimiento por más de dos horas.

   En estos últimos años he visto que este trabajo técnico es excelente en las producciones asiáticas, creo que tienen un muy buen recurso para ofrecernos una calidad visual óptima que acompaña a la historia efectivamente, pienso que en general se hace un buen trabajo en este aspecto.

   Película Comercial

    

   Esta referencia la hago porque a mi parecer faltó algo que le quita sentido o lógica en algunas escenas, es la sangre, tanto en anime como en producciones asiáticas observamos que las heridas y la sangre se muestran, sin embargo, a pesar de la brutalidad de disparos a quemarropa no hay rastro alguno de sangre, evidentemente, es una estrategia para ampliar el número de espectadores que puedan ver el filme, sin embargo, hay escenas en donde simplemente desaparece la lógica cuando no hay ninguna gota de sangre.

   Pienso que la película iba encaminada para mostrar cierta brutalidad en sus acciones, pero que por hacer de este filme más comercial quitaron todo rastro de sangre, un detalle que para algunos espectadores no pasa desapercibido, sobre todo, a los que nos gusta la lógica en las historias y en sus escenas.

No es la película perfecta, pero si tiene características interesantes que pueden agradarle a una sección grande de público.    I make this reference because in my opinion there is something missing that takes away the sense or logic in some scenes, it is the blood, both in anime and Asian productions we see that the wounds and blood are shown, however, despite the brutality of point blank shots there is no trace of blood, obviously, it is a strategy to expand the number of viewers who can see the film, however, there are scenes where the logic simply disappears when there is no drop of blood.

   I have long been in love with Korean cinema, and thanks to unexpected plots, elaborate characters and original findings their thrillers and dramas can safely be referred to a separate genre, and of course I can not pass by the new film "Space Sweepers" by director and screenwriter Jo Seong-hee', which became a real breakthrough of South Korean filmmakers in the genre of adventure fiction (and the first Korean space blockbuster).

   Of course, it's a shame that we couldn't see it in the theater because of the global pandemic, but the good thing is that the film appeared in the Netflix catalog, and things are looking up for it to become one of the big hits of the winter on this streaming platform.

   

   Distant Future. As a result of an ecological disaster, Earth becomes uninhabitable and the population migrates to the planet's orbit. The UTS Corporation, whose employees and management live in an "orbital paradise" promises to terraform Mars and prepares to send the first colonizers, and the inhabitants of the planet have to work hard and pay exorbitant taxes to accomplish this mission.

   The crew of the "Victory" spaceship (big Korean pop-star Song Joong-gi, beauty Kim Tae-ri and сharismatic Jin Seon-gyoo) collects space debris - spent satellites or crashed ships - and during one of the raids they find a little girl aboard an abandoned ship, which the news calls a "terrorist tool" and a high-tech bomb.

   Despite the fact that the film is "sort of" composed of familiar and easy-to-read references to Joss Whedon's "Firefly", the anime "Cowboy Bebop", "Futurama" and, among other things, follows the plot scheme of the classic "Star Wars" (with the obligatory grand battle in the final), it looks just great and the two hours that it lasts literally fly by in the same breath.

   

   Vivid characters, great special effects and sets, simple and straightforward humor, brilliantly staged action scenes with fancy effects and outrageous focus shifts and a bit of suspense make it a great entertaining movie, and you can see why it took Jo Seong-hee about 10 years to write the script.

   It's a story polished to a tee with room for the traditional Korean hero going through a very traumatic situation, the funny robot saving up money (like Bender from "Futurama"), the caustic social commentary on the political situation in the country or a rather creepy version of Elon Musk.

   All this patchwork quilt makes a very complete picture and, hopefully, the sequel won't keep you waiting and the brave "Victory" crew will have many more exciting adventures :)

   Just finished watching this fantastic movie and i really liked it. I recommend, it's a well-created production that keeps you captive all the time. I promise you won't sleep until you enjoy each scene.

   

   This wonderful film production, as a whole, presents us one big futuristic image of humanity, of the year 2092. A captivating story where our planet Earth is completely destroyed and outer space is full of danger and floating garbage, such as discarded satellites and empty spaceships. The crew of a spaceship called Victory, travels through space in search of garbage from which they can make money, while competing with other garbage collectors from other countries and using the speed of their ship to defeat their rivals.

   Given the fact that in reality there is indeed space garbage, which surrounds our planet due to failures of some old space agencies,... this film does nothing but present a problematic, hypothetical version of the future of humanity.

   This is a pretty good science fiction movie. Amazing CGI effects, enough action, really ok topic for a South Korean movie. Worth seeing.
