[Superman] James Gunn has released the first photo from the film, showing Lex Luthor's armor. We've received more footage from the set; they're currently filming the Superman-Luthor fight. James Gunn has also recently spoken about Brainiac. The director announces a major conflict between the Kryptonian and the mega-intelligent alien. And I wonder who from Gunn's list will join the universe? James Gunn has addressed…More

My biggest Superman reference has always been the animated series (Superman: The Animated Series), Justice League and Justice League Unlimited. Those three animated series are my greatest source of knowledge of what Superman is like, an honest hero, kind to people, hopeful and above all, a character that despite being one of the most powerful beings in his world, is also a human with mistakes, humility and innocence…More
I walked into the theater bracing for a typical superhero spectacle, but this version of Superman didn’t just fly, it landed hard in my heart in ways I wasn’t expecting. David Corenswet steps into the cape with a kind of humble nobility that felt fresh—he’s still learning, still fragile in parts, and that’s the Superman I needed. From the first shot of him soaring over a sunlit Metropolis, I felt the promise of some…More
Image was gotten from here I'm a big fan of superhero movies; all things sci-fi and what not, so it was not surprising that I was ecstatic after hearing that a Superman movie would be released earlier this year. What followed after seeing it was a huge disappointment. I was left wanting for more, with a storyline that has become so overused that, one could have predicted how it was going to end from the very start./…More
It's been a long time since we last saw a Superman movie. Now, James Gunn with his guidance has made Superman (2025), it is made to launch the entire new DC and reboot the character of superman. The question arises did it succeed? In shortly I can say yes. Well, Gunn has successfully delivered a new, vibrant, and deeply heartfelt take on one of the most iconic superheroes which is ever created. I must agree on the f…More

The criticisms for Superman (2025) started from the very first day the slightest glimpse into it was seen. People didn't even give it a chance 🤣. But at least they were all ready to watch the heck out of it. The very first criticism was the change of Superman. Everyone has fell deeply in love with Henry Cavil, including me! He was the kinda guy that seemed to have been born for the role of Superman. No other Superm…More
▶️ Watch on 3Speak This Video Review is a tribute to Terence Stamp as I have not seen reviews about him in the community and I hope to encourage them to talk about him and his good work, Terence is an actor who is now resting in peace but in the role of General Zod became eternal in the Superman fans of that now distant era in the late 70s, In more recent decades I consider that not so many will know Terence's inter…More
Forget the grumpy and depressed Superman and meet the new and positive and more comic book accurate Superman. This iteration of Superman is directed and written by James Gunn. It feels different from many other the other Superman movies we've seen, probably because there is no exposition. Superman a lo largo de la historia ha sido un personaje que ha sido llevado al cine múltiples veces y siempre en diferentes versiones, en lo que a personalidad se refiere. I wasn't sure what to expect from the recent Superman film. I'm not really a fan of James Gunn and his style. And in general I haven't been all that caught up with most superhero stuff. I've tried to give *some* films a chance and have found them to be decent attempts, while others just missed their mark with me a bit more. I saw that the film, despite coming out not that many weeks back, ended up being sent almost…More
Okayyy, so I’m beyond glad that I’m finally able to talk about this film. It’s been a hot topic since it was released, with so many takes. Assenting, dissenting, critical, right out condemnatory, and all of that. Either way, I was looking forward to when I’d eventually see it, so that I could determine for myself whether the critics were right or not. Superman (2025) Anyway, let’s just get right into it. It’s Superm…More
# A Different Superman on the Big Screen # A few days ago, I had the opportunity to go to the movies after such a long time, and what better way to take advantage of the premiere of the new Superman movie? So, I found myself going to enjoy DC's latest release on the big screen. To tell you the truth, although I expected a little more, it was a movie that fulfilled its purpose and does not stick to realism but rather…More
▶️ Watch on 3Speak People are born with certain skills, some are good for letters, others are good for numbers and so on, the same happens with directors and characters they want to represent, James Gunn is a colossus represented chorus of characters with a grotesque creativity, that is his greatest power and proves it in Peacemaker, The Suicide Squad .... but is not worthy of embodying Kal El. I finally got around to seeing the new Superman movie. It took me a while because I couldn't make it to the theater when it first came out, so I wanted to do it justice and watch it in good resolution. I finally found a 4K version, which I think is a must for evaluating and enjoying a film so full of effects, CGI, and action. It wasn't easy to wait that long; there's so much content on different platforms, and I wan…More

Hey there, Hive!✨ ¡Hola, Hive!✨ En los últimos días he visto una gran emoción por la nueva película de Superman . # Hello!

*This publication was also writen in* SPANISH *and* PORTUGUESE . Fortress of Solitude Personally, I'm not a big fan of superhero movies because I believe they almost always follow the same formula, often limiting their creative potential by limiting themselves to a sort of "checklist" within a script that prioritizes methodical narrative devices. Source One of the biggest movie franchises that over the years have never stopped working is DC and will always be very well accepted.
Last night, I went to the Cines Unidos movie theater in the Las Américas shopping mall in the city of Maracay to see the new Superman movie, directed by James Gunn. I really feel as though DC is supremely kicking Marvel's ass this year so far and while this movie isn't spectacular they did manage to make a movie without making some sort of real life political statement or doing anything that could be considered "woke" - what ever that even means anymore What we get is a CGI filled and reasonably entertaining mindless 90 minutes of crazy stuff happening on screen intermingled wi…More
image from superman.com Hello everyone! I watched the new Superman movie over the weekend. It's the latest try to revive the DC Cinematic Universe after the less than successful Justice League a few years ago. I have been looking forward to this movie for over two years. I LOVE James Gunn's movies. The three Guardians of the Galaxy and the Suicide Squad movies are in my upper echelon of super hero movies. Plus there is one more I'll save for later. But for right now let's concentrate on Superman. Although it was not as good as Gunn's previous movies, it was still incredibly entertaining. It had action, humor and music…More
Superman is one of my most important Marvel & DC superheroes. Since childhood, I've also loved watching anime in the Battle-Shounen genre, which showcases great power in various forms (magic, energy, physical, kinetic, or any other form). ¡Hola, Comunidad de Hive! Hoy vengo a hablarles sobre un serie de animación que pude ver hace poco y que me dejó una muy buena impresión. I recently sat through a few Batman films of varying quality, not being a huge fan of superhero films. Though these films were relatively old, ranging from the 80s to the 90s. With this, I tried to remember whether I had seen any of these f…More
Superman: the universe's greatest policeman , perhaps the most controversial superhero ever created.
