I could say that the 80's were very memorable, music, fashion and especially cinema, gave us excellent gems that we continue to admire and remember with nostalgia. Yesterday I was watching TV and I came across one of these memorable movies of the 80's, it is Tango and Cash, a movie starring Sylvester Stallone and Kurt Russell, who are undoubtedly excellent actors of film and TV.
I have always liked the movies starring Stalone, because they are about a tough guy who solves things with punches and gunshots and that is pure old school art hahaha. And Kurt has a whole track record in movies, I checked on wikipedia all the movies he has acted in and he has done almost consecutively 1 for every year since the 60's, so the performances are solid.
Tango and Cash is about 2 star cops in the city of Los Angeles, who after being tricked and betrayed are put in jail for having prevented drug trafficking in Los Angeles, and although both cops don't get along well they will have to work together to clear their names and avoid dying trying.
Pudo decir que los años 80's fueron muy memorables, la musica, la moda y sobre todo el cine, nos dio excelentes joyas que seguimos admirando y recordando con nostalgia. El dia de ayer estuve viendo la televicion y me tope con una de estas peliculas memorables de los años 80's, se trata de Tango y Cash, una pelicula protagonizada por Sylvester Stallone y Kurt Russell, que son sin duda excelentes actores del cine y la tv.
Las peliculas protagonizadas por Stalone siempre me han gustado, porque son de un tipo rudo que soluciona las cosas a los golpes y a los disparos y pues eso es arte puro de la vieja escuela jajaja. Y Kurt tiene todo un historial en el cine, yo revise en wikipedia todas las peliculas en las que ha actuado y ha hecho casi consecutivamente 1 por cada año desde los 60's, Asi que las actuaciones son solidas.
Tango y cash es sobre 2 policias estrellas de la ciudad de los angeles, que luego de ser engañados y traicionados son metidos en la carcel por haber evitado el trafico de droga en los angeles, y aunque ambos policias no se lleven bien tendran que trabajar juntos para limpiar su nombre y evitar morir en el intento.
The movie starts with tango in the middle of a highway trying to stop a tanker truck transporting cocaine, after seeing how he constantly loses money due to the interference of tango and cash, the most powerful mobster in Los Angeles, Yves Perret, sets in motion a plan to liquidate tango and cash in a very painful way.
La pelicula empieza con tango a mitad de una carretera tratando de detener a un camion cisterna que transpota cocaina, luego de ver como pierde constantemente dinero debido a la intromision de tango y cash, el mafioso mas poderoso de los angeles Yves Perret, pone en marcha un plan para liquidar a tango y a cash de una manera muy dolorosa.
The plan to arrest these two cops is set in motion, when both are informed of a drug deal, Tango and Cash arrive at the scene but instead of a drug deal they discover a dead body beaten with a wire and at that very moment the FBI arrives and arrests the duo, there they realize that someone has fabricated the whole plan to get rid of them. The FBI and the police plant a lot of false information on them to make it look like they were the ones doing the drug deal, and after trials and plea bargains, tango and cash plead guilty on the condition that they be placed in a maximum security prison that has a special ward for cops.
El plan para detener a estos dos policias se pone en marcha, cuando ambos son Informados de un negocio de drogas, Tango y cash llegan al lugar pero en vez de un negocio de drogas Descubren un cuerpo muerto y golpeado con un cable y en ese mismo instante el FBI llegua y arresta al duo, alli se dan cuenta de que alguien les ha fabricado todo ese plan para librarse de ellos. El FBI y la policia Les implantan mucha informacion falsa para marchar sus nombres y hacer entender que eran ellos los que estaban haciendo el trato de drogas, y luego de juicios y acuerdos, tango y cash se declaran culpables con la condicion de que los coloquen en una prision de maxima seguridad que tiene un pabellon especial para policias.
When they arrive at the prison the mobster Yves has made a plan with bribes all over the place to send them to a minimum security prison where all the criminals that tango and cash have locked up in their entire career. Upon arrival they are greeted with threats of death and suffering. And while tango and cash take a shower they start talking and try to figure out who wanted them behind bars or who wanted them dead, so they come to the conclusion that it must be someone powerful who used a lot of money to pull a lot of strings and lock them up.
Cuando llegan a la prision el mafioso Yves ha hecho un plan con sobornos por todos lados para enviarlos a una prision de minima seguridad donde estan todos los criminales que tango y cash han encerrado en toda su carrera. Al llegar los reciben con amenazas de muerte y sufrimiento. Y mientras tango y cash toman una ducha comienzan a hablar y tratan de deducir quien los queria tras las rejas o quien los queria muertos, asi que llegan a la conclucion de que debe ser alguien poderoso que uso mucho dinero para mover muchas influencias y encerrarlos.
Then, that same night many prisoners break into the cells of tango and cash and catch them and take them to the laundry room of the prison, and all the prisoners begin to beat them in a pitched battle, then when they are very beaten and tired, they tie them up and place them on some tubs of water to electrify them to death. But a friend of Caash's who was his former police chief saves them and tells him that there is a plan to rescue them and get them out of that pigsty.
Luego, esa misma noche muchos presos irrumpen en las celdas de tango y cash y los atrapan y llevan al lavandero de la prision, y todos los presos comienzan a golpearlos en una batalla campal, Luego cuando estan muy golpeados y cansados, los amarran y los colocan sobre unas tinas de agua para electrificarlos hasta matarlos. Pero un amigo de caash que era su antiguo jefe de policia los salva y le dice que hay un plan para rescatarlos y sacarlos de esa pocilga.
But following the rescue plan, cash realizes that his friend's throat has been slit and now he is on the verge of death because the other prisoners are close to capture him, suddenly tango rescues him and together they climb to the roof of the prison to escape by a cable, it is funny that this is the first action movie I see where they use reality and not exaggerations to make a movie, because when they want to escape from the jail they have to slide down a wire but they are afraid of being electrified, but cash tells tango that if you touch a single wire without making contact with the ground they will not die, and after fighting with a prisoner they end up leaving, while the word begins to spread that tango and cash have escaped from jail and all the gangsters begin to feel fear because they do not want to die or go to jail. So they start tying up loose ends by killing those who helped put tango and cash in jail.
Pero al seguir el plan de rescate, cash se da cuenta de que a su amigo lo han degollado y ahora esta al borde de la muerte debido a que los otros presos estar cerca de capturarlo, de pronto tango lo rescata y juntos suben al techo de la carcel para huir por un cable, es gracioso que esta es la primera pelicula de accion que veo donde usan la realidad y no exageraciones para hacer una pelicula, ya que al quere huir de la carcel tienen que deslizarce por un cable pero tienen miedo de quedar electrificados, pero cash le dice a tango que si tocas un solo cable sin hacer contacto con el suelo no moriran, y luego de pelear con un preso terminan saliendo de alli, mientras que se empieza a corrar la voz de que tango y cash se han fugado de la carcel y todos los mafiosos se empiezan a sentir temor ya que no quieren morir o ir a la carcel. Asi que empiezan a atar cabos matando a los que ayudaron a meter a la carcel a tango y cash.
Tango and cash after getting out of jail go after those who framed them and discover that Yves was the one who wanted them dead and was the one who paid many cops and FBI agents, so they have to constantly sneak around to avoid being caught, even cash had to dress up as a whore to avoid being caught after looking for a clue with tango's sister (this scene is extremely funny and at the same time silly, since it is obviously cash with a wig and makeup, the cops who are more interested in seeing women than working can't identify him).
Tango y cash luego de salir de la carcel van tras quellos que coperaron para incriminarlos y descubren que Yves era quien los queria muertos y fue quien le pago a muchos policias y a agentes del FBI, asi que tienen que escabullirse constantemente para evitar que los atrapen, incluso cash tuvo que vestirse como ramera para evitar ser atrapado luego de buscar una pista con la hermana de tango (esta escena es sumamente graciosa y a la vez tonta, ya que obiamente se ve que es cash con peluca y maquillaje, los policias que le interesa mas ver mujeres que trabajar no logran identificarlo)
So after knowing where Yve is, they go loaded with weapons and a van with weapons to defeat Bin Laden and IS together. And after explosions, gunshots and nija cars with integrated machine guns, they manage to enter and destroy the whole house of the mafioso, and after rescuing the sister of tango that previously Rene, Yves' right hand man had captured, the movie ends with statements in the newspapers mentioning that tango and cash cleared their name and were acquitted of all charges.
Asi que luego de saber donde esta Yve, van cargados con armas y una camioneta con armamento para derrotar a Bin laden y al IS juntos. Y lugo de explociones, disparos y carros nija con ametralladoras integradas, logran entrar y destrosar toda la casa del mafioso, y luego de rescatar a la hermana de tango que previamente Rene el mano derecha de Yves habia capturado, termina la pelicua con enunciados en los periodicos mencionando que tango y cash limpiaron su nombre y fueron absueltos de todos los cargos.
Palabras finales: Lo bueno, lo malo
The great thing about this movie was the perfect mix of comedy, action and drama, you really feel your heart beat faster when they are on the verge of death and the movie makes you feel adrenaline when they try to escape from jail, since you don't know who they should trust. The comedy is a strong point as there are many scenes that will make you laugh out loud, for example when they catch Rene and with a strategy of the bad cop and the worse cop and a fake grenade in his pants, they get him to sing like a mockingbird. Also when in jail Rene is about to slit Cash's throat and he asks for an American to kill him and not a British. Also the scene when they go to foil the fake drug deal and fight to get there first, as well as the scene of falcon and the winter soldier in episode 2 when they go to germany to go after the trail of the super soldiers.
Lo bueno de esta pelicula fue la mezcla perfecta de comedia, accion y drama, realmente sientes que el corazon se te aclera cuando estan al borde de la muerte y la pelicula te hace sentir adrenalina cuando tratan de escapar de la carcel, ya que no sabes en quien deben confiar. La comedia es un punto fuerte ya que hay muchas escenas que te haran reir a carcajadas, como por ejemplo cuando atrapan a Rene y con una estrategia del policia malo y el policia peor y una granada falsa en los pantalones, logran que cante como cual ruiseñor. Tambien cuando en la carcel Rene esta a punto de degollar a cash y el pide que alguien un americano lo mate y no un britanico. Tambien la escena en que van a frustrar el falso trato de droga y pelean por llegar primero, asi como la escena de falcon y el soldado de invierno en el espisodio 2 cuando van a alemania para ir tras la pista de los super soldados.
As for The bad part of tango and cash, as in every movie they show a somewhat false reality of life, because if you attack a lot of bad people sooner or later you will suffer the consequences, also in the real world many cops are corrupt since they start so this two cops against criminals without being tainted by corruption is a farce. The really good cop who wants to enforce the law is almost extinct. Other than that there is nothing to add as it is a movie that goes smoothly and leaves no bumps in the plot, no doubt tango and cash is an excellent choice to spend some time watching an eighties action movie, besides having legendary artists of cinema making a good movie.
En cuanto a Lo malo de tango y cash, pues como en toda pelicula muestran una realidad de la vida algo falsa, ya que si atacas mucho a las personas malas tarde o temprano sufriras las consecuencias, tambien en el mundo real muchos policias son corruptos desde que inician asi que esto de dos policias contra los criminales sin resultar manchados por la corrupcion es toda una farsa. El policia realmente bueno que quiere cumplir la ley esta casi extint. Fuera de eso no tengonada que agregar ya que es una pelicula que va fluidamente y no deja baches en la trama, sin duda tango y cash es una excelente opcion para pasar un rato viendo una pelicula de accion ochentera, ademas de contar con artistas legendarios del cine haciendo una buena pelicula.
