The Bluff

The Bluff is an action movie to see; this talks about how pirates work, talks about the sea, and also talks about revenge.

It was Isaac's 13th birthday, and he was waiting for his father to return because he had promised him to return from the sea to celebrate his thirteenth birthday with him. However, Isaac's father did not return in time to celebrate his thirteenth birthday. Isaac was curious because he has never been that late on the sea; his wife was also curious, but since he's a sailor anyways. He has used 59 days on the sea without returning; the son was scared perhaps something bad has happened to him. But the wife, Ercell, keeps giving him the courage that he is going to return very soon.

However, before he traveled, he left a present for his son Isaac's thirteenth birthday, knowing fully well that he might not return on time or something might happen because the sea is uncertain. His wife called, and Ercell gave him the present his husband left for him, which happens to be a dagger.

On the other hand, Elizabeth, who happens to be Ercell's sister, has been planning to run away with Weston because she has gotten tired of staying on the island. She wanted to see the outside world. So they planned to leave the island together and continue their love journey outside of it. They were to move early morning before her sister wakes up. Weston was supposed to prepare the ship they will use to travel, but on getting there, pirates have invaded the community.

They killed him and went to the small town to kill all the people in the town in search of Ercell (Bloody Mary), who has for once had some past life. Ercell and his son were attacked the same day, but she was able to defeat them. They were in search of gold, which their captain claimed she stole from her during their time together.

At this point Ercell, who is also known as Bloody Mary in the movie, narrated her past life to her sister and her son, a secret she has been keeping for so many years. She was attacked by Captain Fransisco Connor. Who has taken everything away from her since she was twelve years old? Her parents were murdered, and she was raised on the sea. She claimed she took what belonged to her, and that was the gold they're in search of.

Captain Fransisco Connor tricked her into doing an exchange of the gold, and her husband will be free. She later got to know her husband was kidnapped by these same people; at the end of everything, her husband was killed in front of her, but she took revenge. With the help of her sister, she was able to kill all the pirates, including Captain Francisco Connor, and regain freedom. Isaac, Elizabeth, and she were able to reunite together.

The movie has a good start and a good ending; her real name was Mariam before she changed it. It's a good movie to see. If you enjoy both sea and action movies at the same time, this film is for you.
