El Ilusionista es un film con una trama que logra cautivar el espectador en amor y magia, mas que el romance el cual veo bien desarrollado, su poder esta en el espectáculo porque llegamos a ser parte de esa audiencia que esta frente al protagonista y preguntarnos sí en verdad lo que nos muestra es real o solo una ilusión.
Sí hay algo que queda en mi mente luego de ver el film es el como juega con el truco de las naranjas, ese es el acto que mas me llega y me hace creer en lo sobrenatural pero mas allá del argumento el cual es solido, ese acto transmite mucho, tanto que hasta inclusive se pudieran probar esas naranjas.
Claro esta el disfrute del film es entregarse a la ilusión, preguntarnos si en verdad lo esta logrando y en ese momento que nos hacemos esa pregunta, estamos totalmente dentro del film el cual tiene un objetivo muy marcado el cual es recuperar el amor.

Ahora si hay un elemento que hace a los protagonistas funcionar robustamente es el personaje llamado Walter Uhl interpretado por Paul Giamatti, cuando vi el film mi sensación hacía el es que no me agrado, no le veía en personaje, físicamente no me convence pero eso no quiere decir que el personaje no este bien escrito, de hecho en ese aspecto me gusta porque nos deja ir conociendo las debilidades de la ilusión.
Rufus Sewell quien interpreta al príncipe refleja el conocimiento, la explicación, lo racional pero no llega, en mi sensación no logra transmitirlo y de hecho le veo como un villano débil porque trata de hacernos dudar sobre las ilusiones pero lo que me dice no llega, mas me hace pensar es Uhl, el con sus dudas y curiosidad no desecha la ilusión a porque sí, el ama la incertidumbre de no saber y eso lo hace buscar la explicación racional, con él si dudo de lo que me presenta Eisenheim.
El Ilusionista es un film que se merece 8 chiquitos de 10, el detalle a colocar para entender los actos de magía plus esas ligeras explicaciones con trucos mas sencillos encanta y saber si es real o no es lo que me enamora del film, la sensación mas poderosa del ser humano es la curiosidad y el film llega a su cometido haciéndome preguntar si lo que veo es verdad o no haciéndome caer felizmente en la ilusión.

Abro zona de spoilers para mencionar esas escenas que mas me gustaron de la película que no necesariamente son las ilusiones.
Lo mejor del film para nada es el final, ni siquiera son los actores que representan a los personajes ya adultos, tampoco fueron las ilusiones, lo mejor del film como escena fue el nacimiento del Romance.
El desarrollo de la escena con el collar justifica todo, nos permite ver como Eisenheim se enamoro de la magia luego de ver un truco y como encontró el amor en Sophie pero no uno pasajero, uno que le hizo tomar la decisión de huir para adquirir el conocimiento necesario para regresar un día por ella.
Todo eso lo contiene esa escena y es allí donde entro en película, quiero ver toda la historia de principio a fin sin perder detalles porque si hay algo positivo que demuestra el protagonista es el ser paciente, lo mejor de una ilusión no es el engaño, es la paciencia y eso me encanta.
Como ilusión que claro me gustaron varias, la que mas me llego porque es simple, puedo creer en ella, es la del árbol de naranjas, cuando veo florecer este fruto me digo, este mago puede crear vida, esto es alquimia de la mas pura y la esta ejecutando con estilo.
Comparo con la ejecución de la nigromancia, cuando hace aparecer muertos y supuestamente a Sophie pero ya eso es un espectáculo, con las naranjas si dudo pero con los muertos no y mas porque el film no sabe muy bien explicar esa ilusión a mi parecer, se necesita para concluir la historia pero no es redonda su explicación.
Ahora algo a criticar es el villano, no tiene poder, su debilidad es su padre, el derrocarle y eso hace que no maltrate a Sophie porque se dice el hasta mato una mujer tirándola de un balcón luego de la paliza que le dio pero yo en la trama no percibo a alguien tan frío para eso, solo veo un personaje regular que justifica todo porque es príncipe, no tiene peso de maldad.
