It is sad to think that you might give even what you don't have for someone, while they won't give even the slightest bit of what they have for you. But what if they have nothing? Nothing but ambition and greed.
Sharing a life with someone offers security, stability, understanding, and—above all—loyalty. Is that a hard question to answer? But... can we watch this 20-episode series?
A very handsome and—above all—brilliant medical student, top of his class, with everything it takes to become an extraordinary doctor. He is in a relationship with an aspiring TV presenter; they are together, yet their mindsets are worlds apart. He simply wants to graduate and pursue his career, care for his sick sister, and—most of all—shower his girlfriend with love and protect her. They have weathered very difficult times together, and ultimately, it would be nearly impossible for them to ever forget each other.
Everything changes due to Han Jae-hee's desperate ambition to become the president of Taesan Group; she killed a man (in self-defense) and concealed information regarding the company's chairman—solely to save him and become his wife. Maru, her ex-boyfriend and lifelong friend, stepped in to save her by turning himself in to the police in her place, thereby securing her freedom. Yet, throughout those years, she never once visited him and instead abandoned him; she married the chairman and even had a son with him, as her ambition proved stronger than her "love" and loyalty to Maru. Years later, their paths cross again, yet she never apologizes nor shows any remorse. He returns a changed man—more handsome and calculating—though he still harbors feelings for his ex-girlfriend and best friend. Although Maru initially had no plans for revenge, the ordeal he endured caused his love to turn into a desire for vengeance, leading him to use Eun-gi as a means to exact revenge on Jae-hee. However, little by little, he begins to fall in love with her, and she with him. The series makes extensive use of metaphors; at times, I found myself lost in their dialogue—it felt as though they were communicating in code while I was caught in the middle, haha. There is also a lot of talk about destiny, as well as a focus on health, proper nutrition, and exercise.

A lot happens in the series—basically revenge all around. Everyone is trying to save someone while simultaneously destroying themselves. The protagonist is torn between saving his past love and his present love. There was one scene that really moved me: he cries and tells his ex-girlfriend to essentially turn herself in, promising to forgive her and always be there for her, but telling her not to ask him to love her—obviously, the love was gone. Still, something remained from the time they had spent together.
I really liked the friendship he had with his friend—a healthy, beautiful friendship. His friend supported him in everything and was always there for him and for Maru's sister; in fact, they even ended up together.
I didn't expect the series' ending. After several episodes waiting for the resolution, everyone ended up paying a price for their actions but also got the chance to start over.
Looking back, the series actually offers lessons on various aspects of life—though it certainly has its fair share of drama, because otherwise, it wouldn't be a K-drama. It was good, though, so I recommend it.

Vivir y compartir con una persona toda la vida te asegura seguridad, estabilidad, comprensión y, sobre todo, lealtad. ¿Es difícil de responder? Pero, ¿podemos ver esta serie de 20 episodios?
Un estudiante de medicina muy guapo y sobre todo muy inteligente, primero en su clase, con todo para llegar a ser un doctor extraordinario. Tiene una relación con una chica aspirante a presentadora; ambos juntos, pero con mentalidades completamente opuestas. Él solo quiere graduarse y seguir ejerciendo su carrera, cuidar de su hermana que está enferma y, sobre todo, darle mucho amor a su novia y protegerla. Ambos han pasado situaciones muy difíciles juntos y, por ende, es muy difícil que los dos se olviden.
Todo cambia por la desesperación de han jae hee por llegar a ser presidenta de la empresa taesan, desvivió a un hombre (en defensa propia) y oculto la información del presidente de dicha empresa solo para salvarlo y convertirse en su esposa, Maru su exnovio y amigo de toda la vida llega a salvarla y se entrega a la policía por ella dejándola libre , en todos esos años ella nunca llamó nunca visitó y lo abandonó, se casó con el presidente de la empresa y hasta un hijo tuvieron su ambición pudo más que el " amor" y lealtad a Maru.
Después de muchos años coinciden los dos y ella jamás pide perdón y se arrepiente; él llega cambiado, más guapo y calculador, pero aún mantiene sus sentimientos hacia su exnovia y mejor amiga.
Maru, aunque inicialmente no tenía planes de vengarse de ella, tanto fue lo que esta le ha hecho pasar que el amor se transformó en venganza, así que utilizó a Eun-gi para vengarse de Jae-hee.
Pero poco a poco se va enamorando de ella, y ella de él.
En esta serie juegan mucho con las metáforas; a veces me perdía en lo que decían, sentía que de verdad estaban hablando entre ellos con claves y yo de por medio, jejeje. También hablan mucho del destino, y se preocupan por estar saludables, comer bien o hacer ejercicio.
Algo de spoiler
En la serie suceden muchas cosas, básicamente venganza por todos lados cada quien busca salvar a alguien mientras van destruyendose ellos mismos, el protagonista está dividido entre salvar a su amor del pasado y su amor del presente, hubo una escena que me dió mucho sentimiento el llora y le dice a su ex novia que prácticamente se entregue que el la va a perdonar y estará para ella siempre Pero que no le pida que la ame, obviamente el amor se terminó . Sin embargo algo le queda de todo ese tiempo que convivieron juntos .
Me gustó mucho la amistad que tenía con su amigo , una amistad sana y hermosa, básicamente su amigo lo apoyaba en todo y siempre estaba para el y la hermana de Maru, incluso terminaron juntos
El final de la serie no me lo esperaba después de varios capítulos esperando el desenlace todos terminaron pagando algo de lo que hicieron y volvieron a tener la oportunidad de comenzar de nuevo.
Viendolo bien la serie si deja su aprendizaje desde varios puntos en la vida , por su puesto con su drama por qué si no no fuera un kdrama Pero estuvo buena así que la recomiendo.
