¡Hola Chicos!
Si siguen mi cuenta desde hace tiempo sabrán que en Lakrearte nos dedicamos a todas las experiencias relacionadas al arte, y en esta ocasión les contaré lo que fue nuestra participación en el cumpleaños de la pequeña Marcela.
Un día recibí un mensaje donde me preguntaban los costos de nuestros paquetes para las sesiones de arte y luego de darle todo con lujo de detalles no concretamos nada. Es común que esto pase, pues muchas personas escriben a diario solamente para cotizar y en algunas ocasiones no pasa de eso.
Pero mayor fue mi sorpresa que el fin de semana anterior a la fecha (que era un miércoles), recibí un mensaje donde me confirmaban el contrato. Esto nos hizo sumamente felices y comenzamos con toda la planificación. Por suerte para ese momento contábamos con suficientes materiales para cubrir la urgencia.
Y así se nos hizo el gran día. Salimos de casa bien temprano para arreglarnos en el local ya que habíamos amanecido sin electricidad y llegar al sitio todos acalorados no era una opción.

If you've been following my account for a while, you know that at Lakrearte we're dedicated to all things art-related, and this time I'll tell you about our participation in little Marcela's birthday party.
One day I received a message asking about the costs of our art session packages, and after giving them all the details, we didn't finalize anything. This often happens, as many people write daily just to ask for a quote, and sometimes it doesn't go beyond that.
But I was even more surprised when, the weekend before the event (which was a Wednesday), I received a message confirming the contract. This made us incredibly happy, and we started planning everything. Luckily, we had enough materials on hand to cover the last-minute rush.
And so the big day arrived. We left home very early to get ready at the studio since we had woken up without electricity, and arriving all hot and bothered wasn't an option.
Pedimos un taxi desde el local, ya que no salía tan costoso y era mucho más cómodo llegar de esta forma porque no había un transporte que nos llevara directamente sin tener que caminar.
El cumpleaños era en una residencia que nunca había visitado y la verdad era bastante linda y las casas a persar de ser pequeñas se veían bien cómodas.
Nos recibieron y de inmediato nos dispusimos a acomodar todo para cuando llegaran los artistas del día. El espacio para esto si era bastante reducido pero aún así logramos resolver.
En la sala colgaba un cuadro bastante llamativo hecho con figuras de madera de varios tamaños y formas, acomodadas a la perfección las cuales creaban una armonía perfecta. Me gusto tanto que le tomé una foto para luego enseñarle a mi esposo.
Comenzaron a llegar los invitados e inmediatamente comenzaron a trazar sus bocetos. Todos los lienzos estaban en blanco, por lo que cada uno busco la idea que más le gustaba y luego le dieron vida con la pintura.
We ordered a taxi from the venue, as it wasn't too expensive and it was much more convenient to get there this way since there was no public transportation that would take us directly without having to walk.
The birthday party was at a residence I had never visited before, and it was quite lovely. The houses, despite being small, looked very comfortable.
We were welcomed and immediately set about arranging everything for when the artists arrived. The space for this was quite limited, but we managed to work it out.
In the living room hung a striking painting made with wooden figures of various sizes and shapes, arranged perfectly to create a harmonious effect. I liked it so much that I took a picture to show my husband later.
The guests began to arrive and immediately started sketching their designs. All the canvases were blank, so each person chose the idea they liked best and then brought it to life with paint.
Había de todo un poco pero lo que predominó fueron los personajes, desde personajes de Sanrio (como era la temática del cumpleaños), a gatitos y dibujos animados.
There was a little bit of everything, but the characters predominated, from Sanrio characters (as was the theme of the birthday), to kittens and cartoons.
Le ayudé a varios a arreglar algunos detallitos importantes y a darle un poco más de vida a sus obras y así todos quedaron bien contentos con sus cuadros.
La verdad la pasamos súper bien, todos mantuvieron el enfoque con la actividad y disfrutaron el momento. Estos talleres a mi la verdad me encantan, pues aunque no soy yo la que pinta, me disfruto un montón ayudar a las personas a lograr el resultado ideal y ver luego sus caritas de orgullo me deja más que feliz. ♥

I helped several people fix some important details and give their artwork a little more life, and everyone was very happy with their paintings.
We had a really great time; everyone stayed focused on the activity and enjoyed the experience. I truly love these workshops because, even though I'm not the one painting, I really enjoy helping people achieve the ideal result, and seeing their proud faces afterward makes me incredibly happy. ♥
